Print to PC only Printer from Win Lap. through Mac w/airport extreme?

I've got an airport extreme connected to a mac g4 via ethernet, i can't add the printer i have(a dell 1100) to the mac in the printer utility, does that mean there is no way to print to the printer wirelessly from my PC laptop. I've got the PC to see the network and internet through the base station, but i dont see the printer? The base station finds the printer but will not add it because there is no dell driver in the pull down list, and apparently that printer is not mac compatible.

there are no drivers or support for the dell printer for the mac as far as i've read. that's why i'm not sure if the xp machine will ever see it while hooked to the airport base, because the mac won't recognize it's there to add to the printer utility?
The fact that there are no Mac drivers are irrelevant, as the Airport Extreme doesn't need drivers and that is what the printer is connected to.
You can remove the Mac (throw it out of the window for example) and you will still be able to use your Airport Extreme.

Thank you everyone. I figured it out. I thought that you can use regular paper to print pictures from photos on Ipad. This is not possible. I was able to use regular print paper to print from my mail. My problem is solved!!

Printing from WIN XP to MAC OS X using Bonjour

I am trying to Print to my Powerbook using bonjour, with the printer connected to a WIN XP machine. I downloaded WIN Bonjour and installed it, but it seems as if this is more for people who have the printer connected to the MAC. Is there a way that I can keep my printer connected to my PC, and print on my MAC?
I should mention that I have a CANON i560 and that Canon's drivers for the MAC don't seem to work for the printer. I print over the network and the text is shrunk, which is a driver issue. Is there any way to make Bonjour work with my PC?

No you can't use Bonjour and the usual process won't work with the Canon drivers.

Unwanted colored lines are appearing on various sections of my printed PDF.
This Only happens from Acrobat Pro XI. The PDF prints fine from photoshop or Illustrator.
Is there a setting I need to enable/disable? I have the most current update.

Printing Form Fields only .. from Reader

I am a NEWBIE using Adobe Acrobat 8 Pro. It would be a lot easier if Reader & Pro had the same print options for printing formfields only .. but that's life.
I have created a form with interactive fields for input. However am having
difficulty having just the "form fields" only print to the preprinted form.
I have created a new button and found coding for the printparms ..

Also the "PrintParams" properties require version 6 or above of Acrobat/Reader.
One has to review the Acrobat JavaScript API for all sorts of version variations in the way Acrobat's JS object works. And the documention is not always correct.

Printing from win XP to Mac with Epson HELP!

I have the EPSON CX6600 attached via usb to My G4 Powermac. I want to be able to print from XP to the printer . .
I've tried EVERYTHING! setting up is easy XP see's the printer wheather via Bonjour or CUPS, brilliant!! I print, it goes though and appears on the Mac in the printer jobs box . . nice! but (you knew there was a but didn't you!) its goes through without printing!! it tells me its printed and the job is done, but, it didn't, I know, because the printer didn't even hum, didn't light up and dance for me . . .I'm going mad, I need a solution!! HELP!!

I'm having the same trouble with my Epson RX500 - changing the driver to Apple Color Laser didn't help. I can print a test page, but when I try to print a document, the printer blinks once and then stops, and the Print Center says the job was printed.
The really frustrating part is that it worked fine a few days ago using the HP color laser driver!

Print in PDF only Prints the first two pages

I am have been ahving problems with my creat PDF account, only printing the first two pages, when i print something to PDF from a webpage. I.E. Pinterest. It will only print the first two pages and the rest will be blank or incomplete. I am at the end of my rope and dont know how to fix it. I recently got Acrobat 9 standard thinking this may help, but the problem still exists, which irritates me more. Please help!

Thunderbird gets all suggestions for addressing from one of your address books. You have two books by default. The Personal and the Collected books. If you have sent an email to the wrong address then it will be in your collected book for sure. You need to go there and delete it and then find any other occurrences of the incorrect address and fix or delete it.

When i try to print emails, it only prints first part of email. it is not a problem with my epson printer, could it be a firefox issue or is it an issue with my service provider att/yahoo?

Problems like that with Firefox printing look like they are fixed in Firefox 4.

From iPad how do I use airport extreme to print to Epson R340

Unfortunately, it appears that your Epson is not AirPrint compatible. See the Apple support document below for more details.

It's always possible that Epson may have updated the drivers recently to allow printing directly from the iPad, so you might want to check with Epson Support to see if that is the case.
A workaround that might work is to downloand and install an application like Printopia on your Mac. There's a free trial, so you will know in about 60 seconds whether this work for you or not.
The downside to the workaround is that your Mac must be running to allow the iPad to print using Printopia.

Printing via eprint only prints in black and white, not colour

If I have a connection to my printer via USB cable or my home wireless network I can print in colour without specifying it in the print job (I.e. it appears to be the default). However, if I send a document to my printer via email using hpeprint then my documents always print in black and white.

Any help would be gratefully received coz this is driving me crazy!

No Problem! I am glad to hear that ePrint is printing in the desired color option at this point. I see you are now having an issue with color vs b&w on Cloud Print. Are you meaning Google Cloud Print? If so, are you printing using Google Cloud Print from a computer or from a mobile device?
If you are using a mobile device, then are you using the Google Cloud Print App? What is the OS type of the device? (Apple iOS, Android, Windows mobile, etc)
I can provide you with the correct steps to change these settings, but need to know the method of which you are printing.

PRINTING: Keynote will only print to a certain page # then stops

Just to get this out of the way: iWork '08/Keynote 4.0, Mac OS 10.4.10 and everything has been updated. I also looked for other strings relating but could not find any.
I have a few reports created in Keynote that will only print to a certain page. Each report prints the same page every time, but the page # differs for each report. For instance, one report will print to page 32 out of 64, another to 42 out of 70, etc...
Further, if I select the pages that were missing, they will not print at all.
I have tried different printers, networks and printers. Other programs (Word/Excel) will print in total.
Has anyone heard of this problem/have any advice?

Printing Issues: Keynote only prints first two pages of presentation

I am trying to pring an 11 page Keynote presentation on an HP 4600 color laser printer. It will only print the first 2 pages.
If I convert the presentation to PowerPoint, it prints all ages correctly. If I print a word or pages document, all pages print correctly.
What gives with keynote?

It is likely that there is something funky with one of the images on the page. The next step would be to delete the images one at a time to see which one it is. Once you have isolated it, you could try saving it in a different format (e.g., TIFF, or JPEG, or PNG), and see if that solves the problem.

I cannot print to my HP deskjet from win7 laptop through Airport Express

from control panel, i select add printer>add network printer or device>Find printer by TCP/IP address> then I'm stumped.
I'm asked for printer host name or IP address. Should I use the IP address of the airport express or what? I tried and it did not work.

I chose double sided printing and it only printed half the pages. it didn t ask me to flip them

I chose doubke sided printing on my F2280 and it only printed half the pages for me. . . . . .I didn task me to flip them round and continue and it is quite a big document to print it over again

Sometimes the wireless MagicMouse can be erratic and seem to automatically zoom in, etc. Try going to System Preferences and detuning the sensitivity settings, see if that helps.
