Problem playing back dvc pro video

Hi,
I'm currently having hugh problems in playing back DVC pro 50 format in Logic Pro. The logic Pro i had is in a mac with 2.26 duo core intel with 8g of ram. It seem that the video never play in the right speed. It's a problem on the new release of logic Pro?

No HDV decks will allow you to monitor external video from FCP through them UNLESS they are in the recording mode. So they just don't support this like DV devices do.
You need to look at a card for this. Least expensive would be the Intensity cards from Decklink. I like the MXO from Matrox too for this too... does more output, but has no input... I use an Io HD for that... and turn that slow rendering HDV to ProRes.. much faster rendering, and visually lossless.

When I import my files only the audio plays back not the video. If I export the sequence its there?
I am new to Premiere having just downloaded the 30 day trial yesterday, I jumped straight in and imported all of my files from my video camera however in Premiere only the audio plays back with the displays just showing a black space.
Out of curiosity I dragged three or four shots into the sequence editor and then exported them and played this through VLC and the video was there?
As I said I am completely new to Premiere having only spent around 3 or 4 hours with it in the past, I read a few forum threads around similar issues but couldn't find any solutions and as I am trying to edit together a short film for a college project due in soon I need to try and find a way to fix this A.S.A.P
Any help would be appreciated and if theres any more info I can provide please let me know.

Having trouble playing back GO PRO HD Hero 2 .mp4 video

Im currently running OS X 10.5.8, 2.6Ghz Core 2 Duo, 4GB Ram, 500GB HD 7200rpm.
I just picked up the GO PRO HD Hero 2 Camera and my computer can not play back the 720 or 1080 type videos without having major lag/skipping issues in either QT or FCP. I have tried everything I can think of to speed uo my computer but can't seem to solve the issue. Has anyone else experienced this or have any ideas? It seems like my computer should'nt have any issues playing back these video files.

Audio plays back faster than video in Quicktime formats on Mac

On both my iMac and MacBook Pro, both running Mavericks, 90% of videos dependant on the Quicktime codecs / engine have an issue where the video plays fine, but audio is almost always too fast. This results in the audio being of a higher pitch and drifting further and further out of sync. It affects videos played in Quicktime, the Quick Preview in Finder and even web-based video such as in HTML5 players. It's really weird that I can't find anyone else that is having this problem, and yet it is affecting both my machines! It's really frustrating as I work with video all day, and have to preview and review everything in VLC, which plays everything fine. Any ideas at all? I'm finding so many weird bugs and quirks in Mavericks I am strongly considering downgrading back to Mountain Lion, but I am dreading having to do two complete re-installs again.

Which version of AME do you use on which OS version?
If you are using VLC to playback, please update to the latest version. I remember the older version had the MXF audio playback issue. It seems this issue was fixed on the latest version.
If this is not the case, could you try playing back this file on Adobe app such as Premiere Pro? Do you see the same problem?

IPhone and iPad cannot play back some shared videos.

I have a 3rd gen. iPad, an iPhone 4S, and a 17 inch MacBook Pro, all with the latest OS and software. I have library sharing turned on on the MacBook, and an extensive video library of TV shows purchased on iTunes. Some of the episodes, usually from the same season, will not play back on the iPad, and cannot be listed on the iPhone. All of the files are located in sub folders under the same "iTunes Library" folder. They all have the same .m4v file extension. I cannot see a pattern that might help me figure this out, so I am asking for help.

Problem playing back HDV from FCP HD

I am doing my first HD project and am experiencing a problem I cannot solve.
Using both a Sony HDV HC1 and Sony HDR FX1 as playback devices, I cannot get the video to play back from FCP using HDV1080i60. Under Video playback, the options for the HDV are grayed out for the only firewire options:HDV(1440 x 1080) 30fps and 25fps. However, the option exists under Print To Video, and when chosen, will send HD1080i60p video to the cam>hi def monitor.
I have tried every possible setting on both cams to find a solution. Using DV NTSC I can get a work around. The cam's will both capture and control via FCP. Thanks for any advice.

Problem in my MacBook Pro Video Calling in Facebook

I have problem when trying to start video calling in facebook, it always says "The video calling software encountered an error while starting."
and it's very annoying because I can't use video call on facebook.

In the Finder, go to your Home directory which is labeled with a house icon and your username.
Open the Library folder.
Open the Internet Plug-Ins folder.
Delete the FacebookVideoCalling.bundle file.
When I tried to look for the said file, it is not inside the Internet Plug-Ins folder.
Is there any problem with my mac? I am using MacBook Pro mid 2012, 10.8.3

Audition 1.5 has problem playing back MT session if I have a ton of stretched clips

I might be doing something AA is not designed to do, I don't know. Perhaps (I wish) there are a lot easier ways of doing this, but I have a band that recorded, with a song that has 8 vocal tracks, singing as a group. However, they don't all start every word/phrase exactly at the same time, but should - therefore I use the clip stretching abilities in MT to cut the track up each place it's off and stretch it to fit. Normally I don't need to stretch it much at all, but after that tedious job is done the overall project sounds a lot better.
However, now I have this session that has maybe 150 stretched clips (pretty crazy, huh?) and it takes about 30 minutes or more to open. Problem is, now it won't play back decently for some reason; certain tracks sound like a bunch of garble and warble - nothing that can be made out. I do not know if all the stretched clips have anything to do with it. The wave files appear the same as before - example, you can see where a louder portion of audio is but it is nothing synced with what I hear on the speakers.
I should also mention that I had an under-rated computer run AA one time and the same thing happened there so I thought it just got tired and so I restarted AA and it worked fine after that. Here I also restarted AA but the problem is not better - worse if anything.
Some tracks play fine, others don't. Another thing of interest is that I have only stretched the vocal tracks; by far the worse garble is on the instrument tracks; they even play back as quirks and garble in Edit View if I go there.
Anyone have any solution why this happens? Am I over doing AA in some way?
Also, is there a more automated way of matching and syncing vocals? I'm talking about them being .1 - .01 seconds off the beat; is there some way AA will automatically stretch clips to match beats with - say - the beat markers?

I would do that, soon as I'm done with stretching/timing adjustment; thing was I was still 10 seconds from the end when it started acting up. But Just as a safe precaution in case it would do something like that I had already backed up a couple of times so thankfully I don't need to do it all over again!
So, you don't think that "set beat markers" (or something like that) can be locked to beats in MT? For example if I run the "Find and Mark" beats in EV and then use those beats to snap to the closest beat in MT, stretching the file as need be in order to get it there.. ? Maybe I'm dreaming out of this world.. Next time I'll have to force my clients to sing until they sing it dead on right!

yes you need to install adobe flash player on your mac. go to www.adobe.com and download the most current flash player onto the mac.

Problem to play-back on-demand videos more than 10 minute

I like to play on-demand video in Flash media server but FMS just play 10 minute of total video duration...!!!
My video format is F4V and I type this address on the Sample FMS video-player. http://localhost/hds-vod/myvideo.f4v.f4m
Note: I install FMS and Apache Separate.
When FMS install Apache everything is OK, But when I install single FMS and adter that install Apache http livestreaming is ok and hds-vod has issue.
This issue is very important and I try very time to solve it.
Please advise me to solve this problem I am appreciative of any help

Premiere Elements 10 - can't play back imported HD video (from Canon HV30) in Quicktime or FCP

After playing around with the trial version, I eagerly purchased Photoshop Elements 10 Premiere for its ability to edit video from my Sony Cybershot camera (Final Cut Pro would not do this) and for its ability to import video from my Canon HV30 HD camcorder (Final Cut Pro is really fussy on this).
Also liked the option of importing without breaking in to individual scenes. FCP and iMovie won't do this.
So, after the first import of a tape, I discover that the imported file will NOT play via Quicktime, and when I imported that file into Final Cut Pro, I got the eternal circle icon which lead to a crash.
What's going on here?

IMovie not playing back edit master video on viewer

I recently dumped about 140GB of various clips into iMovie, and I hit a couple of snags and need some help.
First let's go with the easy question 1st. Is there way to categorize or arrange clips into groupings before you start editing? I'm sure there must be a Clip Bins option or something similar like in Final Cut and Adobe?
NOW THE MAIN PROBLEM...
Several of the movies I brought into iMovie play fine if you run them from events pane, but if you make even the smallest edit and try to run the edited footage, there is nothing. The screen is black, and the play head won't move at all. What's up with that? The original footage and thumbnail files seem to run fine on their own.

Problem playing back canvas on external monitor

I am using Final cut express HD
When I play my final sequence (the one shown on the right hand screen of a standard layout, the canvas). All i get from my external TV is the audio, i cant get any picture. However if i then play a clip on the viewer (left hand screen) the external tv plays both the audio and video.
I'm trying to record to mini DV tape whilst playing through the TV. At the moment all I can record is audio.
HELP??!!

Try this:
- render the sequence (alt-R), and mixdown audio (alt-cmd-R)
- make sure the canvas zoom is set to Fit to Window

hey everyone,
i just downloaded the Joss Stone Tell Me 'Bout It (A Yam Who? Rework) - EP and there is a problem with the radio edit of the song
whenever i play it, it plays to the 16th second, and then it goes to the next song, but if i fast forward, it will play through the rest of the song.... i tried getting out of iTunes a re-openin it, but it still doesnt work
the other song is fine
can anyone help me with this?

Cs5 having probems with red footage plays back as black video

have imported the r3d files into cs5 and they import ok but i dont get a picture can hear the audio but no picture
pc is running a 2.66 quad core with 6 gig of ram and a 8800gtx nvidia graphics card so sholdnt be a problem ive tried playing at 1/4 res but dosent change anything

It sure sounds like you have something set wrong. I have no idea what it could be.
Try downloading some different .r3d files and see if you have the same problem.
