Problem when Copy PO item with customer fields

Hi all,
I've added few customer fields to PO item customer screen via enhancement MM06E005.
All works well besides item copy functionality - the system creates new PO item and copies everything besides my 2 customer fields.
Any idea why + how 2 solve ? Is it working via BADI ME_GUI_PO_CUST ?

R3 Unicode error when transferring SRM PO with custom fields to R3

We have an SRM 5.0 system. We are sending an SRM created PO to R3 (4.7). This works perfectly if there are no custom fields. We added 1 custom field of 1 character byte to the SRM PO Header. When this is done there is a dump in R3 in SAPLBBP_BAPI_PO in "MAPPING_CUSTOMER_FIELDS" saying Data objects in a Unicode program are not convertible.
This happens at the following statements
ASSIGN wa_bapi_cf_header TO <l_tmp_fs>.
l_valuepart = <l_tmp_fs>.
We think this is related to our custom fields on EKKO on the R3 side where there is a currency field (packed), but we are not sure since we just started working with SRM. Below is our R3 PO header structure for custom fields.
wa_bapi_cf_header has the definition of PO header in our R3 system that contains a packed field.

Problem in updating FPLT Table with custom fields of the billing plan

Hi Guys
I have a requirement to add 2 custom fieldd in the billing plan tab of sales order and I could not find any screen exit for that. However I got access key and added those 2 fields on the screen but I am not able to uodate table FPLT from there.
I can see exits to pass the value but because there is no screen exit, the program cant retain the values keyed given by use on the screen.
I really dont know where do I need to write the code and how to make screen fields read by the program.

- Goto 'Logical execution' or something like that (i'm connected in french)
- Modify standard code line 75: here I have added the field 'LIBEL'
    FIELD:

      FPLT-FAREG MODULE FPLT-FAREG_PRUEFEN ON REQUEST,

How to Generate sales orders with custom Fields using BAPI_BUSPROCESSND_CREATEMULTI

I need to generate sales orders with custom fields on table CRMD_ORDERADM_H using BAPI_BUSPROCESSND_CREATEMULTI, after changing the structure BAPI_TE_CRMD_ORDERADM_H, and feed the EXTENSIONIN table of the BAPI with data, the order is created, but any value on custom fields.
After debuging, I saw that the BAPI search for structure conversion in table CRMC_OBJECTS_GEN, but we haven't entry with BAPI_TE_CRMD_ORDERADM_H in this table. is that the problem ?, Is there any way to fix it?

That depends on where do you have the customer fields, check the table CRMD_CUSTOMER_H, if your custom fields are there, you need to use the changing parameter CUSTOMER_HEAD, I guess your already checked that one, right? but there's no custom fields, well...AET/EEWB doesn't enhance the strcuture of the BAPI, so you should do it manually, check the note following note for further details.

If you don't have access to the SAP Marketplace, in resume you should create an append on the structure BAPIBUS20001_CUSTOMER_H and include the following strcutrue CI_EEW_CUSTOMER_H

Copying all birthdates from custom field to regular addressbook field

is there a way i can copy birthdates from a custom field to regular address book field?
my current birthdates are not reflecting in iCal - and while there is are solutions to copying custom dates to ical, i would rather work on the solution to copy the custom date to regular birthdate.

So, if you're sure all your custom dates are birthdays and you want to copy them all to the birthday field.
First, open Address Book and from the File menu select Export, then +Address Book Archive...+ This saves a backup of your Address Book database in case you don't like the results of the script below.
Then run this Applescript.

Problem when defaulting a value to the field

Hi CRM Experts,
I am new to CRM, i am facing a problem when defaulting a value to the field in the Tcode 'SOLMAN_WORKCENTER' (Solution Manager Server).
when i am defaulting it is displaying fine in the view( Redefined the getter method there i passed the value), i set a break point in the getter method when i am executing the getter method i am unable to get the defaulted value in the importing parameter value, but i am getting the value here when i used to type manually in the filed, i cant understand why it is behaving like that? please can any body help in this regard...

There are other ways to get the string-value of an enum (format into string with a %s formatter for instance).
But I have no idea what you are seeing.
However I would not use the enum to string technique chose you have, just add the enum to the 'file' VI as an input.
And the =0 comparison you have is useless, add the enum to the case structure as the selector.

I need a field like "System.RelatedLinkCount" but where the count is linked items with a field in a certain state

I need a field like "System.RelatedLinkCount" but where the count is linked items with a field in a certain state.
e.g. I've got a WI with a field on it that tells me how many active bugs are linked to it. (I'm not actually counting active bugs, but hopefully you get the idea).
The only way I can think to do this is with a TFS plugin and catching the workitemchanged event. I'd prefer to do this entirely in the WI if possible? is there a way to do this? Thanks

Extending the Search Object of a BOL Entity with custom fields

I have to enhance the structure of the BOL search object 'BuilHeaderSearch' with custom fields!.
i went to the transaction genil_bol_browser and find out the structure of the object as, 'CRMST_HEADER_SEARCH_BUIL'
how can i insert custom fields into this structure, so that i can display these custom fields at the Front end ( Web IC ).

First of all it should be mentioned that: it is NOT possible to change list of SEARCH criteria in IC!
So, in other words, you can search BP ONLY by params listed in native structure 'CRMST_HEADER_SEARCH_BUIL'.
BUT: You can FILTER search results!
For example: you get the list of BP with MC_NAME1 (lastname) search criteria (only by SAP class!)and THEN you can filter (delete from list) by YOUR criteria (in your class!).
Is it clear?
So how to add your own criteria?
1. Transaction GENIL_MODEL_BROWSER - Model Browser forGen.IL Applications
2. Component Set - ALL
3. Search Objects -> BuilHeaderSearch -> Attribute Structure ->CRMST_HEADER_SEARCH_BUIL (Dbl Click)
4. Append Structure (or F5)
5. Name the new sub-structure and provide all new fields
So now you can use this new fields in IC Z-classes.
I had the same task and nobody in SDN could help - so I had bought new SAP_book: <a href="http://www.sappress.com/product.cfm?account=&product=H1909">mySAP CRM Interaction Center</a> because in Contents there were:
"Extending the Business Partner Search in IC WebClient by New Search Fields".
So in fact it is not truth: it is not possible to extend search. You can only filter results!
BUT!
It is not the end of my post! I hope that SAP people will see this post. I found a BUG in SAP classes and methods: it is not possible to navigate to first position in collection wraper!

lr_current ?= entity_col->if_bol_bo_col~get_first( ).
doesn't work.
So position of cursor puts on second record in structure!
In other words it is not possible to filter the first record in search result! And so new search is not efficient
I think that is is bug and wait for comments of SAP.

I want to populate these customer fields with BAPI BAPI_EQUI_CHANGE Or BAPI_EQUI_CREATE.
So I have extended the structure ITOB appending the same customer fields as in table EQUI.
I have enhanced the function MAPXI_BAPI_ITOB_TO_ITOB which map data from structure BAPI_ITOB to internal structure ITOB.
But the fields are not populated ?
Has someone already the BAPI in that way ?

it is the same way we create in VS 2010.
Add a new empty SP project in VS2012 and then add, site, list and fields as per your requirement.

Problems with custom fields

I've worked in several projects with SRM 7.0 and when I add custom fields to SC, PO... I do always the same steps and works fine. But in my new project is not working, the fields are not displayed in portal and I don't know why.
The step I've followed are:
SPRO:
SAP Supplier Relationship Management -> SRM Server -> Cross-Application Basic Settings -> Extensions and Field Control (Personalization) :
- Configure Customer Fields -> Define Customer Fields on Item Level:
I've added the fields in the structures: INCL_EEW_PD_ITEM_CSF and INCL_EEW_PD_ITEM_CSF_SC.
- Configure Field Control -> Configure Control for Fields on Item Level -> Metadata for Fields on Item Level:
I've added my fields there, with the correct Obj. type and I've checked Enabled and Visible. (I haven't dynamic classes)
With this the fields must appear in portal, but aren't displayed...
It's strange because I've even added one of these fields manually in the component /SAPSRM/WDC_DODC_SC_I_BD, adding a label and an input field, and I can see it in the layout but not in portal...
I've tried also to add some entries in SPRO in "Configure Generic Field Display on User Interface" but still not working...
I've checked also the component configuration and it seems it's all ok.
Any idea what's happens ?

Add a new tab with customer fields to shopping cart item

I wanted some help in adding a new tab to shopping cart items. I went through some posts and found ways of doing it using some spro settings, but there is no way i can handle the field type in this.
I want a customer field which is a checkbox, how would i add this?
Moreover if i use spro the tab will by default be called as "Table Extensions" , i want to give it a specific name.
In case i am adding a new webdynpro component , how would i go ahead with this? what is the name of the fpm config where i need to add my customer webdynpro component?

Copy reformatted date to custom field

I am scanning a lot of quite old film for which I can only guess at the date taken. Aperture import puts the timestamp of the scan in the date field.   I have created a custom field "Date Shot". I will manually enter the date as yyyy-mm-dd (perhaps only year). I would like to be able to sort all of my photos by Date Shot. This means copying and reformatting the timestamp for all of my digital photos (in certain projects) into Date Shot.
It looks quite possible using AppleScript. I have done lots of programming, but know nothing about that language. Just quickly reviewed the Aperture 3 AppleScript document.
I would appreciate any ideas or code to use as a start for this effort. I assume one can pick out the date components and reformat using printf-type commands.

I've done some Aperture scripting. Some things work nice some things don't, Aperture is not the best example for first time application scripting.
