Printer stops after one document

My Printer works for first document sent to print, but will not print a subsequent document sent to print. The second one shows in the print queue. I have to turn the printer off and then back on to get it to resume printing. How do I fix this?

No, the PSDR is only supported on Windows Operatin systems.
I would like you to continue with the steps listed below:
Scrub/ Uninstall
• Open the Applications folder > HP or Hewlett Packard folder > HP Uninstaller
• Click continue, click on one of the printers in the list.
• * Only do this step if you do not have any other HP Printers. Hold down Control, Option and Command, While holding the three buttons down,
• Click uninstall.
Reset Printing System
1. Click the Apple icon ( ), and then click System Preferences.
2. In the Hardware section, click Print & Fax/Scan. The Print & Fax/Scan dialog box opens.
3. Right-click (or Ctrl +click) in the left panel, and then click Reset printing system…
4. Click OK to confirm the reset.
5. Type the correct Name and Password.
6. Click OK to reset the printing system. The Print & Fax dialog box shows no printer selected
Note: This will remove all printers in the print and Fax/Scan, any printer removed can be re-added later by clicking the plus (+) symbol..
Repair Disk Permissions
1.On the Dock, click Applications, and then click Utilities.
2.Double-click Disk Utility.
3.Highlight your hard drive/partition on the left (by default this is "Macintosh HD").
4.Click the Repair Disk Permissions button at the bottom of the window.
5.Once the repair is complete, restart the computer.
Restart the printer. Now you can download and install the printer software and install it. Click on the link below to begin the download and follow the on screen instructions:

Quit all other programs and open Disk Utility
Select your "MacintoshHD" drive on the left and indented and click Erase > Erase Free Space > Zero and let it complete.
Also run First Aid > Repair Disk and permisisons.
If Repair disk gives a error, you have a bigger problem, if repair permisisons fixes and completes, even if it fixes the same thing twice if you click it again, it's ok. Apple just changed things.
You should be able to download the file sucessfully this time, if not, take it to another location with better/faster internet.

This might be able to be done through PLD.
1. Go to the Print Layout Designer.
2. Choose document type relevant to the report that you are going to
print.
3. Save template with new name if you are using a system default.
4. Open the template and go to Print Layout Designer > Display Document Properties > Paper Format tab.
5. Set the 'Number of Copies' to 3.
6. Save the new template and set it as default.

C7280 - printing more than one document at a time

Does anyone know a quicker way of scanning in (using the feeder) several different documents at a time, as opposed to different pages of the same document. At the moment, I seem to have to exit too far out of the software at the end of each doc'.
This is what I'm doing:
a) select SCAN DOCUMENT
b) select file format ie PDF
c) If document loaded on feeder, printer takes however many pages in the tray and scans into one document.
d) On pressing Finish, question comes up asking whether you'd like to add another page to the document. If you press Yes - it simply adds it the exisiting document being scanned and if you press No, it saves the existing document but exits right out taking you right back to the home page which then remains greyed out for a while until, the previous document has been saved.
Very appreciative of a time saving irritation lessening answer!! :-)

Yes You can upload more than one document ...
Please do the following :
1. Click on upload files button under Acrobat.com
2. A pop will open .
3. Select more than one file by keeping the CTRL button pressed.
4. Once, you select all the files , Click on Open ...
It Will Start uploading all your files ...!

Will only print or scan one document

When I print or scan something it will work perfectly fine for one document. Then if I try again it won't work until I reboot the machine.
Is there a reason why it won't stay connected?
It shows up on the computer and and it's connected through wifi, but always has full signal.

Please let me know some more important information and I will research some troubleshooting options for you to try:
What is the printer model you have? How Do I Find My Model Number?
What is the Operating System on your computer? Which Windows Operating System am I running?
Mac OS X: How Do I Find Which Mac OS X Version Is on My Computer?
How is the printer connected? USB, Ethernet or Wireless
What troubleshooting steps have you tried already?
When you scan, what is the exact error message you see? (Include a screen shot if possible)
In the meantime, try a reset and ensure the printer is plugged in directly to the wall outlet, avoiding power bars and surge protectors. This ensures the printer is receiving full power and may help greatly.
Press the Power button to turn on the product.
With the product turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the product.
Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
Wait at least 15 seconds.
Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the product.
If the product does not turn on by itself, press the Power button to turn it on.

Apple TV stops after one song

Hi All,
I recently bought my Apple TV (3rd gen) and have the most recent update (5.2). I also have the most up to date iTunes (11.0.1). The thing is that when I want to enter the library on my laptop (windows 7) Apple TV freezes after one song. It loads the next song but then stops. I still can go back in the menu, but the connection with the library is lost.
I also have a desktop computer (windows 7) running with a different iTunes library, and when i stream music from that library everything works fine. So my guess is that there is something wrong in the laptop (ACER Travelmate). I tried loads of things but they all do not seem to work:
- switched off windows firewall
- switched off IP/V6
- reinstalled the bonjour software
- reinstalled the itunes software
- I use a TP-link router with up to date firmware
Any ideas what might cause this problem? Is there maybe any other software that could be blocking my connection?

I have the same problem. I think it is disgusting that nobody at Apple has responded to your post. I see no evidence that Apple cares about this bug, which renders Airplay (on Apple TV) useless.

Playlists stop after one song

I am having a problem where my playlists stop playing after one song in Itunes. This does not happen in my IPOD lists just Itunes.
I ran the setup and repaired - same problem
Reinstalled - same problem.
Deleted playlists and created new ones - same problem.
Highlighting several songs and playing - prob remains.
Any help would be appreciated. If it is a settings issue, not sure why it doesn't affect the IPOD songs played through Itunes. Only the Itunes playlists stop playing.
Appreciate any help.

Stopping songs from automatically stopping after one play

Hey guys,
After doubleclicking a song on the playlist, the song plays but then instead of playing another song stops showing the apple logo. This happens no matter if the songs are played in libary, playlists or party shuffle or if songs are highlighted. How can we rectify this so each song plays after one another?

hmmmm. are all the little checkboxes to the left of your tracknames unchecked? (that can produce the symptoms you're reporting.)
to check all (or uncheck all) your songs, hold down Ctrl and click on one of the boxes.

Queue based printing stopped after 6.5 upgrade

I had several print queues sitting on vol1 of a server, and after I upgraded
the server from Netware 6.0 to Netware 6.5 we lost access to them. Now when
I try to do a capture to that printer queue, I can click on browse and find
the queue, but when I click on capture it says "The queue could not be
found. Make sure you typed the path correctly and try again."
I then tryed to create a new queue, but I get the same problem... I can't
capture it. I tried createing a new queue on some of my 6.0 server and got
the same thing. I finally created a queue on one of my clustered volumes,
and that works.
I would like to be able to create a print queue on vol1 of my 6.5 server.
Any idea how to get this to work again?

Printing error after securing documents

Hi - I'm wondering if anyone else has come across the problem I'm having printing large PDF files (>300 pages) after they have been secured. When the document is sent to the printer I get an error part way through the spooling such as 'insufficient data for an image.' I'm securing the files using Acrobat X Pro.

I understand you are in an error state with your printer. You are being told to reinstall and remove the cartridges to fix the issue.
I have looked all over the website for the Deskjet F4800. I can not find it, are you sure that this is the model that you are using? If so please attach a picture and some information about it.

Import stops after one or two songs

I'm having an odd issue with importing a CD. The process seems to start OK, but soon stops silently (ie with no error message) shortly after the process starts. I've tried this with multiple CDs and have had the same result.
This also happens when I try to play a CD. I'll choose a track, it'll start playing, but then just unexpectedly stop for no apparent reason. After a few minutes this last time, iTunes crashed.
We're getting iPhones here next month and I'd like to be sure I can clear this up before then.

I have the same problem, always have with iTunes. Been searching online for a solution, but haven't found one yet. (Usually the CD disappears from the iTunes screen, then eventually reappears.) It generally happens if I toggle over to another program while the import is running. Extremely annoying.
I just went and made sure iTunes was the default program for .cda files, but that hasn't helped.
I generally wind up using my old Musicmatch Jukebox to do the import, because it's faster and smoother. (But its CD lookup doesn't always work.)
Basically, the only way I can rip a CD in itunes is to leave it on top until the import is done. Which is ridiculous.

Stop after one podcast episode

I subscribed to podcasts and sometimes keep 40-50 of the episodes. Often, I'll go back
to selected episodes to listen a second time; I do this while falling asleep. If I don't hit stop
it will automatically go to the next episode and the next, and so on.
Is there a way to get have my ipod touch stop and go to stand by mode after the current episode
is finished?

unfortunately this feature seemed to be removed by apple during an update. while i personally quite like the 'rolling' feature, i agree, there are times when i only want to listen to one.
you need to send apple feedback about this. the more people that do it the more likely they are to fix it. http://www.apple.com/feedback/ipodtouch.html
in the mean time, you could create an on-the-go playlist with the podcast on.
OR you can use the clock timer feature which will put your ipod to sleep after a certain amount of time.

Itunes stop after one track

I us Itunes foar years now but now I have a problrm : each time i play a track it stop a the end without getting to the following one, even in the playlists.
I tries to throw the preferences, but the problem keep on annoying me.
I tries also to search on google but without success. Am i alone to know it ?

Are there check marks beside all the songs? Unchecked songs have to be clicked on individually to play them, checked songs will play one after the other. Hold down the Command key (⌘) and click on the check box beside any song in a list and the check marks will be toggled on or off: iTunes for Mac - Keyboard Shortcuts

IPad Dictation stops after one minute

When I dictate a message on my iPad the connection is cut after a short period ranging from 30 seconds to 1 minute. Is that due to heavy traffic at Apple's end or do I have a wifi or Internet problem on my end?

I think I have at least a partial solution. Restart your iPad. i was only getting 3 to 5 seconds before the microphone turned all purple and stopped recording. After a full restart I got about 25 or 30 seconds before it automatically translated. For example right now I've written all of this second third and fourth and fifth sentences with one recording.
But, BUT-after just two or three hours of using my iPad heavily, the recording time went back down to two or three or four seconds. I then had to do another restart.
When I restarted this time I went in manually and shut down each application that was showing in the bottom bar area. I then re-restarted the iPad.
30 seconds is really more than enough recording time. But 2, 3, 4 or 5 seconds is really very insufficient. Why is this recording time changing? For the first five weeks I used it, it didn't change. Now it seems to be going down quickly.
Is it possible that having 40 or 50 programs loaded is causing this? Is it possible that having nearly 300 programs on the iPad is causing this?
And that brings up a good point: on the bottom bar when you clich the home button twice and then hold an app to cause the small x's to appear in the upper left corner, you can only shut down one program at a time. So you start from the upper left in the bar which is exhibiting seven programs at one time, the you click and you click and you click and eventually all seven are closed and seven more appear and you close them 1 at a time. ANYWAY TO CLOSE ALL APPS AT ONCE? I can easily have more than 50 programs "open" or is that "active". Will shutting all these programs down give me more recording time? Right now this is recording very well. This entire paragraph was done on just two recording sessions.
Any and all feedback really appreciated. In the past four weeks I've hardly ever use my external Bluetooth keyboard-because I dictate everything.
