Problem during BDC recording using wb01

Hi,
I have done recording using the T-Code WB01. While running the recording from SM35 it runs fine. But while the recording is being used to create the program to upload data, the execution stops at one field DELIVERY PRIORITY which is not a mandatory field. We can't proceed further even if the we put some value in the field. Please suggest some solution.
Regards,
Uttam

Dear Mr. Bhowmik,
SAP retail site master data was never batch input enabled. For this reason, during batch input several errors or endless loops could  occur. To avoid this, please read note 1274501 and 1400394 which contains some modification proposals .
Please keep in mind, that SAP-Retail Site master does not support Batch Input (Rel. >=4.6C) and for this reason we do not support modification proposals.
SAP recommends the use of CATT/SECATT instead of batch input.

  • Problem in BDC Recording

    Hi I am having a problem in BDC Recording. My requirement is that when I input data in transaction fb02 to block the invoices, It shows a list of invoices. Now i need to double click that item(line) in which PK = 06 at runtime during bdc recording. During BDC recording it takes the line number on which we have clicked which is constant but i want it dynamic that if item 1 is having PK=6, that line should be double clicked and if item 3 is having PK=6, the third item should be double clicked to open another screen. Kindly help me... Thanks in advance.

    Hi Ravi,
    While writing your code that is in your code you know which line number is having the PK = 06, then you can use the same line number and add the code for double click after that.

  • How to capture F4 help during bdc recording

    Hello All,
    I need one help to solve one of the requrimkents..
    In transaction Co02, user have to add the compoenents manually..but before user adds the components manually, i need to call the transaction co02, then i have do F4 help and fill the data for the user and then user will handle it manually...
    So till F4 help and filling the data in F4 help, i need to do through my program using bdc...when i try to do, F4 help is not captured in my recording..
    So please help me how to capture F4 help during BDC recording.
    Thanks in advance
    Sangeetha

    HI Sangeetha,
    I have one question for you!!!!
    Capturing F4 help  in BDC recording is secondary thing. First, If you want the user to select the value from the F4 help, then in that case user will have to run the BDC program in the foreground mode which is not possible and time consuming if your file is having more records (say >100). Then in that case will you prompt the user every time for selecting the component values, as many records there will be in the file to be uploaded??? I think it is not a way of handling or capturing the component values. I would prefer that pass the component values in the file which has to be uploaded.
    Please let me know if you still have some doubts on the same.
    Thanks
    VJ

  • Problem during uploading data Using BDC

    While I'm trying to upload data for T.Code J1IS using BDC, Value for the field  Net.***.value ( J_1IASSVAL-J_1IVALNDP) is not getting populated on the screen.
    Pls help.

    Hi,
    This is a Currency Field so you need to pass this to a Char field first and then pass to BDCTAB-FVAL.
    " This is a common problem with BDC with other data types even with Date  and Quantity and Numeric types
    Please note while passing values to BDCTAB all the values should be passed in CHAR form only

  • When does a error log is creaded during BDC recording

    hi,
    i am working on Reports, i need to know how the BDC recording works, and when the error log log be created

    Hi anitha,
    You have got a message generated from message class "RQ" with message number "XXX".
    Are you getting this error during recording. Which transaction you are using for recording.
    The error messages will be generated when you documented is not proceesed completly via BDC. You can collect the error messages in to an internal table and print at the end of the program as a report.
    If you are using Call Traansaction
    *------ Declaring Internal Table to Store BDC Errors *----

  • Problems with ECATT recording using SAPGUI Record

    Hello,
    I got a problem with my recording. All the prerequisites are  done. The problem is,  that when the recording is done i don't see the recording in SECATT testcase. Normally when you do a recording you see at the bottom right of the gui a red/white icon active. When i do a recording now, this red/white icon isn't  active.
    For my it's a very strange error. I hope somebody can give me a hint where i can look,
    Thanks in advance.
    Kind regards,
    Maarten.

    Maarten,
    First when you start the recording using SAPGUI, you will get the pop-up whether to record this new session. You need to select Yes before continuing your recording.
    Secondly check the scripting values in the target system whether it is enabled or disabled using the RZ11 transaction. Mostly SAP Basis team have authorization to change these values for us.
    Here is the parameter we need to check in RZ11 - sapgui/user_scripting. It should be TRUE.
    Let me know if this helps.

  • Problems during result recording

    Hi,
    I am facing a problem in the result recording in the transactions QA11 for sample management. I make a sample from QPR1 and generate an inspection lot, then go to QA11 or QA32 for result recording. I record the results and save, the status of the inspection lot updates to RREC. But when i display the results or want to change them, the system shows me a blank screen to record the results again. Although the results are saved in the database table QAMR for the lot and the status of the lot is also RREC but on QA11 the system is not showing those and asking me to enter again. One thing is to be noted that this behaviour is for some materials' lots, for other sample management lots all is O.K.

    Hi,
    For Physical semple, when u r going to create any inspection lot Via QPR1, than u r very well known abt this that inspection point always use as far as physical sample is concern.
    So, whenever u execute physical sample  inspection lot via QA11, than during RR system ask u for a new inspection point values and its valuation.
    once u feed the results than lock ur lot by providing UD.
    if lot is opened and u want to feed new data against same lot than system allows for new inspection.
    I hope ur queery resolved

  • Problem in BDC program using MIGO_GO transaction code

    Hi Gurus
    I have developed a BDC session upload program. The program is
    running fine except for the issue that when it goes the subscreen in
    MIGO_GO transaction (same as MIGO) it does not generates any code
    for page down or next page key. While recording after 15 entries
    (end of page) it moves automaticaly to the next page on line 2 but
    when I have used my own itab to fill data into this screen it
    passes/generates the code for page down with clear screen. It does
    go to item 2 but overwrites earlier entries instead of generting new
    one.
    Any suggestions?
    Guys this is very urgent so need ur feedback immediately?
    Lots of thanks in advance.

    Hi
    Thanks Peram for your swift reply but I am a newbie to BAPIs ...... is there anyway i can do this from within the code i had written ....
    for BAPIs I have to do R & D in detail and I need to complete this urgently. If BAPI is the only solution kindly provide my some quick guideline to proceed.

  • I have a problem in BDC Recording?

    HI,
    When I do recording method in BDC to trasfer legacy in "MM01" (Material Master) "It records scroll bar also when we select Data". Is there any solution.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Gagan

    Hi,
    You can also use FM "SELECTION_VIEW_FIND" to find the appropriate Material Master View.
    But I agree with Sanjay, why go through the hassle of possibly creating a very complicated BDC (each different material type could concievably be a spearate recording), and use the RMDATIND load program (with LSMW) or even use the BAPI "BAPI_MATERIAL_SAVEDATA" insetad?
    Hope this helps.
    Cheers,
    Pat.

  • Problem in BDC recording of MM02

    hi all,
    I am doing recording for MM02 . i am changing material description through MM02.
    My problem is that as soon as i save the changes my recording stops.
    My requirement is that after saving the changes i want to go back to main screen of MM02 and after that my recording should stop.
    Is there is any way to go back to main screen of MM02 after saving the changes in MM02.
    Please reply ASAP.
    Thanks in advance
    Sachin yadav

    Hi Sachin,
    When you have BAPI for a partcular transaction it is always better to use them, as the screen configuration  might have get changed by functionals for example a field might be marked as mandatory etc.
    Use the BAPI BAPI_MATERIAL_SAVEDATA for this.
    Refer this link for eg. [BAPI_MATERIAL_SAVEDATA|https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/wiki?path=/display/abap/creating%252ba%252bmaterial%252busing%252bthe%252bbapi%252bbapi_material_savedata]

  • Problem during dynamic casting (using reflection)

    Hi Guys,
    Need you help
    Situation is like this .I have a function which accept the Sting parameter
    Which is actually a full name of class .using reflection I created the class and object
    Now I want to cast this newly created object to their original class type
    Code is somehow like this
    Public void checkThis (String name) throws Exception{
    Class c = Class.forName(name.trim());
    Object o = c.newInstance();
    System.out.println(" class name = " + c.getName());
    throw ()o; //// here I want to cast this object to their orginal class type
    I tried throw (c.getName())o;
    But it is not working
    }

    You can't cast to an unknown type like that. You're trying to throw the object, which makes me believe you're loading and instantiating some Exception or other, right? Just cast the result to something generic, like Exception, or RuntimeException, or maybe Throwable. As long as the class you load actually is a subclass of whichever you choose, you'll be fine. And if it isn't, you've got problems anyway because you can't throw anything that isn't Throwable

  • Problem in getting records using FOR ALL ENTRIES

    Hi All,
    I am bringing the employee details with required selection criteria into an internal master table IT_EMPDETAILS.
    Now, I would want to fill the other columns of this internal table, using FOR ALL ENTRIES as  below:
      SELECT ZRCODE FROM PA9001
      INTO CORRESPONDING FIELDS OF TABLE IT_EMPDETAILS
      FOR ALL ENTRIES IN IT_EMPDETAILS
      WHERE   PERNR = IT_EMPDETAILS-PERNR
          AND ENDDA = '99991231'.
    but while i use this, it is actually clearing the IT_EMPDETAILS instead of filling the column of IT_EMPDETAILS table.
    what could be going wrong??
    Thanks in advance,
    Mohan

    Dear All,
    Thanks for the amazing replies, yesterday's world cup match is really doing wonders i guess!
    To give more insight at what i am looking for and what is done so far:
    I tried creating another Internal table and then filled that with only PERNR.
    and then using that. tried to fill IT_EMPDETAILS internal table using for all entries,
    alas it did not work, and it did not work with APPENDING CORRESPONDING either.
    now, coming to using LOOP, if I use loop, I am going run the loop for 1lakh emp(approx..and going high everyday) and modify the internal table for 1lakh records. AND not only that, I am going to loop another 9 tables in similar manner. that is 9lakh loops AND thats not all,
    after that I have to again loop the master internal table to loop and fill other employee details like 'text' instead of 'code' from a master table.
    This is one of the most query intensive, realtime, online comprehensive employee report that i am making.
    Appreciate replies from ABAP performance tuning experts and gurus in advance.
    Cheers,
    Mohan

  • Problem in BDC recording for transaction /J4I/015W3A

    hello all,
    i am recording for transaction /J4I/015W3A it has 4 select options if we enter all select options and press enter it will guide to another screen which has table control . i need the fill the entries there also and save the recording.
    i have completed recording with all the steps.
    if i try to run the report with this recording the problem is that  the first screen  the entries which i have entered in  select options are not defaulted and instead first enter okcode is getting triggered as there are no values on select options and enter is triggered an error message is displayed saying enter all the values .
    how can i over come this problem...........?

    hi,
      while recording, ok code will come first, for each screen you have to kept ok code at last .
      This will work.

  • Problem while createing record using plsqlEO

    Hi,
    I called API in insertRow() method of plsqlEO to create record and the primary key person_profile_id is the out parameter of this API and it'll generate by the API.
    But while submitting the page its throwing an error message as
    the attribute person_profile_id is required.
    So I couldn't able to create record. What might be the reason behind this?
    The insertRow method is given below,
    protected void insertRow()
    Diagnostic.println("Inside insertRow!!!!");
    Object obj = null;
    HzPartyV2Pub hzpartyv2pub = new HzPartyV2Pub();
    oracle.apps.ar.hz.v2api.HzPartyV2Pub.PersonRec personrec = new oracle.apps.ar.hz.v2api.HzPartyV2Pub.PersonRec();
    BigDecimal[] x_party_id = new BigDecimal[1];
    String[] x_party_number = new String[1];
    BigDecimal[] x_profile_id = new BigDecimal[1];
    String[] x_return_status = new String[1];
    BigDecimal[] x_msg_count = new BigDecimal[1];
    String[] x_msg_data = new String[1];
    Diagnostic.println("Before calling initializePersonRec");
    initializePersonRec(personrec);
    Diagnostic.println("After calling initializePersonRec");
    try
    OADBTransactionImpl oadbtransactionimpl = (OADBTransactionImpl)getOADBTransaction();
    OracleConnection oracleconnection = (OracleConnection)oadbtransactionimpl.getJdbcConnection();
    Diagnostic.println("Before calling createPerson");
    HzPartyV2Pub.createPerson(oracleconnection, "T", personrec, x_party_id, x_party_number,
    x_profile_id, x_return_status, x_msg_count, x_msg_data);
    Diagnostic.println("After API Call Return Status is:" + x_return_status);
    catch(Exception exception)
    Diagnostic.println("Inside Catch Exception: " + exception);
    checkErrors();
    How to solve this issue? please suggest.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Sagarika

    The SQL statement generated by TopLink is as follows -
    UPDATE PR_SUPP SET CNTC_PRSN_NAME = ''
    , REMK = 'Remark 123 !', LAST_CHNG_DTTM = {ts '2002-11-29 10:59:56.0'} WHERE ((S
    UPP_CODE = 'A0001') AND (LAST_CHNG_DTTM = {ts '2002-11-29 10:46:01.0'}))
    The coloumn name in the generated statement conform to the coloumn names in the table. The exception is being thrown for all 'update' queries for all objects in the application.
