Printing all text in a multi-line text field?? Can it be done?

I was wondering if there is a way to print out a multi-line field and have all text entered print as well. Currently, anytime someone enters more information in a multi-line text field on our form than is set to show without scrolling, when a PDF is created for printing from the results page, only the text that fits within the specified size prints. You can scroll within the PDF and read it all, but I can't seem to figure out how to get all of the text to show and have that field resize accordingly on the printed copy.

Multi line custom field badly saved to database

Hello community,
we're fighting currently against a strange issue.
All projects has some multi line custom fields to fill every week for project status.
During this exercise, some of the comments seems not well saved to database.
While coming back to the PDP, we are seeing a strange behavior :
Starting from that, I tried to look in the database and the saved html format is badly formatted, you can see a </div> in the middle and a missing one at the end of the sentence:
<div>Révision et approbation de l'ODS de Facilité.</div> <div> </div></div> <div>Compléter le questionnaire à soumettre aux experts.</div>
<div> </div> <div>Présentation et choix des experts.
As of now, we did not find any reason why this is happening.
While opening back the PDP in edition and saving back ,the problem is solved.
This is annoying because we are treating the html code as xml for reporting as seen here (http://aboutmsproject.com/converting-rtf-to-text-in-sql-revisited/
) and this is crashing because of badly formatted html code
any advices?

I've seen this issue occur when text is pasted into the field from other applications, like Outlook and Word. I've not yet been able to determine how to get it to stop. The error then causes the invalid XML issue you are seeing. A former co-worker had successfully
integrated the use of jQuery into PDPs. I'm wondering if they have a HTML clean function.

Printing all text in a dynamic scrollable textfield

I have search alot about solutions for solving the problem
about trying to print all text in a dynamic Scrollable Text. There
is no answer for this. So, is there a simpel way to print all the
text in a dynamic scrollable textfield?
Because the text is dynamic, there is possible that the text

If they are still stored on your phone, with the BB you may be able to print them; if not natively, you may be able to download an app that will do that. Offhand, I'm not familiar with one, but google may help. -The iPhone may have an app that will allow this as well. Two to three YEARS? That' s a lot of texting!!

How can I copy or print all text highlights in Adobe Reader for Android?

I read many tech books as pdfs. And highlight the parts I want to note.
Since I am now reading them on an Android Tablet using Adobe Reader for Android, I need to find a way to move my highlights to a separate doc when I am done reading. I don't see instructions for this anywhere.
How can I copy all text highlights at once from a document?

Amazon, but not with personal docs (such as pdfs) that I import, unfortunately.

Printing All text as black

Hi,
I don't know if it's Mac or it's HP but I would appreciate to have the possibility to define the printing preferences for my HP printer (LaserJet M1132 MFP) as I can do it in Windows. Would there be a trick to print all text as black?

File > Print then select Black & White.

We are using Adobe Acrobat Reader, version 11.0. It's on a relatively new laptop (Windows 8) and accessing the internet through Mozilla. The printer is an HP Officejet. When I open a multi-page Adobe document and try to print all pages, I only get 1-2, have to then say print page 3, then say print page 4, etc. We use Adobe on our other laptop and it prints all pages of all Adobe documents and we have never had a problem and he accesses documents on the internet also through Mozilla.

I'm getting nothing when the required fields are not filled in, which I rather expected. However, when all fields are filled in I am still getting no response from the button. The mailDoc bit of code is working fine with no other code attached, but every attempt at validating the form's required fields is causing trouble.
A thought occurs to me (I'm new at JS coding), but this code is referencing EVERY field in the document, right? This would mean I should get no result even if the non-required fields are filled out (if my understanding is correct). Can this code be modified to only apply to required fields? Thanks for the help in getting this far.

Firefox cuts off the URL in your printout, if it's really long, and you also have on the same line (header or footer), the Date and Pages

I have two questions:
To fix, do a custom setting, for the Header and Footer as follows:
Print / Page Setup / Margins & Header/Footer / "Customize" the "Left" as follows (leave Center and Right all blank)

To change the format of the Short date in Win 8.1, go to:
Control Panel / Date and Time / Date and Time tab / Change date and time / Change calendar settings /

QUESTIONS:
1.) How do you get rid of the time, which appears after the date? In IE, you use a lowercase "d" - but that doesn't work here.
2.) Is there a way to change the font just for the Header and Footer, to something like Microsoft Sans Serif 10?
Firefox leaves no room around the text in the Header and Footer at the edge. To fix:
Address Bar / about:config
Enter keyword "edge"
Then change all four values for the printer you're using to:

How do I get a text box to expand by user and print all text?

I am creating a form in Adobe Live Cycle Designer that was converted from a Word file that contains many text boxes. I would like the text box to expand to accomodate each user's text in edit mode. When the form is printed - all the entered text should print. Even though I set the text box to allow multiple lines, all the user sees when they print is a box with just a couple of lines and a red + in the corner indicating that there is more text. There must be a work around? I am not very proficient in this software so would love someone to give me the necessary steps. Thanks.

Printing all text inside the scrollbar in Text Field -Adobe Form

I'm creating a form in Adobe Designer 7.0 with a Text Field that allows the user to enter as much information as they want. How do I set it to so that when the form is printed all the information that's entered also prints? Right now it only prints what's visible on the text box that I've defined. I have set the Text Field to Allow Multiple Line and Expand to Fit.

Sure, you could do that fairly easily with just a bit JavaScript. It would have to be done by someone with Acrobat who receives the filled-in form. The text from the fields could be extracted and placed in a text file attachment that you create with JavaScript, and then extract the file attachment.

For this, you can specify just the fields you want to include, so you don't have to bother with all of the fields in the form being included.

2110 all-in-one not printing all text in documents

My printer has stopped printing all parts of documents. It just seems to skip certain parts of word documents, excel spreadsheets, pdfs, etc. And, if I print the same document more than once, different parts of the document will print, but never the whole thing.

I am not sure if you have the F2110 Deskjet All-in-One or the PSC2110 All-in-One, but I think the solution would be the same for either one.
It appears that you might have low ink in your black cartridge. You might want to check ink levels and see if it is low black ink.

HP LaserJet Pro 400 prints highlighted text fields, instead of turning off highlights

I have an electronic medical record with highlighted fields which I fill in. When printing, every other printer only prints the text but not the highlighted background. Unfortunately, the HP laserjet prints the gray background. How do I turn that off?

I have check boxes that show and hide text fields. (Thanks to Gilads Java script). In options I have a default value for each text field.
My "Total" Field field adds all fields even if they are not checked and visible. Need to have it only include them if they are checked and visible.

You can't attach forms by email, or any other means, so it didn't come through.
Since your fields have default values and aren't calculated based on the state of the corresponding check box, you will have to use a custom calculation script for the Total field that can check to see if any of the fields are hidden, and if so, don't include their values in the sum. For example:

Make all text fields read only after signing form

Hello,
I have a live cycle form which needs to have all of the text fields set as read only after signing.
The java script has been placed in the post sign event of a digital signature field.

After signing the form the following console error is shown:

Can anyone please advise how to revise the script so that when the form is signed all of the text fields become ready only?

You don't need any JavaScript to do this.
In Designer you can setup the signature field in that way, that all fields will be locked after signing.
