when i try to go on:
SAP Mobile Platform Developer Center
and I click on:
Download SAP Mobile Platform SDK - Developer Edition
The system is returning to me:
Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /sap/cp/ui/resources/store/html/SolutionDetails.html on this server.
What I have to do?

This download link is related to SAP Store and I guess there is some issue with SAP Store now. (store.sap.com) .
Anyways the link might provide access to only SDK of SMP 3.0 , but to develop mobile applications on SMP both the Runtime and SDK are to be installed and only SDK is available to public.
If you have a valid S-User credentials you can download SMP from SAP Service Marketplace - Home
Softwares Donloads --> A-Z Index --> M -->SAP mobile Platform -- ? choose the version you are looking at (2.1 / 2.2 /2.3 )
SMP 3.0 is still in Rampup only available to limited registered partners
Which version of SMP you are looking to download?

          I need to consume the sap backend in android,this can be possible by using the "SAP Mobile Platform and SAPR3<>NetWeaverGateway<>SUP-ODP<>RelayServer<>Device".I already registered with the open sap, i have done the self study for the course SAP mobile Solution Development for Enterprise,so now i got some information on it i need to learn it very depth.
I have few questions.
     1.Is their any other online training courses available on sap mobile platform ?
     2.Open Sap will soon start any training courses on sap mobile platform ?

The architecture you given uses Odata exposed from NW gateway and SMP will be an online data proxy. Relay server can be used for more security. To know how to develop android apps in this architecture follow this,SyBooks Online

Clarification on SAP Mobile Platform 3.0

Dear SAP Mobility Experts,
Hope you are doing great, and I am seeking your help here.
We are just to start a new project for one of our customer on SMP3.0 and Mobiliser5.1. During the preparation phase of my project I was just going through some of the literature to propose the correct system landscape architecture to the customer and have found some challenges, I am hoping you guys will be able to clarify them to me.
These challenges are basically due to the SAP Note# 1901408 - SAP Mobile Platform 3.0 Limitations, I am sure SAP must have resolved some of these challenges, can you please point me to the correction notes if available of just confirm them to me.
Relay Server is not supported; only reverse proxy is currently supported: Can I utilize any reverse proxy including the physical one which comes from Cisco & Citrix, or only apache based proxies are supported.
Clustering and high availability are not supported: My Customer is looking forward to have active HA is this still not supported?
Also as per my understanding of the platform 3.0 we can have the Mobiliser component as an add-on on the same server, is my understanding correct, if so then as far as I am aware Mobiliser is supported only on the Linux platform, has the same been extended to the windows or I need to install the platform itself on the Linux platform.

Problems trying to download iPod Software Update 2.0

Ive been trying to download the software update for about 3 hours now, but about every 5 minutes or less i get a error saying:
'There was a problem with the iPod software for the iPod "MyName iPod". The network connection timed out.
Make sure your network settings are correct and your network connection is active, or try again later.'
But, i'm having no problems whatsoever with my connection, it all seems perfectly fine to me.
If anyone could help me at all with any settings that might be able to be changed or something or anything that could stop this message appearing so that my download will actually be able to get somewhere...

I am having this same issue trying to download the 1.1.5 update for my touch, it goes for a while then times out, over and over.
Over the last 18 hours I have tried this update about 30 times and it has failed every time, never at the same point, it downloads a different amount every time but it always stops...
No information from Apple on this issue ? Poor show, I would have expected better from the worlds best computer manufacturer, they give the impression that they think of everything but then it´s little things like this that let them down.

Problem trying to download a midlet

Hi,
I'm trying to download a midlet to my Motorola i275 using a group wml/jad/jar files (OTA), but I'm getting "406 unacceptable" (1015 invalid content type in browser details". The strange is that the same files are working fine in Nokia 6600.
I'm not sure if any change in my .jad could help me (for example: full url description in MIDlet-Jar-URL attribute - I tried this one but no success.
Did anyone have a similar problem? Any idea?

Password problem trying to download Skype

It may be me being thick but ...... on trying to download skype I am asked to enter my microsoft account password - I know this is correct as logged onto that account to be certain - but every time I enter the password I get "The password is incorrect, try again". I have tried using my skype password with the same result. Anyone have any bright ideas please ? Thanks in advance

OK am replying to my own problem = but out of interest I decided to abandon trying to download through the Skype site and went to my Miocrosoft account, chose downloads and successfully completed from there - Simples

- Date/Time
- Browser + Version
- O/S + Version
- Error Msg
I'm trying to download the Oracle 9i Release 2 for Linux (Enterprise/Standard Edition), I have
a Linux Server running Red Hat 7.2, and the browser I am using is Konqueror 3.0.0-12, the exact
problem is that when I agree to the terms of the license, it appears on the screen for a few
seconds the page where the files are in, but it then returns to the page of the license terms
without an error. If I try to download on a Windows PC (with Microsoft's Internet Explorer) it
works. Is it a problem with the browser or with Linux?

SAP Mobile Platform 3 compatibility with windows server 2012

Dear All,
As per SAP release notes Window Server 2012 is compatible with SMP 3.0 but after installation i see that the SMP3 Services are always into the hung state meaning they neither start nor stop. They are always in the starting state. Whereas it runs fine with Windows Server 2008 R2. When we force kill all the process running with SMP3 Service we can stop it but it doesn't start at all.
Has anyone faced this issue till now.

"You are not authorized to download selected object" when trying to download SAP Kernel 7.21 EXT PL 500 with DL

Hello everyone,
Yesterday (April 30, 2015) SAP released the new patch 500 for SAP KERNEL 7.21 EXT 64-bit.
I am using Download Manager and I was able to download the Kernel Part II (DB-Dependent) .SAR file and other files as you can see in the screenshot, but for the Kernel Part I and disp+work files I get the error: "You are not authorized to download selected object".
On the other hand, I am able to download older versions of the Kernel Part I (SAPEXE_XXX.SAR).
Is this a technical problem on SAP side (SMP)? Did anyone encounter the same issue and found a solution?

Kernel Patch 500 is yet to release, to the customer.
Have a look at the below blog.

Problem trying to Download Photoshop Trial

When i clic the button to download Photoshop Trial i receive a message saying that it must be downloaded in a computer. I am doing it on my computer (Dell Inspiron one2310 windows 7 Home Premium). I've seen in Internet someone that said the same from an aslo touchscreen computer, this case an HP.

i am having the same problem - i just spent 2 hours trying to get tech help - they say they can't find a problem - i get 3 error messages after the program is 100% downloaded and then says it cannot finish the download. - the tech helpers can't help - they just send me back to the website. i get this message -
