Preventing Deletion indicator in PR once work order is completed

Dear colleagues,
Users create work orders in IW31 with the choice of external service; control key is PM02. Once work order is saved purchase requisition (PR) is created in background. With reference to PR, purchase order (PO) is created by purchase specialist.
When work order is technically completed (system status TECO) deletion indicator is set to PR line item(s) automatically which result in undesirable situations since PR(s) has subject to release strategy in our system.
Is it possible to prevent setting deletion indicator in PR once reference work order is technically completed?

Hi,
In this case that behavior has negative effects on PR Workflow process because in our system when PR(s) is created it is subject to release strategy according to preconfigured conditions.
Once the order is technically completed (TECO) deletion indicator is set to PR line item(s) automatically meanwhile release strategy tab is disappeared from PR line item(s).
In addition to that in ME54N system gives the MEPO822 (Purchase requisition XXXXXXXXX cannot be released) message even PR is approved before the order is technically completed.

Hello Guys i have a question on WIP- Work Order Less Completion Form.
In the form when we enter the assemebly item and go to Components-->Lot/Serial, In Lot entry form there is a field called Lot number which has LOV and also allows user to enter his own Value what he needs.
My question is is there any controls in Oracle where we can prevent user from entering his value in the LOt number field,instead he has to select it from LOV only.
Please help me on this.

Work order less completion

Hi ,
By mistake we have performed WIP Assembly Return through Work order less completion, due to this On hand got reduced.
Could you please advice how to reverse this transaction.

Hi Ravi,
Yes, system will not allow to transact the same schedule number again. New schedule number will be generated automatically when you perform the WIP Assy Completion transaction using Work Order-Less Completions window and all the accounting entries will be balanced in the system.

Subscriber keeps reporting Work order IN completed.

We have a Zenworks 6.5sp1a site with 1 distributer and 15 subscribers on
remote site's.
One subscriber keeps reporting Work order IN completed / Receiving
distribution...... / Received magic data length = 8 . This results in a
very large TED.log, sometimes it grows to almost 2Gb. Normaly, due to
extended logging, it will be around 200Mb. 200Mb is readable by most
utilities, 2Gb will not load in an editor or it will take a while to load.
Has someone an idea what causes the multiple reports of Work order IN
completed?

Well, with loglevel set to 6 you'll get lots of messages. The workorder in
message indicates that the distributor received a responce from the
subscriber, quit notmal traffic.
Off topic: Erik If I'm right you are working for a company that has an
office in Capelle (NL), is that right? Are you working from the CPL office

Inventory transactions - Work Order Less Completions

Hi,
I am looking for some information on 'work order less completion' (WOLC) type of transaction in inventory (type of inventory transaction).

After enabling debug mode to statement level we pinpointed the problem:
The record is failing on interface completion (wip_flowUtil_priv.processFlowInterfaceRecords), when calling validateInterfaceCompletion procedure.
The exact reason is unknown because the procedure writes the error code directly into not commited record (column error_code, mtl_transactions_interface table).
It seems we are not the only one:

Undo Delete of Component Item in Work Order

In a maintenance work order it is possible to delete a component line item. The associated purchase requisition line item shows up with a deletion indicator.
Is it possible to undo the delete either on the work order or the requisition?

Hi King Fischer,
After you have released an Order, if you delete a Component or an Operation with Component and saved. You cannot re-set the deteltion Indicator.
By going to the path Edit --> Deletions --> On/Off. You can only see deleted entries but cannot re-set the same.

How to delete line item in a Work Order (only a line created in operation)

Hi,
I have created a refurbishment order to refurbish a mechanical seal at external parties. In the work order operation tab, I have created one line items for this purpose and a Purchase Requisition is generated. Suddenly, operation decided to cancel this request and I have problem to delete the Work Order and Purchase Requisition. I have tried to delete the operation line item but failed. This is the message when try to delete the line item " The last active operation cannot be deleted". Appreciate help on how to delete this Work Order and Purchase Requisition.

In Standard SAP while creating an order the short text you are specifying will automatically appear in the first operation,also in order system will ask you to enter atleast single operation ,hence it is not possible to delete the operation line ,
what you can do this either TECO the order which will clear any open PR for this
or create another operation with control key for internal activities say dummy with operation no 20 and save,then go in to order in change mode and try to delete the operation line 10 ,i think system will allow you to do that

Complete work orders without complete notifications from Overall Completion

We have a work order assigned to a notification type and we need to complete the work order from the overall completion transaction (IW42) without completing the notification when clicking on technical completion button.
Is it possible?

You can check with your netweaver team if this could be controlled from user authorizations. Do check if the following Business Transactions are available against the tcode "iw42"
PMM2     Put notification in process
PMM4     Complete notification
PMM6     Put notif. in process again

Preventive maintenance automatic creation of the Work Order

Hi,
I created a performance based maintanance plan, ans scheduled it.
When I created the measurement document that would trigger a maintanence call, I could see it in the IP10 with the status 'Scheduled Save to Call'.
Shouldnt the call object get created without any intevention? Am I missing missing any step?

Just create a background job for IP30. It will run "nightly" and evaluate the counters and their settings to determine if a maintenance order should be created. You create this job in SM37 and schedule the program RISTRA20 with a variant to run sometime during the night hours so as to not affect system performance.

i wants set price in sale order upto 50kg price is 5000RS , from 51 kg price value is 6500rs ,
After complete 50 kg system should propose second condition (pr00=6000) in ither words first condition( pr00 =5000)should expired

there is nothing to do with expiring the first condition .... it could be easily tracked into the sap system using scales ...
use t code v/06 to get into the setting of the condition type PR00. and check the scale basis... scales have to maintained in terms of gross or net weight as you want it to be dependent on the weight ...
the scale to be maintained depends on the calculation type being used by you . the calculation type for the senario that you want should be gross or net weight...
now the scale type : same in v/06 settings
your senario says that base scale has to be selected ....
to maintain the scales in the condition records (vk11) you need to double click on the record or press scales ikon ..
press it, the rest will be self explanatory.....
try it ... and award it successful...

1) I need to understand the process of deletion indicator set up on work order. i.e when can we set deletion indicator.
2) Can we set deletion indicator on open work orders or is there any way to set it.?

Hi Himanshu,
When you talk about the Deletion Flag on the work orders they will be deleted while Archival.
as the document is already created and that document can not be deleted.
so which ever orders you mark the deletion will stay in the system untill you are not archiving.
you should not set the deletion flag to the open order as it will not let you do any material movements for the.
but make sure that the Authorization is available for the
Object:I_VORG_ORD
Field:BETRVORG
Field Values as given below.
PMM8 Mark for deletion
PMM9 Remove deletion flag

Can someone tell me how to prevent an error which [The WIP work order associated with this transaction is currently locked and being updated by another user. Please wait for a few seconds and try again.Transaction processor error].
How can you prevent that error?
P.S.
Oracle support　told me [When you make data of mtl_transaction_interface, give same transaction_header_id to all data. Then, you kick worker with appointed transaction_header_id. Or, you set up being uncompatible with workers].
I cannot allow that making with same transaction_header_id and being uncompatible with worker on my system.

Undo deletion indicator - internal order

Hello,
we need to undo the deletion indicator for couple of internal orders.
We have found the SAP note 191216. There is the program ZZSTATUSDEL offered for this purpose. Is the program applicable also for internal orders?
Because, within the program the selection is performed from the table VJAUFK, which does not contain any internal order.

Single work order to release 2 operation from Task list 1 month and 6 month

Hello,
We have a maintenance plan for an equipment. It has a task list with 2 operation: Operation 0010 is 1 month interval and Operation 0020 is 6 month intervals.
Currently when the preventive maintenance plan is release, 2 work order are created for every 6 months.
Is it possible to combine the One month interval and 6 month interval task to a single Work Order?

For 1 month freq, orders will be created every month. In 6th month, order will be created with one month & 6th month operation together.
If you want to suppress one month operation while order is getting created with 6th month operation, mention higher hierarchy for 6 month freq in strategy. This means, mention hierarchy 1 for 1 month freq & 2 for 6 months freq. While both the operations are due, operation with higher hierarchy only will be taken over to the order.
I guess, this what you expect. Please confirm.
