In order to resolve your problem. Please give us some information in detail:
please use the command line "devenv.exe /log" to collect the VS Starts logs. See the link to get more information about devenv command:

And for better to troubleshooting your issue, I also want to investigate your VS setup log.
Try to use

hi again. first a have to apologize. i have oracle
database express edition 10g from school,so i dont
have registered version.When I said 'register' I didn't mean have it licensed, Oracle XE doesn't require any kind of license registration, it is free. By registering it I meant a technical issue. Once the database is started it tries to contact the listener at 1521 port, once contacted the oracle instance registers itself against it, and if it is successful you will have the administrator's page initialized and ready to access at the default 8080 port.

My requirement is to display information with a custom query (display info from P0008) in the General Information.
For this, we have chosen to work with Generic iViews.

Thanks for the reply. But my query was not regarding ESS in MSS.
Its about Generic iViews where you can fetch data using custom queries and user groups and display the same in the general information. I have attached the link provided by SAP below. There are mainly 3 parts to the config:
1. Creating of custom query.
2. Using FPM to add the generic iview for list to the perspective of the FPM appl of General information.
3. Then creating the WD iview of the added view within General information from content Admin and then adding the WD page to the General information page.
This is my comprehension of the steps provided. However there is one of the link within the Portal Content Admin that does not work.

Captivate 8 Course - Problems with Launch in LMS

I created a Captivate 8 course with a PPT with animiation. Added audio to the Captivate. So far, so good. Uploaded it to our LMS (SuccessFactors). Went to test the course in the staging environment. Course looked like it was going to launch, then the entire screen went black. Anyone run into this problem before?

Hi, Yes we are currently experience problems with our course in which the loading icon appears for the course.
For some of our users, if you press the play button, the course will start and for some, clicking the play button has no reaction.
Also, for some users, it'll automatically play without a play button (this should be the setting bc we have enabled the autorun feature).
Not sure what to do!

Problems with launching AI CS 5

Hi.
The problem is so:
I have a german Windows 7 (64), but I am not a germna and therfore I use some other programs in other language. To do this I choose at language settings another language as german for all programms that don't support unicode.
I used trial of Master Colection CS5 in English and it was all perfect. I bought MC CS5 german version and installed it. I have no problems with Photoshop but Illustrator doesn't want to launch anymore. It says that I must change my system language to German to launch it. If I do so it works, but in this case I can not use a lot of my other programs and a half of my files will became unreadable. And to restart the Windows every time is a "little bit" annoying.
I was tried to install MC CS 5 in eglish, but the serial works only with german language, and as far as I know from searching this forum, the only option to get Illustrator installed in english is to buy it once more, unfortunately I can not afford such thing now.
Now comes a question is it possible to avoid this check at start up and let Illustrattor run?
I asked support and get an aswer to deactivate all Windows services an try once more. I did it and it doesn't help (and in this case some of my other application are not working too).
Any ideas?

Hi there, yes this is unusual. I have illustrator CS5 aswell however there is a print option on mine. What happens if you try using the print short cut? (Command 'p').
Is this a new problem or have you updated etc?

Hi, Anyone tried to install a different launcher App (Nova for instance) after 4.4.2 upgrade? I experience problem with graphics performance after installation of such an app with ability to register as home app. The app does not even need to be started. Problems occur just after install from Play Store:- Many animations are laggy. For instance horizontal swipe in Calendar app or animation in and out from the app list is quite laggy.- The new menu entry "Home" in settings is probably there to select Home app, but the Settings app itself crashes when touching it. After lots of debugging with own apps, I have a feeling that the graphics hardware acceleration is the problem, but I can not identify the root cause of this behaviour. We have many of these tablets and those which have been upgraded to 4.4.2 behaves the same bad way. The previous 4.2.2 worked perfectly fine. 4.3 that comes with the Pro tablet is also OK, but this also gets problem with KitKat. It would be interesting to hear if others experience the same. Trond

Same problem here in Japan. What I did to try to bypass HP and the lack of appropriate support for this machine, was to install Nova launcher and set up lollipop features. It worked like a charm. Most of the slaggyshness was resolved.I also found a workaround to root the device with Kingroot/Kinguser so that I could rename/erase/move files on sd and usb like use to be with JB when I bought it. All worked fine until I tried to do a factory reset (had unistalled a core apk that I wanted back) via menu+vol-. The machine now can boot into the bootloader (I get all the options there), starts the factory reset wizard just fine but then when selecting the option WIFI/Ethernet .."wait a sec..." on screen and then, after a minute or two, it aborts the setup with prompt "Unfortunately, setup wizard has stopped".Does anyone have a fix for that? BTW, clean cache didn`t work for me.

OfficeJet 4500 and Problem with Launching Windows Explorer (XP OS)

I installed HP OfficeJet 4500 wireless printer with XP operating system on my desktop PC in Wireless mode. Printing works fine from desktop and wireless laptops. However, when I try to access Windows Explorer on my desktop PC, using the desktop shortcut or executable file name in the "Run" menu, the screen flashes, goes blank (blue screen) then refreshes the desktop but will not launch Windows Explorer. This also occurs when I go to My Computer or Network Places and select "My Documents" or click on the root of the C: drive. The only way I can access my files is to use the actual program they were created in (i.e., Word, Excel, Adobe, etc.) I used System Restore and restored my computer to a date prior to installing the printer and this solved the problem. When I reinstalled the HP OfficeJet printer, the problem recurred, so it is definitely associated with installing the printer. Anyone have a fix for this? Thanks for your help.

I haven't seen that issue specifically. I would download and run the HP Printer Diagnostic Utility. There might be some file conflicts during the installation that are not resolved that this utility might fix. I have a C309a AiO that had some other issue that the Diagnostic utility fixed.

Problems with Launch daemon

I'm having troubles getting a Launch Daemon to work. I have two that are almost identical and run to fix permissions on a pesky folder (it's a bandaid solution to a permissions problem). This launch daemon works perfectly:

[SOLVED] Eclipse in chroot environment - problem with launching it wit

I have a problem running eclipse (set in 32bit chroot on 64bit OS) with schroot. It was working formerly, but now launching it causes crash.
Other chrooted apps (like skype or cups) are working properly.
Error log generated by openjdk.

Problem with launching iTunes

Whenever I go to launch iTunes, it launches, but then shuts down within two seconds. I have tried reinstalling iTunes, but it continues with this odd habit of launching but then immediately closing.
I recently moved to the United Kingdom for a semester of school and am unable to contact Apple Tech Support. Does anyone have any advice as to how to fix this problem?

There is a problem with launching iPhoto.

Every time I try to launch it crashes and says "You can't open the application iPhoto because it may be damaged or incomplete". I don't know how to resolve this issue If you can help. Thanks

Reinstall it.
To re-install iPhoto
1. Put the iPhoto.app in the trash (Drag it from your Applications Folder to the trash)
2. Download it from the App Store to reinstall It's on your Purchases List* there.
For older versions that have been installed from Disk you'll need these additional steps:
2a: On 10.5: Go to HD/Library/Receipts and remove any pkg file there with iPhoto in the name.
2b: On 10.6: Those receipts may be found as follows: In the Finder use the Go menu and select Go To Folder. In the resulting window type
/var/db/receipts/
2c: on 10.7 or later they're at
/private/var/db/receipts
A Finder Window will open at that location and you can remove the iPhoto pkg files.
3. Re-install.
If you purchased an iLife Disk, then iPhoto is on it.
If iPhoto was installed on your Mac when you go it then it’s on the System Restore disks that came with your Mac. Insert the first one and opt to ‘Install Bundled Applications Only.
*Sometimes iPhoto is not visible on the Purchases List. it may be hidden. See this article for details on how to unhide it.

iPhoto the application and the iPhoto Library are two different parts of the iPhoto programme. So, reinstalling the app should not affect the Library. BUT you should always have a back up before doing this kind of work. Always.

Problem with launching

Im having trouble launching my photoshop. When I go to open it it gives me this message.
"Could not intialize photoshop because the perference file was invalid (it has been deleted)"
How do I fix this

Try resetting the Photoshop preference file: Press and hold Ctrl+Alt+Shift (Win) or Cmd+Opt+Shift (Mac) as (not before) you initiate Photoshop's startup. Select "yes" when asked if you would like to continue with reset.
