Problem using Safari to load photos to Tumblr?

Last year I was able to post text and photos to my Tumblr blog. This year I can only load text. I'm unable to load photos on my dashboard. Safari is v.8.0.3 (10600.3.18).
Tumblr support has tested my photos and looked at screenshots of my computer, suggested I try other borrowers - I've tried Chrome - still with no success, I've tried also with my MacBook Air, same outcome. Yet I can email photos with no problem. I don't want to try other browsers. Any help much appreciated!

Where are you getting these photos? When you double click on a photo, does it show up on your screen? What is the size of these photos? click on photo then command + i

I believe that our “Werbung problem” adds an additional second hyperlink to the pop-up window. This second link is activated whenever you trigger a saved hyperlink to a Mail.com site.
I had the same problem and eliminated it by deleting all bookmarks, hyperlinks and automatic links that take firefox to a mail.com address. So I just deleted all bookmarks I had saved for mail.com. I also changed my home page link because it also went to my email at mail.com. I then did a warm boot, opened firefox and re-saved my bookmarks and homepage to the desired addresses. Good luck.

Problem using safari

Hey Yall,
Every so often while we (happens to my wife on hers as well) are using Safari the screen will go black and then go to the home/main page and completely close safari. Why does this happen? We both have the 2nd gen Itouch

What does that do? Is there a problem with the program or is my history file too full?

Cookie problem using safari

Hi all!
I seem to have a cookie problem on Safari on my iPhone. This makes that it's very difficult for me to Ise forums, Google Reader, etc. I tried all three settings but apparently Safari doesn't store my cookies.
Anybody else have this problem? I'm using firmware 1.1.4.

The first step you should take is a reset of the phone to potentially clear up the problem. To do this, hold the home button and the top button simultaneously until you see the apple logo. If this doesn't cure the problem, a restore is in order, and this can be accomplished from iTunes. First try a restore from backup. If this doesn't work, you can do a restore to factory from iTunes, which should clear up the problem if the prior steps haven't worked.

Posting problem using safari or firefox with IMAC

Can anybody help with the following issue. I can access the labs.macromedia website, I can access the Light room posting board. But signing in using safari or firefox on a imac is troublesome and takes several minutes and is half of the time unsuccesful. When trying to post, the signing in screen shows up and asks for e-mail address and password, no problem after pressing the button "continue" the system hangs for so long that safari reports a time out. I have no problems with other websites on the same imac machine I have tried this whole routine on a windows machines from the same location and internet connection set up and no problems at all. A report from another safari user shows also no problem at all. I assume that it is a combination of safari/firefox, this website and my machine settings. Probably I have to change something on the settings for safari or firefox or Imac, but I don't know what. Is there any experience with same problems and a solution out there?

I am having problems with Elements 11 loading photos into the Photomerge tool. They become distorted

I have updated and reinstalled the software with no luck. I'm using Windows 8. Has anyone else had this problem or now how to fix it? Any help would be appreciated.

Oops, sorry, should have looked at your screenshot. You can't merge those photos in group shot. Group shot is for when you're taking something like a pic of a wedding party or a school class, and you do that "and one more...and hold it!" thing so that you have two identical photos. Now in one photo someone's eyes are closed or his head is turned and you want to move just the head from one expoure to the other. It will not merge photos as different as the ones you've got.
What you're seeing is PSE's desperate attempt to align those completely unrelated shots.

10.4.9 Scroll Wheel Problem - using Safari with a mouse with scroll wheel.

Since installing 10.4.9 I have noticed that when on web sites with Safari, when using the scroll wheel on my Logitech MX1000 Laser cordless mouse (Jan 2005) with Logitech control Center 2.1.3 (latest), suddenly you can no longer scroll using the wheel, in fact the mouse becomes "Dead" (the trackpad, too), so you cannot use the scroll arrows either. You have to quit Safari and restart Safari. Unfortunately this has happened 1-2 times/day and only since installing 10.4.9....... MacBook (May 2006, first ones) 2 gHz RAM.
Any form you are filling-out -- not possible to send, since you cannot click the send button...
Has anyone seen this problem or similar mousing problems running 10.4.9?

NOTE: I have just learned that the Logitech Control Center 2.1.3 is NOT compatible with Mac OS 10.4.9 but that Logitech is working on 2.1.4-- so if others are having a similar problem, then it is not your Mac!
Hopefully this will be out shortly--- and if anyone hears anything, kindly post.

Problem using Safari 5.1.10

Hi,
Since I have updated Safari, when I open a window/website then close it again, while im using facebook eventually my computer starts to slow down. I have read about the Activity Monitor here. I tried to check the System Memory the Active section is reaching 1gb already. The Safari Web Content is getting bigger and bigger, don't know why. That's why I think my computer is starting to crash. Sometimes or most of the time, when it happens, i just restart and the loading screen starts slowly. And, I am having lots of color wheel moments.
Also, I tried using google chrome, it works just fine.
So can I downgrade Safari? or do i need to do something?

Emptied the Safari cache lately? With Safari open press Command + Option + E. Quit and relaunch Safari.
Not enough free space on the startup disk can cause the issues you are describing
Control click the MacintoshHD icon on your desktop then click Get Info. You'll see: Capacity & Available
Make sure there's at least 15% free disk space.
Check the startup disk lately?
Launch Disk Utility located in HD > Applications > Utillities
Select the startup disk on the left then select the First Aid tab.
Click: Verify Disk (not Verify Disk Permissions)
If DU reports errors, start up from your Mac install disc to make repairs.

Website problems in Safari - half loaded / blank pages

I'm having problems with my website - http://kevadamson.com - in Safari (4) on both Mac (10.5.8) and PC (Vista) (Version 4). I have asked my fellow web developer and programmer colleagues what they think, without finding a reason for the problems.
*Problems as follows:*
= Pages often load with missing images (both and CSS background images)
= Pages often do not load at all - displaying just a blank page
= Pages often load with failed JavaScript elements
*I have checked the following:*
= Other browsers and it works fine (IE6/7/8, FF3.5, Chrome, Opera 10)
= Disabling CSS and JavaScript, and I still get the same issues
= Re-installing Safari
= Asked others to check on their machines (Mac and PC) and they see the same problems
= Choosing different options from user agents list - still get same problems
*Other info:*
= The server is Apache 2
= XHTML transitional and CSS3
Anyone have any thoughts?

Don't mess around with reinstalling Safari; that's not the problem at all. Instead, try this:
1. Quit Safari if it's running.
2. Go to Home/Library/Preferences and delete the com.apple.Safari.plist file.
3. Go to Home/Library/Caches/com.apple.Safari and delete the contents of that folder.
4. Go to Home/Library/Caches/com.apple.Safari/Web Page Previews and delete the contents of that folder.
5. Go to Home/Library/Caches/Metadata/Safari and delete the contents of that folder.
6. Go to Home/Library/Caches/Safari and delete the contents of that folder.
Then Repair Permissions, restart Safari, reset its preferences and see if the problem continues.

I can no longer open up any links on emails to any website. It just takes me to firefox but keeps the last page I was looking at. No problem using Safari however. ONly has happened since last update

I have an imac and using lastest firefox update. No links open to any website using firefox when I click on link on email. No difference if I right click and choose to open the link either

Thanks very much for that. it worked on my powerbook(running Tiger). I went to the link and followed the instructions and it worked. Did i mention that my dad who has a iMac running Leopard now has the same problem. I thought i would just do the same but the Preference in Mail for Leopard is of course different. There is no icon called "Server Settings" under Accounts section like there is on mine. Do you have a link for the same kind of instructions for Leopard?

Trying to use safari to load something up, But all i get is a blue brick..

I was trying to go to this site and look at this page. When i go to the site. I get a blue lego type box with a question mark and this error. Saying Safari cannot find the internet plug-in. What do I need to download ?
The page “PhreikChat :: Phreikchat Scripthelp” has content of MIME type “application/x-nppgwrap”. Because you don’t have a plug-in installed for this MIME type, this content can’t be displayed.

Just created an account on the site for test purposes.
Once you log in and choose a chat room, you'll get the blue lego with a question mark. Sure enough, that confirms what I said before that the plugin is for Windows only as it's ActiveX.
There's no workaround except to use Windows to access the site. The Debug menu in Safari won't help in this case because you still won't have the ActiveX plugin necessary.

I updates to the newest version of Safari via apple and now none of my pages load correctly. Most of the times I have to reload the page several times to get everything loaded. When I first load a page there are little question marks where images should be, sometimes it doesn't load at all and says it can't find the server or something. Some sites just load super funny. All I did was load the newest version of Safari. Anyone have any idea on how to fix this?
