Problem in quality server after transport

HI,
Yesterday i have transferred a function group from development to quality. It's transorted successfully .All the function module under this group are active. but the status function group shows 'Inactive' because in main program the include is not active. when i go for a syntax check it is correct. while activating it it says  <b> "the object is in the worklist of D_tal"</b>
N.B. It was earlier transported to quality . it was working fine in quality. later somebody has deleted some function module from quality and also some unicode check issue was there in quality . so we corrected it in development and created a new Transport request for that function group and transported it.
   Why that error "the object is in the worklist of D_tal" is coming.

Hi,
When you transport request into Quality, there will be an option to overwrite existing (Force into system) objects in that system. Ask you BASIS to do the same.
Caution: Transport request objects belongs to that Function group only. It should not impact any other object.

    Users are moving the transport requests in NQA (quality server) using STMS tcode and Basis team is moving the trasnport requests using TP command in operating system level.
    There are some transport requests that are released and are moved only to NQA server but not in Production server.
    After the NQA refresh from Production server, we need to re-create the trasnport route for NQA server
    in NQA using SE06 and STMS.
    Now users want to re-transport the requests again in NQA server that was moved to NQA before the system copy but they are not able to make it.  In the transport queue, users are able to see their transport requests but they are not able to re-transport.
    When basis team try to move the same transport requests using TP command in operating system level, it failed with  error:
    - "Transport request is not in buffer".

    "STMS --> Request -->Delete (the request number)" method delete the transport request from transport queue and from the cofiles/data directory of the operating system and then  " STMS --> extra-> other request-> add" allow us to put the transport request back to transport queue in NQA server. Once the transport requests are in queue, we can re-transport all of them one by one or in group.
    Question: Is it the right way to re-transport the request in NQA (first delete if from transport queue and then add and then re-import in NQA server).
    Id there is any other way to re-transport the requests, pls suggest us.

  • Problem with theme service after transport to QAS

    Hi,
    when i click the link on BSP page inside portal, iam getting following error. the link is working outside portal.
    its working on dev r/3 and portal. i got the problem after transport of the package to QAS, i checked all the services and alla are active.
    http://XXXXXXX:7035/irj/portalapps/com.sap.portal.design.portaldesigndata/themes/portal/main_theme/controls call was terminated because the corresponding service is not available.
    Theme is active and its applied for every user, i have 30 BSP pages in portal and only this page is showing this error, this page will be launched as popup from portal.

  • How to assign automatically system id in Quality Server (portal - transport

    In the development environment we have ECC and CRM/EP server and in Quality we have only one server ECC/EP. Portal is working fine in development server(CRM). I have imported transport package from Development Server to Quality server successfully using transport package (Import/Export). But in QAS. only links are displayed. When I click getting exception error. Then I changed system name of QAS for few static pages.
    In case of  iviews in the QAS, Systen name parameter has the Development server system ID(e.g. ECC_DEV_100, CRM_DEV_100.) Is it possible to assign QAS system name (ECC_QAS_300) to iviews in Quality Server. For few static pages I have manually assigned QAS system ID ECC_QAS_300 in Iviews. but still getting exception server.

    what you call system name has to be the system alias, and this alias has to be the same between DEV/QUAL/PROD environment.
    Your portal application will look for data/BAPIs/etc... with this alias. Your portal application will know on which environment it has to retrieve data/BAPIs/etc... will be defined in each system object you have defined for each environment.

  • Probleme to run server after SAP NetWeaver 7.01 ABAP Trial Version install

    Hi all,
    I have a probleme to start WAS and MAxDB after SAP NetWeaver 7.01 ABAP Trial Version.
    I installed the all and then connect to SAP System without restarting Windows. There was no probleme there all was perfect and I can connect to SAP.
    Next, I restart Windows,open SAPManagementConsole, the use the "Start" function on "NSP" icon and system telle me that I haven't the right credentials ... unbelivaible because it told me to use my OS user account and password I used the same user/password than the previous one, when it worked.
    So I tried everything that come to my mind but I didn't found the solution.
    I also tried to use sapstartsrv.exe under C:\SAP\NSP\SYS\exe\run folder the only thing is that the Windows service "SAPNSP_00" command line was changed but I don't thing that it is with the good parameters.
    So, I really don't know how to start this system and I would be pleased if you can help me !

      Normally there should be a possibility to start this via
    Start -> All programs -> SAP NetWeaver 7.01 ABAP Trial Version -> Start application server
    or via C:\MiniSAP\NSP\SYS\exe\run\startSystem.cmd

  • Field Exits problem in Quality system after trasports

    Dear Freinds,
    We did Field Exit changes in Developement system and the changes are working perfect when we tested.
    Where as we transport the changes to QA(Quality system) the filed exit is not working. We checked the code, and the code was moved to QA. We set the flag for field by sitting Basis guys (field status as YES).  Even though field exit changes are not working in QA.
    Could you please suggest is there any other settings we have to make sure to work this feild exit in QA...? And in case any manuval settings in QA the same we need to do in prodcution manuvally..

    the profile parameter should be set on ALL application servers & system should be restarted. If your exits do not work after that, just try to deactivate/activate your exits directly on QA system. It will certainly help.

  • Problems with password server after opendirectory master ip address change

    I had to change the IP address of our opendirectory master and am having trouble now. This is on Tiger Server 10.4.5
    I followed the directions to use the "changeip" command and the clients use DHCP-supplied LDAP server information.
    This seemed to work in that I could use 'id username' to see the network users on a client, but could not login.
    I was browsing the workgroup manager using the inspector and noticed that there were two entries under AuthenticationAuthority for each user "ApplePasswordServer" and "kerberosv5". Each of these had the old IP address in them. I changed them by hand and now logins work.
    The problem is that, new users created with password server passwords are being created with the old IP address, lame. Second, changing them all by hand is also lame..
    So can anyone tell me what I did wrong and how to change the server IP? I noticed that it exists in /Library/Preferences/DirectoryService/DSLDAPv3PlugInConfig.plist and /var/db/authserver/authserverreplicas as well. Just changing those pooches and rebooting didn't do anything but put them back the way they were.

    it turned out the problem was due to a mismatch in the ACLs between the ASA and the remote site 2911.
    We had no matching line in the ASA config for traffic between the office and the extranet server.  On the office router, we had:
    permit ip 192.168.1.0 0.0.0.255 host 3.3.3.3
    So, on the ASA, we had to add:
    access-list office101 line 8 extended permit ip host 3.3.3.3 192.168.1.0 255.255.255.0 
    I'm not sure why the behaviour was different between the ASA versions i.e. why we did not experience any issues when we had the misconfig at version 8.4(3) but it caused problems with higher versions.  Also, cannot explain why it only really seemed to be one site that was affected (we had the same config mismatch at other sites which were seemingly alright) 
    However, ultimately, it was the config mismatch that was causing the problem and, after rectifying that, we were able to upgrade and our remote site VPN connectivity remained stable.

  • Problem in Integration Directory after transport

    Guys,
    we did a SLD transport (only LD objects), with DEV and PRD groups. It had some error messages because the SWCV's from the Dev XI were not created into PRD XI, but apparently, despite the errors, the products and SWCV's were created.
    After that, we've done IR and ID objects transports, through File System.
    Apparently, the IR part was OK.
    In the ID, it correctly changed the Business Systems from Dev Configuration to their respective transport targets. However, if we try to open any Adapter, it gives an error message:
    Attempt to access the 1 requested objects on 1 failed. Detailed information:  com.sap.aii.ib.core.roa.RoaObjectAccessException: Unable to read object Adapter Metadata SOAP | http://sap.com/xi/XI/System (b38bcd00-e471-11d7-afac-de420a1145a5) of type AdapterMetaData from application REPOSITORY on system REPOSITORY. Detailed information: Software component version with GUID b38bcd00-e471-11d7-afac-de420a1145a5 does not exist
    And if we try to create a new Adapter, when we go to select adapter type (SOAP, File, RFC etc) it says
    Search Result for All Component Versions
    No objects found!
    So, we can't select any adapter type.
    Has anyone had this error before?
    What did we do wrong in the transport?
    Was it the error from the SLD transport that caused this?

    Hi Henrique,
    Go and import the SAP BASIS 6.4 or 7.0 Software COmponent Version into Integration Repository.
    For this tpz file you can get from -
    Copy XI3_0_SAP_BASIS_6.40_09_00.tpz from <Components DVD>/XI /XI_CONTENT to directory /usr/sap/<SAPSID>/SYS/global/xi/repository_server/import/

    I have imported a mapping from Development to Quality.I have tested the scenario in Development it was working fine.But in quality when i imported and tested its not working when i execute the interface

  • Problem Reloading Info cube after Transport

    I have made some changes to a cubes dimensions. Then I transported these to Test and loaded the cube there, all worked fine. Then i deleted all the data from the same cube in production before transporting it up.
    In production my cube was clean and ready to be reloaded. When kicking off individual info packages I am recieving this message.
    "No requests are deleted from your info cube ZEXTSERV (Provisionally, as routine, and formula evaluations for the runtime of other selection conditions can occur.
    I then gives me the option to either continue or cancel. I pressed continue and the data loaded fine........because I knew I had already deleted old requests before transporting.
    ***all my loads are full loads....not deltas.
    Will this cause a problem if the info packages are in a process chain???
    I am using BI.7

    Did u deleted the total content from the cube? I mean both Fact table as well as the Dimension table as well?
    I dont think that there will be any more problems in ur cube...
    Just look at one more load to ur Cube.. I hope that this message wont come once again....!!!

  • Problem installing formsReports server after HTTP Only install

    Hi all,
    Well I have finally got the http only install to run and work correclty but when I go back to install the Forms / Reports server I get an error:
    "Specified key was not found while trying to GetValue"
    I hit the Retry button but no success. If I do an Enterprise install, Forms / Reports get installed. Is this a bug or a know problem with a work around?

    I forgot to mention that I am using Widows 2000 and Oracle9iAS 1.0.2. I could manually install forms and reports server however, I am looking to see if can be fixed to work correclty through the 9ias installer. That way I don't have to go in and edit the httpd.conf files for /dev60html etc.. For some reason the HTTP only installation isn't putting in a proper registry key but if you do a Enterprise Install the key is being inserted. I have formated the disk and installed 2000 and then installed 9ais so I know it isn't a correpted system.

  • Adjusting Database in Quality server

    Hi All,
    I have changed the datatype of an existing database from NUM4 to INT4 and adjusted the database utility before activating in a development server. When I moved the transport request to quality server, the transport request got terminated in quality server giving the return code 12. The error is:
                                                                                    Table conversion  06/01/2007 06:16:31   (12) Canceled     
    The database table contains data before this transport moved and I am not having authorization to adjust the database in quality server.
    Please provide me any pointers for this problem.

    Actually the the transport got terminated during the adjusting phase which should not happen.
    The steps 5 and 6 failed in the below mentioned steps:
       1 Initialization         
       2 Dropping of indexes, renaming of original table               
       3 No action
       4 Activation of transparent table
       5 Conversion of data to new table, deletion of renamed table
       6 Creation of sec. indexes

  • Update rules deactivated after transporting cube with zero elimination on

    Hello,
    The update rules were deactivated in the quality system after transporting the cube with the zero elimination flag switched on.  However, the update rules in development were not deactivated when setting the zero elimination flag.  So, the update rules in the "From" system were not deactivated.  This only happened  in the "To" System.  Does anyone know why?

    If there is any change you did on cube, you need to re-activate your update rules.
    Re-activate your UR and transport it. It should be ok.
