Problem with latest Update IOS 6.1.2 in Itunes

Ipod 5th Generation after re-establishment always in factory state. What can I do now? Ipod always tells to connect with Itunes. But even when I connect with Itunes I can’t update the latest Softwareupdate (IOS 6.1.2).

Maybe:
Restore loop (being prompted to restore again after a restore successfully completes)
Troubleshoot your USB connection. If the issue persists, out-of-date or incorrectly configured third-party security software may be causing this issue. Please follow Troubleshooting security software issues. .
Next try placing in DFU mode and then restoring.
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
Then try restoring on another computer.
Last, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.

Touch sensitivity problem after latest update iOS 6.1

Hi guys,
does anyone else have the same problem? After updating my iPhone 5 to latest version iOS 6.1, touch screen stared to work wierd. I have to slide a few times just to unlock my screen. Can not poroperly open any application and when I want to scrool, that's pain in the ***.
Can anyone help me about this? Is that problem with the update iOS 6.1 or my iPhone5, 3 motnhs old become broken?

Hi. I have a 3 years old 3GS which i have updated whenever a new iOS was avaialble. This has been working with improvements besides the fact that the phone gradually is becomming slower with increased functions and especially from iOS 6.0 and up. It has however worked ok keeping in mind that it is a 3 years old phone. With the latest update to iOS 6.1, however, the use af the iphone has severely been affected, much like you other guys are experiencing. The below described behavior of the iphone has never happened before, until the faithfull morning of the 4th of februar, 2013 when i accepted to update the iOS to 6.1. Immediately after the update the problems started:
When sliding to unlock the phone it takes several attemps (sometimes 10 or more) before the slider actally follows my finger to the end and the iphone unlocks.
When typing (eg. a text msg. or email message), it is now allmost impossible to type a meaningfull message because some of the keys do not respond and other only respond to a very hard press. Only when typing very slowly, making sure the touchscreen is actually responding, a usefull message can be made. It seems like the sesitivity of the touchscreen has been altered making it less sensitive.
The same behaviour is observed for other functions and Apps like games which are now impossible to use due to the poor response of the touch screen.
Now i only wish i could roll back the iOS to an earlier version (like 5.1.1) where the iphone was really working well.
I really hope that a new and improved iOS will be out soon to correct for this problem

Streaming Video problems with Latest update of Lion.

Having major issues with streaming youtube videos since the latest Lion update. The videos play halfway through and then just stop, every video that I try. Other news websites that used to play flawlessly are also hanging up. Is this a youtube issue or are others having problems with Lion in regards to videos. iMac Intel

Problems with latest update - backing up

After reading all the previous postings regarding the problems with the new update, I now realise that I am not alone in this and that the whole update is a complete mess! I think I will continue with my previous version and see what apple come up with. But what I do need to do is backup my music and I was going to do this using discs, but obviously I cannot now do it this way because the option has been taken away from me. (my itunes updated without a problem hence the back-up disc option disappearing, but my husband received the same message about errors and will not install so he still has the disc option, confusing I know!! ) If I chose "export library" from itunes is this the way to go to back-up to external hard drive? Also, I have not knowing backed up my music at any time, is it right that all music in my itunes library is automatically backed up somewhere on my computer and that if I uninstall itunes and then reinstall it, the library will automatically be added once installation has taken place?? You have probably realised, computers are not my strong point !!

you can easily back up your library to an external HD. just copy the entire iTunes folder (not just the iTunes music or media folder) to it, then use SyncToy to keep both folders in sync.

Is anyone else having majors problems with latest update?!?

I love my Droid X and have never had problems with it until now. My phone had been pestering me about the update so I finally let it. Then I didn't like the look of the main screen, but I liked the index down the side of the contacts and the new keyboard when texting (except the smiley face was missing). But then I started noticing problems, I can't move my contacts to groups and I can't take pictures. I have a constant notification that says 'Blank SD card SD card blank or has unsupported filesystem" and when I try to take a picture I get a message that says "Please insert sd card before using the camera". Is there any way to remove the update without erasing everything on my phone? I'm really not happy with Verizon giving us an update with these kinds of problems. I want a new update asap that undoes the last one.

The store will DO NOTHING for you if you are getting a message saying your SD card is having problems, so don't even go there as they will pretty much tell you that you are out of luck - VZW's official stance on the SD card issue is that it is not their problem. I started having problems with my SD card when the GB update came out back in August....the original SD card the phone came with completely corrupted, I bought a new card of my very own (since both 800 support and the VZW pretty much told me I was out of luck and laughed me out the door), which had problems as well, getting a message in both late August and mid-Sept that the card had problems and to reformat it. I seriously believe the phone itself, if not the update, is causing problems with the SD card. SD cards don't have problems like this....yes they fail just like anything else, but to have had one card go corrupt and another one give a damaged message all within a months time? Sorry that's not the cards....

Done the latest software updates and my phone is in a terrible starte!! Since upgrading to build 23.4.A.0.546 my phone has had a few serious issues that it has never had before. It could be related to my screen because I had to have a replacement fitted a few days before the update came out, but I can't be sure which is causing the problems. I mostly notice it in messaging apps (the default Messaging app, Facebook Messenger, InstaMessage and WhatsApp) but it happens in the Music app and Google Play as well. It looks like the app keeps refreshing itself, there is a very fast wiping and redrawing of the screen. If I'm in a messaging app it is very noticable because it causes the keyboard to disappear (I've tried a few different keyboards and the result is the same). *edit* It is far more pronounced in WhatsApp, which over the last 2 days has started acting like I am pressing the screen all over, opening menus, calling people, trying to take photos etc, all without me touching the screen at all! *edit* In the Music app and Google Play it makes opening the side bar menu almost impossible, because even before the side bar has slid out, the screen refreshes and it disappears. Can someone who knows tell me if all this refreshing could possibly be a screen related hardware issue, or is it software/firmware based? A colleague with a Z3 compact said he had noticed similar issues since the latest firmware update. Any help would be appreciated

GarageBand 1.x If you are upgrading it using iTunes on a Mac or PC, you can restore the original collection of instruments and sounds. There is no need to buy this collection. Press "You've already purchased?" When displayed on iPhone, iPad or iPod touch.
this puts on the AppStore but I have tried to restore as I wrote above, and does not work. There is nothing to restore.

I've been having the same problem. However, I believe my problem is due to the 3G issues I've been having. I don't have internet access even when the 3G symbol appears, so probably my iphone keeps trying to connect to the network and has its battery drained! Have you been having the same issue?

OK, it now sort of works. A couple of problems here:
After updating IOS, Safari iCloud was "automatically" switched off
Switching it on had no effect
resetting my iPad automatically switched off safari iCloud again
after switching it back on, it said "turning off safari data"
switched it off and on again, now it said : "turning on safari data" and the sync worked
On IOS 7 no problems
The bookmarks not being displayed was because after pressing the book icon, it defaulted to showing the history and I had to press "Back" to get to the other options

Problem with Adobe Updater - WebPremium CS3

Hello. Is anyone having trouble installing Adobe's latest updates to CS3 on Leopard (Macbook Pro)? It seems to hang on the Flash update. The update caused chaos on my Macbook Pro, constantly writing crash logs as soon as I quit a process another started up. I resorted to a clean install (my 3rd since Leopard) and exactly the same thing happens when Adobe Update Manager kicks in and gets stuck on Flash 9.0.2 update even when running as root. I reproduced the same results on my G5 too so at this point I can only assume the problem rests with Adobe. Anyone else?

Problems with Security Update 2006-002

I have problems with latest security update. I do not know what went wrong, but after installing "Security Update 2006-002 (PowerPC)" (1.0) on 2006-03-14 15:52:40 +0100: with Software Update from Tiger, my desktop (and probably not only desktop) is damaged.
The most visible thing is that all .html and .htm documents on my desktop does not have Safari icon anymore, they have some 'blank' icon and doubleclick on them DOES NOT start-up Safari, why?

note blank "apple - start.webarchive" also the Safari itself have somehow damaged icon, to same blank thing with triangle, possibly some 'generic app' or 'default.app' icon. It sits in the dock on 5th from left...(dont worry about real safari icon, that's newly added by me)

I am getting crazy, since I do not know what else is broken by last update.
I have tryed to repair permissions at least 3x, and also run update_prebindings and reboot, delete all system and user caches, and reboot.
Whole issue is system-wide, not only for one user.

The first thing you can try, if this is limited only to Safari icons, is to select on such icon, then press COMMAND-I to open the Get Info window. In the Open With section select Safari from the dropdown menu as the default app. Then click on the Change All button.
If this doesn't resolve the problem or if the problem extends to other appicons as well, then you may have some disk corruption resulting from not repairing the hard drive and permissions before doing the update. I suggest you do that:
Boot from your Tiger DVD. After the installer loads select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu. After DU loads select your OS X volume from the list on the left, click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the installer. Now shutdown the computer for a couple of minutes and then restart normally.
If DU reports errors it cannot fix, then you will need Disk Warrior (3.0.3 for Tiger) and/or TechTool Pro (4.1.1 for Tiger) to repair the drive. If you don't have either of them or if neither of them can fix the drive, then you will need to reformat the drive and reinstall OS X.

That is incorrect. Either you misread or the newspaper you read was wrong. iOS 6.1.2 fixes a bug that caused excessive activity and log entries with Exchange servers.
