Problem with iTunes and iPhone Music organization. PLEASE READ AND HELP!

Hello All!
I have this problem concerning iTunes and my iPhone. When I add music, and I update the Artist title to organize it in my iPhone, It shows EDITED on my mac in iTunes, but not my iPhone. I took a screen shot of what It shows. The TOP is iTunes showing "Arie Dixon" and "Arie Dixon & Olivia Cipolla" two seperate CD's, yet different Artist Titles, just the way I want it. The BOTTOM shows how the file was originally, in 3 seperate titles, "Bebe Boohgz" "The Jackmove 3" and "Arie Dixon 'Bebe Boohgz' and Olivia Cipolla". The problem is that iTunes shows it in the correct title, but my iPhone won't. This is my 2nd iPhone 4 I have that has this problem. I'm not sure if it's the settings or encoding, can someone help me out? I can't be the only person with this problem. Apple rep looked at me like o_O
I also have music that won't appear in my iPhone, I manually have to search for, but appears on my iTunes in the correct title.
I also have everything updated, and have the new os x release.

Are you getting a specific error message when trying to do this?
As for the message about the media disappearing, of course it will. This is how iOS upgrades work. The device is wiped and the newest version of iOS for the device is installed as a "new" device then the device is restored using the backup created prior to the upgrade.
All the content on the device should already exist in iTunes on the computer.
If you want to move your iTunes library to a different drive for capacity reasons, do the following:
Close iTunes
Copy or Move the ENTIRE iTunes folder from the C drive to the other drive.
While holding SHIFT launch iTunes. iTunes will then prompt the user to select a library or create a new one. Point iTunes to the new iTunes folder location.

Downloaded 5.01 and latest itunes. Had errors on iphone needed to restore now when i plug into itunes it freezes I need to use task master to close.if i plug my wifes phone in no problems with itunes took it to apple store tech no help.

Have iphone 3g with 5.0 I downloaded 5.01 for phone and itunes latest download. Had errors on download and needed to restore. Everything came back except apps.
Pluged into itunes and it gave me the restore screen. restored again. Now when i plug into itunes it shows my phone but freezes up. I need to use task master to close itunes. Went to apple store tech. No help said to use Icloud but no WiFi is available. My wife's phone works fine with itunes.

Basic troubleshooting steps clearly outlined in the User Guide are restart, reset, restore from backup, restore as new device.
If you have gone through ALL the above steps and are still having problems, then you'll need to bring your phone into Apple for evaluation.

it appears this "1" in red cyrcle. And then

Sitting right next to my new laptop is the old one that started out with XP on it. Has Win7 and itunes fires right up. I called my brother, he doesn't have apple products. He just bought a new laptop and did the 8.1 upgrade and guess what? Itunes still won't recognise my 4S....

My daughter has an iphone 5 with ios 7.02. Ever since she updated to ios7 she has not been able to update her apps. When she tries they grey out and are stuck on waiting. We have tried everything and I think I have read every post on the subject. I decided to work on it again today and I have deleted as many of the apps as I can, there are still some that are completely grey that don't show in any list and won't delete off the phone.
I cannot update to ios 7.03 because it does not show that as an update. Now when you look at the app store icon it has a little #28 on it but when I go into the App Store app to see the updates it only shows 4 because I have deleted all the other apps.
Things to know.
This phone has only ever been in icloud.
Never connected to the computer.
I have tried every version of signing out of itunes, deleting apps, resetting network settings, reset by holding on/off and home button that I can read about. I'm at a loss.
These are my main questions/concerns-
Why won't the deleted apps come off the screen?
Why does the App store icon show 28 but when go into the App store app it only has 4 updates?
Why is there no ios 7.03 to update to?
Why can't we update the 4 apps that need to be updated? (she can't use them at all)
Even the apps that have been deleted and show to be in the cloud can't be downloaded-why not?
I would really appreciate any help. It's been such a problem...I really don't want her to lose everything if possible. She is a 13 year old girl and would love to keep all her data etc.

If this is only happening occasionally with incoming calls, I would check the signal strength where it occurs and also check with the carrier to have them check your account. Phone calls are a carrier responsibility, and since it seems to be a infrequent issue, I would look at the carrier first.

I seem to have gotten myself into a tricky situation. I use a Blackberry 9900 as my main phone and love it as I send hundreds of emails and hundreds of IMs, BBMs, Tweets etc everday. I've always envied the ease an iPhone offers in terms of speed, browsing on a larger screen and the far superior app store. Nevertheless I'm reluctant to fully trade in my Blackberry. I got a new job and have a lot of work contacts and my job involves photography, networking and promotion. I decided to find an iPhone 3G to use for this side of my life and so I could use Instagram. My friend told me her boyfriend had an iPhone 4S available as he now had the new Samsung 3 phone and I could get it for 'mates rates' I bought it for £250. I think it's a good price.
He told me it was locked to 3 and this wasn't a concern to me because it's a work phone I don't care which network I'm using. My Blackberry is on o2.
I purchased a micro sim from 3 for iPhone's and put it in to see it say 'No Service' I went into the 3 store and they told me I inserted it correctly and gave me te customer service number and let me use the in store phone to contact them. I gave them the phone information I received when I purchased it and they told me that the phone was blocked. I was so upset. I asked how can I unlock it as I'm now the owner and paid a fair amount of cash for it and they told me to contact the sellr and that he can call them for me and unblock it vert easily. I contacted him and he told me to try another sim and has since been no help.
He has assured me the phone is not faulty and that it was working for him. He gave me a print out of the warranty for he phone and it does not expire until Oct 16th 2012. Three insist when I called back that the phone isn't faulty but indeed blocked. I offered to give them his name and details to prove I knew the owner, but they will not accept this. I told him this is too much hassle and I would like my money back, he will not text me.
My friend, well she is saying that the phone worked just fine for them.
I don't know how to fix an iphone, I don't know if it's faulty or blocked. 3 wouldn't lie, but I didn't expect my friend would either.
Can I fix this on my own? I'm not usually impulsive and this is why :/
Is there anything I can download to unlock it on my own. It is essentially at this point an iTouch and if I wanted that I would have purchased that for less than I paid or this.
Any suggestions, advice on how to resolve this problem either with the phone or the people involved would be appreciated.

The previous carrier is the company Three. I bought the 3 sim and it didn't work so I went to my local Three shop and with the information I gave them they told me the phone was blocked. Is this the same as what you are saying?

Every time I plug my iPhone into iTunes, it says 'The iPhone "Leon's iPhone" cannot be synced. An unknown error occurred (-54)'. It has never happened to me before until a couple of hours ago!!! So, I decided to totally wipe out my iTunes Library and update it to the latest software. I also updated my iPhone to the latest software (5.1.1.) - and still, even after all this, it still says there is an error and cannot be synced. SERIOULSY APPLE, WHAT NEXT?!!!!! PLEASE HELP!!!!!

I was downloading a video and it was taking a long long time to download, I clicked the x next to the title in the little window in the center of the top and it cancelled all qued music i had selected to download and already paid for with a prepaid card!! How do I get those songs that qere qued??!

Go to the iTunes Advanced menu > Check for Purchases.
That should solve your problem.

i have recently bought a 80 gb blk iPod classic. Well it was 4 weeks ago and im already experiencing abnormal shuddowns.
On the 25the Nov (Today) i was just using the stopwatch to time my speech and while i was writin it, i put it aside, on. When i picked it back up to time my speech again, it just wouldnt turn on. I had to do the reseting method (Hold toggle, select and menu thing) and i had to restore it on itunes. can someone explain this and please tell me this is normal

You'll probably have to either RMA your system to MSI, or have al local repair shop reprogram your BIOS for you. I'm facing the same situation with my system, because I followed the procedures listed by MSI on the BIOS update page. Come to find out, they had neglected to post instructions that current BIOS versions between 700 and 708 would need to be flashed with an intermediate version prior to flashing 717. The best part about the whole thing, they didn't update their update page with this information, or the intermediate BIOS file, until the day after my system was bricked. Now I get to pay shipping and insurance to ship my system to them, and be without it for 3+ weeks, because of their neglect. Yay... I probably should've stayed with ASUS. lol

If you've installed the 10.5.7 update and are having problems there are some possible remedies. Most often the problems are created by an existing problem in the system that is updated. Here are some things to do that could help:
1. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions
Boot from your OS X Installer disc. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Installer menu (Utilities menu for Tiger and Leopard.) After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the installer. Now restart normally.
If DU reports errors it cannot fix, then you will need Disk Warrior (4.0 for Tiger, and 4.1 for Leopard) and/or TechTool Pro (4.6.1 for Leopard) to repair the drive. If you don't have either of them or if neither of them can fix the drive, then you will need to reformat the drive and reinstall OS X.
2. Download the 10.5.7 Combo Updater and reinstall the update. Prior to installation remove all third-party peripherals. Use only the original keyboard and mouse that came with your computer.
3. Open Disk Utility in your Utilities folder and repair permissions again.
If this does not solve your problems, then you need to restore the backup of your old system, then follow the above instructions. If that doesn't solve your problem, then you may need to reinstall OS X from scratch or have your computer checked for possible hardware failure.

Problems with toplink in a ROLAP application - please , I need help

I am not too much experieced with toplink but I want use it for building a ROLAP (relational OLAP) client (something like Discoverer Plus) . Because of an database bug , Oracle Warehouse Builder can not generate materialized views creation scripts that help in agregation . This bug wiil be eliminated in 11gR2 database . OWB generate these materialized views creation scripts in a clob column of database but these scripts is not valid. These scripts can be extracts from database , corect and run .
This ROLAP-enabled schema is a star schema (a fact table in center sourounded by dimensions tables , with FK in these tables) generated by OWB . It does not have a PK associated with fact table.
Because of this fact , when I try to generate a status report of map associttiaded with tables from schema , I receive this
Descriptor SalesCube -> No primary keys specified in SSB.SALES_CUBE table.
Discoverer Plus does not complain about this PK missing, but it knows fact tables does not have PK .
Please give an ideea,

You can't. This is Find My iPhone Activation Lock. Apple MAY be able to help if you have the original purchase receipt. Otherwise, without the original Apple ID, the device is worthless.

I'm trying to confirm that both lxdm and lightdm do not properly establish a systemd session upon login. Thanks to tomegun in this thread for the detective work. In short, if you both use systemd and login graphically with EITHER lxdm or lightdm, please post the output of:
$ ck-list-sessions | grep TRUE
$ loginctl
For me, logging in with lxdm or lightdm, the result is:
$ ck-list-sessions | grep TRUE
active = TRUE
is-local = TRUE
$ loginctl
SESSION UID USER SEAT
0 sessions listed.
So lxdm or lightdm are not establishing systemd sessions correctly... if I log in with gdm, the results for the `loginctl` are different:
$ loginctl
SESSION UID USER SEAT
9 1000 facade seat0
1 sessions listed.
