Hi experts..
am uplaoding the material master data using the LSMW using the recording method.
everything is going fine but,when i process the session,am not able to see the data on the screens.
views are not being selected automatically.
so.. any one can help me in uploading MM01 data using LSMW?

just chck out the steps...
1.after doing the recording hav u select the button DEFAULT ALL.
2.check out for field mapping properly.
3.in the 13th step hav u checed out the box keep folder options..
i think now u hav got the answer.

I have encountered a peculiar problem in MM01 material master upload. The
BDC program uploads data using Session method. The problem is when i
process the session in foreground mode the data uploads successfully, but
when i process it in background mode it gives the following errors in the
log.
'Control Framework: Fatal error - GUI cannot be reached'.
'Runtime error RAISE_EXCEPTION has occurred'.
When i debugged the program i found that this error is encountered when
data is being input in 'Purchase Order text' editor of MM01 transaction.
There is no problem with the BDC recording or the program as i could see.
The only problem what i believe is the system is unable to call the text
editor for inputting purchase order text data in background mode.

Lsmw problem: for mm01 basic data text two language

Dear,
I want to realize, in mm01, under 'basic data text' tab, have English and French text.
I use lsmw, direct input,object:0020, method:0000, program name:RMDATIND.
The basic data text function should be done in structure BMMH7.
Now, I add some codes for BMMH7 after entering 'Display Conversion Program'. But the codes will be covered when the rules changed.
Could you please tell me how to do the same function in 'Maintain Field Mapping and Conversion Rules'?

Problem with MM01 recording

hello friends,
i was trying to do LSMW with recording of MM01,
everything looked fine till the last step, data was imported and was appearing in the 13th step,
but when i executed the session created in the last step, with extended log,
the screen appears asking to enter the views,
which i have already done while recording.
IS LSMW NOT SUITABLE FOR MM01 WITH DIFFERENT VIEWS ???????
did any one come across this problem.

Problem in Transporting LSMW project

Hi,
We created LSMW project in development environment. Then we created Transport request through menue <b>Extras -> <u>C</u>reate Change Request</b>
We successfully transported this request to test environment. When status is checked through STMS_IMPORT everything was fine. However when we tried to open project through LSMW, it didn't exist.
Can anyone suggest, what could have gone wrong ?

if your problem is not allready solved.
You can not transport LSMW-Project - I do not know what this icon is for.
You have to export the project and than import on the new system.
use these icons.

Problem facing in LSMW ......

I am facing a problem in LSMW . While creating ..... in the very first step( i.e., among 13 steps,that is in Maintain Object Attributes) when i executed .....other window is opening where i have checked BATCH INPUT RECORDING ....in that i have given recording name as ZVIJAY.....After giving, when i clicked recording overview....it is giving an error as NOT A VALID VALUE in the bottom scrollbar of the Screen.....WHY??? .... (I have given project name , object and also sub project name correctly)

It is because the name of the Recording which you have given in the before step is different from "ZVIJAY" which you have entered now... Change either of the value to proceed.

Problem : Customer Master, LSMW, RFBIDE00, Sales Area

I'm having a problem loading customer data using LSMW, RFBIDE00 & tcode XD01. I can successfully load Sold To customers (account group Z0001), but have a problem trying to load ship-to (Z0002).
The problem I have is that the batch input session created by RFBIDE00 is giving an error saying that "No batch input data for screen SAPMF02D 0310". I have checked in the display converted data and all the required fields for the screen are getting populated in BKNVV structure. Also i check the internal table before RFBIDE00 does the BDC insert statment. The internal table FT has all the required data(FNAM and FVAL) for program SAPMF02D screen 0310, but still when i process the session it is giving an error saying that no input for "No batch input data for screen SAPMF02D 0310".
I have noticed that few people had similar problems a while ago, but i could find any reply which offers a solution.
We're running 4.7 and LSMW version 4.0.

Thanks for your reply. I have checked the entries in the internal table FT and it does have BDC data for screen 310 and also it has the correct sequence. For some reason, the values are not getting transferred to screen 310 during call transaction. I have no problems in creating the customer manually using the same data as in LSMW internal table FT and also i tried recording transaction XD01 with the same data, again no issue there also.

i have coded a bdc in which i m using mm01 and extending the material to the different plant ,but here in some cases depending upon the material the views get changed for solving this i have to deselect and again select the views which i want and also i have to provide the valuation type for this material, so plz suggest me how to rectifie the views problem.......

Do one thing.Develop some temporary BDC programs for different material with required views.
Finally develop a final program.In that internal table loop ,put case statement on material
when 'mat1' .
take the relevant code from above temporary progarms and copy here.
when '2'.
endcase.
At last delete all temporary programs.

Problems with MM01

Hello,
Did anybody work on recording (LSMW) MM01?
When I run the batch in foreground, it gave an error on the "Purchasing" tab of screens. It is saying "you cannot accessing purchasing" or something like that.
Any suggestions please? Thank you.

In my opinion, for loading master data, BDC should always be your last option.
I would search for a standard batch input/direct input program first if none is available then search for a BAPI.
Material Master - RMDATIND / BAPI_MATERIAL_SAVEDATA
Customer Master - RFBIDE00
But, when you use standard programs, you cannot populate custom fields. For example, extended address fields for customer. So, you can run a small BDC to update the master record or use one or two func mod to do the same.

How rectify this problem in MM01 transaction in ECC6.0 ?

You can do Edit -> Modification Operations -> Switch Off Modification assistant and then try changing it.

Assign file creating problem in BAPI LSMW

Hello Experts!
Iu2019m trying to upload PO (Header/Item data) though BAPI Method. Iu2019ve one file having Header and Item data. At Assign Files Step when I try to assign file to PO Item Data. System gives me a message
(File 'C:\MySAP\ABAP Programing\LSMW\PORec.txt'
only be assigned to one source structure.)
Looks like system is not letting me give the same file which Iu2019ve given to PO Header data. Can anybody please tell me how I can assign the same file for Header and Item data.

Problem with LSMW - G/L Account Centrally for 2 or more Company Codes.

I used the Object: 0010 GL A/C Master Record, and the Method: 0001 Hier. structure.
I can create massives Accounts but I can't create Same Accounts with differents Company Codes.
Please, somebody can explain me, how create Same Accounts with differents Company Code in masive form with LSMW?

Problem during lsmw - bdc

HI,
There is reqirment from client to change the aternate bom text in mass.
Now problem is using lsmw or bdc value is not getting change during recording. this problem is specific to this field stext (alternate bom text) only.
BOM's were created using maste recipe, so i had tried to change the bom using master recipe, here data is change succefully using lsmw but problem is inactive bom's, because inactive bom's can not be change using c202.
Any input regarding above issue

I just did a quick recording to see if I could change the Alt.Text in BOM header & I was able to.
Below is the values of recording (only partial i.e. from the time I was in header screen & when I clicked Alt. Text). Please ensure you click on Alternative Long Text during your recording & then enter at least 2 lines of text as that is one of the pre-requisite. You can ask your abaper to compare the below with your recording to see if is the same & incorporate the below in your BDC program. It should work fine.

Suppose in one customer having multiple mail ids. I wants to delete those multiple mail ids from one customer how I can do this using LSMW.

LSMW or BDC will only add / append data.
Write a program:
list of Address number of the customer from KNA1.
delete all entries from ADR6 for those customer numbers.

Error in the LSMW for vendor master using standard batch/direct input

I am facing the problem in the LSMW for the Vendor master data. The vendor is initially created for the company code 350 by using LSMW. NOw when I try to uploasd the same vendor using the same LSMW for the company code 450 then I get the error in the Bach input creation as follows:
