Problem in Base Customization

Hi Friends,
I am having a problem in Defining a date profile.
I want to add a date type REQ_DLV_DATE-Rqstd Delivery Date Proposal-Order Hdr to the Date Profile - QUOTE001 (Offer).
When I enter this date type it gives an error message saying ... "Choose the key from the allowed namespace"
Please advise me how to overcome this problem....

Hi Fakhruddin,
Make your entry in Customer namespace. Instead of REQ_DLV_DATE give a name starting with Z_ like ZRQ_DLV_DATE.

Problem with basis support pack 12 ERP 2004s 700 release

I am into implementing support packages. basis support package 12 implementing under dialog work process. it has strucked in middle. when i am trying to open new sessions it is going under short dump. and also before login in to system it is showing the error
"status 0020 of the user interface SAPMSYST missing"

Hi Mahesh,
This problem what your facing is typical of implementing of support packages. Mahesh , there is a problem with the import . What you can do is reimport the Support Package thru OS level.
tp import <support patch> <sid> pf=\usr\sap\trans\bin\TP_DOMAIN_ACD.PFL tag=spam -Dclientcascade=yes -Drepeatonerror=8
After You Import Restart the Server by stopping SAP. hope this solves your problem

Serious problem with base station and/or computer internet connection

Hi,
my powerbook does not detect my base station (another computer at home does, so the base station seems to be working) but it does detect other networks.
I have allready tried to reset the basse station (many times) but it doesen't help. Have tried to re-configure in Airport Admin Utility there is no base station (I cannot push configure) - when I push "Other" - it does not accept the base station password (have also tried "public" as they suggest in "help").
The same thing happens in Airport Setup Assistant: it does not detect my base station. It has happened before that the base station "disapears" and I could fix it now it seems to be unfixable. Can anyone out there help me???

Yes, thats correct
Then you should be able to access the base station two ways, from the Mac via ethernet or from the pc. I am assuming that your "pc at home" is a pc running windows (if the 2nd computer is also a Mac it would be even better).
Anyway, you can administer the base station from the dark side, you may want to check out the following:

If you haven't upgraded your pc to XP Service Pack 2.
As far as running the admin utility from the Mac, connect to the base via ethernet. You have indicated that you can do that and get to the internet, therefore you should be able to see the base station with the admin utility. If you are seeing your neigbor's that is wirelessly. But the wired connection Mac->Ethernet->Base-LAN-Port should allow the base to show up with a Name and an IP Adress.
Once in the admin utility for the base station (either by pc wirelessly or by Mac via ethernet) you can then make changes. You should be able to see the Base Station Name and the Airport network name. You can then change the channel: 1, 4, 7, 11 (try three apart from each other). Is your base set up to configure TCP/IP using ethernet, configure using DHCP (select the Internet tab at the top to get to this page)? On the Network tab page, is the base configured to Distribute IP addresses, Sharing a single IP address using DHCP and NAT?
As far as your Mac's System Network Preferences, you are not selected to Connect using PPoE are you? Are you set to "Automatically join an open network"? Are you configured for Using DHCP? To join a specific network (your airport network name and password)?

Music streaming to Airport Express problem, second base station needed?

Hi,
I want to stream the music throughout my house. I have 1 time capsule, 2 airport Express units (latest model) and a Mac Mini for the music. On the other hand, I have a macbook, which needs the time capsule for back-up (also wireless). Everything is connected and Internet is working, although, when I am "streaming" music, this does not go so fluently.
Should I need to buy another airport base station and use it only formusic, whilst keeping the Macbook connected directly to the time capsule?
I use 2.4 Ghz and 802.11n (b, g compatible). Airport express units are set up as "extend the wireless network".

Pdp authentification problem eplus/base

I´m using an iphone 3GS with the latest iOS (5.1) for a couple of days now.
However, I cannot connect to mobile internet. Everytime I try to connect there´s a pop-up stating "pdp authentification problem".
All relevant connection data seem to be correct.
I´ve been using a Sony Xperia before with the same SIM-card with no problems.....
Has anyone got an idea how to solve this problem.

Problem solved!!
You have to give BASE a call and they have to activate certain functions within your user profile.
It´s a technical matter they don´t talk about before you ask the BASE-service dept.
- shame on BASE in this case.

Problem accessing base station

I have performed a hard reset on my base station, but cannot seem to connect to it (to upload new firmware, or to connect it to my existing network - connected to a d-link hub, using the same connection as I am using to type this message).
Every time I run Airport Utility, I get this message:
Please make sure your Apple wireless device is plugged in and in range of your computer or connected via Ethernet and try again. (-6753)
I have tried switching ethernet cables (from a MacBook Pro connected to a d-link hub), unplugging, using a different machine (an iMac Intel), no luck. What else can I try besides kicking the thing to pieces and filing an insurance claim (kidding!)?

Give this a try:
Open Airport Utility
Under the "File" menu choose "configure other"
Enter IP address:10.0.1.1
Enter password: public
That should allow you to configure Airport any way you want. You won't be able to use the setup assistant, so pay close attention to every warning you get each time you click on "update."
If Airport isn't recognizing your password, you may need to reset it before starting this process. If you use the tip of a pen and hold down the reset button for about 5 seconds, the password will reset to "public."
I have a Dell PC running windows xp. This seemed to work for me.

Problem with base and target document

Hi all,
My customer is telling me that the "copy to AR invoice" function in the sales order doesn't link the documents together (but randomly).
Have you ever seen this before ? If yes, what was the scenario ?

You can reproduce the issue by
1. Copy the Sales Order to AR Invoice
2. Cut the Customer Code
3. Click on some other filed in header
4. Paste the Customer code again
5. You can notice the Base Document Icon get greyed out, which means you lost the document connectivity.
This is the behaviour in SAP B1 of all version and patches, this is not a bug.

Custom Sync Problem (Unable to customize SYNC)

I am trying to transfer ONLY few iPhoto events from my computer to Apple TV. iTunes, though, ignores any changes in SYNC settings and no matter what I check or uncheck to synchronize; the results is the same. It starts syncing everything, TV shows, music, podcasts...I haven't waited long enough to see if it syncs the photos (the only thing I wanted to sync at the first place).

If you have enabled a custom sync (See This) then the tv will only sync what it is told. Using the movies category as an example, you would check 'selected movies' and then simply have all the movies unchecked in the list below.
If you are doing this, then are you sure the tv is actually syncing what you think it is, both synced and streamed content is listed on the tv. If you don't want streamed content listed on the tv then go to the summary tap in your sync options and check the box 'Show only synced items on my Apple TV'.

Masthead customization problem....

I am facing problem with masthead Customization. I hv included one image, three external links in masthead area using par file customization through NWDS.
Now at the same time, I was trying to customized masthead area by using theme editor to remove the underlines displyed on the external links.
However, my changes done are not reflected in masthead area after logout for users ?
Will I be able to still use theme editor after doing customizing with the help of par file ?
I hv tried removing chaches, logged out and logged in several times, bu no luck ?

If you didn't changed class tags from html there should
be no problem. There are tags :
<TD nowrap class="prtlHdrSep"> </TD>
<TD nowrap class="prtlHdrWelcome"
<TD class="prtlHdrBrandImgContainer"
etc.
I changed my masthead a lot, it is completely different
from original but since I didn't change class tags from
tables I can still change some settings from theme
editor.
If you just want to remove underlines from your custom links try adding this to your jsp :
<style>
a.customlink {
text-decoration: none;
</style>
and add your links like :
<a href="http://www.sdn.sap.com" class="customlink">my test link</a>

Transporting Customization Problem

Hi All,
I am facing a problem in Transporting Customization changes (deletion Customization) from Development Server to the Test Server.
We have same customization maintained in Dev Server and Test Server.
For Example
Initially:
House Bank BNK01 - payment is maintained in Country CN and this customization has been transported to the Test Server earlier.
But later this customization is deleted in the Development Server and this change shud be transported to the Test Server.
How can it be done?
I tried to add all the entries in the list(which does not contain the related House bank.ie.deleted) to the Transport Request and transported to the Test Server but customization in the Test server cant be deleted.
note:I need to clarify this first and only then i can tranport it to the production server.
Do clarify this.

(1) Create the 'to be deleted' configuration again in Dev. This should create a transport A
(2) Come out of the screen entirely
(3) Delete the configuration - save this in transport B
(4) Move both A and B to Test.
What exact transactions are you referring to ? Some of them may not be transportable.
