Pricing Procedure, Pricing Type and PA and GL

Hi All,
I am an ABAPer with less knowledge about SD.
May I ask about the following:
Our client defined alot of pricing procedures for their SD. And most of the Condition Types in the pricing procedure doesn't have an account key connected with it.
1. How will I relate the Condition Type to a GL Account?
2. The Condition Type also is not mapped out to the PA value fields. How will PA pick up these condition types, to show in ke24?
- Thanks!!!

Hi
Condition types are assigned to a Pricing Procedure.
Condition types belong to a condition class and for each condition class, there is a account key.For e.g. for pricing condition class, account key would be ERL.Similarly for discount condition class, account key would be ERS and for tax class it would be MWS.
In a particular pricing procedure and for each condition type, there is a field for account key.you can assign account key to each condition type.Account key would help in posting values to G/L account.
Then in transaction VKOA,you can assign G/L accounts to combination of Condition type/Chart of accounts/sales org/account key.
Chart of accounts are for company codes and sales org is assigned to particular company code.
Reward some points if this helps you.
regards
Karan

    Hi SD Gurus,
Is it possible to have different pricing procedure at sales order level and invoice level?
if is it possible to have different pricing procedures at sales order level and invoice level could you please tell me the steps how i have to do?
    Thanks & Regards,

    Hi,
Yes you can able to map two different pricing procedure for order and invoice level
You can achieve it through by document pricing procedure and assign it in document type
In VOV8  assign document pricing procedure A for order type
in VOFA assign document pricing procedure B for billing type
    Keep customer pricing procedure common
Then in OVKK assign pricing procdures

  • MM Pricing procedure - Condition type post to different GL account in MAP

    Hi All,
We have a requirement for posting intercompany Stock transfer between Company A and B, and the transfer price will be Moving Average Price (say $ 100) + Mark up (say 25% i.e., 25) of supplying plant.
Created a new PO pricing procedure, and created a new Accrual condition type ZMRK for markup and made it statistical posting. Also in the pricing procedure the Condition type we assigned an Account key ZM1 and Accrual Key ZMA. we tried posting the Goods receipts in the receiving Company B, and it is posting the following entry :
Invetory A/C DR 125 (note: Account key ZM1 was not considered for debit account for markup)
    GR/IR A/C CR 100
    Markup Accrual A/C CR 25
REQUIREMENT: Our requirement is that the Mark-UP condition should not hit Inventory Account and should be debited to I/C Mark Up account (assigned to Account key ZM1) and entry should be as below:
    Inventory A/C DR 100
    Markup A/C DR 25
GR/IR A/C CR 125 (accrual is not required, if we can include the markup into GR/IR account)
    OR
    Inventory A/C DR 100
    Markup A/C DR 25
    GR/IR A/C CR 100
    Markup Accrual A/C CR 25
NOTE: The Material is maintained as Moving Average Price and we dont want to add the Mark Up cost into the MAP of the receiving plant.
Please check and let me know if there is a way to do a condition type in PO pricing procedure to solve the issue of not hitting the inventory posting for condition record or any other way to handle this requirement.
    Thanks in advance,
    Surya

    Hey surya,
I am also facing the same issue. Can you pls let me know whether you achieved this using any standard configuration.

  • Pricing Procedure Condition Type EK02

    Dear, Gurus
I have an MTO scenario. All is working I mean from the production order the cost is coming to my sales order in condition type EK02. But that is making all other condition types as inactive.
    current pricing schema
    Pr00 Price it is manual.
Other Z condition types which are also manual.
    Then EK02.
    Gross Sales
    K005
    K007
    Net Sales
    MWST
    ZSED Sales excise duty
    Value after Tax
    VPRS
also, at the top the net value does not change at all it stays constant and seems to pick up the EK02 price.
I want all other condition types to be manual but active even if EK02 price is picked up from Production Order.
How can I set it up to make them all green as active?

Previously all my condition types were manual entry so all were green.
    Pr00   manual
    Zman  manual
    Zsat   manual
    Zetc   manual
Also, in PR00 class is B=Prices       Calc Type = C for qty
All the ZMan, etc is A=discount/Surcharge   calc type=B fixed amount.
To be scenario all I added was condition type EK02 in pricing procedure and by standard it is in class B=prices     calc type=C for qty, and cond cat=costing
When production cost transfer to EK02 lets say example 500. All those previous cond are yellow inactive. and then net price equals 500!
In terms of my terminology and basic understanding you can only have one cond type function as price in class B=prices.
So either the EK02 or the Pr00 needs to have cond type B for Price. If I make the Pr00 a discount/Surcharge nothing changes in respect to updating the price in sales order.  Lets say even if its all corrected and I have lets say EK02 function as price the Zman and Z condition types are under discount surcharge, that at least should not be inactive?
    Please help
    thanks

  • Scaling in case of Pricing Procedure Condition Types

    Hi,
I want to maintain Scaling in Condition Types of the Pricing procedure. Please guide me to maintain it.
    Thanks & Regards
    Saeed Arif

    Hi,
If you have maintained Purchasing Info Record: In ME12 transaction go to Conditions tab. Select the Condition Type 'PB00' and click the Scales icon (F2) on top of the screen. Here, maintain the Scales.
First decide the Scale Type, Scale Basis and Validity periods for which you want to maintain the Scales. Save your changes and you can see the effect on Price, while creating the PO for the quantity mentioned as per the Scales.

  • Priceing procedure - condition type - number of units

Hi, I have a condition type in my pricing procedure. When I display item conditions for an item in a sales document I can see that my condition applies to 1000 units of measure. How do I change my condition so that the calculated amount applies to only 1 unit of measure?
    Thanks

    Hi Marko
Go to VK12 and change the  UoM . Change the UoM and maintain the base unit of measure (ex:pc) that you have maintained in MMR . Provided you have not maintained Sales unit of Measure.
Also check wheather you have maintained any alternative UoM or not and that alternative UoM has been maintained in VK12 or not
Also check in V/06 in that condition type details wheather any UoM has been maintained or not. If it has been maintained then make the UoM feild blank by removing the UoM that has been maintained in V/06 and then check

  • Which one pricing procedure&pricing type take effect?

I assign the different pricing procedures to the master data FF.and document type A respectively.
And the procedures contain multiple pricing types.
When I entry a sales document with document type A and master data FF.
which procedure and condition type would take effect? or they take place together?
    thanks

    Dear Humility,
which procedure and condition type would take effect? or they take place together?
The pricing procedure will get determine based on these combination
Sales areaDocument pricing procedure of A document typeCustomer pricing procedure of FF--->Pricing procedure.
So what is the procedure you have assigned for this combination in OVKK transaction same pricing procedure will take effect.
What are all the condition types maintained in that procedure all will take effect. But values will come based on the settings you have done for those condition types.
I hope this will clear for you,

  • Different pricing procedure in sales order and invoice

    Hi All,
I have created a new pricing procedure .When i processed it,in sales order its picking the correct PP. but when I check it in excise invoice, its taking other pricing procedure. Where have i missed the settings. Please help

    Hi,
We have document pricing procedure maintained at two levels for Sales order or Billing type.
The pricing procedure is determined based on SAles Area Customer pricing procedureDocument Pricing procedure+pricing procedure.
Example :For Sales Document type the document pricing rpocedure will be A and for billing type 'B"
    Sales Area1A+Pricing procedure A
    Sales Area1B+Pricing procedure B
Now A will be maintained in VOV8 and B will be maintained in VOFA.So two pricing procedures.

  • Freight costs in Pricing procedure and Shipment costs

What is the difference between freight costs in pricing procedure for a sales document and shipment costs in shipment documents. Arent they meant for the same thing. Why do we have to create them separately.

    hello, friend.
freight charges in the sales pricing procedure may be represented by condition type KF00 (standard).  this condition type is a surcharge to your customer, meaning there is an inflow into your company.  this surcharge may be manually entered (if configuration allows this) in the condition tabs of your sales order or this could automatically be entered if the appropriate condition records (via VK11 or VK31) have been created.
the shipment costs in shipment documents is what your company is billed or quoted by your forwarder, shipper or other transport related agent.  the shipment cost data will be used by the system to calculate and settle shipment costs.  when you have freight condition records (via TK11), purchase-vendor records and if all route/connection point/etc.  settings correct, all shipment cost data will be determined when you do shipment cost document creation.  you may also manually enter cost items, depending on the configuration.
hope this helped.  is so, will appreciate reward.
    regards.

  • What is difference between tax procedure and pricing procedure?

    Dear Gurus,
Would you please let me know the difference between tax procedure and pricing procedure?
Why it is necessary to maintain them separately?
    Thanks in advance,
    Ranjan

    Hi
    Tax procedure settings
OBBG - Assign Country to calculation procedure.
OBCO - Specify structure for Tax Jurisdiction code. For country like U.S.A.
LG -> character length of first level of hierarchy within your tax jurisdiction code structure.
LG -> Second level of hierarchy as above.
LG -> Third level of hierarchy as above.
LG -> Fourth level of hierarchy as above.
TX -> Tick if you want the system to determine taxes on a line by line basis instead of determining them on a cumulative basis
               per tax jurisdiction code.
OBCP - Define Tax Jurisdiction code
Dil -> Tick if you do not want tax amounts included in the based amount used for calculating cash discounts.
Txl -> Tick if you want the cash discount amount deducted from the base amount that is used to calculate taxes.
FTXP - Define Taxes on Sales/Purchases Code.
OBCL - Allow Tax codes for non-taxable transactions.
In MM module, pricing procedure is used during RFQ and PO creation. Total value of material based on all addition and subtraction like discount, surcharge, tax, freight, etc. In this we are defining pricing procedure and linking to vendor and purchase department through the virtual schemas.
Following steps for pricing procedure as,
    1. Define conditions.
    2. Define pricing procedure.
    3. Define virtual purchase organization and vendor.
    4. Info Record.

  • Assign pricing procedure to billing  document type

    hi
i want to have to assign a pricing procedure to my billing document type
this secanario is for stock transfer where no sales order
    only purchase order
    kindly help me

    Dear Krishna,
We don't assign Pricing Proceedure to Billing document Type. But we assign Document Proceedure to Billing Document type.
So you need to have a combination of Pricing Proceedure (sales areadocument pricing proceedure Customer Pricing procedure = Pricing procedure) where the Document Pricing Proceedure should be picked from Billing Document Type. Thus System automatically Pick the Pricing Procedure when you are creating a billing document.

  • Urgent: How to bring the same pricing procedure in reversal order??

    Hi,
We have recently implementated CIN at our client location. For the orders present in the system before CIN implementation, when we are creating the reversal orders, system is bringing the new pricing procedure with CIN condition types?
Can we bring the same pricing procedure in the reversal order as in the sales order?
    Please advise urgently.
    Regards,
    Peeyoosh.

    Dear Peeyoosh
I am unable to understand from your comments
"For the orders present in the system before CIN implementation, when we are creating the reversal orders"
Please let me know how do you reverse a sale order.  To my knowledge, we can reverse delivery and billing but not sale order.  Either we can close the sale order by assigning some reason for rejection or delete the sale order.
This being the case, please let me know why you are reversing and how you are reversing.  If you want the same pricing procedure for both normal sales and returns, then maintain the same pricing procedure for both document types.
    thanks

  • Multiple pricing procedure determination problem

    Dear Experts,
I have a situation in pricing procedure determination. Please advice. The details are given below.
Pricing procedure is determined for the combination of Sales Org,
Division, Distribution Channel, Customer Pricing Procedure and Document
    Pricing procedure.
Say there is a sale happening through following organizational units.
    Company Code: 4260
    Sales Org: 3260
    Division: 02
    Distribution Channel: D1
    Customer: 9000000
But the material is delivered from the plant that belongs to a different
    company code.
    Plant company code: 4262
The customer 9000000 has customer pricing procedure maintained as 1 in
    the customer master.
    This will create following documents
Sales order OR from 3260 to 9000000
    LF delivery
F2 invoice from CC 4260 to customer 9000000.
IV inter-company invoice from 4262 to 4260 through following sales area.Sales org: 3262
    Division: 04
    Distribution Channel: 99 (inter-company)
Here the payer is 4260 which will have a customer pricing procedure
maintained in the customer master (say 1-standard). The document pricing
    procedure is A.
The pricing procedures determined for F2 invoice and IV invoice will be
    as per the below assignment.
    3260 02 D1 A 1 PRIPRO1
    3262 04 99 A 1 PRIPRO1
The requirement is to determine another pricing procedure say PRIPROF
which is specific to formula average pricing for both the invoice types
i.e. F2 and IV. The determination will happen from below assignment.
    3260 02 D1 A F PRIPROF
    3262 04 99 A F PRIPROF
The problem here is that we can not maintain two different customer
    pricing procedures (1 and F) for a single inter-company customer 4260.
    Therefore 3262 04 99 A F PRIPROF assignment is not possible as 4260 can
either have 1 or F as Customer pricing procedure.
And 3262 04 99 A 1 PRIPRO1 assignment is already in use so we can not
replace 1 with F and change the pricing procedure from PRIPRO1 to
    PRIPROF.
Can you please advice how can we resolve the issue of having multiple
customer pricing procedure requirements for same customer to determine
    different pricing procedures?
    Thank you.

  • Pricing Procedure for diffrent unit of measure for diffrent product

    1) Existing Pricing procedure --> Condition type based on Quantity
    2) Existing Product --> Sales Unit & Base Unit of Measurement is in NOS ( Numbers )
    3) New Product ( Belt ) ---> Pricing of product based on weight
    ex :--> Rubber Belt -->   1 belt = 11.50 kg , Price = Rs. 100/ kg
As the production of material will go on weight of Belt will reduce in range of 11.50 to 11 kg . For different batch of production weight will change
every time weight of material will be calculated and price will be charged on basis of net weight ( Kg)
    4) New product is assigned to new division ( it will bw sold in new division only )
    Question
    1) What should be Base Unit / Sales Unit  of measurement ?
    2) Do we need to create new pricing procedure or existing pricing procedure will work ?
for new product  we need to create new condition type for which calculation type will be Net Weight .
    3) do we need to do any customization for this ?
Exice people say that if pricing is done in KG (Net weight ) they want to see stock in KG
Management want to see stock in KG & Numbers

May be you can Create a New Unit Of Measure called ZPC. For using ZPC you need to assign Additional Base Unti Of Measure as ZPC in your Material Masters as well.
Use ZPC to create your condition records of pricing and in Sales order you will still have Unit of Measure as PC which the management wants to see..
Similarly you can create Constion records for new product based on Kg.

  • Re:Problem in Pricing Procedure Determination

    Dear All,
I have a problem in Define Pricing Procedure Determination.
I am getting an error message " Condition Type BP04 is not in procedure ZBP04A A V".
The condition type has been copied from K007.
    Access Sequence is BP04.
In Maintain Pricing Procedure, I have selected RVAA01 and copied it as ZBP04A.
Please let me know how to rectify this error.
    Thanks,
    Amba Prasanna

    hi Prasanna,
am getting an error message " Condition Type BP04 is not in procedure ZBP04A A V".
It means in the pricing procedure ZBP04A  the condition type BP04 has not been maintained. So go to V/08, select conrtol data on the left side, click new entries and maintain this conditino type.
The condition type has been copied from K007.
You might have copied K007 but forgot to put it in the above mentioned pricing procedure.
    Access Sequence is BP04.
Also make sure that for your condition type BP04, you have maintained the access also as BP04 in V/06, since you wanted it.
In Maintain Pricing Procedure, I have selected RVAA01 and copied it as ZBP04A.
This is fine, in OVKK- no error.
