Problem with downloading iOS 5 for iPad 2

I face problem while downloading iOS 5.0.1 for iPad 2. First, I have upgraded the latest version of iTune and followed the onscreen instruction for downloading iOS 5.0.1 already. However, when the downloading process continues about half an hour, I get the following message: "There was a problem downloading the software for the iPad. The network connection timed out. Make sure your network settings are correct and your network connection is active, or try again later." I try to verify and see that there is nothing wrong with my network connection. Then what should I do to get iOS 5.0.1?

Have you a firewall or anti virus software enabled? If so, disable it temporarily.

If you are currently running an iOS lower than 5.0, connect to your computer & click on the "Update your device using iTunes".
Tip - You may need to disable your firewall and anitvirus software temporarily. Then download and install the iOS update. Be sure and backup your iPad before the iOS update. After you update to iOS 6.x, the next update can be installed via wifi (i.e., not connected to your computer).

Problem with downloading iOS 4.2 for 4g

I've got a problem with updating my touch 4G, i click update, the download starts and halfway through it stops and a window pops up which says:
'There was a problem downloading the software for the iPod.
The network connection timed out.
Make sure your network settings are correct and your network connection is active, or try again later.'
I checked my connection, its all good, everything works fine, I can connect to the iTunes Store.
Everytime i try to download the update, the same thing happens.
Does anybody have some suggestions here that might solve the problem?

Been encountering the same problem for two days, drove me crazy! Tried everything, including disabling the firewall and antivirus but nothing worked, so here is what worked with me:
If you use Internet Explorer, do the following:
First close iTunes then go to Internet Explorer > Tools > Internet Options > Advanced Tab and then scroll until you get to the ''Security'' section, uncheck the box that says: Check for server certificate revocation* and now launch iTunes and try again. Hope this works for you as well!

HT201210 iOS 7 problems with download and restore on ipad mini

I downloaded iOS 7 on my ipad mini. When I tried to restore it on iTunes, it says it's extracting my software, but when it's done extracting, it says it can't be restored due to an error. I read troubleshooting page & did updates. Restarted computer & still doesn't work! Can anyone help?

Having problems with my VGA adaptor for iPad.

I bought the VGA adaptor for iPad from BB the other day, and when it arrived, I could not get it to work with my iPad (iPad 1 with latest OS). I tried adjusting settings on my monitor (I'm using it with my second computer monitor, a 24" AOC brand), but I could not get anything to display. I tried plugging it into my new iPhone 4S, and it worked flawlessly with every application. I then tried using it with my new iPod Touch, with latest OS installed, and it would not do anything either. So I have this adaptor for iPad, and it works with my iPhone 4S, but not my iPad or iPod Touch. Does anyone out there have any answers or suggestions?

The iPad 1 only sends video to the adapter when a slideshow or a video is playing. You can not see the normal iPad 1 display on a VGA screen. It does not support "mirroring" the way an iPhone 4S will.
That said, it is possible you have a bad connector on the iPad 1. If you can take it to an Apple Store Genius, they should be able to verify whether or not it is working correctly.

The link your professor provided only downloads, and does not install anything. Look for it in the Downloads folder. The folder they download is zipped, and it may un-zip automatically. They expect you to drag the unzipped 'Eclipse' folder to a location you find convenient.
The package it downloads is a fairly old 32-bit version for Mac OS X 10.5 or later. The link to the Eclipse developer site has newer versions including a 64-bit version if you have a Mac running 64-bit kernel or 10.8 or later.
AS Kappy suggests, executing eclipse.app should give you error messages that point out any deficiencies.

Has anyone had any problems with the latest upgrade for iPad?

I have an iPad 1 and am being prompted to upgrade to the latest version software. Has anyone had any problems when doing this? Our PC runs on Wndows 7.
Having just resolved iTunes not connecting to the store after the recent upgrade, I'm reluctant to do something that could potentially screw up the iPad which does what we want as it is.

That's probably a good idea. If you are happy with the system as is, I'd wait to upgrade. I can report that my friends and family have mostly upgraded to iOS 5 without any problems, but as you can probably tell from other posts on this board, lots of people have run into problems.

I tried to update my iphone today, and after it finished and said "Verifying Download" My phone went into recovery mode. I tried to restore it but it isnt working at all.

Same problem for me after the update. No matter what movie I try to download, it stalls halfway. Interestingly, could be a wider iTunes issue as I ended up with the same problem trying to download movies to my MacBook Air.

My ipad 3 has frozen downloading the new ios update. It is at the apple screen with an empty progress bar. When I restart it, all I can do is get back to the apple screen with the empty progress bar. What else can I do to either stop this update or get my ipad to restart?

Problem with Adobe Content Viewer for ipad

Hello,
I created an application from folio bulider 1.350 gigabytes.
Once downloaded using Adobe Content Viewer on Ipad i can display it without any problems, but when I turn off the Ipad or delete Adobe Content Viewer by applications running in the background, and I open again Adobe Content Viewer that I get stuck and does not open.
Adobe Content Viewer I see in the background but does not stay open and do not show my application.
Should I delete the Adobe Content Viewer from iPad, download it again from the App Store and re-download my application.
It could be a problem of size? 1.350 gigabytes is too much?
It could be a problem version of indesign? I use version 5.0

Go into the folder and doubleclick the AppleApplicationSupport.msi to do a standalone AAS install.
