Printing excel grid lines

I just installed an HP All-in -One Desket printer, Envy 3350.  I downloaded the software from the WEB as instructed. When I print an Excel spreadsheet with print grid lines selected, only everyother horizontal grid line is printed.  All vertical grid lines print as expected.  I have Windows Vista Home Premium as my operating system.  I had no such issue with my previous DELL printer.  I suspect there is a selection in one of the set-up options that needs to be checked/changed.  I have tried to find such an option, but have not been successful.  Any suggestions??

  • Printer does not print all grid lines of EXCEL sheet

Running Micrsoft Vista.  When printing an EXCEL sheet that has gride lines, the ENVY 5530 printer only prints some of the lines.

Hello , and welcome to the HP Forums! I see you're having issues printing from Excel.  I would like to help! Do you have any issues making a copy? I'd recommend starting with a power reset.  Disconnect the power cord from the printer and the power outlet, then wait 60 seconds. After 60 seconds, plug the printer back in. Ensure you plug the printer directly to a wall outlet. Make sure to bypass any sort of surge protector or power bar.
I would also recommend downloading and running the HP Print and Scan Doctor. Good luck and please let me know the results of your troubleshooting steps. Thank you for posting on the HP Forums!

  • Printing iCal grid lines...?

    Hello.
I would like to print my weekly calendar with the grid lines showing.
Is there a way to do this?
    Thank you.

    Hi Jack,
I'm sure anyone who actually knows details of iCal in Leopard is not allowed to say.
Currently you could have 3-4 categories in different colors, but when you publish to the web/.Mac they are all in the same color
I currently publish three seperate calendars to a Webdav server and use PHPiCalendar to view them. They all show up as separate individually coloured calendars.
I'd submit your suggestions as user feedback if I were you.
    Best wishes

  • Printing Horizontal Grid lines while Printing

    Hi,
I am using the ALV to print some data, where in after printing I am able to see only the vertical grid lines and not the horizontal grid lines between each row. can somebody throw inputs on this as how to acheive the same. will appreciate for quick responses.
    Jagath.

    Hi,
I guess Sorting should help you to print Horizontal lines.

  • Printing Grid Lines

Anyway to print the grid lines in iCal better than they currently print?

The gridlines are just for showing where the cells are, they do not print. You need to add borders around the cells. Borders will print.
The basic table style in the Blank template has borders already. The "basic (no grid)" table style does not have borders. Out of curiosity, how did you arrive at a table with no borders?

  • Smartform main window with grid lines...

    Hi Gurus,
I am printing the line items in the main window using grid lines of pattern. This main window can print 10 lines only. Here my requirement is i need to get the empty grid lines till the window ends after finishing the printing of all line items.
for example if it has only 2 lines then i need 2 lines of data and remaining 8 lines should print empty grid lines.
this table control have 14 columns. some times 2 lines of data occupies 3 lines. because any column value may be morethan of column width. for this type of example i have to print empty lines 7 only. because any item line occupied 2 lines.
    hope it is clear.
    Regards,
    Vijay

    Hello Vijay,
In order to do this you could make a template(the outlines of your layout). This template must be in the main window, so if there are more than 11 lines the complete template will be printed in the second page.
If you require a total box at the end of the template then make a new window fill only the value and the total will always be printed in the box..
Let me know if the solution is not clear. I shall explain in more detail.

  • Taking download into excel from ALV Grid - header is printing in two lines

    Hi All,
I have a scenario where I am taking the download from ALV grid to an excel sheet. Now the header of the ALV (column names) is appearing in two lines in the downloaded excel sheet while items (records of the ALV table) are getting displayed in a single line.
This download is taken from the standard download to local file (spreadsheet) button provided by SAP for ALVs.
I am using function module "Reuse_alv_grid_display" for the purpose.
Can somebody provide an idea how I can avoid the header printing in two lines and keep the length as it is.
    Thanks in Advance,
    Chandan

    Hi..
    1. Pass header name in internal table appned first line.
    2. after that pass u r data .
    3. Use  FM. WS_DOWNLOAD

  • When I have a border around a group of cellsand remove it, it also removes the grid lines. When I go to print the sheet, there are blank spaces where the border had been. I'm sing a MacBook.

When I have  a border around a group of cell, how do I remove it. If I outline the cells again and then show in the Inspector NO BORDER, it removes not only the borderbut when I go to print it also the grid lines.

What application are you using? Numbers? Excel? Something else?

  • Grid lines on excel sheet

HP Officejet j4550 All-In-One does not print all of the grid lines on my excel document. I have downloaded driver and updates with no results. I am on Windows 7 32 bit. What's next???

Hi - Do you see the gridlines in print preview?  If not, it is most likely a setting in Excel.  If the gridlines do show up in print preview, it sounds like the driver and Excel aren't getting along.  At that point, click on Page Setup and the Sheet tab and make sure that Gridlines is checked under the Print heading.
If that doesn't take care of it, I believe there is also an OJ J4550 driver that comes with Win 7 (go into "start" (or equivalent in Win7), printers and add a printer.  You should be able to find HP and a list of HP drivers that come with Windows.  This might provide a workaround.
    Hope that helps.

  • How to print a report without row numbers or grid lines?

Is there a way to print a Discoverer report without row numbers or grid lines?
    Thank you.
    Blake

    Hi Blake
    You're not doing anything wrong.
The settings made when you use Tools | Options | Sheet are global settings that are only applied to new workbooks and worksheets going forwards. These have no impact on existing worksheets or even the one you currently have open. This is because Discoverer does not know whether your original worksheets were setup in a certain way deliberately as opposed to inheriting the global settings as they were at that time. What this also means, reading between the lines, is that these settings must then be stored within the worksheet itself, and this is exactly what happens.
Thus, to edit an existing worksheet's settings you need to open the worksheet, right-click in the sheet and from the popup select either Format Table or Format Crosstab depending upon the type of worksheet you are working with. After making any necessary changes you will need to save or re-save the workbook in order for those settings to be remembered for the next time.

  • Problem removing grid lines from prints in PhotoShop Elements 13

I cannot remove faint grid lines from my prints in Photoshop Elements 13, even after I've turned off the grid overlay. How can I get these lines out? I'm desperate as I am writing a book and am stymied at this point. Help!

The grid does not print. There has to be another source for the visible grid lines on your prints. Suggest that you do the following:
Make sure that your ink cartridges have plenty of ink
Do a deep cleaning of your print head
Align the cartridges as per instructions in the printer's manual
    Do a test print

  • Grid line problem with linked Excel files

I am trying to import and Excel spreadsheet to InDesign, but even when I clear grid in Excel it is still imported with grid lines.  I can't figure out how to clear them off while still having the spreadsheet correctly linked. This seems like an issue with a simple solution (I hope), I just don't normally need to use Excel for anything :/
    Any ideas? thanks

Is this grid blue? Does it disappear when you switch to Preview Mode, and doesn't it show in an exported PDF?

  • How do I get the Grid lines to show on the printed sheet in numbers?

When I print out a page from Numbers the Grid lines do not appear.  What do I need to do to correct this?

Add them in using the border formatting tool.  select the table:
    Then open the formatter:
    Now do the following:
    1) select the border style
    2) select the border weight
    3) select the border color
    4) select which borders

  • Remove grid lines when printing

I am trying to print a set of financial statements and do not want to see the grid lines when printing the final document. I cannot work out how to do this.
Some posts I have read say that grid lines are described as cell borders and suggest that they can be removed using the inspectors "cell borders " facility.
I have tried to do this but cannot make it happen. If I were to successfully remove the borders/grid lines then surely this would also remove the underlines I have inserted with great effort.
I would really appreciate anyone's help with this

One more time, it's useful to use our brain before stating a task.
If I read well, you used some cell borders as an underline segment.
Now you pay the result of a bad design.
You have no way to remove only borders which aren't "underlining" ones.
Next time think before and use the Underline text attribute so you will be able to remove the grid easily.
I know that some spreadsheets have two structures :
    grid
    borders
But, those which took time to read the User Guide know that in Numbers there is a single structure :
    borders.
So, remove or hide grid means remove or hide borders.
When we work with a tool, we may ask it what it is designed to do, not what we guess it will be able to achieve.
