Printing from folder multiple pages documents

we have 100 or so addresses each on seperate pages . when we send our monthly statements we open each one one at a time and click command print -enter 100 times to get them on seperate invoices that fit our accounting peg board. is there a way to select all pages in a folder and have them printed without opening each manually and individually? would save alot of time

You could select all the files in a Finder window, then click on File > Print.

It depends on the software you are using, what is it ? In general you can select a range or just a number of pages.

I wrote multiple pages documents and stored them in a directory. That is nice, but now I want to transfer them all into pdf files.
Is there a way to do this or do I have to open them one by one an select "Print" and so on??

Pages 5 has virtually no AppleScript support so it would be difficult to even make an Automator workflow to do what you want.
So yes you will have to make a pdf of each one. Be warned that Pages 5 stuffs up links after the first pages of pdfs.
Apple has removed almost 100 features from Pages 5 and added many bugs.

Pages '09 should still be in your Applications/iWork folder if you had it previously.
Archive/trash Pages 5, after Exporting your files to Pages '09, and rate/review it in the App Store, then get back to work.

Printing Problem - Incomplete multiple page print job - until paper runs out

I'm on Mac OS 10.9.3 printing to a Samsung CLX-6250FX. This is a network printer used by all the Apple/Window computers in this office.
I am having terrible problems recently with printing multiple page documents - excel, word, email, pdf etc. I am spending a fortune in paper and printer cartridges.
The print job does not complete and the last page printed, the following message prints:
ERROR: syntaxerror
OFFENDING COMMAND: true cvt Tfpgm nglyf ' ^ head
STACK:
-mark-
/sfnts
Then the same printer job restarts and fails at the same point until the printer tray runs out of paper (unless the print job is aborted and/or the printer is turned off and turned on again)!!
The specific error message displayed by the printer software is either "Remote host did not accept data file (32)" or "Remote host did not accept data file (105)".
I haven't seen any pattern whatsoever in terms of application used.
I have deleted the printer and reloaded the driver from the disk supplied with the printer. I have checked to see that I am running the most recent driver.
I've already reset the printing system, but that didn't fix it.
I have seen this problem on various support communities pages, but for different printers.
I have yet to see a solution - Any other recommendations please?

The error message you see printed is a Postscript error. With your printer, postscript (normal output type from applications) is converted to the printer's page description language before being sent to the printer. So, I believe the problem is in some part of the driver software.
For first step, I would try restarting from the Recovery partition and repair the hard drive using Disk Utility. You can repair permission, too. This is trying to correct a corrupted file.

If that doesn't fix it, I would try downloading and installing the latest driver for the printer.
Come back for more if that still doesn't work.

Two days before I have acquired a HP 1020 Plus Laserjet printer . How to duplex print from a MS Word document and Corel Draw document in HP 1020 Plus printer? I tried manual duplex printing by printing the odd pages first and then even pages ....it came out correct ,...but whenit comes to Page numbers continuity it is not properly printed ....why?? Can anyone highlight on this and give me a step by step instructuion to print Duplex and thereby help me to create 20-----------page or 30 page booklets.....from MS word typed document or corel draw document......Expecting a speedy solution

The laserjet 1020 only has manual duplexing capabilities. Please refer to this document for a complete set of instructions.
Print on both sides of the paper (manual duplexing)

I am working with multiple page document in Illustrator CS6.
I have saved my document in .pdf.
Before I managed to open the whole file, but now it asks me which page I want to open.
Can I some way open again the file as a multi page file and work with all the files at the same time?

Did you save the file as a PDF while still working on it and then lose the original .ai file?
If you only have a .pdf and closed the file, I hate to tell you, but you're going to have to open every page indpenedently then recompile a single ai document if that's what you need. At least that's all you can do with Illustrator as it's installed by default.
You can try Carlos Canto's script in this thread: http://forums.adobe.com/message/4124513#4124513 it's designed to take a multipage PDF and create illustrator artboards from the PDF pages.

Suddenly, system produces a "microsoft image writer," freezes, then crashes when I try to print from a web page. This is new, just past week or so.

For the past week or two, when I desire to print from a web page or email and hit the "print" command, instead of my printer name the printer window displays 'microsoft document image writer." Then it asks me to save (in which case it appears in my documents) or print to file. Then, if it works, it produces a window with an image of the page. And once or twice, I can then print. But usually, it produces a blank screen, an endless hourglass, a "not responding" message, and then the blue screen of death.

Resize a multiple page document in Indesign CC

How do you resize a multiple page document in Indesign CC so the content stays centered.
If I do it from Document Setup it resizes from the top left.
This use to work from Indesign CS6.

Try using the Page tool and the Liquid Layout Re-center rule.
You'll need to either select all the document pages or the master pages you want to resize. When those pages are selected, enter your new page size and choose Re-center from the Liquid Layout menu.

In pages you can only have one orientation of the Page. You have to rotate the content on the pages that you want horizontal. Save the document in Pages format so you'll have a original version to work on. Then Export to or Print to PDF and open the document in Preview. Here you can rotate the pages to horizontal viewing.

Recently, when I try to Print from a web page the printer will only print 1/2 a page.

There is no such thing, there are just artboards which are essentially just tiles of a large document that provide a demarcation of virtual "pages" but don't limit content - artwork can always spread across all artboards. Anyway, I strongly suggest you read the online help. There is no point in creating a hundred forum threads to answer such basic questions.

Sendmail plugin: emailing multiple page document, each page to a separate email address

when I try to email a document to separate email addresses it will not separate the pages, The Sendmail plugin claims (in the page with the "next" button) that it will read each page and use the email address found there to mail that page to that address, but it only creates a multiple page document to mail to the address found on the first page.
