Printing picture in low resolution

I want to print Logo in Label Printer. But it is printing in low resolution.
The dimensions of the Picture are 1,5 cm x 1,5 cm.
When I insert the picture (dimensions 317 pixels x 292 pixels) in CR  , I change Xscaling and Yscaling.
When I printing CR, the picture is printing in resolution 62 pixels x 57 pixels.
I want to print Logo in high resolution.
Help me, please.

My version is Crystal Reports for Visual Studio 2003 .NET service pack 1
Thank you very much, but in this version not exists this Check.¿?
I have installed Crystal Reports 2008 (Trial versión), have open proyect VS and have printing picture in high resolution.
I have installed Hotfix CR and all updates Visual Studio 2003 .NET
I do not believe that it is necessary to change the version to solve this problem.

David

FaceTime freezes when I call my son's iPad. Calling his iPhone in the same room has no problems. The picture is high resolution. There are no freezes when calling my daughter's iPad but the picture is lower resolution. Can I troubleshoot this?

Thanks Mario, but I tried everything there before posting my question. I may not have been clear in my question since I accidently recorded the whole question as the title and tried to edit. In brief: I have no trouble connecting with my daughter's iPad or my son's iPhone. However, his iPad is sending much higher resolution pictures and we disconnect after about a minute.  Oddly, he can hear and see me while my screen first freezes, then goes black and gives me a message of "reconnecting" until it quits trying and shows the buttons to end or redial. The picture quality difference is what is leading me to believe it is bandwidth related. However, I get anywhere from 5 to 10 MB download speeds; usually closer to 10. Last summer, I had 4 granddaughters on their iPads, a grandson on his gaming device and me on cell phone or pc, all using the bandwidth at once with no complaints. If there is a way to lower his outgoing resolution, I think that would help.

  • Pictures are low-resolution

The pictures online are all extremely low-resolution and pixelated. Facebook seems to be the site I notice it most on. It's like all the pictures were taken with early 2000's camera phones. I know the pictures don't look that bad.

Does that also happen if you open an image directly in a browser tab?
Do you have an ISP or use a low bandwidth (wireless) connection that could cause it?

  • Thumbnails and low resolution pictures both burn on CD

I remeber when starting iPhoto it asked me something about thumbnails. I must have checked yes, because now when I burn to a CD I get a thumbnail of good quality and a picture with low resolution both on the CD. I burned 31 pictures and on the CD were 62. I had the larger imalges printed and they turned out horrible. What's up??

If you used the Share->Burn menu option they you will get an iPhoto organized CD with both the thumbnail files (in the Data folder) and the full sized files (in the Originals folder). That type of disk is intended for use by iPhoto when the disk is mounted in the drive. It shows up in the Source pane of iPhoto.
If you're looking for a disk to uses on PCs or take to a photo finisher then you need to use the File->Export menu option and export the full sized image file to the CD to be burned.

  • Adobe reader prints in low resolution

    Hello Adobe Forum,
I'm having a problem with one of the users here at the company I work at. He creates a picture using indesign and exports it to PDF and via Adobe Acrobat edits it into something he can edit however when he prints it the resolution is lower then whenever he prints something via indesign. why is that ?
    Printer brand: SATO
    Printer model: CL412e
So far we've checked everything in the printing preferences because we believed that there would be a setting that allowed you to specify in what resolution you can print. With low resolution I mean is that when I print via Adobe Reader there's pixels around the edges of the pictures [Anti-aliasing] but when printed via indesign, there are less and almost not noticable.
    Please help me,
What should I do to make sure that whenever the user prints something via Adobe it doesn't come out as a low-resolution print.
    Thanks,
    Wouter Spaan.

    Hello ~graffiti and Wouter,
I'm the one with the printing  problem, the preset I use is the High Quality print preset and I have  tried some other options such as the Standard and Compatibility options.  The quality onscreen in the pdf is of high quality and since the  printer only prints type labels I don't get why it would suffer a loss  in quality. Also everything is in vector so that makes it even more odd.
The problem could be in the export options from Indesign but what specific setting could it be?
I have tried turning almost every setting off and on, turning compression settings off and turning the text into objects.
I  have also tried different settings within acrobat and changed the  resolution under preferences, even with 1200 pixels/inch it makes no difference.
There is no  difference in quality between printing from Indesign and Adobe Reader  when printing on a normal printer with normal paper aswell.
So any idea about specific settings I'm missing or what else might be wrong?

  • How can i get low resolution pictures to print

I just bought a office jet pro 8600 and got on hp e-print for the sole purpose of printing pictures off of my iphone and ipad. I just sent an e-mail to the printer and it only printed "sent from iphone." It says there is some technology preventing printing of low resolution images... usually from camera phones. Any ideas or help.
    Thx

    Hi DChip56,
Here are some printing tips for printing from your iPad and iPhone (particularly items in bold):
All photos e-mailed with HP ePrint will print at a default size of 4 x 6 inches (101.6 x 152.4 mm).
If your HP ePrint-enabled printer does not have a separate photo paper tray, just make sure that photo paper is the only paper loaded in the tray when printing photos.
Make sure your digital images have a high enough resolution, or dpi (dots per inch). Image files (like jpeg, bmp, tiff, etc.) need to be at least 100 dpi in order to print via HP ePrint.
Make sure your image attachments are smaller than the 5 MB (megabyte) limit.
If you send a photo that is less than 100 dpi, it will not be printed. Instead, you will see a message in your job history on the ePrintCenter that says “Failed”.
To print a photo or image that is less than 100 dpi, insert the image file into a Word document before e-mailing. Your image will be printed on paper from the main printer paper tray.
If I have helped in any way, just click the Kudos star on the left. Also, if your issue has been resolved, don't forget to select Accept as Solution

  • HT1044 Issues w/Low Resolution when trying to print pics from Iphone 4s

Been trying CONTINUALLY to print images from my Iphone 4S.  Example, uploaded a few pictures from phone to Kodak site.  Get error message, "Low Resolution, may print blurry", message for the photos.  Yes, They DID print blurry.  Recommended by someone, I changed the setting on my Iphone to HDR under Options for Camera.  Still have the issue.  What is purpose of having hundreds of pictures on iphone (that look wonderful on facebook, by the way), but you CaN'T print them out or order prints!??!   Verrrry Frustrating.   Any suggestions how to fix this issue?  I understand there needs to be a certain level of pixels....however, there HAS to be a way to change them to a higher res to get good quality pictures.   Help Please!!  Thank you!

  • Low Resolution when uploading to online printing service

When I upload photos from iPhoto to an online printing service (Walmart, Costco, Shutterfly) photos show up as low resolution. When I take the picture I use the higest resolution. Are there any suggestions on how to rectify this situation? I have uploaded and printed before with no problem. Do I have to use the memory stick directly to the site or change settings?

    Welcome to the Apple Discussions.
How are you going about uploading?
Are you digging the files out of the DATA folder in the iPhoto Library Folder? If so, you're using the thumbnails that iPhoto uses for display purposes.
There are three ways (at least) to get files from the iPhoto Window.
    1. Drag and Drop: Drag a photo from the iPhoto Window to the desktop, there iPhoto will make a full-sized copy of the pic.
    2. File -> Export: Select the files in the iPhoto Window and go File -> Export. The dialogue will give you various options, including altering the format, naming the files and changing the size. Again, producing a copy.
    3. Show File: Right- (or Control-) Click on a pic and in the resulting dialogue choose 'Show File'. A Finder window will pop open with the file already selected.
I suggest you use the File -> Export option and export the pics to the desktop. There iPhoto will make a copy. Upload that, and when the upload is finished you can trash the copy on the desktop - your original is safe in iPhoto.

  • Old, low resolution pictures in iPhoto

Are there any techniques for viewing old, low resolution photos decently once their imported into iPhoto? Preview and other image viewers just open a version small enough to be clear, but in iPhoto they come out pixelated and blurry.

    Hi Tom
you might find this suggestion strange (so would you peter), launch which ever editing app. you are using and click on "fill the screen". since i was using elements, it filled the screen enough not to see pixelation. i then took a picture of that image using "snapndrag" and the resulting image nearly tripled in size. at least enough to print/view.
I said that this suggestion is strange because just recently, my sister and mother went to visit her ailing uncle(mothers' brother) in california. the camera they took along had its setting from max resolution reset to the lowest by a family member. as a result, the final image turned out to be 3.5in x 2.5in. instead of 26in x 35in. so printing is out of the question and any detail in the faces is bare minimum. so i took a chance and used the "snapndrag" app. and the result was a large enough image that i can see and print.

  • Low Resolution Warning on Calendar Pictures

I am in the process of creating a calendar using iPhoto '08. However, some of the pictures that I have added have a low resolution warning in the top right corner. I have tried cropping the photos, fitting the photo to frame size, zooming out, and reverting the photo to the original copy (all the things they told me to do on the Apple website), but the yellow yield signs are still not going away. Is there any way to fix this without resorting to "fitting the photo to frame size"? TIA!

Welcome to the Apple Discussions. What are the pixel dimensions of the photos you are using?
TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto (iPhoto.Library for iPhoto 5 and earlier versions) database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've created an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger or later), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. There are versions that are compatible with iPhoto 5, 6, 7 and 8 libraries and Tiger and Leopard. Just put the application in the Dock and click on it whenever you want to backup the dB file. iPhoto does not have to be closed to run the application, just idle. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.
NOTE: The new rebuild option in iPhoto 09 (v. 8.0.2), Rebuild the iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup" makes this tip obsolete.

  • One low resolution picture

    I have a weird one:
Yesterday I took a picture of a butterfly on our porch.  I waited until it showed up on my desktop's photo stream and then, because I liked it so much, decided to make it my desktop background.  But it looked oddly jagged - why would that be the case?  The iPhone's resolution is definitely bigger than my MBP's screen!  I went into iPhoto and looked at the picture on my stream and it's only 640x858!  What the heck?  I looked at the other pictures in the stream and they were all 2448x3264 - only this one picture is of the lower resolution!?  What's more, this one picture is the only one in the stream that doesn't say "iPhone 5" as the source and doesn't have location info associated with it.  It's as if it was taken by another camera and then imported...only it wasn't.  I definitely took it by sliding up the camera from the lock screen!
I have an iPhone 5 with the latest iOS (6.1.4).  My phone is pretty full (only 26MB left), but plenty enough for more pics.  I just took another one and that one, again, showed up with the correct resolution in my stream.
Does anyone know what's going on?

  • My browser on my Curve will only save low resolution pictures. Help!

For some reason now, everytime I browse on the internet and find a picture I want to save, it will view it and save it in a very low resolution instead of its normal resolution. Why is that? I have tried freeing up memory and I have all my media saved in a media card with a bunch of free space. Any help with this will be welcomed. The pictures are so low res that it is useless for me to view or save any picture using my blackberry.
    Please help!

How are you backing up the photos?  The best way is to backup the library itself as that will preserve your organizational efforts as well as all metadata like keywords, titles, faces, places, books, etc.
You can use a backup application that does incremental backups.  Thus only the first backup is a full one and subsequent backups just copy those files that are new or changed. I use Synk Pro.  The lower cost version, Synk, will do the same job.  Other similar apps can be found at MacUpdate.com.
OR: upload your camera to a folder on the Desktop. There you can rename the files to something that is more informative than just the file name.  I use the date (international format) along with a brief desc: 2007-1-20-adian1stbday-001.jpg.  File renaming apps can also be found at MacUpdate.com.  Also you can give the folder an informatve name which will become the Event name when you import the folder of photos into iPhoto.
