Problem with bar cfchart, yaxistitle distorts mouseover text

I am having a problem with cfchart bar charts, have searched but not found a solution. If I specify any value for yaxistitle, it distorts the text that appears when you mouseover. If I don't specify yaxistitle, the text in the mouseover "bubble" looks fine. But if I specify *anything* for yaxistitle, it does not.
Here are a couple of snips that show the problem. This one has yaxistitle="US$ million" in the cfchart tag
This one did not have anything for the yaxistitle parameter.
The clients would prefer, and I agree with them, to have "Private Sector" left aligned, above the yaxistitle value and data value. I experimented with the default.xml style file, to no avail.

I've only encountered two instances where the PUT operation failed on certain files. One, the server does not like the particular file type, and two, when the file was open in another program.
Other than that, I could only guess that it may have something else to do with the web server configuration and not DW.

Problem with Bar Chart using Date Data

I am trying to make a simple horizontal bar chart as a Gantt chart. I am trying to set the min and max for the X axis but it is acting strangely. As you can see in the screenshot below, I set the min to 1/1/2000 but the chart uses 9/28/2011. Similar problem with the max setting. Am I doing something wrong here? Can anyone duplicate this? Anyone have a solution other than this workaround I am now using (which I assume will break my chart once Apple fixes this problem)?

I assume Numbers, like me, is confused why you would set min/max limits that do not include the data?
I do get the same result as you when I enter the time range for the chart as 1/1/2000 thru 1/1/2004.
I even tried making a separate table for the chart:

Problem with action script 3 make input text box and button....

Hi every one I am trying to make a family book using "Air for Android" with a simple search engin in the book
air for android only work with AS3,
the search function is to type a person's name and hit submit then go to a specific frame.
have a problem making below code to work in AS3 and hopefully one of you guys can lead me in the right direction to fix the issue.
Currently, I have an input text box and a button. When you type specific words into the input box and then hit the button it sends you to a specific frame.
(it work find in AS2 but not in AS3,)
Here is my current code that is placed on the main timeline, first frame:

you should use the default option in the switch statement
that way yourname contains something not in one of the case statements it will go to the default bit and execute teh code there

Problem with BARS

Run backup and it starts, backs up the services page, the CDR database, the DCD database,the TFTP files dumps them all to the staging area. Then it starts building the archive file at the designated location. It gets one or 2 percent done then errors out, saying that the destination archive is smaller than the staging size. the staging directory is 299 MB and the archive location has 32 gigs of free space. Why does this happen and how do I fix it?

BARS incorrectly reports file size limits when doing backup making it fail
Conditions:
BARS version 4.0(4) and earlier
Workaround:
First of all verify that the location where the archive is being created has
enough space, i.e. more than the staging directory size as indicated in the
BARS log. In that case, this is a valid message indicating that storage
destination location doesn't have enough space to host the archive file.
If there is enough space, and the message is still displayed, it could be
because of the following:
The problem occurs only when a single file has a size more than 2 GB. This
usually is the CDR database.
Purging old CDR records or deselecting CDR database backup during BARS
configuration can avoid this situation.
Update on 05/28/2004:-
The problem arose because the database size has increased more than 2GB and
BARS is unable to create the archive properly when a single file size is more
than 2 GB. Try to delete the records of the database which are not required and
then do a Backup.

Checked the Link Duplex / Speed on the server to which they were backing up to and it was
set to " Auto Detect ". Changed it to Full / 100 and now the backups work fine.

SYSDBA - problem with viewing other users package body texts on sys account

SQL Dev 1.0.0.15.27 has problem with correct display of other users package body texts on sys account. All bodies have "create or replace" text instead of all pck. bodies text.
I guest it's problem with SYSDBA role. On system account text is displayed correctly. Quest SQL Navigator 5.x has no problem with this. Any ideas ?

Just so I can close the case on this issue, although I was successful in
using CSS to resolve the issue, actually, the issue was not really
resolved. There was (for me) still the problem of rollover images not
working in IE, and if I were ever to get another good night's sleep, I
would need to resolve it -- so I did. Recall me saying earlier about the
sizes being brought in to the javascript code by Dreamweaver? The original
issue with having the size of the small image in the code caused the code
to see the larger image as small also! However, when I deleted those size
attributes' numbers, I failed to delete the words "width" and "height"
along with the double quotes following each. So, while the other browsers
ignored these "blank" attributes within these double quotes, IE apparently
didn't, reading these "blank" values as some very small value, thus
displaying the image in the absolutely smallest size possible! Wow! When I
removed these two blank attributes, my problem went away! Live and learn!
So, to all who were desperately trying to assist me, please accept my
deepest and most sincere apologies. All the while I was blaming IE, I was
the guilty one!!! Shame on me, and thanks for the wonderful responses I
received from the Dreamweaver forum team. I will go and stand in the corner
for 8 hours with my dunce cap on...

Their phones and mine show them as sent, but they are never received. Sometimes the text messages sent to arrive in my email about three weeks later. Problem with getting word count in TLF text

I want to get the word count from my TLF text, but the problem is that I am not being able to handle th case for space.
I am using the findNextWordBoundary property of ParagraphElement as shown below:

Now I have 2 issues here:
If my string is for eg: Hi, I am writing in "TLF". And I want to get its word count then
1) Suppose I take the case of the string Hi, . Then para.getText().substring( prevBoundary, wordBoundary ) gives the text as Hi i.e without the comma. Same case for the string "TLF forums" , It treats each " as a single word and not the whole "TLF" as a single word. Why doesn't it compute till spaces, that should be the ideal case. So until we don't give a space it should count the whole thing as a word.
2) So now the problem is I have applied a condition   if ( wordBoundary - prevBoundary > 1 ) to check if it is a space i.e. if the diff is <= 1 it is a Space. But if I use this I miss out on single words. Like for eg if I have "Hi, This is a string" ,then 'a' is ignored too.
Now I could have added a check here along with the space check that the string between prevBoundary and wordBoundary is " "(i.e a space), Then also it is a problem as then the single words like a,&,I will be ignored.
So, now I am stuck with this issue and need some help from you guys.

findNextWordBoundary is not going to serve your purpose. I'd propose doing something like this:

I have a problem doing a chart
My chart is horizontal barchart...and Axis Y there is some accounts of a dimension...
There is two kind of accounts...when value is > 0 then green and < 0 then red and other kind is > 0 red and < 0 green... so each bar is an account but depends of each account it will be green or red. In tables I can do it with conditional format depends of other column...but I can't do it with a chart.
Is possible to do this?

In 11g in graph properties in the second tab(STYLE)-->Graph Data ..Style and Conditional Formatting-->Conditional Formatting .
You can see all the columns used.
You can select the column and specify the filter condition and select the color for the graph.
You can select for which column you need to have the conditional formatting.

Master gain problem with Direct Audio Device: distorted sound

Hi everybody,
I'm in a bit of a fix here. I've got an application that plays music. Developped with 1.4.2, got it working.
However, when I run it with the the latest 1.5 release (5.0 update 6), the sound is distorted. More specifically, though I'm not entirely sure, I'd say it's the bass that gets distorted. By "distorted" I mean it's shrieking, scratching instead of... well, sounding.
I'm using the FloatControl.Type.MASTER_GAIN control to change the "volume". Since it's playback, I'm using a SourceDataLine, and that one ain't got no VOLUME control. Now the problem only appears when I'm amplifying the audio data, i.e. when the MASTER_GAIN's value is greater than 0.0 decibel.
Inverstigating a little more, I found out that 1.5 is using the "Direct Audio Device" Mixer as default as opposed to the "Java Sound Audio Engine" used by 1.4.2. If I force the use of the Java Sound Audio Engine with 1.5 (getting the line from the appropriate Mixer), the sound is OK. However, since the application is intended to be cross-platform, I'd prefer not to impose any such specific behaviour (plus the performance of the Direct Audio Device is twice as good).
Tested on Linux version 2.6.11-1.1369_FC4 and Windows NT.
Looked at www.jsresources.org, but didn't find any information specific to this problem.

Problem with lower third template & modifying the text...

I'm doing a top 10 type video, & I downloaded this lower third template & I had never used AE before; I figured out how to duplicate it multiple times through the video where appropriate... but when I modify the text on one template it does the same thing to all of them. How do I make them all separate?

Ok, think about what you have done to change the text for moment. You drilled down to a pre-comp or nested comp that contains a text layer. This makes perfect sense. Unfortunately that text pre-comp is also nested in a pre-comp. This means you need to find each of these pre-comps in your project panel and duplicate them there, open the duplicates and then change the text in the duplicates, then replace the original nested comps in the main comp.
I have another observation on your workflow. You've put a bunch of shots and transitions in a single comp which, in effect, tells me that you are using AE as a NLE (editing app). What I would have done is to put every one of your shots that you want to add titles to in a separate comp to simplify each comp. I'd then edit them in a NLE....
The other way I would do this project is to make a comp that is just the needed titles, one comp for each tltle overlay, render the titles with alpha channels, then bring the titles and the original footage into a NLE to edit and add titles.
Building extremely complex compositions with multiple shots in a single comp is usually not a very good idea, even for folks like me that have been doing AE for 20 years. AE is perfect at making shots, lousy at editing sequences so always, and I mean always, try to figure out how you can simplify your project to it's basic elements and build a comp on that. I've had 5 second animations with over a hundred layers, but I've never put 10 or 20 video clips in AE in a single comp and tried to create a sequence.

Problem with Bar Graph

i am using obiee 11g and i build a report using bar graph view.
here problem is in horizontal axis some of my values are missing alternative values are only showing in.
Bars are showing but labels for that corresponding bars are not displaying .
pls help me

Increase the width of the graph something 1000 or so.
