HELP PLS!
I have a strange problem.I created a form in Adobe Live Cycle Designer and use this in an Adobe-PDF-package.
By printing it on another PC (Windows) the fonts did not come out right - u can C this in the other thread, as I can't upload the attachement here ....

Image moves when printed from SAP queue versus Adobe Reader.
I've got a form with a image embedded into it that serves as a background watermark.
This document is usually printed from Adobe Reader, however some users have requested the ability to print directly to a SAP printer without using Adobe Reader to print using windows drivers.
When the form is sent to a SAP printer the image watermark is for some reason moved about 3mm to the right which causes the watermark not to align with the Text Fields that also print on the form. The text fields do not move, they print in exactly the same spot with either print method. Only the image seems to be affected.
Has anyone run into this? The image is an embeded .png file that is set to Scale Image Poportionally in the sizing options.

I looked at the notes you suggested and it does seem related to the extra margin added to documents printed to PCL-5.
If I use LiveCycle to set an image field .5mm from the left edge of the page, and then print it from SAP directly and then from Adobe Reader I see two different things.
Adobe Reader (with page scaling option turned off) will simply omit anything that falls outside the printable range.
SAP will move the omitted content into the printable area. This is what is causing my image watermark not to align properly with the text in front of it. The image field was too close to the left margin and so in the process of printing, SAP has moved it over to fit in the printable area.
It seems I can fix this issue for my particular requirement by creating a new image field that has the extra white space removed so that I can keep the image field farther away from the left edge of the page.
Not sure if there is some way to change the way the drivers for device type HPLJ4 are handling these margins, but it will likely just be easier to change the images to move them further from the edge which seems to fix it.

Selecting Multiple fields from fillable form in Adobe Reader
I created a form in Adobe Pro, and want to be able to select multiple fields to cut and paste the results in other parts of the form.
Does anyone know of a way to do this?
I would appreciate any help! ThankyouGo to Form Edit mode, and then you can select multiple fields either in the Fields list, or on the page itself (using Ctrl), or by holding down the mouse and dragging the selection square over them. Then just Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V in the other page, and you'll get copies.
Edit: This can only be done in Acrobat, though. Your title talks about Reader but you post is about Acrobat... -
I am unable to print a pdf from a website through Adobe Reader on my mac. It keeps telling me that no pages have been selected - I have uploaded the latest version of Adobe with no luck and have never had this issue before !

Open the file>Print>advanced>check the box "print as an image" OK

How do I change the color of font in a fillable form in Adobe Reader? How can I check if the writer of the document has given permission to edit color and not just add text? Please help! I'm technologically challenged.
Most forms (99% or more) are created for simple text input, where you cannot change anything.
The creator of the form could allow Rich Text input (which allows you to change font, text size, color, etc.), but frankly I have never seen such a form, and I wouldn't know how they look. But I'm sure they would show some kind of controls to alter the text appearance. -

Adobe Reader worked under the spare Admin account so I deleted that in case it was confusing the installer. I then rerpaired persmissions. I then re-installed Reader. Same problem "Internal Error"!!
So, I re-created another Admin account and opened Reader. No problem. After clicking accept licence it opened up with a question to make default or not. After this I hunted through every folder and found that Under 'User/Librarary/Application Support/Adobe' there was an Acrobat folder. When I checked the account I normally use there wasn't, and never was?? So I copied pasted a copy of the Acrobat folder into the same location on the non working account and all is fine.
Problem for me is, why did this happen? I wasted almost a day on this. Is it a problem with the installer, the Macbook or Permissions. I checked permissions and they are identical to those on the spare Admin account. So why did the installer not create the Acrobat folder on the main account from where it was installed? Reason it concerns me is with regard to updates. Will they also screw up?
I'll try to explore further as times goes on but for now I have to say I've had enough of Acrobat and Lion for one day. "It just works". Really??? -
Completing forms with adobe reader
can anyone help, i have filled in a form with adobe reader, its all fine but as some of my text comes further in some of the boxes , when it prints it dosent contain all the text even though i can view it, its as thou the box isent making itself big enough to accomadate it all when printing, any help greatfully accepted after spending hours/days doing it & unlimited trys of printing. thanks x
hi, ty for ur help, all i know is i completed it adobe reader & when i go to the indevidual box were the text is (the answers as it was a esa 50 form) its shows the scroll to indicate u can go uo or down in the box but when it prints off it like chops the bottom of the boxes as such so doesnt get all my answers. i have checked the settings that it says print from image etc but am not to gud at these x

Cannot complete form using Adobe Reader - Mac OS X 10.6.8
I have been using Adobe Reader to complete forms for my Bank for more than 9 months without any problems. I'm using Adobe Reader 10.1.1 for Mac. I recently upgraded my OS from 10.5.8 to 10.6.8 and this is the first time I've tried to use Adobe Reader since the upgrade. Today when I opened my form using Adobe Reader I cannot select and type in any of the text fields. Trying to click inside a text box simply seems to 'select' the entire page.
I checked online but could not find any compatibility issues. I'm hoping that I've overlooked something very simple that I should have done but have no idea what that could be.
I would be very grateful if someone could advise me what my problem might be.

TriciaThanks for responding Ankit. No, I saved the form to a folder on my desktop and I open it using the Adobe Reader app. It has always worked without a problem before. I checked my husband's iMac (which has the same saved form on his Desktop). He is also running OS X 10.6.8. On his machine it opened without a hitch so I used his computer to fill in the form and print it out. Obviously, if it works on his computer and he's also using 10.6.8 it's not related to the upgrade.
I trashed my copy of Adobe Reader and have re-downloaded the app. Will install it and see whether it now works or if the problem persists. Will post back the results.'

I need to fill a form using Adobe reader in Safari, and although the plug-in is in my Library/internret plug-ins folder, I always get the message, when I get to the site form page in Safari to install plug-in.
Any thoughts ?

Sumbitting Forms in Adobe Reader
I am unable to submit my form using Adobe Reader. When I hit the submit button, I am prompted to choose a desktop mail application or internet mail application. I choose desktop and my Outlook account opens. I see the file attached; however when I hit send, the message closes and I am returned to the original form. I return to outlook but don't see anything in my sent file or my outbox. The form owner has also told me that they have not received my responses.
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling reader, and I also tried repairing reader. My co-work who users reader only and outlook had no problems.
Any ideas?Figured it out … something to do with having 2 Outlook profiles loaded on my computer. Even though I was logged into my personal email profile, the file was being stored in the second profile’s outbox. As soon as I logged into the alternate profile, the form was sent.
I’m not sure how to change which profile forms will be sent from, but at least we know where the file went.

Cant print in Word 2010 or Adobe Reader pdf files
I run Windows 7 and have an HP Officejet Pro 6835 connected wirelessly via my router. I am able to print test pages and WordPad docs but not from Word 2010 or Adobe Reader. Please help! =)

Barcoded forms using Adobe Reader
Hi,
As previous discussion started by me, we have developed a Barcoded form for our work process.
It's use to be succesful filling & editing barcoded form with Adobe Acrobat reader 9.3 after we license the form in Livecycle.
But just know the reader fails to read the barcoded form.
After the user fills details on the form, the barcode field dissapear from the screen (blank grey spot).
Is this because of another licensing process needed? Or it is only a technicality problem.

RajaI have the same problem as Raja. And it does not help to reduce the amount of information in the barcode. The barode field stil turns gray in Adobe Reader 9.
The strange thing is that there are no problems when I open and fill out the form in Adobe Reader 7.

Unix machine on which Oracle 9iAS is installed has printer services set up. Can print from the form in client/server environment (using menu File->Print or from the Print button). Cannot print when the form is deployed on the web (via 9iAS). If the printer has been set up on the server machine shouldn't I be able to print via web forms. Is there anything I have to set in any configuration file? Thanks in advance.

I will attach the link to this utility and also a document that will work you through step-by-step to try and resolve the issue. I would start with the diagnostic utility and then move to the support document after that. Please post back with your result so I can make sure the issue got resolved.
