Problem in standard workflow of claims in ESS

Hi ,
I am functional consultant and I am facing problem in standard workflow of claims WS18900023 .
When approver clicks on approve button it gives message that ' Validation is succesful 'and it does not get approved.
When approver clicks on Approve button it should say that request has been approved and that workiten should go from his inbox but this is not happening .That workitem still shows in his inbox with same status of to be approved .
Kinldy help in resolving this issue .

Hi Archana,
I assue that you have activated the BADI GET_NEXT_APPROVER.
Follow these steps.
=> Request for claims from portal.
=> Then in SAP run the T-code HRPBSIN_AC_ACRP and check the request status. It should show as To Be Approved.
=> Then logon as manager and approve the request from UWL.
=> Now agian in SAP run the T-code HRPBSIN_AC_ACRP and check the request status. It should show as Approved. ( If your maintaining Multi level approval process status will be Partially Approved).
=> Once it shows status Approved, Run the T-code HRPBSIN_AC_INFU, it will show the list of requests to be update in IT0015.

Document Distribution DMS, problem with standard workflow WS20000104

Hi,
In our document distribution process we stacked with the problem, when we run the document distribution (via tcode CVI8) we got the error of workflow WS20000104. After some search at SCN we found that there is the similar issue, described in the thread: Document distribution workflow in error. Solution which was offered and marked as worked is to enable/activate Result Parameter check box, but in our case this check box is disabled and when we try to edit the BOR in order to activate Result Parameter check box the system asked to input Access Code.
Is there any way (note) to enable this check box without access code?

In transaction SWU3 there is the following situation:
Maintain Runtime Environment is completely green, including sub-categories;
Maintain Definition Environment is red because of Check Entries from HR Control Tables;
Maintain Additional Settings and Services is red because of Maintain Web Server;
Classify Tasks as General is completely green, including sub-categories;
Guided Procedures is red because of Maintain Guided Procedures Gateway.
Could you, please, explain what do you mean under «workflow settings are activated», how parameters described above are related to workflow and may be related to our problem?
If described situation can be assumed as activated, what should we do now? Otherwise, how to make these settings to be activated?

Problem in leave workflow working in ESS

Dear All ,
I ahve modified standard workflow for leave WS12300111 . I have 2 levels of approval . The step which goes to approver is standard task TS12300097 which is calling DUMMY method of CL_PT_REQ_WF_ATTRIBS class .
Now my problem is suppose 100 people have applied for the leave after managers approval it workitem will go to HR . So in HR's UWL he/she will have 100 workitem . Now supose HR clicks on first workitem in by logging in to ESS . when HR clicks on pop-up comes on the top it has one table sort of thing , here all the 100 leave request r getting diplayed .
I want Table to dislay only the Leave request of an employee belonging to That workitem . Please help in this regard . This is very high priority issue .

No offense taken...no need to say sorry. I have never had to implement training and events, so no first hand experience there. As for the time and/or leave related ones though, I have never seen them used "out-of-the-box". Again, that's just my experience with probably 7-8 ESS projects since around 2000 or so. Lastly, many clients I have had either (a) don't like workflow, so remove it (b) don't have knowledge in workflow or resources for it, so they drop it out. But even in reading (SAP books, posts on the internet, presentations, etc), I have always seem them referred to as "skeleton" workflows to be further fleshed out. Interesting that your experience is much different.

Standard Workflow for ESS changes.

We have a requirement where we need to change the Employee personal data and it has to be approved by the manager and then update the database.
We can do it by custom workflow, but is there any standard workflow template for this process and any standard screens for Manager approval process.

How to use standard workflows in my company?

Hi Experts,
I want to know how do i use standard workflows for my company. I have searched forum, but coudn't find proper answer. I have seen some standard workflow numbers(eg.WS12300111). But when i search for them it wont works. It will pop up "Choose Workflow Template" window. When i select the module there it opens up the empty folders.
What is the meaning of this?
Can i know what do i need to do for overcome this problem?

Hello rashika ,
To differentiate between standard and custom workflows .
All custom workflows would have first three digits lying betwee 900-999 ( called prefix number range )
The number range 90000000 - 99999999 is reserved for customer developmen t and the range 00000000 - 89999999 is reserved for SAP.
Or to know precisely what exactly is the number range of custom workflows in your system , check through tcode OOW4.

How to activate the standard workflow :ws10000051

hello,experts
    here is my problem:
    I want to activate the standard workflow for document parking :ws10000051 .
     I have already activate the event type linkage in SWE2.
    And then , i maintian obwa , obwj , obwb, obwc, obwd.obwe,obwf.
     In obwa,i choose posting release , subworkflow is ws10000055.
    In obwe, Swf amnt rel is ws10000052.
    In obwf , the org object is the position cfo (myself), before i assign this ,i create a position in ppoce.
   But, when i use f-65 to park a document , i can't receive any workflow in sbwp. I also find "the status of Document Parking (Frame), Parallel is error " in my outbox.
   Can anyone tell me the reason ?

    you are right . when i check swel ,i found ws10000051 : evnet put in the queue . more detail message said :The OPEN_DI of BTE 00002214 could not determine any function modules.
when i check the workflow log (view with technical details), the activity :' determine subworkflow for amount release of document etermine subworkflow for amount release of docu ' status error . the message said :error in workflow customizing for document parkig (transaction obwe).
i don't understand this , because i have already maintian obwe. i made a new entry,like this:

Error in PR standard workflow WS20000077

Hi Friends ,
I have activated the standard workflow WS20000077 which is for PR release procedures . When i am creating a PR it is triggering the workflow with an error " Import container contains errors (are any obligatory elements missing?) " .
I have checked the forum for the same error but i did not find ant exact solution for that .
In SWEL , the object key is being populated by the PR no . So i think this is the problem due to the Release code which is not getting any value in the event container after the event " Releasestep craeted" gets triggered .
So please guide me on the same how to resolve the above error .
I am using ECC 6 version of SAP .

I have tested the workflow in SWUE by assigning the Release code value manually and the workflow is triggering without any error .
So as you told i think some SAP Notes needs to be implemented to resolve this issue .

Adding Disclaimer text to standard web dynpro screens in ESS

Hi,
I need to add disclaimer text to the standard web dynpro screens of ESS. The disclaimer text is the same for all screens and there are around 20 different screens where I need to put the same disclaimer text on. Can anybody suggest me the best way to solve this problem.

u can specify this for each and every workset for ESS.
u used the Additional Inforamation text under each workset.
to change the text do the following
In SAP R3 ecc system go to SPRO->IMG->cross application components->Homepage framework->Areas->define areas->double click on define areas->double click on area key
(work set)
under area description tab
u can found following
Area Description heading --->Additional Information
Area Description (long text)--->
u can change both text accoriding to ur requirement and specify The disclaimer text .
this is done for all workset. one modificaton is finish.
relese the created request.
restart the j2ee server.

If you would have done a little searching you would have found it. You can find all the relevant BOR's in the repository. You can find examples of linkages in SWEHR2 and if the right one isn't there you can create yours in SWEHR3.
Please put in a little effort of your own in stead off taking the easy way out and ask for everything here. Also let us know what you already did to solve your problem so you don't get the answers you already tried.

Tht's correct because update is a cumulative one. When you worked on ESS 1.0, it had single folder as you mentioned but when you upgrade to EHP4, it also included portal content for updates in b/w i.e. EHP2 and EHP3. You'll notice that roles/worksets are all the same that were used earlier and only the iview/pages that are affected/added in each ehp upgrade are listed under that corresponding ehp folder.

Move In Standard Workflow (ISUACBMOVEIN) : Automatic Owner Allocation Proc.

Hello Experts,
In the automatic owner allocation process, when we move out the tenant the owner is supposed to automatically move in with the pre-configured offset. In my case the workflow was not being triggerred so we defined the the linkage of the events (tcode: SWETYPV). After doing this we got an exception
"Object MOVEINDOC method MOVEINOFOWNERCREATENODIALOG cannot be executed" with error EQ067 (Check the reference for move-in document &1).
When I see the standard workflow I see that it analyses Contract Account and verifies what category it belongs to Residential or not and splits it into two paths one for Residential and one for non residential. Then it passes through "template Movein Doc for". Here it provides a Move in Doc Reference as 000000004712 for non residential and 000000004711 for residential customers in a container operation.
This is where the problem is. These donot exist in Move in / move out tables. So how do I approach now
1) Is there any standard reference document already present in SAP system which can be configured?
2) Do I have to copy the standard workflow and edit the template to give different reference document numbers?
Or is there any other way to solve this issue?

we are using different method to create a owner move-in MOVEINDOC->MDTMOVEINOWNER which doesn't required the reference.

Error in standard workflow 200000075

Hi Experts,
I know many people had a problem with the customizing of the standard workflow 200000075. I read all the posts, triple-checked the customizing and it is still not working
When I start my workflow (independent if I start it by creating a PO or by testing it manually) the status is set to "error" (can not see more information about this error).
Message no. WZ703
In the workflow log with technical details I can see following information:
 workflow created
 workflow started
error exception occured
error process_node
error create
error create wim_handle
error create via WFM
error evaluate_agent_via_rule
error AC20000027
 Error Message Created for Admin
error executing flow work item
error executing flow work item
If I check the WF in transaction SWUD the Event raises the WF, it starts correct.
In transaction SWETYPV I created an entry for the BO BUS2012 realesestepcreated with my workflow and active linkage.
The WF Diagnosis (SWUD) tells me following:
WD:287 Task 'TS20000168' has no agent assignment.
Can anybody give me some help with this?

Dear Christoph,
As i understand that the Agent determination standard Rule which you are using 20000027 is not working.
Behind this is a Function module ME_REL_GET_RESPONSIBLE which is being called.
For this you need to maintain entries in the tables T16FW and T16FC.
First you maintain the table T16FC in which you will maintain the
Release Group, Release Code,
Workflow Role - Here Space = No Role Resolution.
 '1' = Role Relevant for Workflow
 '9' = Role Resolution uses a User exit
 EXIT_SAPLEBNF_001 for getting the Users.
I quote from the documentation available through custzomisng here
The Workflow indicator is also used to control role resolution:
"1 - Role Resolution with Group, Code and Plant (T16FW)"
Here you use a role resolution that is supplied in the standard system. To do so, you must assign the release point in the section Workflow (see below).
"9 - Role Resolution via User Exit"
Here you use the customer exit M06E0005 to define a role resolution of your own.
You need to maintain these through customising mode and the path is as follows :-
SPRO-> Materials Management-> Purchasing-> Purcahse Order-> Release Procedure for Purchase Orders-> Define Release Procedure for Purchase Orders.
You will also need to maintain the table T16FC through the customising process the same way as given above.
This should definitely solve your issue.
and in T16FW the entries need to have entries like
Release Group, Relese Code, Description,
OT = Here you need to give 'US' for user type
 'O' or organization
 'P' for Person
 'S' for a Position
 'C' for a Job
Agent ID = the agent id created through the Organizational object .
for e.g you can have
release group = X1
release code =C1
Description = 'Release one'
OT = 'US'
Agent ID = 'CHRISTOPH' - SAP User Id of a particular person

Activation of Standard Workflow (WS10000051)

Hi
We have identified a standard Workflow (WS10000051) for the Payment release in FS-CD
Problem
When I am trying to activate the same in IMG (PFTC) it is giving the error saying Object not found.
Questions
Is there any way to activate the same to get in PFTC Tcode?
Is it required to activate all tasks associated to the workflow or else only if we activate the Workflow is it enough?
I want to know how we can activate the workflow and what are all the steps required in configuration to start the standard workflow once the Business transaction triggered.

we can use the transaciton code 'SWDD' to activate the workflow, give workflow number there. and click on the activate button on the applicaton tool bar.
