HI Gurus,
i am new in sap sd field i just put my foot in this field.
i got business blueprint for sap sd implementation i have folloing problem in pricing please help me out.
1.Do you require the functionality to create user-defined indexes in the pricing table? This will enable you to search for your prices using company-specific search criteria such as what operation input ?what prices on a certain day?
2 Do you ever base the prise of an item on the cost to manufacture or purchase the material?
3. Eill you need to pas pricing information to the sales informatiom system?
how to configure above requirement in business blueprints?

I install Oracle Business Process Architect 11g again but with local DB. there is quick start example. when I share blueprint that project, It is ok but when I add a repository server and share a project inside it nothing happen.
I dont know why???? please help me.

Generating Business Blueprint

Hi,
I seem to be having problems generating the business blueprint, we are doing an HCM project and i have defined the following in SOLAR01
1. Organizational Units
2. Master Data
3. Business Scenarios
under the business scenarios, i have assigned the business proccesses from the HCM component.
my question is, is there any transactions that must be assigned to each individual business process?
the business blueprint comes up blank, but i have the structure, the master data and the business scenarios.
what am i missing in the setup?

If you are in Business Scenario Section in SOLAR01 - make sure you select and give the following information.
Organizational Unit
Master Data
Business Processes
eg:-
if you select Sales as Business Scenario
once you click on Sales - in your right hand side you will see Proj.Documentation Section there you upload your business process Document/Blue Print and Blueprint-Relevant Tab should be checked.
and make sure you have given the following.
In Organizational Units
Sales Organization, Distribution Channel, Division, Sales Area, Sales Office and Sales Group
In Master Data
Customer Master Records, Product Master Records, Condition/Pricing,Cusotmer Employee Master..etc.
In Business Process
Sales Order Processing

Getting error while generating Business Blueprint Document for Project

Hello Experts,
I hv created a project in Solution manager 3.2 through solar_project_admin . Now iam in the phase of defining its Business Blueprint . I hv completed the steps, at the end when iam generating Business Blueprint document ,following error is being displayed:
Blueprint document cannot be created. Check the selection
Message no. SOLAR110
Diagnosis
A Business Blueprint document created for the selected selection options would contain no structure elements. It would be empty, so it is not created.
Procedure
Choose less restrictive selection options, especially the option
"Print Structure Elements: Complete Selection" in the "Options" tab.
I hv checked this error and the option displayed above in the error message but no such option is being displayed anywhere,can anyone plz help me out with how to resolve this problem?
Requested to revert at earliest as iam stuck with this since many days,My email id is [email protected] .

Thanks for ur reply.I hv now again tried to Generate Blueprint Document with unselecting option Only with Documents but in the structure selection when i tick on all the options given in tat structure then regenerate Business blueprint Document ,following error message is displayed:
Error 130: Business Blueprint cannot be generated
Message no. AI_SOLAR08130
For this error no long text/ explaination exists .But when i try to generate Business Blueprint Document with unselecting option Only with Documents but in the structure selection unticking on all the options given in tat structure then following error message is displayed:

Generate customer specific Business Blueprint in SOLMAN

Hi there,
i tried to establish a customer specific layout for the business blueprint that is generated by solution manager. starting off with the document header i replaced the logo in the solarblueprint.dot and .doc and uploaded both files to solution manager. after generating the blueprint there is the customer specific logo on the first page. on the other pages, there is still the sap-logo.
does anyone have a quick solution?

i won't get any points beceause it is my own question... but who cares
the problem is that the template-document has a new chapter starting after page one, which then is relevant for the rest of the document. so, the solution is pretty easy. for both, the .doc and the .dot document:
1. Adjust the template header at page one.
2. Click on the normal text field.
3. Click a couple times on enter until page 2 shows up.
4. adjust the header on page 2.
5. save the document.
6. upload the documen.
7. create your bbp from solar01.

Creation of business blueprint doc doesn't work

Hi all,
I've got a big problem and I don't know how to solve.
It couldn't be difficult. Please help me!
I tried to create a business blueprint document for my project. I selected structure elements and all that stuff and started it. Then I get the message that it worked correctly and was saved to directory.
But when I open the .doc file it is empty. Why???

Hi,
You have to run the macro "SAP_BUSINESS_BLUEPRINT" within
the MS Word document in order to get the business blueprint document generated. Choose menu item:
Tools->Macro->Macros, select "SAP_BUSINESS_BLUEPRINT" and press "Run" button. This should work.

Generating business blueprint with shortcuts in Word 2007

Hi,
Was wondering if you have experienced problems generating the business blueprint in Solution Manager where Word 2007 is used? I have included the u201CInsert shortcutu201D option, which seems to cause the issue. (As this is not a problem when this option is not selected). When running the macro in 2007, an error causes Word to close. When recovering the document, the business blueprint is incomplete and the links are not generated correctly.
This problem does not occur when generating the blueprint, with the same option selected, for Word 2003.
I found a suggested solution here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/282830. However, this did not solve the problem.
Any suggestions?

After debugging a bit more, it seems that the programme crashes when calling:

However, an extract of the recovered business blueprint shows that the url is created. Although it is not the original filname url, which should be "1.1.1.1.1 Create BP" (instead of the 32 character string specified below).

Problem in Assigning the Business System

I have problem in Assigning the Business System at Configuration when I am trying to configure the Communication Channel. I had created two Software Components and also Two Technical Systems (Third Party) and Business System and I imported the SWC into repository and done with the design and now I am not able to Configure, can anyone help me out as this is very urgent.

Problem in pricing determination in VA03

Hi All,
I am facing in pricing determination. There is inconsistency problem for pricing determination. For one of condition type ZCN1, we have maintained the price in condition record(VK11) but even after than the condition record does not get copied in the order. This is happening for some of the orders and not for all orders and not for all items for one order.
In VA03 T.code
E.g
Sales order:30000123 line item 15
The pricing date is 29.04.2007, but pricing in ZCN1 condition type could not be determined. In the pricing analysis screen it shows the confition record for the condition type ZCN1 but displays ''condition record found but not set'' we cheched for other orders/ line items this price was successfully copied. we are having such inconsistencies often.
Can any body suggest some solution.

If it's a standard configuration that is not working, I would suggest to move this question to SD forum. Otherwise, if you have any user exits in pricing determination, the problem might be there. If it's a small piece of code, please post it here for a review.
Also in the pricing condition analysis take a look at what keys are used for the price determination. Often the problem is that the keys are incorrectly populated in the program.

Problem while working with Business Indicator in oracle BPM11.1.1.7

I am working for process analytic and BAM dash board for our application. currently i am having following problems
I have define business indicator of type counter, measure and dimension.I am able to see counter and dimension business indicator(BI) Both in data association editor and custom dash board editor in work space. However , measure BI appears in brown color in data association editor and i am not able to perform any mapping to it. additionally, Measure BI does not appear even in work space customer editor .
Any solution for above problem is welcome

Problems with pricing in Internet Order screen(CRM E-Commerce 5.0)

Good afternoon !
        We are using CRM 5.0 with CRM E-Commerce 5.0, and we are experiencing problems with pricing in the order screen.
        When we create an order and insert one item at this order, this item is processed and the price is calculated and shown correctly, both in the item and in the table of totals at the right corner(where is the Total Net Price, freight value, etc).
        If we change the quantity of this item, or insert more one item(with the same or other product), the price turns to zero, both in the item(s) and in the table of totals mentioned above. Also, in the table of totals, the freight value remains being calculated, even in this cases when the prices is turned to zero.
        What can be happening in this case ? What can I check to determine the cause and solve this problem ?

Generating Business Blueprint in Word 2007

Folks:
Does anyone have a fix for generating a Business Blueprint in Solution Manager when the document is generated in 2007. When you run the marco to build the blueprint, it does not link the documents and the blueprint is incomplete. This is not an issue if you are using Word 2003.

In MS Word 2007 change Micro Trust setting may help you.
In menu>Word Options>Trust Center>Trust center settings>Enable All Micro.

It is not possible and advised to share blue prints of client. The best you can do is to download SAP Best Practices from SAP Service portal. Your colleague in BASIS team can help you download that, if required. Refer to the business blueprint made by SAP, that should give you good idea.

Can anybody suggest me what would be content to be added in the Performance Tuning section of blueprint. Think abt all BI is made up of an dhow to tune them..
Some hints:
1 Performance tuning for data loads : ( number range buffering, parallel loading..pseudo delta..chnging technical properties of tables if rec >100,000...IDOC clogging...etc)
2) Performnce tuing for Queries Aggregate...Cube modelling, OLAP cache....efficient multiprovider queries.etc.)
MEntion about transactiona whoich you will require for these things..such as RSRV..RSRTRACE..STO3n..ST05..etc...

I was reading an article on SAP and came across the word business blueprint.Is this something like your functional specifications or entirely different from that ?
Googled the word and came across a few blueprints but I am unable to co-relate it with SAP.
Kindly shed some light on blueprint in SAP and also request you to send some material on this, probably a sample blueprint.

Hi Jessy,
Business Blueprint is a phase in the project where you study the current business process of the client in As Is stage and then try to provide a solution to the business requirements in the To Be stage using the Best Practices suggested by SAP. The org structure, Transaction types, business steps, Gaps in the solution etc are maintained in the Business Blueprint doc.
Based on the BBP doc the realization is done in the realization phase.
Functional specifications are created when some functionality needs to be developed to meet the business requirement. The functional specification gives the functional requirement and the output desired from the technical development.
