  • Installation of Dreamweaver CC 2014 - Problem with Adobe Application Manager

Hi I have recently installed the Adobe Dreamweaver CC2014 as a trial, and I received this message:
Adobe Application Manager, necesario para iniciar la versión de prueba, falta o está dañado.
Descargue Adobe Application Manager de nuevo de
    http://www.adobe.com/go/applicationmanager_es.
The thing is that I have installed the Adobe Application Manager and the problem persists.
What should I do to fix it?

You need to uninstall the CC desktop app & reinstall it. You can refer to :
1.Creative Cloud Help | Install, update, or uninstall apps
2.Creative Cloud Help | Creative Cloud for desktop
you can't install CC without Internet access. Even if you can download the apps separately, you still need the application manager and it needs to connect to the servers to provide the licensing and activation.

  • How to solve the problems of adobe application manager

i am facing a problem while installing adobe photoshop cs6 it shows adobe application manager is not working correctly. what should i do?

    Hi nprccpipraul,
Please let me know what OS you are using and the error message you get.
You might want to install the program by downloading it from www.adobe.com/downloads instead of the AAM.

  • Problems using Adobe Application Manager

I'm having problems signing in with Adobe Application Manager. Was working fine until yesterday, now it says it can't contact Adobe. I went through the help page (was able to access the adobe server site, etc.) but I was not able to resolve the issue. I am behind a proxy, however I've been able to connect every time until now. What other actions can I take to resolve this issue?

Thank you for responding. Funny enough, I had to restart my computer for a separte reason (which I should have done yesterday) and when I logged back in something must have gotten reset as the AAM is now working. As to your questions, I don't have the ext to the earlier error, only that it said couldn't connect to adobe. Also I have Version 7.0.0.233 (7.0.0.233) for reference.

  • More Problems with Adobe Application Manager

I just reformatted and upgraded from XP to Windows 7. I am trying to reinstall my Adobe applications, but AAM hangs with the message Waiting to Install...  I have more than enough space. I tried rebooting my system. I deleted and reinstalled Adobe Application Manager. Nothing seems to work. How do I fix this problem?

You can launch the Adobe Application Manager (AAM) from the Start Menu on Windows or from the Applications folder on Mac OS X. It will look like this:
Just click on the Install link for the program you want to try. You will see a progress bar for the download and install and then be able to launch the program once it is complete.
Alternatively if you are signed in with your Adobe ID on the Creative Cloud Apps page at https://creative.adobe.com/apps you can click the Try link. AAM will launch, download and install the program.

  • I have a problem with Adobe Application Manager

When I try to install adobe application manager it tells me that the installer failed to initialize and it tells me to install the Adobe Support Advisor. After I installed the  Adobe Support Advisor it tells me that there is nothing wrong but I still can't install Adobe Application Manager.I need help please.

    Hi,
Return code of 37 means that the Adobe genuine Validation check has failed. This means that your media got corrupted while downloading or copying. You should re-download it from Adobe.com and make a fresh package using AAMEE 3.1.
    Thanks,

  • Problems downloading Adobe Application Manager updates

The Adobe Application Manager Installer uploaded, then when I tried to activate it, I received the error message Download Error Press retry to try again or contact customer support (503). I pressed retry several times with no success, so I'm contacting customer support as directed.

I'm not sure which Adobe sub-forum that should come under, but pretty sure it doesn't belong here.

It would appear that there is a problem with Adobe Application Manager.  When I run Bridge(64) I run the HELP->UPDATE.  The system will launch Application Manager and hangs.  “Checking for Updates….”  Icon spins and nothing that I can see happens.  I will have to use Task Manager to kill it.
It also appears that I cannot install from my CS6 Installation disk.  Will not except the S/N.  My guess the count need to be reset. We are at 6 authorizations.
The problem:  Ever since I stopped the CC Upgrade Special and deleted CC software I have not been able to get Adobe software squared away.

I can run the Adobe Software CD’s and run setup

Trying to update thru Bridge. It gets into Adobe Application Manager and just clocks (Spins)

    Verified Serial Number
Had me type serial number instead of CUT and PASTE from my User Account
    type it using keyboard carefully
    do not copy paste
    transferred call to technical department

    Verified Serial Number
    Asked me what was wrong
    open tinyurl.com/975597
After looking around he asks “Is it working fine?” – I’m still baffled at this question because he had not made any changes. My response:
Well no.. let’s check it out
    1. bridge update, that would be no
    2. CS6 installs?  That would be No...
    So what's the question?
Amit Kumar: When it is already install, then why are you installing it again.
Rod Chatfield: option 1 - Bridge is my 1st choice to work. If that does not work then I have to Re-load Adobe
Amit starts looking at various systems setting and web pages and we wind up on:  http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/cs5-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.html
Before Amit could run anything I spoke up:  “the last time a rep took me this path I had to rebuild my pc... Are you sure you are not taking me down that path?
Amit Kumar: I will just check adobe id credentials.
Rod Chatfield: get me to the next level of tech.
Amit passes me off to Udit
Udit Tuli: What is the issue you are facing?
By this time (at least an hr) I give a little push back (read the log plz) to which Udit replies, “So you are using CS6 Photoshop?”.  Photoshop has not been even mentioned in the past hr.What happens next is the pinnacle of Adobe Customer support:
Udit Tuli: Then what is the product you are using?
Rod Chatfield: please read at least the last session
Udit Tuli: Sure allow me a minute

if that fails, uninstall ps, clean (Use the CC Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems | CC, CS3-CS6) and reinstall.  then use the manual updates.

  • Identify which updates Adobe Application Manager refers to.

    Windows 7 64 bit, CS6.
I seem to have the common problem of Adobe Application Manager pop-ups.
It just tells me there are updates to be had, not which ones.  Then the Manager does not work (gets as far as 'checking', then freezes on the buffering sign.)
There seem to be so many problems with this application that I cannot wade through the complications and lack of clarity as to what is CS6, what CC etc.
I am happy to download updates manually (although the AAM still tries to load at times, then.)
However, I need to know what it thinks needs updating.
Is there some way to find out what needs updating?
Or is it just totally faulty and there is nothing really to update?
(I have found no Set-up.exe in Windows Vista/7: \Users\[username]\Local\AppData\Adobe\AAMUpdater\1.0\  but can't find which, if any, of the correction downloads is appropriate.)
    Thanks

Well, sort of good.  Also bad.
Having downloaded and installed the patch you suggested (despite its emphasis on the Cloud) my AAM did come to life and try to install.
    Photoshop remains 13.0.1.
Camera Raw  is 8.8.0.397 - which, I assume, is DNG converter; the same thing?
    Extension Manager is 6.0.8.28
If I try to check again, through Photoshop, the Application Manager shouts at me that everything is up-to-date and I checked it less than a minute ago.  (Not true - it's lying.)
If I try to launch the Application manager on its own it tells me "Adobe Creative Cloud is needed to resolve this problem.  However it is missing or damaged. please download and install a new copy of Creative Cloud...etc."  Then it links to the relevant CC download.
i.e. it was, as suspected, a Creative Cloud patch when I have no Creative Cloud.
    So what now?
Hope to roll back (if that will work) and try a CS6 version? Where?

  • Adobe Application Manager is corrupted?

Hi - I have been trying to download the photoshop trial on my computer for the past few days, and keep encountering the following message:
"Download Error. Adobe Application Manager is corrupted and must be reinstalled. Please contact customer service."
    Any advice?

I have the same problem with Adobe Application Manager, I can not install and uninstall software adobe. What should he do?

  • My Adobe Application Manager is blank?

I had the exact thing happen to me. Is there no help in the world? And does anyone else think that AAM is the most unintuitive, and unfriendly program ever?

I am having this exact problem w/Adobe Application Manager CS6 from cloud service... in browser (safari - mac OS 10.6.8) if you try to open PDF link, it will instantly tell you you need to accept the user "blah blah" and this is what the window looks like... you can click on the accept all day and it will do nothing... cancel kills the app and you're back to square one. This is what it looks like...
