Printing problem in acrobat 9

We have problems in printing technical documents that are in pdf format. We have lines with a gauge of 0.25 mm and we print the file on nashuatec printers (a Ricoh company). The line is not neatly. The border of the line is "frayed". We printed the file with adobe reader and everything is ok. I have updated the acrobat programm to the actual version und I use the actual printer driver. anyone an idea?

Thanks a lot. I'll try it on Monday...

  • Printing problem with Acrobat Pro 10.1

I get an "Insufficient memory" message on my LaserJet printer when trying to print certain PDFs using Acrobat Pro 10.1, but the PDFs are printed without any problem from Acrobat Pro 9 or Preview. Does anybody else have this problem?

Thanks for responding I was using an MS Excel spreadsheet to merge details to produce labels in a programme called NiceLabel Pro.  The information from the spreadsheet was very simple - a readable code number and a QR code.  In the Nice Label document setup you nominate the printer - in my case this was the Adobe PDF printer - to produce a Press Ready quality PDF file.  I tried several times to print this file and each time ended up with page 1.  As the job was urgent and I had a deadline to meet, I ended up installing a programme called Nitro - which also produces PDF - to complete the job, without a problem.  However, I would prefer to stick with my Adobe Acrobat software as the other alternative is limited in its pre-press options.  Hope this information will enable a solution to the problem.

  • Print problem with Acrobat XI

    Hi,
After implementation of Acrobat XI my company is experiencing problems with pdf files failing to print on some printers.
The problem occurs for these specific printer types (reported so far): OCE 6522C, OCE CS 250, Canon iR-ADV C5045/5051.
The common problem is that when the pdf is printed (Reader XI standalone or as IE plugin or Acrobat XI professional) it looks normal and we get the normal confirmation that the print job was successfully sent to printer. However, in all cases the job never goes into the printer queue but gets deleted without a trace.
The problem is only present for PDF files created using Acrobat Distiller XI and printed with Reader/Acrobat XI. All pdf files created with Distiller versions pre XI, print fine on all printers.
The problem is present regardless of which user creates the pdf and who tries to print (as long as Acrobat XI is used.)
If we create pdf using the utility "PDF creator" from pdfforge, the printing works perfect from both Reader and Acrobat XI.
If we print pdf files generated by Distiller XI with "PDF Architect" from pdfforge, the printing still works perfect.
It seems to us that a change in either Distiller XI and/or Reader/Acrobat XI is causing the printers to skip/delete the job??
We cannot easily ensure that all printer drivers are updated, as this is a large company with several thousand enployees in many different offices around the world.
    Some system details:
    OS: Win 7/Serv. pack 1/64-bit
    Reader v. XI, 11.0.2
    Adobe Distiller professional XI, 11.0.0136
Distiller settings: Profile: "High Quality Print", Security: none, Comaptibility: Acrobat 5.0 (Pdf 1.4), All fonts embeded
Printer driver used for generating ps: Adobe PDF (Adobe PDF converter)

    Hi,
I have the exact same problem. I have noticed that the screen asking for the serial number is on my OS language (Danish). If I deactivate photoshop and activate again the same screen is in English and allows me to login and register the license with no problems. Only when printing with the Adobe PDF printer I get the problem!!
    Anyone?

These are four page documents but when I print from Acrobat 9 Windows, all I get is the first page.
Printing them from Acrobat for Mac works fine.
I have checked all print settings. Printing multipage documents from other Windows programs like Word is working fine.
    Any suggestions?

  • Printing problem with Acrobat V.10.1.12

I recently had to complete a mail merge type exercise to create labels and supply print ready PDF to commercial printer.  The complete document was 3,334 pages.  When I went to print the PDF printer seemed to be going through all the motions, but at the end, would only produce page 1 of this document.  Is there something I can do to correct this?

  • Printing problems from acrobat with recieved pdf's

    Hi everybody,
We have a problem with printing PDF files on windows 7 32 bit. This only happens with files that have come through one persons emails. When you open the PDF file from outlook it works fine but when you print it it crashes the print spooler service and the print job gets stuck in the print queue then you have to go into the queue and manually delete it. When I open pdf files that i have downloaded it all seems to work fine and will print.
Any help would be muchly appreciated
Also from this email you can email to an xp machine and it prints but if you email to the other windows 7 machine it does the same thing. But the other windows 7 machine can print thier PDF's from thier emails
    Thanks
    Jake

Quite frankly, it would really help the Adobe Acrobat team if you at least provided information as to what version of Acrobat or Reader you were using, what type of printer (manufacturer, model, and whether PostScript or not), etc.
We are not aware of a general problem of the type you describe and such information would help us track the issue down to assist you and any other users.

  • Printing Problems with Acrobat 9.5.1?

I recently installed the update - Acrobat Pro 9.5.1 (Mac). Now I am having problems printing pdf files.
I re-installed printer drivers and printer software a couple of times. Got a file to print this morning and now nothing will print again.
These upgrades are more trouble than they are worth. What a waste of my time and time is money when you run your own business.
I've found no help online for this issue.
Printer - Epson Stylus Photo R1800

    The printer.
iPhoto is still active and I can do other things with it. The job has been sent tothe printer so I guess it's the printer where the problme lies, or the communication between the Mac and the printer (which is wireless, though that shouldn't make a difference).

  • Printing problem in Acrobat Pro

    Hello all.
I have acrobat pro CS4 and have just made this my default from Preview as I am finding print output from preview is really bad.
However I am having an issue in Pro.
I cannot seem to make it understand the dimensions my printer can goto. I have a phaser 8550 which can print to within 8mm of the edge of the paper (A4)
Now if I tell it to reduce to fit and print it will print with the bottom edge being a good inch from the edge. If I tell it not to reduce then it will print to within the 8in, but of course the image is cropped.
Is there anyway to get this right?

You say you're using Verdana but you're not. The error message clearly shows you're using MyriadPro Bold.
You probably recently installed the Mac OS X 10.6.7 update which has a bug with OpenType PostScript fonts like MyriadPro Bold. Either use Verdana or another TrueType or PostScript font, or revert to Mac OS X 10.6.6.

  • Printing problems with acrobat and Mavericks

We just got a new Mac Mini to replace an old iMac to drive our printers. We normally print from Acrobat Pro 9 ( 10.6.8 & 10.8.5 ) and have no problems. We migrated everything over to the Mini, which is running Mavericks, and now when we print a 2 page document the 2nd page is printing 180 degrees turned around. Printed the same file from another Mac with no problems. I've heard that Mavericks will only run Acrobat Pro XI. This is insane, that's like $450! Could it be a driver or something simple that I can't see for the life of me? BTW, this Mini will be running 10 printers at once, the old one did it.

Have you reset the printing system…
    http://support.apple.com/kb/PH14141
Does Preview do any better? That will indicate if it's the printer driver or something in the application's printing system.
It would be worth checking that the printer drivers are up to date - a migrated driver may not be appropriate for 10.9.

  • Printing Problems with Acrobat Pro 9.5 for Mac

I have Acrobat pro 9.5 for Mac.  I'm using a Canon MG8150 multi-function printer.  Everytime I try to print from Arobat Pro I get an error message.  Any suggestions?  I can print my pdfs from Apple Preview; so it's not the document or the printer.

The first problem is probably a permissions issue. Run Repair Permissions from the Disk Utility. For the second see this

  • Printing Problems w Acrobat Pro 9

Hi all, I really need your HELP!
    Here is the problem:
When printing a PDF in Acrobat I'll only get out a part of the original site!
This part is sitting in the upper half and centre of the paper - just a rectangle of 5x8 cm...
but it shows the left upper corner of the original site.
First I thought I'd used the snapshot option for printing - but no...
Seems to be ok everything with the printing options.
Tested it again and again with severeal PDFs - same happens.
I really don't know what the problem is... can s.o. help?
Here some infos bout the configuration:
    Hardware iMac 27"
    Printer: Canon iP3600 (new drivers)
    System MacOS Snow Leopard
    Acrobat 9 Pro

Your graphic images you posted are too small to read the detail. Can you post the middle two images again separately so that the detail can be read?

  • Printing problem after acrobat upgrade

    Hi,
I am running Mac OSX 10.8.5 and have recently updated my Acrobat to 11.0.04. Since doing this I am experiencing problems printing my pdf files to my desktop printer, which is a Xerox phaser 7500 duplex printer. When sending the file across it just crashes out the printer which reboots itself but doesn't print the file out. I had this problem previously when Acrobat issued an update and it ended up being a problem with the Xerox driver compatability, so I am sure it will be the same issue. The latest driver I can see on the Xerox site is this one - XeroxPrintDriver.2.112.0 but it still has the same problem. Does anyone have a later driver or any ideas please? A later driver supplied by Xerox fixed the issue.
    Regards Kevin

    Hi kevpobrien,
Please try updating Acrobat to 11.0.5 and check.

  • Printing problem in Acrobat 8

When trying to print large scale pdf files from one of the seven computers in the office to an OCE TDS400 plotter, rather than plotting the file, the plotter simply starts spewing out all the paper on the roll (50 yrds on a new roll)  This problem doesn't happen from any other program on the computer or on any other computer.  We have updated all the drivers, tried restarting the machine and reinstalling Acrobat 8.  Also, the problem started within the last month, but we have been using Acrobat 8 for a little over a year.
    Any theories out there?

That seems to have worked.  Thanks

  • Printing problem from Acrobat 11.0.04

    Hi,
I am running Mountain Lion 10.8.5 and have recently upograded my Acrobat XI to 11.0.04. After doing this I can no longer print pdf's to my desktop printer which is a Xerox Phaser 7500 duplex printer. I had this problem before after a previous upgrade of Acrobat caused the same issue. It ended up being a problem with the xerox print driver and after getting the latest version from Xerox it solved the problem. The latest driver on their website (XeroxPrintDriver.2.112.0) doesn't work. Anybody have this same problem, or any later drivers that might work?
    Please help
    Kind regards
    Kevin

What happens if you try to print from Preview instead?

  • Windows 7 Printing Problem

I have a very peculiar printing problem using Acrobat 9.5.2.  The pages always prints like this:
    <http://www.mytechnet.talktalk.net/Out-of-the-loop.pdf>
When I print the same page in Bullzip (a free pdf creator) it prints/creates the correct English file that can be read in Reader.
I am using Windows 7 Professional with 8 Gb ram and 2 TB Disk Drive (1.8 TB free).  Is my installation corrupted or is there a simple fix for it.
    Thanks.

This is a classic error when the fonts used in the document and your systems fonts aren't compatible or aren't the same.  What you could do is to NOT TO RELY on systems fonts as defaults and everything should work normally.  To do this try this:
    1) Go to Start/Windows Orb
    2) Click on Devices and Printers
    3) Right-click on Adobe PDF
    4) Click on Printing Preferences
    5) Uncheck "Rely on systems fonts only; Do not use document fonts"
    6) Click OK
You are now done and your documents should look normal on the screen.
See this picture (Click on it to magnify it if necessary):
    Good luck.
