Printing for Microsoft Excell on HP Pro 8620

Just installed my new Printer (HP pro 8620) and everytime I go to print anything using microsoft excell,it starts to print and then quickly says "Caneling Printing"on the screen of my Printer..Why?

I understand you installed your HP Officejet pro 8620, but you cannot print from Microsoft Excell, and I am happy to help you with this printing issue!
There could be a number of reasons why it will not print. But I am sure we can figure it out!
For further assistance, I will need to know the following:
If you are using a Windows or Mac Operating System, and the version number. To find the exact version, visit this link. Whatsmyos.
If the printer is able to make copies.
If the printer is connected, Wireless, Ethernet, or USB.
If the power cable is plugged into a surge protector, or directly to the wall outlet. Issues when Connected to an Uninterruptible Power Supply/Power Strip/Surge Protector. This applies to Inkjet printers as well.

    Hi BW people,
    Since we want to modify our reports for printing (and the How-To about enhancement of web printing does not really answer to our requirements) it seems that the Excel alternative is just what we were looking for.
    Unfortunately I have been working with these classes for 6 hours now to get a very simple Excel file, but without success. I did fix the bug like Thomas Kauffman told on the forum, changed the dataprovider and prefixes and I followed every single step of the How-To document(also the check of folder options to open/save the .xls file),... The only thing that happens: the URL has changed (bookmark) and the page is reloaded again.
    So no Excel file, neither a dialogue box. I also walked -a very long time- through the code (in debugging mode) starting from ZCL_RSR_XLS_HELP_WINDOW_PRINT->PROCESS_CMD but I can't find anything!
    Is there anybody with the same problem and -better- with a possible solution to it?

  • How To... We Printing with Microsoft Excel in 7.0 / 2004s

    We implemented the How To... Web Printing with Microsoft Excel in BW 3.5.  We have upgraded a test box to 7.0 ( 2004s ) and the functionality is no longer working.  We have buttons in our web templates which call the help service and when they are clicked nothing happens.
    An example of the code we are using is:

    Have other folks successfully continued to use this functionality in 2004s?  I know that formatted printing is an option in the new version but we intend to do a technical upgrade first and subsequently leverage this new functionality.

    Thanks for the help.  I didn't think that there would be an SAP note for the How To but note 995142 has the exact changes required.  Thanks for pointing that out.

  • Issue with "Web Printing with Microsoft Excel"

    Hi All,
    I have implemented the "Web Printing with Microsoft Excel". It worked fine. But to get a effect in the background color I have saved the  "BWReports_Excel_print.css" as test.css & made some changes to test.css. Then used transaction ICM Monitor(SMICM) to reset the SAP Web Appilication Server Cache. Also provided the respective link for test.css in the web template.
    But now the print is not working. Any idea???. I have also reverted back the link to
    "BWReports_Excel_print.css" in the web template.
    Still no solution.
    Need a urgent feedback.

  • How to... Web Printing with Microsoft Excel

    Hi All,  I am working with a client that is trying to get "Web Printing with Microsoft Excel" to work in their specific scenario.  They are on 2004s and trying to get this "Web Printing with Microsoft Excel" to work with 3.5x Web Templates, but can't seem to get it to work.
    The How To paper (Version 1.0 April 2005) is specific to NW '04 and below so I'm not sure if it's supported in our 2004s environment. 
    Does anyone know if this "Web Printing with Microsoft Excel" scenario should still work for us in our 2004s environment?  If so, do you have an example template you can provide or any insight for us?

    I have downloaded the Add-In for Microsoft Excel from:

    unzipped it successfully (66 files created)
    searched for messages and updates  (No notifications.)
    and I get a screen reading:

       No software will be installed or removed.
    The "Next" button is grayed out, leaving "Save File" "<<Back" and "Cancel"
    Does anyone have a suggestion why I am unable to go any further?

    Are you sure it hasn't been installed before? Under Control Panel...Programs and Features...National Instruments Software...do a "Change/Remove" and look down the list for "NI TDM Excel Add-In verX.XX". If found, uninstall and re-run the installer for the newest version.
    This might help as well.

  • Not able to download S&OP Add-In for Microsoft Excel

    Hello Folks,
    I have been trying  to download the  S&OP Add-In for Microsoft Excel but its not just getting downloaded. I am not able to see the S&OP in the excel ribbon. Any help would be appreciated. Let know if any info is needed from my end.

    2) As there are new Add-on's several times a year, you should efford to check with your administrators that you get the required authorizations, or that they provide always the latest version to you with other means, e.g. by putting the file in the company - internal "shopping-basket"
    3) When installing was successfully, but you dont get it displayed, than go to Excel (I have Excel 10, so the path might be slightly different for you)
    --> ribbon "file"
    --> "Option"
    ==> you get a new window, here:
    On the left choose "Add-Ins"
    --> than on the right side bottom-left you will find "Manage"
    --> choose "COM-Add-Ins" and press "Go..."
    ==> you get a new little window popped up. Here your "S&OP Add-In for Excel" should appear and flagged :
    If that does not appear, you installatoin was not successful and you have to repeat

    Advance Analysis is only for micorsoft excel. You can check with your contact at SAP (TQM / Sales Representative) to check other solutions to have analysis on Web.
    For the Analysis Office the only way to have informations at the web is like described at the latest reply.

    Hy at all, i have this problem:
    i save a workbook on infoview and when i open it , the Addin Advanced Analysis for Microsoft Excel doesn't appear.
    This scenario occurs despite the value "3" on registry of this setting: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\Excel\Addins\SBOP.AdvancedAnalysis.Addin.1.

  • SAP Gateway for Microsoft excel

    Hi ,
    I want to create Purchase order data from excel . I have PO header and Item as entity in gateway services . I have associated POHeader with PO Items and declared navigation in SEGW. I have implemented method CREATE_DEEP_ENTITY.
    While binding the gateway services, it just bind the header fields and i don't have provision to pass on the item fields . My requirement is to bind  PO Header and Items together in excel and call the create_deep_entity method so that PO with item is created together in single payload.
    In my  case i am able to bind either header or Item data and it search for create_entity method and throw error.
    Does excel support Deep Insert ? Can we create Hierarchical data using GWPAM excel.

    Hi Florian,
    it is up to you: the Gateway for Microsoft Excel add-in does support both $batch and the single updates. If the underlying OData service supports $batch then this will certainly boost performance if you do mass update operations.
    ... and you are right: GWM keeps track on the records which have been changed (updated, deleted or created)

    As you know business always loves to work in excel and if we offer this possibility they are going to appreciate it very much.
    We have already perform PoC for the excel frontend in out business scenario and looks really positive. At the same time, I will also say that there is still big room for improvement for SAP. SAP is already coming with better excel front end but only with IBM demand solution.
    so going back to our topic, I would say surely you should go for it. It would be really great if you have data view with less or minimum key figures should be exported to excel where business require to update or maintain key figures. If I am correct, I think you are unable to use it for aggregate forecasting or you have default macro´s to be execute immediately.
    In summary, it´s worth to explore the option to see if it works for your business. I am sure business users will be very much happy with this.

                          I have documentation, transport request # K903271.QB8  &  R903271.QB8 for Web Printing with MC Excel.  But basis guy he want OSS note #, so that he can import requests.
                          How to find the OSS note related to transport req. I already searched in SDN, and market place but no luck. Please some give me the OSS note.

    Hi,
    Just to give you some information on transport,
    Once the objects are collected in the TR, you need to release the task and then the Main request (TR) in DEV.
    In QA, Go to STMS, Go to Transport icon -> select you system -> Select you requests -> Then click on the truck icon it will prompt for you target client -> go to 3rd tab and then give your options (most of the cases , it is overwrite mode). Then click "OK", they will be imported.
    Note :STMS is used to perform the actual migration of the transport from the source system to the target system but in se09/10 you can only release the transports not perform the actual migration
    And only released transports will show up in STMS queue
    I dont know what is the OSS note your basis guys are talking about.
    may be it is specific to the documentation transport. Please check with them clearly.
