Problem with internet in Lumia 520

I bought my Lumia 520 few days back. I use wifi connection of BSNL BB. It was working fine these days. But now what ever the address i type in IE it opens the webpage "Georgia Pacific" and none other apps installed could use the internet. please help me to solve this issue. I have attached the screenshot.

Thank you for the information you have provided. You may also try checking if all the system apps are updated. Store>...>settings>check for updates. Try rebooting it by pressing and holding the power and the volume down keys simultaneously for 10-15 seconds.

Adding To The LIst Of Problems With Internet Explolrer 11 And Another Browser

I've b1 of the EA6500 router and like the othe posts I can't use IE 11. The "solution" is to use either Chrome or Firefox but not my Chrome has stopped working. All I get now is the LInksys Blue background. When I first see the site it looks like it's trying but then gives me a blue page. I've included screen prints of what I see when I go to Linksys Smart Wi-Fi page and below that is the version number. I have deleted my browser history, cache, saved form data, etc. but the result is still the same. And it doesn't matter if I use the router IP address or the Smartsys Wi-Fi link.
So right now the only broweser that will let me do router administration is Firefox but something tells me it too will have problems eventually.
the problem I'm having isn't with the router, it is with the company. People have tried to blame Micrtosoft in these posts for the problem but it's not their problem. The real kicker is that these Smart Wi-Fi routers are not old. nor are they cheap. LInksys announced this line at CES 2012, then again in April, and the last one announced for thie "initial" line-up of new routers was the EA6500 (the EA6500 was anounced in June 2012).
I've been mostly happy with LInksys reouters but if this is the way they are going to conduct business, then maybe I need to make certain adjustments with the networking products we purchase.
To put it bluntly...this situation is unacceptable.

Believe it or not I stumbled across the solution to the problem and need to partially retract one of my previous statements. In a sense part of the responsibility does go to Microsoft because during one of their infamous "updates", the default version of Internet Explorer was changed to use the 64-bit version. I rarely used the Internet Explorer (64 bit) link in my Start Menu...I always used the "default" which apparently was the 32-bit version because there are plenty of companies that have not updated their software for 64-bit.
The article I came across is Problem With Internet Explorer? Maybe You Need Fewer Bits. The fix is simple and all it really takes is to right-click the icon for Internet Explorer and choose "Properties". When that comes up change the value in the "Target" field from "C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe" to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe". Once you make the change save the change and then use that link to get to administer your browser. I tried it and it worked. I guess I missed the post from Linksys Support about that possibility.

In the Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/ folder delete the following:
com.apple.airport.preferences.plist
NetworkInterfaces.plist
preferences.plist
com.apple.nat.plist
You will have to re-configure all your network settings since deleting.

Use Software Update to update your OS to last version of Tiger. Install all the other updates that goes along w/it.

Gui 7.0 windows xp, problem with Internet Explorer 6.0

Hello Gurus,
I am installing SAP GUI 7.00, on all the windows XP machines, of our SAP users. All the machines where GUI 7.00 is installed, are facing the problem with Internet Explorer. When we click on IE we don't get error but the requested URL do not show anything. Our version of Internet exploerer is 6.0.

I have called Onda, there isn't the driver for Mac OS X 10.6.7 and they don't know if it'll be released.
So if you have a Mac it's better to not buy Onda internet key,
instead it's better to choose other brands that update the drivers of their products.

Most printing issues are solved by resetting the Printing preferences. When you print from Firefox and you click on the down arrow, do you see Defualt and Firefox? Please make changes to the preferences here and preview the document.

Problem with Internet connection sharing between eMac and Powerbook G3

Hi,
I seem to be having a slight problem with internet connection sharing.
My eMac is the main machine with the internet connection, and its running 10.4.6, the Powerbook G3 is running 10.2.8.
I can connect them all up and get online with both, but I the problem I am having is when I turn the Firewall on on the eMac, the powerbook can't connect.
Is there anyway I can keep the Firewall enabled and still use internet connection sharing?

How do I know which ports the Powerbook is using?
Also I had web sharing enabled on the eMac and it made no difference at all.
Plus I don't know if this means anything to you, trying to decipher it myself, all I can make out myself on there is port 80.

Printer print size is very small. Do not have this problem with Internet explorer.

Nokia Lumia 520 problem with internet

Hey
My girlfriend bought today a nokia lumia 520 from an internet shop.
Now she is installing it and it seems to have a problem.
So our netwerk is 'telenet' where we have an abo wich include 1gb internet.
She installed everything like it has to, APN and stuff all ok.
Now she cannot connect to the 3 or 2g netwerk on her phone, it keeps saying we have to put 'roaming' on.
If we do this, the internet goes, but i dont think that is how its supposed, maybe she will have to pay a lot if she does roaming. While we actually dont need it.
Can you help us with this problem?

Problems with data sense download 520 lumia

Telstra took my data limit along with over $200 in data and now I have been trying to find and download Data Sense to no avail,this is getting me so stressed out and it was not even on the phone initially?can someone please help me with trouble shooting this?never have I had so much difficulty with an app download,also my screen has and continues to go to a black background and just changes my background colours etc

Just to clarify, you'd like to track your usage for the $200 data service from Telstra using Data Sense. However, you can't find the app in the phone settings or in the Store, is that right? The availability of this feature may be controlled by the operator. If it's neither in the phone settings or in the Store, best to ask Telstra if they fully support Data Sense for the Lumia 520.
For your query about the phone's display, do you mean that it only shows a black background even after changing the accent color under Settings > start + theme? If so, try checking if the High contrast setting is enabled under Settings > ease of access. While this setting is turned on, the phone will change the colors for some features and hide some of the background images, including the lock screen.

Spry menu problems with Internet explorer

Hi everyone
I'm having ongoing problems with my horizontal menus and
internet explorer. They work fine in other browsers and with the
generous help of others at these forums I've managed to sort out
most of the problems. But I've hit a real wall with this one. The
menus drop down showing the links OK but you cannot highlight or
click on the options that drop down, they just appear as text. Any
help would be appretiated. My appologies for posting in other
threads also but just hoping for a response.
I am very new to this side of design so simple answers would
be very helpful. Thanks

I have 2 similar problems to the prior posts:
1) I run IE7 and FF and the positioning of my submenus are
skewed in IE only.
2) I am not sure, but I believe I have a problem with my
iframe appearing in my IE7 browser behind all of my submenus. Well,
I know I have a problem with something, but whether or not it's the
iframe I don't know. What I do know is that the box shows up like a
border around my submenus and I can't get rid of it. I suspect that
it may be caused by the fact that my menu buttons are imported
gif's in the shape of rounded rectangles which allows for the
corners to be visible. I actually just thought about it and my
gif's are set to have a white index transparency, but maybe If I
export the gifs without transparency, then that issue will be
resolved. Well I will try that part and see, but any and all
suggestions are welcome. Oh and I just remembered, that problem
with the border around my submenus also has another problem with
the word "false" inside of that border behind my submenus. This
problem again is only in my IE browser, and it is hard to see it,
but I have no idea why that is there or what it's from. I ran a
search in my SpryMenuHorizontal.css page and in my html page for
the word 'false' but nothing turned up. The only document related
to this issue that contains the word 'false' is the
'SpryMenuBar.js' document.

Can't get into talk talk email account in Mozilla, you have undefined new mails in your inbox message. No problem with Internet Explorer though

I've been using the Firefox browser for nearly a year now but for the past three days I can't open my tiscali email account via Firefox. The message "you have undefined new mails in your inbox" comes up. Talk Talk technical help says there is a problem with Firefox and advised me to use Internet Explorer. I can get into my account through Explorer but would much prefer to use Firefox so please help me out.

Apparently TalkTalk mail will work with Firefox 4 and Firefox 5 ''if'' you set the browser to ''lie'' to TalkTalk mail by saying that you are still using version 3.6.
You can find the instructions for that in a post on the TalkTalk forums: [http://www.talktalk.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=185113#post2452787 Firefox 4 & TalkTalk webmail - Forums].
Note: when you open about:config the first time, it will display a warning message that you should be careful with the changes you make. That's definitely good to bear in mind.

Problem with internet connect?

I have installed a Netgear wireless router, which is connected to my eMac by an ethernet cable. I can access the internet through Firefox without a problem, but when I try to check software update or get to the itunes store it says it cannot connect to the internet. I think that this must be something to do with internet connect, as when I log in a error message comes up on the screen and also the only options for connection when internet connect is opened is BT Voyager 105 (the previous ADSL Modem) and Internal Modem.
If anyone can offer any advice I would be very grateful!

Hi David,
I opened up Safari, went to preferences, and then clicked the advanced tab. There should be a button saying 'Proxies: change settings', I clicked on this and it opened up the network settings (through system preferences),and found that it was trying to connect through an old proxy set up whilst it was on a university network. I simply highlighted the proxy (xxxx.ac.uk), pressed the delete key, and then clicked on the apply now button. All seemed to work then! I suspect I was just lucky that this was the only cause of the problem, as it seems that some people have not been able to resolve their problem this way.

Make sure that the back cover is seated correctly before taking the phone back. There have been a number of people complaining of a similar problem and refitting the rear cover seems to have solved the issue for them.
