Premiere Pro CC doesn't recognize Radeon HD 6750M 1Gb

Hey guys,
I dk what to do, I've searched every single forum possible, Premiere Pro CC doesn't see Radeon HD 6750M, but it has this video card in the list of the supported cards.
I have a laptop HP DV6-6135dx with A8-3500M (four cores), 6Gb RAM and two graphic cards (one of them is on the chipset I believe so) AMD Radeon HD 6620G and AMD Radeon HD 6750M 1Gb, Windows 7 64bit
What could be possibly wrong? I've tried to disable 6620G but it didn't work.. I only have one option in project settings which is Mercury SOFTWARE ONLY.
Any help would be so much appreciated.

Jim,
Yes! Absolutely! 1Gb dedicated, DDR5, supports OpenCL. You know, I just noticed one very weird thing - Windows sees my GPU and other programs don't! I was trying to pull up a report for you from GPU Caps Viewer to show that my video card actually has 1Gb dedicated memory, and this programs doesn't see it, neither Sandra Lite does! These programms only recognize my AMD Radeon HD (tm) 6620G, but not Radeon HD 6750M. The driver has been updated, Windows says that the device is working properly! What could be the problem? P.S This is so weird!

  • Premiere Pro CS6 does not recognize USB PnP Sound device connected  to iMac OSX even when activated in Audio MIDI setup. The iMac(i-7 processor,16 GB)   is working with this USB device without any problem

Premiere Pro CS6 does not recognize the USB PnP Sound device in order to produce a commentary sound track. The USB device has been activated on the iMac OSX by using the Audio-MIDI-setup and is working correctly with the iMac. When opening > presets >audio hardware I can only select between >standard >out  integrated > digital input integrated >microphone integrated. USB PnP is not indicated at this place.
With the built-in microphone of the iMac I can produce the commentary sound track, but I would prefer a stand alone version for better quality.
Your help is highly appreciated. Thanks in advance, Annemarie!

I'm using a Logitech Webcam Pro 9000 (which has a microphone on the side). I have several other devices plugged into separate USB slots: a keyboard, a mouse, my iPhone, and a Roland keyboard midi controller.
I've considered that maybe the webcam/mic combo is the culprit. If USB doesn't work at a constant speed, that could very well be causing the issue! The sound begins to lag badly sometimes when it's working properly, so that there's a multisecond delay between speaking and hearing my voice repeated back over the mic which is another sign that something is wrong. I've also caught it making a strange electronic sound during its "hang" time once it stops taking sound input correctly.
Maybe I should try to use line-in and forgo USB altogether then. I think I'd need a preamp and some sort of converter for that since the Mac Mini lacks a powered mic jack. I'm only a newbie musician so I've never set up such a system but it might be a better solution in the long run.
I'll check to see if it hangs before or after my computer enters suspend mode, that's a good suggestion too. Thank you for your help!

  • Premiere Pro CS6 won't recognize alpha channel in .tiff file from photoshop

    Hey Everyone,
I'm new to Premiere Pro, but I have used Final Cut Pro 6-7. Anyway, I created a 3D text design in Photoshop to use on top of another photo in a video in Premiere. In Photoshop, the alpha channel appears fine. In Premiere Pro it is not recognized. Instead, a white background appears where the alpha channel should be. When I layered the 3D text on top of a photo (in Premiere Pro), the white still appears around the 3D text design. After I imported the file, I did click on the .tiff file and clicked on modify---->interpret footage----->alpha channel (where I deselected ignore alpha channel). Premiere Pro still does not recognize the alpha channel. Should I convert the Photoshop file to another format or is there something I'm not doing? I'm spending more time trying to figure this out than I am on putting this short video/photo slide show together. I would greatly appreciate any help anyone can offer.

Thanks Ann!!! Seriously, you just saved me hours of aggravation. I didn't know I had to select that in Photoshop. I was under the impression that Adobe product files were seamless.

  • HT201249 I would like to sync my iPhone 4S to my MacBook Pro, so that I can restore to the iPhone 6, I just bought. When I plug the 4s into the Mac Book Pro, Itunes doesn't recognize it and says that I need to upgrade my phone to Itunes 11.1.

WHat do I do if my iPhone 4S won't sync to my macbook pro, and my phone doesn't seem to upgrade to itunes11.1? The upgrade should be on the iTunes upgrade page, but there's no icon.

There must be something wrong. You should update the iTunes on your Macbook pro to make iTunes recognize your iPhone. For more details, check out:iOS: Device not recognized in iTunes for OS X - Apple Support

  • 2012 Macbook Pro 15" doesn't recognize VGA monitors plugged into displayport

We have a 2012 Macbook Pro 15" (and a 2010, and a 2011).  The 2012 doesn't recognize VGA/DVI (old) monitors plugged into it, but it does recognize new DVI monitors.
What gives?  I'm not even sure how to diagnose or attempt to treat this.
    2012 Macbook Pro
    OS X 10.8.3
    Wacom Cintiq
    Vuzix iWear
    etc

Does it see, recognize, any usb devices?
Have you tried a smc reset?
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3964
If that doesn't fix it and no usb device is being seen by that port then you have a hardware problem and you need to take the system to apple to be fixed before your warranty runs out.

  • Premiere Pro CC doesn't create a new sequence with a new project

I feel sure I must be missing something, but when I create a new project in Premiere Pro CC, it doesn't automatically create a new sequence.
In CS6, creating a new project would cause it to pop up a list of sequence presets and then create a new, blank sequence for you.
In CC, once you've created a project, you're left looking at an empty timeline.  You then have to go up to File, New, Sequence, and do it there.
Seems like a strange extra step to include, no?
Is there a setting I haven't found then makes CC create new projects with a sequence as CS6 does?

Yes, as Jim mentions, there are other ways to create a sequence.  For example, just import your footage, and then with one clip selected, choose File > New > Sequence from Clip.  Or in the Project panel, drag a clip to the New Item icon.  Many find it easier to create the sequence that way, rather than reading through all the settings in the New Sequence dialog and trying to figure out which attributes fit the media they are working with.

  • Premiere Pro CC will not recognize second monitor

    Greetings:
I am having an issue with using my second monitor for output in PP CC.  I have done the following based on another post:
Try these two steps to verify Transmit is enabled:
    1. Go to the Program Monitor panel menu> Verify 'Enable Transmit' has a checkmark.
    2. Go to Preferences> Playback> Verify the your 2nd monitor is present and checked.
What I get when I do this is a black screen that covers the upper left side of my screen in 1920x1080, the size of my other monitor.  When I save a project and use my second monitor for a panel, say for my assets, I am able to drag the panel over and use it, but when I save and restart, the panel is always on my primary monitor:

I have tried different confgurations in Preferences->Playback, but get the same reult every time.  I have to force quit when I get the black box, as I am unable to access any other PP options.  Has anyone else run into this, and if so, is there a solution?  I have seen that there has been a 'transmit' issue, but that does not seem to resolve this particular problem.  Thanks!

I do hate replying to my own post but I thought I would post here how I fixed my problem in case anybody else ends up here with a similar one.
To be clear, I have 2 monitors and when I enabled transmit the full screen playback would be overlayed over my Premiere workspace on monitor 1 even though I had specified monitor 2 as my video device in Preferences > Playback.
It appears that at some time in the last few months (I have a vague memory of this) I had decided to check out the 'improvements' in the way Mavericks handled multiple monitors. I created a couple of spaces in Mission Control at which point the Applications in the dock gained an extended OPTIONS menu  on the context menu (the one that pops up when your right click on the app icon in the dock). I knew this extended menu was there because the Apple website told me so.
The extended OPTIONS menu on my 2 monitor setup now contained ASSIGN TO > ALL DESKTOPS; DESKTOP ON DISPLAY 1; DESKTOP ON DISPLAY 2; NONE.
After trying out the different options to see if the operation was consistent with Apple's explanation and whether I wanted to work with spaces I decided that I didn't so I removed the spaces I had created in Mission Control.
Removing the spaces removed those extra ASSIGN TO menu options although I wasn't aware of that at the time.
A few days later  I went to enable TRANSMIT when editing in Premiere Pro (which I had used successfully before) only to have the problem described in this thread. I stupidly credited this problem to a recent CC update and when the CC 2014 update didn't correct it I started to look elsewhere.
Cut to the end and the solution  - - after proving that a new test Mac user account did not exhibit the problem I returned to my user account, enabled some spaces in Misson Control, changed the ASSIGN TO menu to NONE for Premiere Pro (the default) and then the TRANSMIT function worked correctly, the full frame playback was assigned to the correct window.
Ok, the last  paragraph may suggest I knew what to do but I didn't, I  had spent a lot looking in the user library to look for differences until I stumbled across this.

  • Premiere Pro exports fail to recognize changes made to Dynamic Link through After Effects

    Hi there,
I am having an issue with Premiere Pro CC and Dynamic Links/After Effects CC.
I will be working within the PP CC timeline using footage, and then add motion graphics using Adobe Dynamic Link to AE CC. I notice an error in timing, or spelling, colouring - literally any type of error in AE CC that I want to correct. I go to AE CC and make the correction, go back to PP CC, and it shows up as changed. I go back to AE CC, purge media cache, memory, etc. and save the workfile. I go back to PP CC and export using Media Encoder. After waiting for the export to complete, I find it maintained the same error from a previous edit.
Does anyone know why this would be? Is there any way to avoid having to restart every time I make a small change to an edit?
Thank you in advance for any insight.

It has now happened to myself and my co-worker. The only way we have been able to "solve" the problem is by deleting cache/restarting both programs/restarting the entire computer. It shows up as changed within the Premiere project, as well as in the preview in Adobe Media Encoder - and then the final output does not reflect those changes.
Another suggested workaround to anyone else out there who is problem solving is exporting directly from Premiere, but none of these solutions seem to work 100% of the time, nor really address what this problem really could be stemming from.

  • Premiere pro cs3 doesn't place audio into the corresponding video track

It places a video clip with audio in the Video 1 track, the audio is not automatically placed into Audio track 1 but it goes to Audio 2 or 3 or 4. I checked settings both Project and Preferences but have not clue what may cause this problem. Any help would be greately appreciated.
I have Premiere Pro CS3 running on Vista home premium. Thank you

  • Premiere pro CC doesn't launch !

Hey, i was very exited this morning because of the CC release ! I started to install After Effects CC (work perfectly), photoshop CC (work perfectly) but Premiere CC doesn't lauch at all ! Windows force close the program at the very begining of the loading screen....... I tried to reboot my pc, CC did one small update for each of the 3 programs, i was thinking : "nice, the bug is already solved !"... but it still doesn't work.... (only Premiere).
Does anybody has the same problem ? I hope Adobe will find an issue as soon as possible.
My setup : Windows 7 pro on a Dell precision m4700 (core i7 3820QM, Nvidia quadro k2000m, 16Go of RAM, installed on a SSD)...
thanks ! please apologize my messy english !
    Guillaume

I had the same problem all day. I found the answer for me on another thread.
    http://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/cc-applications-crash-immediately- launch.html
Try to sign in and out of Creative Cloud. That was it for me. Stupid problem but now it all works. One thing to add that the link doesn't explain is that the "Sign out from creative cloud" button in the cloud app is greyed out until you close out your browser (if you are logged in to Adobe). As soon as I closed the browser the button became active and I could log out.

  • Macbook pro unibody doesn't recognize hdd, is it cable or motherboard?

    Hi,
A few weeks ago I replaced my hdd in my macbook pro 13inch med 2010 with a ssd. Some weeks after I did it, my macbook didn't boot up anymore, it showed a flashing folder. I put my old hdd in and it still doesn't boot up. I use my macbook now by booting from a external harddrive through usb.
However this makes the laptop much slower so I want to fix the problem. My problem is: how do I know if it's the cable from hdd to motherboard is broken or the connector on the motherboard itself is broken?
Hope someone can help me out,

Aahh, so DiskUtility does not see the HDD that is inside at all? That means trouble: either the HDD inside is dead, but probably the cable inside is not connected correctly or is damaged (or you forgot to connect a cable).
I suppose that you wanted to change the HDD with the SSD, and that you have cloned the HDD to the SSD (while externally), then after a while the MBP did not start tanymore form the internal (SSD) and you switched them again, and it still does not start from the internal (HDD), but it will from the external (SSD).  The MBP starts from the SSD (outside), so that is OK, but the HDD inside is not recognised anymore.
-hanging question: What OS do you run (you have 10.0.x indicated)?-
I deduct that it is either a loose connection or a damaged connector inside.
To be sure you could switch them again and see if the MBP starts from the outside HDD (if not, and it starts from the inside SSD, the HDD is wrong), but I guess that then the MBP will not switch from the inside disk either.

  • Premiere elements 10 doesn't recognize avchd from my canon camcorder

I have a canon HG20 with Hard Disk but premiere doesnt recognize it and so I cant import video to the organizer or directly to Get Media. Only the flash memory SD of the camera recognize the photos. Im new with premiere elements and Im not sure what it is correct to do. I hope from some help
    Thanks

Have you ensured that you have the latest version of Quicktime, per the program requirements?
When you started your Premiere Elements project, did you ensure that you selected settings that precisely match your video and audio specs? For instance, if this camcorder shoots in 1920x1080 with 5.1 audio, did you ensure that your project was set up for Full AVCHD 1920x1080 5.1?

  • Premier Pro CS4 doesn't recognize my Canon Vixia HF200

Any ideas why Premier is not recognizing my camera?

Because it's not the kind of camera Premiere needs to 'recognize'.  You don't capture from this camera, you transfer the entire folder structure to your internal hard drive first and then use Premiere's Media Browser to import the media.
