Problem with Designer, manifests

I get this message on windows log file, Can somebody give me some advice.

I solved the problem.
The cause would be: Multiple Designer versions installed on the client machine.
You should uninstall all the existing multiple versions(Ex: XI Release2, XI3.0, XI3.1) of Business Objects Designer.
Re-install the latest upgraded version of designer in use, as that on server machine.

Problems with Designer

Hello!, I have problems with option Capture Design
of.. Forms, because i lost some properties of the forms as relations and the way i show the items in Layout Editor from Forms. I have Forms 6.0.8.25.2 and Designer 6.5.95.4.8 installed.

On the menu bar of Design Editor of the Server Model Diagram, you need to click on Edit, Requery All. Otherwise, the Diagrammer will crash and exit.
This applies to all diagrammers in Designer 9i. If you have change a lot of objects in a diagrammer, you need to click on Edit, Requery All so that it will commit all changes to the Repository and free the Temporary Tables.

OIM 9.1 Time-out problem with Design Console

If I leave the design console running for any length of time, making updates result in the following error:

Closing the Design Console and re-launching produces similar errors. I must stop and restart the JBOSS server to get access again. My environment is Windows 2003 with JBOSS and an 11g database.
Any help on what to look for would be appreciated.

You are correct. If you pre-populate, it will be the requester. The requester would need to manually populate the field during the request with the requestee information. And there is only one form available. You can however, after submission of the request, get the request data, parse the Consolidated Request Data to determine the id's in the request field, and then return appropriate responses to trigger the tasks needed. This will still be a problem in the long run because you can't change the requestee information for each approval task. You're pretty much out of luck on this one.

Problem with Design View in DW5

I've recently inherited responsibility for my group's website (despite the fact that I'm kind of a noob at all this) and am dealing with an interesting challenge that I hope someone can help me with.
It seems that our pages are based on a number of templates that for some reason were not saved along with the rest of the site. Short term this is not a huge issue, as the pages have the source code from the templates embedded in them, but this code is not editable and I can't figure out a way to override the fact that I'm "locked out" from making any changes (at least from within Dreamweaver). Up to now I've just been editing the pages individually in Komodo, which is tedious but not horrible, given that our site isn't that big, but it's clearly no way to do business in the long term.
So I'm trying to re-engineer some templates that I can work with. What I did was use Komodo to strip away all of the template-related language from one of the site pages, and re-imported the code back into Dreamweaver, in the hope that I can then save that as a new template. I'm close, but not quite there. My problem is that DW's Design View isn't rendering the page properly, even though it displays fine in Live View and in browsers. Maybe this isn't a huge deal, but it's really bugging me because: 1) I do rely on Design View, since I'm not an experienced programmer; and 2) I'm kind of anal retentive.
To see what I'm talking about, here is the page I used as the foundation for creating a new template:

The second page displays correctly in Live View, Safari and Firefox, but not in DW's Design View, where it looks like this, at least on my computer:
As you can see, there's an odd "break" between the banner image and the menus on the left, and the body of the page, which should appear to the right of the menus on the left, is instead underneath them. I'm at a loss as to why the same code displays properly for the first page, but not the second.
I guess my questions are as follows:
1) Does anyone else get the same messed up display in DW's design view if they import the second page into DW?
2) And if so, can you pinpoint where the problem is?

Validate your code and fix errors. #1 problem is the lack of a valid Document Type Declaration (DTD) on line 1 of HTML code.

To add a DTD in DW:
Go to Modify > Page Properties > Title/Encoding.
Select document type from drop list. I recommend HTML 4.0 Transitional.
Hit Apply & OK.
Repeat Steps 1 - 3 on remaining site pages.
I'm not a huge fan of DW Templates (.dwt). I don't know how big your site is but it might be simpler to disconnect from Templates, giving you freedom to edit anything you wish. Then use Server-Side Includes (SSIs) for common site wide elements such as menus, headers & footers.
The great thing about SSIs is that you only need to edit one file, save it and upload to server. Site pages are automatically updated by the server. With Templates, you have to upload every child page each time you change your template. Even on small sites, this is tedious.

Problem with design area in netbeans

out of no where am starting to have this problem.....my design area in netbeans is not visible....when i create a new JFrame , the code to the basic design area is
there, but when i switch to design view there is no design area. thus i can not drag any items there......am using netbeans 6.0.1 ...the problem occured out of no where , the ide used to work fine before....... i found the similar problem in this thread :

After installing BOXI in my own windowsxp professional system, when i logging on to Designer , the following error message appears:
"[repo_proxy 13] SessionFacade;;openSessionLogon with user info has failed(Internal error.(hr=#0x80042a01)"
the authentication is enterprise.
Please help!

I had this happen a couple of times... the problem went away when I located a mistyped setDataItemName() or other DAC property value. Which sometimes happens if one is manually entering them cuz they are having the stuff generated in another class.
That's one cause I've found.
Also I always compile what I have before going into Design View to make sure the code is OK.

Problem with Designer Calendar

Hi,
I use the calendar functionalyty of Designer (with the Headstart routine to call it). It works fine, but there is one problem: the days of de week don't correspond with dates. E.g. today is WEDNESDAY april 3 (W)=> but the calendar says it is TUESDAY april 3 (T).
I think it is due to my NLS_LANG is set tot DUTCH.
Any clue?

IIRC, the day-of-week depends on the NLS_LANG setting. In the US, weekday 1 is sunday, in Europe it is monday.
In Designer 6.0 and 6i there is a bug in the Calender that does not take this into account.
I do not know of any solution to this (other than hacking the calender-window itself).

Problems with design view after moving to new imac

Moved CS4 Dreamweaver from my Mac Mini intel duo to a new i5 Imac last night: suddenly design view is not showing various CSS styles, especially certain links.
For example, instead of this:
HOME | ABOUT | CONTACT | HELP
it will show this in design view:

Meanwhile, in a browser live on the web, everything is fine.
I did a fresh install of dreamweaver CS4 last night from original install disks to new i5 Imac.
Help!

Culprit is the classic MS Windows font ARIEL. I installed it one at a time from two different sources (a 1999 TT build and a 2001 TT build) and both immediately caused problems, particularly in Dreamweaver with vanishing text in design view for any fonts setting sassigned the "ariel, helvetica sans serif family").
Since problem only is happening on the 2011 i5 Imac (but not on my old Mac Mini 1.6 or emac G4) I will guess the dilemma resides with fontbook or something peculiar to font management on the iMac.
Removing font of course solved all problems.

Problem With Designing a Report that Contains a Subreport

Tools: SQL Server 2012 , Report Builder 3.0
I am having an issue creating a report that has a tablix with the main set of data all in a group and within a cell of that tablix I have a subreport that goes based on the previous data within that tablix group. Problem is, the subreport
works when it wants to or generates errors that aren't really helpful.
Error example:
Exception of type 'Microsoft.ReportingServices.ReportProcessing.ReportProcessing+DataCacheUnavailableException' was thrown.
An error has occurred during report processing. (rsProcessingAborted)
I am wondering if there is alternative way to accomplish what I need.
Report layout:
SQL Table ID
Data based on that ID
Subreport with data from above passed into the parameters.
repeat for the next table ID within a certain data range.

In the main report, right-click a cell to insert a subreport.
Right-click the subpeort to open the Subreport Properties, and select the subreport name in the drop-down list.
In the left panel of the Subreport Properties dialog box, click Parameters.
Select Name in the drop-down list of ID, and select [ID] in the drop-down list of Value.

Problems with designer installation

When installing designer I get the following

It is early days but so far so good.

Problem with Design View display

Hi,
Working happily in Design view using RH 10, and from one moment to the next the Design View display changed. The font display has changed to a truncated style and the word wrap has disappeared.
I tried rebooting and then reinstalling and no luck in getting rid of the issue.
The output is fine and as expected, so I am presuming that it isn't the CSS. Which I haven't edited for eons anyway so it really shouldn't be that anyway.
This is happening on all my help projects - each with a different CSS - so it can't be the css unless RH did some sort of strange global change behind the scenes without my knowledge.
Any thoughts on how to get Design View to display normally would be much appreaciated,

Hi there
One possible suspect you may be unaware of is pressing and holding the Ctrl key as you rotate the wheel of a mouse. There may be a keyboard shortcut that would do this too.

1. The installation of Designer 9.0.2.4 deinstalls the Oracle Home Selector.
2. The Design Editor crashs, if I choose in a server model diagram the menu item "Properties..." in the context menu of a table definition.

I have provided Dataflow Diagramm. Now I provide Process Modell. But if I make open down for one Processstep, I get the error messages s. down (I have a German Version). And that is only with this Processstep. I has subordinated Dataflow diagram for this Processstep. How can I continue my working?

Problem with Design Console configuration - please help

Dear All,
I am trying to configure design console. It is installed on Windows XP and should point to remote server. I am getting the following error on OIM Server and Port screen:
INST-07057: Error in validating the Hostname field value. Entered host is not up and running
Make sure that the host is up and running
But host is up and running. I can ping it successfully and oim admin interface is working. I suspect this is permission issue.
If you can help me to resolve this I would appreciate it very much.
