Problem in Edit Message Payload in AE

Hi all,
actually we have a problem with editing the message payload of a failed message in the adapter engine.
Messages Editor shows "The version you want to edit is locked"
Log in NWA shows "EditorDynPage: loadMessage()
Thrown:
com.sap.aii.mdt.api.exceptions.OperationFailedException: VersionAlreadyLockedException in Method: AdapterFrameworkMonitoringBean: getTransferMessage( Query ). The version you want to edit is locked. Message: Version 1 of message 4eb86ecc-fb6b-0c10-e100-80000a93147c(INBOUND) is already locked for editing.; To-String: com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.version.VersionAlreadyLockedException: Version 1 of message 4eb86ecc-fb6b-0c10-e100-80000a93147c(INBOUND) is already locked for editing."
How to delet te lock,  the nwa => problem management => locks shows no locks?
regards Ralf

Hi,
In NWS, you should also have a tab "Database Locks". See detail in this [SAP help|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nwpi711/helpdata/en/48/b2e0156b156ff4e10000000a42189b/content.htm].

  • Edit XML payload of messages before restart

    Is there a way to edit the payload of a message before to restart it?
    I allway get the following message: "you can only edit header/body parts"
    Thanks,
    Laurent

    No. But you can correct your mapping program (if this is at fault) and then when you restart the message the updated mapping program is used.
    If the problem is actually that the received data are incorrect then it is the responsibility of the sending application to resend the correct data.

  • Enqueuing JMS_TEXT_MESSAGE with Java creates strange message payload

    Hello everybody,
    I'm trying to enqueue a JMS_TEXT_MESSAGE. There is no problem doing this with PL/SQL, but with Java the payload of the enqueued message seems to contain garbage. I tried a lot but actually I have no idea why this happens.
    Here are the different user_data values of the enqueued messages:
    Java: (((; ; 0); ; ; ; ; ; ((; 100; ; ; 27); (; 200; ; 1257325532555; 24); ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; )); 14; ; )
    PL/SQL: ((; ; ; ; ; 0; ); 14; This is a test; )
    As you can see there are a lot of differences. The length of the string (14) is correct with Java, too, but where do the other values come from ? And what happened to the message text ?
    Environment:
    - Oracle Database 10g Enterprise Edition 10.2.0.3.0
    - JDK 1.5.0_06
    - Used libraries
    -- $ORACLE_HOME/rdbms/jlib/jmscommon.jar
    -- $ORACLE_HOME/rdbms/jlib/aqapi13.jar
    -- $ORACLE_HOME/jdbc/lib/ojdb14.jar
    -- $ORACLE_HOME/jlib/jta.jar
    This is how created the user:
    CREATE USER strm_admin IDENTIFIED BY strm_admin;
    GRANT connect, resource, aq_administrator_role TO strm_admin;
    GRANT execute on dbms_aq TO strm_admin;
    Here is the test class that creates the strange payload:
    package test;
    import javax.jms.MessageProducer;
    import javax.jms.Queue;
    import javax.jms.QueueConnection;
    import javax.jms.QueueConnectionFactory;
    import javax.jms.TextMessage;
    import oracle.AQ.AQQueueTable;
    import oracle.AQ.AQQueueTableProperty;
    import oracle.jms.AQjmsDestination;
    import oracle.jms.AQjmsDestinationProperty;
    import oracle.jms.AQjmsFactory;
    import oracle.jms.AQjmsSession;
    public class AQTest
    public static void main(String[] args) throws Exception
    String url = "jdbc:oracle:thin:@server:port:sid";
    QueueConnectionFactory qcf = AQjmsFactory.getQueueConnectionFactory(url, null);
    QueueConnection connection = qcf.createQueueConnection("strm_admin", "strm_admin");
    AQjmsSession session = (AQjmsSession)connection.createQueueSession(true, 0);
    // create queuetable
    AQQueueTableProperty tableProperty = new AQQueueTableProperty("SYS.AQ$_JMS_TEXT_MESSAGE");
    session.createQueueTable("strm_admin", "testqueuetablejms", tableProperty);
    // create queue
    AQQueueTable queueTable = session.getQueueTable("strm_admin", "testqueuetablejms");
    Queue queue = session.createQueue(queueTable, "testqueuejms", new AQjmsDestinationProperty());
    ((AQjmsDestination)queue).start(session, true, true);
    // enqueue message
    TextMessage message = session.createTextMessage();
    message.setText("This is a test");
    MessageProducer producer = session.createProducer(queue);
    producer.send(message);
    producer.close();
    // close
    session.commit();
    session.close();
    connection.close();
    With this PL/SQL the message payload is correct:
    DECLARE
    v_enqueue_options DBMS_AQ.ENQUEUE_OPTIONS_T;
    v_message_properties DBMS_AQ.MESSAGE_PROPERTIES_T;
    v_message SYS.AQ$_JMS_TEXT_MESSAGE;
    v_message_id RAW(16);
    BEGIN
    v_message := SYS.AQ$_JMS_TEXT_MESSAGE.CONSTRUCT;
    v_message.set_text('This is a test');
    DBMS_AQ.ENQUEUE (
    queue_name => 'strm_admin.testqueuejms'
    ,enqueue_options => v_enqueue_options
    ,message_properties => v_message_properties
    ,payload => v_message
    ,msgid => v_message_id
    COMMIT;
    END;
    Can anyone help me, please ? Has anyone experienced the same problem ? Or can anyone reproduce it ?
    Any help is appreciated.
    Roland

    Finally I got it fixed !
    The library "orai18n.jar" hat to be included in class path. Very strange, that there was no exception or any hint to what was missing.

  • Problem with Edit IN function between LR 2.3 and PS CS3

    I recently upgraded my system to a Windows Vista 64 bit Core 2 Quad with 8 GB.  Lightroom now works and loads images the way it should. I do have one major concern and need any help possible.
    I am using LR 2.3 in 64 bit and PS CS3 ver 10.0.1 (which is 32 bit - loads slowly but otherwise works fine).  The problem I am encountering is in LR Develop / Photo / Edit In...  - using any of the menu items:
    "Edit in Abode Photoshop CS3"
    "Open as Smart Object In Photoshop"
    "Merge to Panorama in Photoshop"
    "Merge to HDR in Photoshop"
    "Open as layers in Photoshop"
    Photoshop opens but no image(s) are exported and I receive the message in LR - "The file could not be edited because Adobe Photoshop CS3 could not be launched."
    Photoshop, however, was launched but no image exported and so I can't work on the image in PS.  The appropriate TIFF image is created in LR for the first two menu items - nothing for the last three menu items.
    I can create a partial work around by setting PS as an external editor, however, I can't use 4 of 5 of the menu items.
    All the menu items work fine in Windows XPpro.
    Any help is much appreciated.
    PS I also tried the most recent Window 7 RC with exactly the same results.
    Thanks
    Bob

    Don
    I wasn't shouting - I just cut and paste the exact text and font in its original size and type as was shown in the message.  Never had a thought that someone would be offended by cutting and pasting exactly what was in a message - it would appear that John Williams saw it for what it was.
    However, sorry if I offended you.

  • Problem with 'Edit Locally' command -- Due to IISProxy?

    Hi,
    We have a problem with 'Edit Locally' command since we are using Windows Authentication. Our architecture is:
    SAP EP 6.0 SP2 Patch 28 (Solaris)
    IIS Proxy (Windows 2003)
    The situation is:
    If we access to SAP Portal using old url (directly to Solaris) using form-based authentication we do not have any problem with 'edit locally' command.
    However, if we access to SAP Portal using IISProxy and Windows Authentication we get an 'Operation failed' error message.
         Java plug-in console shows the following message:
    cargar: clase com/sapportals/wcm/app/docapplet/DocApplet.class no encontrada.

    Where is the problem? Is due to authentication method? SAP Portal or IISProxy configuration?
    Thanks,

    Thanks for your comment,
    Now, we have tested with version 1.5.0_01 plugin version but the result is the same: 'Operation failed'
    This is a very important topic to solve before installing Windows Authentication in a productive environment.
    Has anybody any solution?

  • Wsdl validation fails for request message payload from custom schema

    Hello. I am having a problem which I cannot seem to work around. I have defined a schema to serve as a template for the request message payload of a bpel process. The schema is very simple:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <xs:schema xmlns:logininfo="http://sru/logininfo" xmlns:xs="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" xmlns:sru="http://sru/profile" targetNamespace="http://sru/logininfo" elementFormDefault="qualified" attributeFormDefault="unqualified">
         <xs:import namespace="http://sru/profile" schemaLocation="http://sru/profile.xsd"/>
         <xs:element name="logininfo" type="logininfo:logininfoType">
              <xs:annotation>
                   <xs:documentation>Needed information for SRU Login</xs:documentation>
              </xs:annotation>
         </xs:element>
         <xs:complexType name="logininfoType">
              <xs:all>
                   <xs:element name="email" type="sru:emailType"/>
                   <xs:element name="password">
                        <xs:simpleType>
                             <xs:restriction base="xs:string">
                                  <xs:maxLength value="32"/>
                             </xs:restriction>
                        </xs:simpleType>

                   <xs:element name="xpath" type="xs:string"/>
              </xs:all>
         </xs:complexType>
    </xs:schema>
    (The schema depends on another, which I have placed at the end of this message).
    I import it into the bpel process designer with no problems.
    Upon defining the payload of the request message type to be the {http://sru/logininfo}logininfoType, the WSDL file does not validate anymore:
    Validating WSDL...
    Validating E:\OraBPELPM_1\integration\jdev\jdev\mywork\SRU\BPELProcess5\BPELProcess5.wsdl
    Schema type not found: QName(http://sru/logininfo, logininfoType)
    Validate WSDL: has errors.
    Any ideas?

  • Sending the fault message payload to sender using BPM.

    I have the scenario where BPM splits a file into multiple record and each record calls webservice.
    For a successfull call a success response is generated by web service . For a failed transaction a fault message is sent back which needs to be delivered to the sender's mail ID.
    I am not able send the fault message payload which contains the error message details to sender ..
    Please suggest what can be done for such a scenario. Is there any way by which error details can be sent to sender?

    Hi,
    Check the blog http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/weblogs?blog=/pub/wlg/22017.. [original link is broken] [original link is broken] [original link is broken]
    You can handle the exception on your web service and model a Notification task so that you can send e-mail notification to the sender in case of exception

  • Function to get message payload by MESSAGE_ID

    Hello Experts,
    Can you please give me the name of the function to get message payload by MESSAGE_ID?
    I was trying to call SXMB_SELECT_MESSAGES, but it returnes just technical info about message (like sender, receiver, etc), but not the payload.
    Thanks in advance for your answers!

    Akshay, but the main (original) problem still remains: How I can get an access to System Error description (Connection timeout, Connction refused, etc)?
    If I will build a custom Alert in my UDF and then will call SALERT_CREATE to raise an Alert, than how will I fill the Alert Body with Alert Description?
    I can have either the "native" Alert, containing just the Alert Description or "custom" Alert, containing some business data. But I need both.
    So is there any way to access the System Error description in mapping?

  • Delete message payload

    Experts,
    I have a simple proxy to file interface, and since its  messages contains classified data, the message payload (or entire message) must be deleted (or encrypted). so it is not be available (for any user)  while using regular monitoring tools as sxmb_moni (ECC and PI), RWB-CC monitoring.
    how can this be done?
    Regards,
    Uri

    Hello,
    Here are two potential solutions:
    1.) Encrypt the payload so that it will be unintelligible when it is received in PI
    2.) Restrict the access of the users as shown by Michal's blog:

    Hi Jilan,
    Actually where do you want to get this count..
    In sender file adapter config , we have option counter..
    -- or you can have a UDF to count the no of msgs ..
    -- you can use count function to root. that can be assigned toone target field..
    Recordsets per Message see in the below link
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/e3/94007075cae04f930cc4c034e411e1/content.htm
    Hope this helps. Do get back to me in case you need any more details...

  • Misuse of the "Edit Message" functionality in forums.

    Hi,
    I have been observing for some time now that some users are actually misusing the option of editing their forum post. This is partly due to the fact that the time stamp for the message is not updated when the edit is done. It still shows the time when it was posted.
    Especially in the ABAP Programming Forum, there's a mad rush (among a few people) to be the first one to answer the question. In this hurry they are often making a post with an incorrect answer. Later on when they are told that what they have said is incorrect, they are simply editing the post and inserting the correct answer, which is known by then. This is sometimes resulting in multiple correct answers to a question and in the occassional case where the user wants to reward the correct answer, the points would actually go to these edited messages, because of their timestamp.
    In a few other cases, the questions are being edited by the guy asking the question. Especially after having received some answers. When the question changes, the answers aren't correct any longer, obviously. At a later point someone attempting to answer the question would be left wondering why this question had had so many wrong answers!!
    It sounds too string a step to take to remove this functionality. But may be we could allow this with some reservations. For example -  all the content that has been deleted from a post can be highlighted (a function that is similar to the Modification Assistant in SAP or the Reviewing feature in MS-Word).
    What say ?
    Regards,
    Anand Mandalika.

    Hi Everyone,
    Wow, the point system is driving good and bad behavior.
    We are watching/being part of an evolution of a system.
    We have switches actually to deal with the problem.
    1) Users can edit their message as long as their are no replies to it.
    2) Users may edit their posts but only for a specific amount of time (for example 15 minutes) after posting a message.
    Problem with number one is if people are posting really fast your window of opportunity to change your post is small.
    Problem with number two is you still can play the game and post as the first one and wait 10 minutes for the correct solution to come in and correct your solution in the remaining 5 minutes. But we could set the window to 10 minutes.
    Let me know which one you prefer and I will change it accordingly.
    Will be interesting, Mark.
