After I got this error I upgraded the Kernel from patch level 159 to 179,
After that I restarted the update again but the system is still running on u201CIMPORT_PROPERu201D and dose not given any update,

We are applying in support packages in SAP R/3 4.6C HR Development
(TFI) environment. We planned with installing all the SP stacks
starting from 1 to 9.
-Updated kernel, tp , r3trans and SPAM level to latest level.
We received the following error in Import_Proper step of Support
package upgrade. Though the step has been repeated after making sure
that we have all the required files at OS level, we go this error
repeatedly.

While playing around I have deleted the transport from the tp buffer
and added manually, before doing so I made a backup of tp buffer at OS
level and I got following error though I reverted back to backed-up
copy.
- Error in phase: IMPORT_PROPER
- Reason for error: TP_BUFFER_INCONSISTENCY
- Return code: 0008
- Error message: Wrong sequence of Packages in the tp buffer (e.g.
SAPKB46C52 )
I then tried to disassemble the package separately and reran the
import queue. Now I have RC 8 on that support package.
When I did R3trans -l on the datafile it completed successfully.
D:\>R3trans -l \usr\sap\trans\data\RB46C52.SAP
This is R3trans version 6.05 (release 46D - 27.10.08 - 16:32:00).
R3trans finished (0000).
I verified the size of file "CSR0120031469_0023301.PAT" and it is the
same as mentioned in SSP.
Let us know is there is a workaround.

Is there a way to load SAS Data sets into Oracle Tables through SQL loader/SQL Dvlpr Migration Workbench/DataPump?
MS Access has facility to import SAS Datasets into its .mdb files,
but Would greatly appreciate if anyone could suggest a direct load into Oracle

Datapump can use Dump from Datapump only. So, I don't think this utility could help you.
SQL*Loader could be useful if you can extract from SAS a formated file (for instance CSV file).
Oracle SQL Developer can help you to migrate data from MS Access to Oracle.

How do I prevent errors importing foreign characters into subtitles for DVD studio pro?
I have figured out just about everything necessary for creating subtitle tracks in several foreign languages, but the only problem is that some individual characters in some languages (like the "open quotation mark" symbol in Lithuanian!) do not import properly into the subtitle track. I can type or paste the symbols in manually, but this means doing it hundreds of times in several different languages, and defeats the purpose of using the system I've created.
Does anyone know how to import some of these odd characters.
I import characters using a text file saved in Unicode-16, and I set the language of the track to the proper language (for instance, Lithuanian).
I can't find the answer anyway, and really am stumped!!

i think i might have figured out a solution. it's a quirk in the program. i noticed that sometimes the quotation marks DO actually import, but only if they are in the middle of a sentence. they only FAIL to import at the beginning of a sentence. so, what i did was to paste a space before the beginning of every sentence with a weird low-down quotation mark, and it imported fine.
and it also seems to kill two birds with one stone, because sometimes it seems that DVD studio pro cuts off a few pixels at the beginning of a line -- so with a space inserted it just cuts off...nothing.

Problems converting / importing PSE9 catalog into LR4

Im having problems converting / importing my PSE 9 photos into LR4. I went through the "File / Upgrade PS..." without success. It seems to work...ie LR4 closes down and then creates a new catalog but then a box appears saying that the photos could not be imported because they are missing or damaged. I then thought that my PSE 9 catalog is not set up right BUT LR4 tell me that the 27023 photos could not be imported for the reason stated. In other words LR does see the PSE catalog because it give the correct amount of photo's. I then did a small test by dragging some photos from my PSE 9 into LR4 and that seems to work. All the keyword tags move across. Is there a problem or dont I understand the process?

If I remember properly, it will not be an onerous task. What Exiftool will do is transfer the notes to some other metadata field that LR uses ... and I believe it can be done as a batch job, thus one execution of Exiftool does this for your entire photo collection (assuming its all under one parent folder).

Problem to import wmv files into imovie 08

I have big problems to import my wmv files into imovie on my brand new imac24"
have installed flipmac pro , and they can not help me on help desk.
I have also upgraded Quicktime to Pro.
Files look grey so can not highlight .
Trieed to open in Qicktime and save as Mov. Stil could not have Imovie accept it when i draged or tried to import
Flipmac suggested i also download imovie 0.6 but cant find it on apples support page. only 06 updates.
Any one who can help?

The "Save As..." QT Pro File menu option only places the current audio and video compressed data in an MOV file container. It does not re-compress the data to a fully support QT compression format. Try converting the file to DV, MJPEG, H.264, etc. instead.

Problem in importing request on PRD Server

Hi,
I am not a BASIS Guy and i am doing it on behalf of it. I had released the requets form Dev Client and then i am importing it to the PRD Server and i had used Tcode STMS in which there is field specified import request . I clicked over it and then specified the client i.e. PRD Server and then it gives the msg that IMPORT IS RUNNING .
It has been almost 40 minutes now and it is a single report which is taking a lot of time to import.
I had checked on the Cust & Development Client that it shows the request has been released successfully.
Is there anything which i am doing wrong ? Please guide me for it....

Problem with importing premiere project into after effects

Hi. When I import premiere project into after effects CS4 the files I speed up 2x (for example) look likes on the snapshot below, and they are not in the correct places.
what can I do?

Then don't speed them up... This is "as designed". AE and Premiere are not compatible in their tiem-remapping/ time-stretching, so tehre is no way to move between them without losing that info.

Problem with importing scanned photos into iPhoto

I have an Epson scanner that scans photos into the JPEG format. However, when I try to import these photos into iPhoto I am told that the file format is incompatible with iPhoto. This is odd since photos in iPhoto ARE in JPEG format.
Can anybody help?

Did you scan these photos as grayscale b/w photos? If so that's the reason. iPhoto does not support the grayscale mode when it has the *+Dot Gain 20%+* profile added to it and that's what scanners use.
Rescan all b/w images as color and they will be accepted by iPhoto. Or you can download the Automator workflow application, Convert to JPG and Embed sRGB profile, from Toad's Cellar and drop the files onto the application. This will batch convert them to jpegs in the RGB mode with the sRGB IEC61966-2.1 color profile.

Can't load/import converted video into itunes for sync

I converted a video into ipod format by 2 diff software. They seem to have converted correctly as I can play them in apple quicktime. I tried to bring them into itunes for sync, but can't bring them. I tried dragging into movies, tried import, tried add files. Non of them working. Can anybody help me in this, ho can I bring the file into itunes? I am using itune 7, should I go back to old ver (6.x..)?

I just converted some TV shows with iSquint, and drug them over to movies and presto they were there... I then when into Info, changed them to TV shows and they moved over to TV Shows.
It works.

Hi,
If the import fails with the message that certain instances of the CIM class SAP_AssociatedContext were not imported, repeat the import. These errors are caused by an incorrect sort order in the export file. When starting the import again ignore the warning that data already exists. Choose Import anyway.

Importing a XSD into MDS

Hi,
I have an xsd which is to be imported into the MDS database (I have the SOA-MDS connection as well). How do i do that, because i cannot find any option to import it directly into the MDS ?? Please let me know the steps ....

Hi,
Oracle/Middleware/JDeveloper/integration/seed , please create a folder caller apps under this folder....And under apps, you can have folders if u want or place the artifacts directly inside the apps folder. After placing the artifacts, lets say an XSD file, Create a JDeveloper New Application, under that create a New SOA Project, Right click on that SOA project and say Project properties, Now go to deployment, Now say New, and now select the archive type as JAR File and give a meaningful name,
and say OK, And now you can see under the Project Output ; there are two things called Contributors and Filters. Select the Contributors and select the folders (which contains the XSD's you want to add). And then come to filters, and select the Artifacts you want to add to the MDS under the folder. You are good till now, Finally save the JAR File. Now right click on the application and say application properties , go to Deployments, say New, select the archive type as SOA Bundle, And give a meaningful name and say OK. Now select the bundle you have created and say Edit and go to dependencies, and here you need to add the jar file which you have created and save it. Now Right click on the application and say deploy to soabundle1 (the soa bundle which you have created ) and say Deploy to SOA Bundle and select the SOA Server and deploy it.
Now you should be good to use the Artifacts which are in MDS...GO to your MDS COnnection...to apps folder...you will see the artifacts in the folder...

How to import YouTube videos into FCP for editing

I am doing a television interview, and we want to cut away to a YouTube video. Is there a way to download and import YouTube videos into Final Cut Express?

It's a clip from CNN (with all credits etc. added). When one refers to it as a clip posted on "YouTube", then people understand the quality will be poor.
I've watched television go from everything shot on a tripod with clean, meticulous editing rules, to almost anything goes. It has to do with cultural reference.

Problem importing home video into iTunes for ipod touch

I recorded my son's marching band concert on a Flip Video camera. I have tried importing it various ways (directly from flip, importing to windows media player, burning it to dvd, putting the file directly into the itunes library folder) but every time I try to either drag and drop or add file to library, nothing happens. Nada. It just doesn't appear. Is there a way to do this?

The file must be an mpeg4 video meeting these standards:
H.264 video, up to 1.5 Mbps, 640 by 480 pixels, 30 frames per second, Low-Complexity version of the H.264 Baseline Profile with AAC-LC audio up to 160 Kbps, 48kHz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, and .mov file formats;

Problem in importing request

Hi All,
I installed new system ECC 6.0 with EHP1 ready on Windows 2008 cluster environment and Oracle 10g database.
The installation completed successfully and fail-over is also happening perfectly. I did STMS and there is no inconsistency as well. I made three system configuration in which my DEV system is Domain controller for this all 3 ERP system.
Today when I tried to import a request into PRD, it's not starting. Only the truck symbol is showing in status, but no progress. I guess tp is unable to write the file data into database.
The import monitor show 'import started' as a status. also there is no log file generated.
Because of this issue I am unable to start my EHP4 upgrade also.
