Premiere project opened - closed sequences and generating new peak files

Hey guys,
I'm working on a big project, which resides on our Drobo. I have been sorting clips and working in sequences for the last couple days now. All media was loaded fine, and peak files were generated.
When I went to open the project this morning, all of the sequences I had been working on (accept for one) had been closed, instead of opening up like how I left them. Further, Premiere is now generating new audio peak files for the project, which is taking forever. Finally, it took 25 minutes to load all of the clips (about 800 or so). They finally finished loading, but I can't start working until the peak files are finished. All in all, i've been at work for 1 hour and still can't work.
Basically, why didn't Premiere open the project as I left it last night? Closed sequences, slow load time, generating new peak files?
I'm working with footage from RED, Sony FS700, GH4, and GoPro.
My system:

Premiere Pro 8.0.1
Windows 7 (64 bit)
Intel 3770k

16 gb ram
256 gb SSD (System)

Did you by any chance unplug/replug your USB drive?
Have you gone into Windows and "locked" the drive letter?

Saved Tiffs will not open in CS2 and generate a "Could not complete your request because of a program error".
These files will often open in Photoshop 7.0.1 or in CS1 but not in CS2.
The trouble may be caused by bad dates in the EXIF data and can originate from an incorrectly-programmed digital camera; or from a scan that was created after after Jan1 of this year (because of a known bug in some scanner software).
If someone runs into the "Could not complete your request because of a program error" problem, and does not have CS1, try opening the Tiff in TextEdit.
The EXIF data is right at the top. Check the EXIF data for bad creation dates and change any incorrect ones there.
Save and close; and then the file will probably open in CS2 without a murmur.

I am trying to update ipod touch from ios 4.3.2 to ios 6.1.3. I have it connected to my computer, and the summary in itunes indicates the update is available. However, when I click "update", it opens Windows Explorer and waits for a file name to open.

I am not at that computer now, but I did check via windows update & with the check updates menu choice in the itunes program - neither indicated a newer version of itunes is available. (it is a vista computer).
The itunes software on the computer displays my ipod & the current ios (4.3.2), and indicates a newer ios is available (6.1.3). When I choose "update", I am taken to Windows Exploer and prompted to choose a file to open. it is as if the "update" button has the incorrect code attached to it.
The ipod is working, but there are several app I would like to install, but I can't with the current ooperating system.

Projects opening with Photoshop and Not Premiere?

When I get done with a file and try to go back to it it opens with Photoshop cs5 instead of Premiere Pro Cs5
Here are things I have tried to do to fix it
Right clicked it and tried to OPEN with Adobe Premeiere from the Programs menu Wouldn't work, Unclicked Always use Selected Program, But Still it didnt show up under the recommended programs...
Ive run Sypybot and Malware Programs No viruses or anything on it
tried System Restore It Didnt help Either
My Problem seems to be all of My Premiere pro Files are all associated with Photoshop it wasn't like this when I first installed it.
I went in and did a repair that didnt work either Ive been struggling with this problem for months
I then tried several Programs that was suppose to remove association type but it still has the Photoshop icon and still opens with photoshop
I don't want to run a clean install because It takes way to long so what can I do?

Save the file, and then simply double-click it. A dialog will appear asking if you want to add this information to the registry--click Yes if you do (which I assume is why you're asking). This will reassign the extension to the shell command to open a .prproj file to Premiere Pro CS5--nothing more.
Again, I accept no responsibility for this if it melts your hard drive, calls you names, and kicks you in the shin. Registry hackery is not for the faint-of-heart, but in terms of potential for mishap, this rates about a 1.2 on a scale of 10.

Project opens random sequences

Hi,
I have a documentary project with 8 sequences. I normally order the sequences (timelines) to my liking. But when I open the project it closes some and opens other sequences that I did not have open while last editing and saving the project.
This is the only project that shows this behaviour, I have others where I can open and order the sequences to my liking and they open in the same order and have the same sequences open that I last used.
Has anyone experienced this?

OK, I chatted with Adobe and after they got back to me via email, here's what they wrote:

EXPDP generates new dmp file and reports "file already exists" error

Hope you all had a wonderful holiday. I got some problems with datapump expdp 10.2.0.4. It would be appreciated if you could provide some advice. Thanks in advance.
I newly created a 10.2.0.4 database. The database can startup and be connected via Toad without problem. I can also use impdp to import some data to the new database. But when I'm trying to use expdp to export a schema from the database, I got the following errors:

Every time I run the expdp, it just creates the dmp file (expdp_scott_mfp1_12262011.dmp) specified in the parfile under the EXPORT directory and reports "file already exists " error.

Disabling reports printing and generating to a file

Can any one help me, i want a database function which disable printing and generating reports to a file where:
- i have so many reports, so i do not want to put the function inside each report source
- the printing or generating conditions varies from a user to another (authority rules)
- i have 8i database

first of all, i would like to thank you for your cooperation
i will make it clear, answering your questions:
- my reports version is 6i
- we are using an ERP calling the standard (system built in) reports and the customized also from a form (so i do not have the system built in reports source (which are so many))
- i only want the users review the reports on the screen only without printing or generating to a file (data security matter) so i want to enable these functions due to rules
- i want it as a database function because of the previous information

"Sumbit Email" button, and generating a pdf file

I would like to use the SUMBIT EMAIL button to send a pdf file of the completed form. I understand that is sends a data file, that has to be imported back into the form template on the other end.
Is there a way to autmoate this process, or jsut simply send the completed form in pdf format?

In order to email the filled-out PDF with the data in it, you need to be able to save the form.
Reader only allows you to save an empty form...if you try to save a filled-out form you will lose
all of the data you entered into it. For this reason, you need one of two options...
1) Purchase Adobe Acrobat for all of the sales people. Acrobat will allow you to save and submit a
filled-out form. The steps involved would be:
- Design your form in Designer and save it as a PDF. Set the properties on the submit button so
it will submit the entire PDF.
- Deploy the PDF File to your end users.
- End user opens the form in Acrobat.
- End user fills out the form and submits it. The filled-out PDF file will be attached to the
email.
2) Purchase Adobe LiveCycle Reader Extensions. With this product, you can reader-enable your
document so that users can submit the filled-out form with Acrobat Reader. The steps involved in

i was executing the following code block from Unix Shell Script. The following code was generating the file count_curdate.txt with all require infomrations. The query gives number of records , group by partition_dt

There is no need to re-invent the wheel. Raymond Camden has published code that converts information from a form to an Excel file. His method first converts information from a form to a query. But you can easily adapt it to your case. If you do not have direct access to the form, you will still be able to convert the XML data into the name-value pairs in the query.

Changing hostname on Callmanager 6.1 and generate new SSL

I'm looking to change the hostname of our Callmanager because of a change in the naming convention for all our servers.
Is it as easy as it seems or are there any precautions I need to be aware of?
My thoughts were to just Change hostname under Cisco Unified CM Configuration for both PUB and SUB
Since I use mostly IP address for most of my configuration, are there anything else I need to be concerned about?
Also, how do I generate a new SSL cert based on this change so admins and users won't get a certificate mismatch prompt?
