Problem to add ADCP-DEPARTMENT into maintenance view

Hi All,
I need help urgently on creating a maintenance view of a customized table.
The Customized Table name is ZTSUBCON, it contains fields below:-
MANDT     - Client
BNAME     - User Name in User Master Record
... (and other fields)
I would like to create a maintenance view called ZVSUBCON and this view must be able to show the department of the User Name automatically when user maintain the data.
Customized View Name : ZVSUBCON, contains fields below:-
BNAME          - SAP Account that will be input by user thru transaction SM30
DEPARTMENT     - This should be the information from ADCP table (field : DEPARTMENT), which must automatically display after user key in the SAP account
... (and other fields)
I tried to create a foreign key BNAME with check table USR21, and try to add the table ADCP in "Table/Join Conditions" in SE11, but, it failed.
Please help me if you know the solution.

Define your maintenance view with the following tables:
ZTSUBCON (primary table)
USR21
ADRC
ADRP
These tables will give the following JOIN conditions:
USR21     MANDT     =     ZTSUBCON     MANDT
USR21     BNAME     =     ZTSUBCON     BNAME
ADRC     ADDRNUMBER     =     USR21     ADDRNUMBER
ADRP     PERSNUMBER     =     USR21     PERSNUMBER
To receive the department from table ADCP use the key fields from ADRC and ADRP and fill the maintenance view field using <a href="http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/91/ca9f4aa9d111d1a5690000e82deaaa/content.htm">Event 21 fill hidden fields</a>

    Copy the view V_FMC_B into ZV_FMC_B and the you will be able to add new fields to that standard view V_FMC_B

    Just request for the access key from your Basis Admin so that you will be able to add that new field in the standard view V_FMC_B.

  • Add button to a maintenance view

    I am working with maintenance views and user-defined events in maintenance views at the moment.
    Now I'd like to add a button to the maintenance view that will show a popup with recent changes to the selected line of the database table.
    Is that possible with user-defined events or should I modify the generated dynpros manually. But then, will the modifications be deleted if I will have to regenerate the maintenance view in the future (e.g. when I might add a field to the database table)?

    If you are talking SE54 and Maintenance Views, when I do an SM30 on the Maintenance View and do SYSTEM->STATUS, I see GUI STATUS ZULG on program SAPLSVIM.  If you look at that status, I see two buttons with dynamic text.  The first one is call GPRF and has dynamic text VIM_PR_STAT_TXT_CH.  You can find a suitable PBO event to set the text of that function code and if that works, find a suitable PAI event to respond to that function.
    I recall finding some documentation on customizing the GUI STATUS but no luck today trying to find it.
    Let us know how it goes.

  • Maintenance view field check.

    Hi,
    I want to insert new record into maintenance view and check some field that must be inserted.
    If i make them required so when i press "New Entries" all the redcord are ready for new entries and all the fields in each record are required so if the user insert only one record so he get msg that there are still required  fields to enter.
    Other problem is that i can save blank record in the maintenance view.
    Hope there is any good solution for those problem.
    I've tried coding abap in the flow logic of the screen but still it run on all the records.

    HI it very simple.
    Generate table maintanance generator screen for you maintanance view and wirte your validation in table maintance generator event.  create event new entry(05).
    *first create 05 event and give suroutine name as new_entry.
    form new_entry.
    *----here you have to put your validtion

    ztable-f2 is initial and
    ztable-f3 is initial.

    I have problem to add business system into Business Systems list in my scenarion in the Integration Directory. These systems are already in the SLD, but when I try to assign a business system, I have only choice to assign XI...

    maybe your business systems are already inside ID?
    BTW
    did you assign you business system to a correct
    integration server? (when definig the business system)
    also remember to refresh SLD data cache from ID
    - environment
    - clear SLD data cache

  • Add fields to maintenance view and update then using events

    Hi experts:
      I've created a table with 4 fields, one of them is userid. Also, there is a maintenance view to add new entries.
      I want to display user name when typing userid using events (1 or 21). I know how to do it if username is one of the fields of the table, but there is a requirement to not store username in the table, just userid.
    My question is: is possible to add a field into the maintenance view and update it using events but not store the value in DB?.

    In the save event just clear the entries of the field(user name) in the internal table.

    In my table i have some fields and when i created my table maintenance view , it is created , but when i try  to see it in SM30 its not showing my fields and even i am unable to create a  new entry. when i click

    SE93.  Enter a transaction name.  Create.  In the pop up enter a title and select 'Transaction with parameters'.
    Next screen fill the following;
    Transaction 'SM30'
    Check 'Skip first screen'
    In the table control at the bottom of the screen
    Name of screen field 'VIEWNAME'
    Value <your table name>
    Name of screen field 'SHOW'
    Value 'X'
    Save.
    Job done.

  • Table maintenance view problem

    Hi. I'm trying to generate a table maintenance view for a custom table, and I keep getting an error message.  I go into the table maintenance view generator and fill out the fields.  I'm selecting a function group that has ZHR0 as the development class (which is correct).  Then when I click on the create button a screen pops up with the workbench request number.  When I click on the continue button, I get the following error message: "The maintenance object description has no transportable class." If I click for more information, this is what it says to do: "Either assign the maintenance object description for object ZTS_ADJST_REAS to acorrectable development class, or assign the table forthe generation of the maintenance module to a function group with non-correctable development classes."  Apparently the maintenance object description somehow got assigned to temporary class $TMP.  Where do I go to change this?

    Hi April,
    You can use standard program <b>RSWBO052</b> to change the package. Enter the object and mark the checkbox -> Execute -> Place the cursor in the object -> Right click mouse -> Reassign -> Enter new package -> Save.
    or you can go to transaction SE80 -> Select Package -> Enter &TMP -> Hit Enter -> Find your object -> put the cursor and right click -> Other functions -> Object Directory Entry -> Change -> Change the package -> Save.

    I have to fetch data from the maintenance view V001N in my ABAP program.  I have used select statement in my program but I am getting a syntax error  'V001N is not defined in the ABAP Dictionary as a table, projection view or database view. '.  V001N is a Maintenance view.
    Can anybody help me out how to get the data from that maintenance view into the internal table of my ABAP program.

  • Add field in table maintenance generator screen of maintenance view

    Hi,
    I am having a table with field user-id. I want to generate a maintenance view which will have corresponding user name as input disabled field. Since there are two tables USR21 and ADRP I need to access(not a direct check table) I will have to modify the code generated by the table maintenance generator.
    Problem is that it is having one internal table EXTRACT at table control loop. That internal table cannot be accessed if you write a module inside the table control loop and try to catch. The error coming as EXTRACT is not object of structure and therefore no component. I tried to capture the value of the Loop but could not be successful. Any suggestion please.

    I would like to add a new entry in a maintenance view, but keeping the existing entries visible. That is, I want a new line to appear under the older ones, so I can see them, instead of opening a whole new screen with empty lines.

    If you want to add new field in the view.
    Goto SE54 and carry out the following steps:-
    1) Enter the name of the table or view.
    2) Choose Generated objects.
    3) Choose Create/Change. You go to the generated objects maintenance screen.
    4) Choose Change. A screen of reasons for changes appears.
    Select option(s) and choose Continue.
    The new field will appear in the view.

    Here's an example of how to create a user-defined table in code. My suggestion would be to check if it exists when your add-on starts up and then if not, create the tables, fields and objects.

    If you want to create a View I think you would have to use the RecordSet object. This will ensure that you don't have to log in to the database again

    I m facing problem in updation of Z-table through maintenance view (SM30).
    The scenario is that I have one customizing field in my Z-table which is checkbox.
    Now I need to populate 2 fields in Z-table on tick of this checkbox and clicking of SAVE button.
    For this I have created one module  ''change_field''  in PAI.
    Actually my database table is being updated but as soon as the control left my module all the updation that take place vanishes away.....
    So please help me in this matter.

    I need to restrict the data shown in maintenance view.
    I think it would be same as pop-up window displayed when we tick on 2nd radiobutton ("ENTER CONDITIONS")
    of intial screen of t-code SM30.
    Please suggest what shud i do....

    I have generated a table and created a maintenance view for that table.
    created a function group and assign that group to maintenance view of that table
    create a transaction from se93 calling SM30 with table name and update stats X
    its working on development server
    but when i transport it to 800 server it says that PRD server is not modifiable
    i have done the same process on another table but its working not in this table
    where i have gone wrong ?

    In the table delivery and maintenance tab, change the 'delivery class' from C (Customizing table, maintenance only by cust., not SAP import) to A (Application table (master and transaction data)). This will take care of Your issue...
