Problem when upgrading from Gnome 3.0 to 3.2 [SOLVED]

Hi,
I've been fighting for 2 days trying to fix this problem: after having upgraded from Gnome 3.0 to 3.2, I can't login anymore (I have this message telling me that something wrong happened and I should try again).
Here is what I tried:
- Removing ~/.config ~/.gconf and ~/.gnome2
- Connecting with a fresh new user
- Reinstalling gnome-shell
- pacman -S cogl
- http://justin.jetfive.com/gnome-32-arch … in-problem
But unfortunately it didn't help...

I had the same problem when I did the upgrade the very same day of the release. And the solution for me was to login using my battery. For some reason, GDM won't let me in if I'm plugged (I know it sounds crazy, but it works for me)

The documentation is old what you can download! So I cannot find anything.
The Infrastructure Installation and Configuration Guide is for 10.1.3.2.1 and from april 2007
The Infrastructure Upgrade Guide goes from Siebel to OBI and from december 2006
The problem is
I have a fully functional 10.1.3.2 with all Java and everything.
When I start the server install I get the following error in a small window:
Java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: run Exeption in thread "main"
Where should I look? Should I uninstall the previous version?

Problems when upgraded from 3.0 to 3.2. Need help please!!

Hi everybody,
I recently upgraded from 3.0 to 3.2. My 3.0 version was working perfectly fine.
MY OS is win 2000.
Database oracle 10.2.0
Oracle HTTP server installed companion cd.
The steps I followed to upgrade:
I unzipped apex 3.2 in a new folder called apex_3.2 and ran apexins.sql as sysdba.
I copied new images folder from apex_3.2\apex to HTTP_Home\Apache\Apache
I then ran apxldimg.sql C:\apex_3.2.
C:\apex_3.2 is the base directory where I unzipped apex_3.2.
Then I restarted HTTP server and tried logging in apex page.
But the images are not proper, and I am not able to login. The browser says the page has errors.
It says *'object expected'*.
Please let me know what could be wrong. What step I have missed.....
The upgrade is very important.

Does your image alias in dad configuration file correct?
What parameters you pass to apexins.sql script?

Problem when upgrading from WLS6.1 to WLS8.1

Hello,
          I'm trying to upgrade my server from 6.1 to 8.1.
          I've setup the JMS Server, which uses File Store persistence. When WLS8.1 boots, here what I have, and all of my messages are deleted.
          What can cause this message ? Is there something I forgot to parameter in my new server ?

          My JMS experience on WLS 8.1 ain't great, purley from these error messages it looks like the destination of these messages is the problem. Can you double check the destination exists and is configured correctly.

Problems when upgrading from 9.0.3.7 to 9.0.4.5.040930

1/ I'm trying to upgrade my project from 9.0.3.7 to 9.0.4.5.040930. But when I'm opening the old MWP project in Mapping Workbench 9045 I'm receiving the following error:

Lagging problems when upgrading from 10.6 to 10.6.8

I've been running Snow Leopard 10.6.8 on my MacBook Pro (approx 6 years old - Intel core 2 duo, 2.26 GHz processor w/ 4 GB ram). I had an issue recently where it would hang up (spinning wheel) for 10-15 seconds every minute or two. Eventually it "died" and wouldn't boot again. I went through all the trouble shooting options I could find, but ended up just re-installing OS X 10.6 from my boot CD. It worked and ran fine again, so I did the software update to 10.6.8, but once I did that I encountered the "hanging up" problem again. So I went back to 10.6 once again and it's working fine. The problem is that most of the software on my computer needs 10.6.8 to run (for example, I use my laptop to DJ and my Serato software loads up on 10.6, but it doesn't register when I plug the USB into my mixer).
I've run Activity Monitor to when I'm running 10.6.8 to see if anything is out of the ordinary there and everything looks fine. I've also run Disk Utility to verify/repair and everything is fine there as well.
It doesn't seem like a hardware problem to me since it runs fine on 10.6, but I'm also far from an expert when it comes to this stuff. If anyone has any suggestions/ideas on what may be causing this problem I'd be very appreciative - thanks!

BADi problem when upgrading from 4.7 to ECC 6.0

Hi,
we are in process of upgrading 4.7 to ECC 6.I had developed the one Z filter dependent BADi ZHR_PBAS0001_BADI in se18 and its differnrt implemations in se19.its working perfectly ok in 4.7 but now in ECC6 its giving error "The program 'ZIF_EX_HR_PBA0001_BADI=====IP' id not unicode-compactible, according to its program attributes.
I also try to see its attribute parameters but i cannot edit them..they are by default.

If you want to edit the attributes first deactivate the BADI implementation and change the attributes then re activate it.

Document Problems when upgrading B1 from 2004 to 2005

When upgrading from B1 2004 to b1 2005 any documents over 2 pages cause B1 to crash - anyone found the same problem or a solution.

When you say it crashes, does it just close and no error. i've came across that problem when making complex documents. If you have made your document as an A4 document, check what the default printer is? Go to file->page setup .You'll see the printer it will print with and it's page size (letter,A4,etc). Make sure that is the same as the one you have set in the pld in the document.

Gui Buttons don't press when upgrading from 1.1.8 to 1.4.0

We are upgrading an application from 1.1.8 to 1.4.0 and the Gui button's do not work. I believe it is due to some sort of focus problem (and parent windows) but cannot get it to break in a simple test application. Just wondering if anyone else has had gui problems when upgrading to 1.4.0. If I recompile back to 1.1.8 it works great.

wow that's odd...almost sounds like you have a transparent window that is over the buttons so it intercepts the mouse events. Would have to see some code but it really sounds like it's the code and not the jvm....if it were, I would think alot of people would be screaming.

To troubleshoot this issue where you're experiencing a poor image quality with your iPhone's camera, please follow the troubleshooting below.
Camera isn't functioning or has undesired image quality
If the screen shows a closed lens or black image, force quit the Camera app.
If you do not see the Camera app on the Home screen, try searching for it in Spotlight. If the camera does not show up in the search, check to make sure that Restrictions are not turned on by tappingSettings > General > Restrictions.
Ensure the camera lens is clean and free from any obstructions. Use a microfiber polishing cloth to clean the lens.
Cases can interfere with the camera and the flash. Try gently cleaning the lens with a clean dry cloth or removing the case if you see image or color-quality issues with photos.
Try turning iPhone off and then back on.
Tap to focus the camera on the subject. The image may pulse or briefly go in and out of focus as it adjusts.
Try to remain steady while focusing:
Still images: Remain steady while taking the picture. If you move too far in any direction, the camera automatically refocuses to the center.
Note: If you take a picture with iPhone turned sideways, it is automatically saved in landscape orientation.
Video: Adjust focus before you begin recording. You can also tap to readjust focus while recording. Exiting the Camera application while recording will stop recording and will save the video to the Camera Roll.
Note: Video-recording features are not available on original iPhone or iPhone 3G.
If your iPhone has a front and rear camera, try switching between them to verify if the issue persists on both.

Windows 8.1 account limit problem when downloading from store

I have 250 windows 8.1 tablets.
I figured since you can use the same account on 81 devices id create 4 accounts.
I need to download more than 25 free apps from the store
on each tablet. Putting the same account don't work. (comes up with an error after putting on to many devices that you cant use this account now).
Whats the best way to do this ? and what if I need to download a paid app ?

Pl post OS details - are you using DBUA to upgrade ? Are there any errors in the database alert log ?

Problems when waking from long sleep periods

Suddenly this morning my iMac developed a problem when recovering from a long period of sleep. I'm having trouble finding a solution.
I have my iMac set to ask for password when it recovers from sleep or screen saver. When I woke my iMac this morning the password dialog box appeared at the top of the screen as a garbled mess. If I put my iMac back to sleep and then wake it again it usually solves the problem.
I don't want to turn password verification off. Has anyone seen this problem before? Any suggestions on what might be cause?

I usually leave my Pismo on and allow it to sleep. I find that waking from sleep and general functioning of the computer works a lot better if from time to time (I do it at least weekly) I shut down the computer, start up in Safe Mode, log in, empty Trash and reboot normally. The emptying Trash part clears the font caches.
You should consider doing other maintenance procedures, if you don't already. Gulliver's Mac OS X System Maintenance has good ideas with linked resources.

Yes. You download Mountain Lion from the App Store and, once the download is complete, the installation of Mountain Lion will begin. You can quit it at this point and backup the "Install OS Mountain Lion.app" (which I suggest) the double-click it and begin the installation.
All remnants of Lion will be gone and you'll be running Mountain Lion.
