Problem Exporting Report Layout

Hi,
I have an application that contains many report layouts. In the development environment it works fine. But, I have exported the application (.sql file) and imported into the production environment and when I try to run the report the application can´t find the page and the report doesn´t run.
Anybody can help me ?

For the user defined forms the PLD functionality is not avaliable, instead u can design and use Crystal reports.

Problem with Report Layout

Please help me.......
I had created a new form (Copy of Sales-> A/R Invoice, loaded from XML file).
The problem comes, when I tried to see (Print Preview) the Report Layout for the Corresponding A/R Invoice form.
The Layout Designer button is not showing its functionality on Clicking. Also the Print Preview button is in disabled condition. So I cant set the Report Layout and also cant see the Report (Preview) .
So is there any solution for this problem.

Problems Exporting Report to Word

Hi,
We are using the crystals reports bundled with VS2005 targetting .Net Framework 2.0, for a web based application. On some development PCs(Windows XP Sp3) and some ISS servers(IIS 6.0 and Windows Server 2003 R2(SP2) where the application is hosted we have a problem exporting the report is exported to word (programmatically using eportDocument.ExportToHttpResponse). Export to PDF and Excel on the PCs/server worls fine. This problem happens to all the reports in the system.
The problem is that the window opens and closes and we don't get to see the word document. But the same report when exported to word from the export option in the Crystal Report viewer, it works fine. Also on two of our Windows 2003 server with SP2 the export to word is working fine.
Please can you help us resolve this issue.

Problem In Report Layout

I am using BI publisher for PDF report printing. I am using a custom build layout for the report (The layout is built using Ms Word plug in Tempalte Builder) . Every thing is fine and the report print nicley.
The Problme is that when I include some static text like Signature or company name etc. It gives the famous error "Adobe Reader can not open file, the file may be currupt or it is send via emai"

Any Idea?

REPORT LAYOUT Discoverer Viewer AS-10g

I have a problem about report layout on Discoverer viewer AS10g.
If I have a crosstab layout and Year is my left axis and Sales and Products are my top axis, I see the label on report (Year), not only values (2003, ). I also see the label Data point(s), but I dont want to see it.
How can I reduce or delete the white space around cells of data?
a)How can I hide the label Data points?
b)How can I hide the label Year?
c)How can I reduce the white space?

Discoverer Viewer AS-10g - Report Layout

Hello,
I have a problem about report layout on Discoverer Viewer AS10g.

Report layout problem

i am facing very strange problem,
some times in report layout the field ,frame etc movement not exactely accoring to the
cursor movement(this happend only in some reports others work properly),
due to this ,layout designing is difficult

Problem with Apex layout report XSL-FO build by bi-publisher word plug-in

Hi all...
this is what I should do:
- generate a layout with bi-publisher word plug-in ---> it's ok
- export this layout in xsl-fo stylesheet --> it's ok.
- create an apex layout report with xsl-fo stylesheet --> it's ok.
- create an apex query report with the above layout
At this point when I test the report I have a corrupted pdf file....
can you help me!!!

do you use BI Publisher or another XSL-FO-Engine? Is BI Publisher running? Is it configured in the instance settings?

Matrix-Report - Layout-Problem

In my report (matrix-rep.) is number of column larger than side-width.
Report continue printing on the next page, but I want, the report should print this on the same page bellow
How can I do this?

My report uses template .rtf with font Times New Roman (Unicode), language is VietNamese.
when desige template no problem, error only happen when view report by PDF.

give it time to boot. the time depends on yr memory size n data. soon a process bar will appear indicating the boot process. if still this doesnt work. try formating the phone. but this ways u lose all data on the phone (unless u backed it). relax! the data on the memory card is safe.

Problem in Exporting report content to spreadsheet.

Hi,
When exporting report output to spreadsheet, the currency and quantity values are not getting exported properly.
For example : in report MB51 after getting the output, from menu-> list->export->spreadsheet->all available formats->Microsoft excel (in existing XXL Format)->table.
This is happening in Office 2007 only. And when i try to export the data to local file->spreadsheet, this problem is not there.
Do i need to do any settings in MS office excel or SAP GUI.
Plz suggest.

Problem Exporting Webi report to Excel in Edit mode

I have posted this question on BOB forum [http://forumtopics.org/busobj/viewtopic.php?t=189429&sid=8539bfcc4dbbf782ba1a9950085373ed] and found no response so I am cross posting here.
I have two environments: Enterprise XI 3.1 SP2 and Enterprise XI 3.1 SP3 FP3.6. On both instances when I open reports in web intelligence and try to export it to excel (using Save to my computer as Excel) I will get a "file download" dialog box asking me if I want to open, save or cancel. However when I am in Edit mode I get the same options to save/open only in the first instance(SP2), what I get in sp3 is a somewhat different "save docuemnt" dialog box (with a save as type all files not explicitly excel), doesnt allow users to open at all. I need your help to get the file download option to open/save when i export reports to excel in the second instance too. BTW it works fine for PDF export.

Problem while exporting report

Hi
I have created report with 7 subreport with crosstab in some subreports.When i run report its giving me more than 2000 records within minute But when i am going to export report into XLS or PDF or MS Word ,
its giving me timeout in crystal report but if we pass some optional parameters then its getting exported properly(with 50 to 60 records).
Please suggest on above.Thanks In Advance

Vishal if you ask my honest opinion I hate the idea of using sub reports. I use maximum of 2 sub reports, and not more. Infact when it comes to use sub reports, I try to arrange things in database instead of arranging them onto the reporting side.
For example, I will check all the sub report codes and see if I can use those tables in my main report. The ones which can be used I will use them and ones which can't be used I will create temp commands (tables) under the Crystal Database.
If that solution doesn't work then I would ask my db admin to arrange something so that I can arrange the report.
Think this way, the main people who uses these reports are managers,directors. Do you think they have enough time to sit and wait for the report to come? Max they can wait is 5mins from my experience, over that and they start doubting your abilities.
Unless or otherwise, these reports needs to run overnight, try avoiding subreports and use alternative methods.
