  • Problem with installing Solution Center for a HP Photosmart Premium All-in-One Printer - C309g

    Hi folks,
I've searched many threads and found some directions to remedy this, tried them and have had no luck.
I'm running Windows 7.  All updates are current.  When I bought the printer I installed the software (on Windows 7 OS) from the disc and everything was fine.  Fast forward a year and Solution Center stopped working.
Uninstalled all HP software to reinstall.  I was only able to reinstall HP Update.  I was able to load the basic drivers for print and scan, but not the entire software suite including Solution Center.  The installation stops abruptly after "installing updates".
I even downloaded and tried "PS_AIO_06_C309g-m_USW_Full_Win_enu_140_175" and got the same result as the original installation disc.
What can I do with my printer (HP Photosmart Premium All-in-One Printer - C309g)???
    Thanks,
    Alex

  • Lenovo Solution Center says Windows Update needed Windows 10

Thanks for your help, I have the Lenovo B50-30 AIO and recently upgraded from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10. Everything seemed to go flawlessly with the exception of one small problem. I am constantly being nagged by the Lenovo Solution Center to Update my Operating System. When I run Windows update, it says 'No Available Updates', yet LSC still nags me with that screen. When I go into LSC and click on the Launch button to fix the problem, nothing happens. Is this a problem with LSC or is there something that I am doing wrong?

    All,
I've shared this conversation with our LSC development team and here is how I understand the siutation...
LSC 2.8 was tested with Windows 10, but this situation occurs because Windows 10 does not fill in the update date after the OS install.   After 1 day, and the date changes, the symptoms should go away.
We are working on improving this in the next version fo LSC 3.1 which is a few weeks away...
    Edit:
Speedwell, I've also noted the launch button issues with the team to re-test and make sure works properly.
Update 8/5/15 - confirmed launch button issue on 2.8.5 and lower.  This is going to be addressed in a new version.
An interrim support tip is being released on our support site to explain the work around:
    1) Navigate to taskbar
    2) Type "Windows update" in teh search the web and windows field
    3) Select "Check for Updates" at the top of the search results
    4) The Windows update will appear
    5) Select check for updates button
Apologies that this did not work as intended, and I appreciate your patience as we release an updated version.
    Best regards,
    Mark

  • Officejet 6500 e710n Solution Center for Windows 8.1

I originally purchased my Officejet 6500 E710n and loaded it on my Windows XP computer, no problems.  I recently purchased a new Windows 8.1 computer and wanted to use the above mentioned printer with it.  First I tried to install it on my new 8.1 PC with the setup CD that came with the Officejet 6500.  Install CD setup told me it doesn't support my new 8.1 PC.  Then went to HP downloads and downloaded latest driver software with Ful Features that supports Windows 8.1.  Software downloaded and installed on new 8.1 PC.  However, I can only see the Full Featured Solution Center the very first tisme I open up the printer.  The very first time I open it, it gives me all Full Feature options.  Then after I close the printer and open it a second time, all I have is the Basic Print Feature with no Solution Center and no Full Features.  The only way I can get it back up is to uninstall and reinstall driver, but it only works the very first time I open up the printer.
I'm not very computer literate, but I don't understand why it works right only the first time.  I could sure use some input on solutions for this issue.  Hopefully if there is a solution it's simple for me to fix.
    Thanks.

As listed in my previous post, please clarify what behavior you experience once clicking the HP Officejet 6500 E710 icon to open the Printer Assistant.
Would you see any specific screen, any specific behavior or any specific error message?
May you see no responce at all once cliking the icon?
Please clarify accordingly, in order to resolve an issue it will help knowing its sympthoms..

  • Having a problem with HP Solution Center seeing my hp6940 printer

So here's the environment, windows XP, ip address 192.168.50.2, hp 6940 at 10.9.26.100.  These two networks are connected by a router.  I can ping the printer, I can browse to the printer address and see the printer web pages.  If I bring up HP Solution Center, version 60.0.114.000, it reports when accessing the status "hp deskjet Disconnected!"  and if I check ink levels the HP 6940 Toolbox reports "The computer is unable to establish two-way communication with the device"  Windows XP can print to the printer.  What mechanisms are being used by the Solution Center to try to communicate with the printer?

    Hello w74me ,
    Welcome to the HP Forums.
I see that you are having an issue with the Solution Center.
Try running the HP Print and Scan Doctor.
If the Doctor fails, please let me know where it failed and error codes you may see.

  • HP solution center for window vista 32 bit and HP 6210

need to download Solution Center for HP office jet 6210 and Windows vista 32 bit. Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi mary1929,
HP Solution Center is the main software program that you use to control and maintain HP printers that use version 13 and 14 software. Your printer uses a version of software that came before version 13 and 14. I believe you have something called HP Director. HP introduced HP Solution Center to replace HP Director in 2004.
I did find a document that says you may be able to install software for Vista that includes Solution Center. Please take a look at the information in this document; HP Director and Windows Vista Compatibility. If you recently upgraded to Windows Vista, you will not be able to use HP Director. However, you might be able to upgrade to HP Solution Center in its place.
This might be the software you need; File name: AIO_CDB_Full_Non-Network_enu_NB.exe
I hope this helps. If this does resolve the issue please let me know, if you have any additional questions, don't hesitate to ask.

Hello there! Welcome to the forums @dstef1605 ,
I have some suggestions in mind for the issue you're having with installing your printer on Windows 7. However, I would first need to know which printer you have.
Please let me know the printer model and we will troubleshoot from there!
Also, if you have an all in one, make sure you can make copies from the printer and include the results in your reply.

  • Problems with SAPGUI 7.20 for Windows

In our organization we have newly installed SAP GUI 7.20 for Windows. But the users are getting error message, when they run some of the transactions.
For example if they run the transaction FD10N it give a error message:

The main program was "RCOPCA02 ".

Any clue about why this is happning and how this can be fixed?
    Thanks in advanced!

Have you checked SAP Notes for supported Windows version?  Which version of Windows are you running?  If you completely remove all of the SAP GUI pieces and re-install SAP GUI 7.20, does the problem still occur?    Let's hope for installation error...I don't see any SAP Note specifically for these LOLEA failures with 7.20 version...

  • Problems with reinstalling Office 2010 for windows 7

So, I had Office 2010 installed on my PC. Then for some problems with other programs, I had to format my PC. Then, I opened Microsoft Office 2010 to reinstall it, then I inserted the product key I've written on a sheet, and it gave me error: the product
key doesn't exist. So I tried using WindowsKeyFinder, which found another product key - that one didn't work neither. What might the problems be? Thanks for anyone who will answer this question.

    Hi,
Please first make sure whether you've inserted the correct product key. For how to find your Product Key for Office 2010, please refer to this article:
    https://support.office.com/en-ca/article/Find-your-Product-Key-for-Office-2010-1e8ef39c-2bd4-4581-a0ae-5cf25ebed489
Also, have you ever made changes to your hardware? If your hardware is substantially different, then it will be considered as a new computer. If this is the case, you might need to
activate your Office 2010 via telephone.
If issue persists, I would suggest you contact Microsoft Custom Service directly for further assistance:

  • Problem with Updated Webcam Software for Windows 7 (I AM NOT USING THE BETA VERSION OF WINDOWS 7)

I have a dv5-1235dx.  HP posted new software for Win 7 (64) built in camera software.  The install seemed to go fine, but once you click to run the software, nothing happens, so it seems.  About a minute or so later, the application opens.  Why is it taking so long to open.  I have uninstalled/reinstalled multiple times and the problem still exist.  I have tried to go back to the old vista version of the software (running in cap mode), but now that software takes a long time to load.  I have done a restore, with no affect.  What happened?  Note:  I am using the full retail version, not a beta of Win 7 Ultimate.  None of the other Updated HP software has this problem.  HP won't help because Windows is not officially released yet.

I developed a VB6 application that uses the quicktime function "CreateNewVideoFromImages". It worked perfectly for a long time, till the end of january, when QT 7.4 has been updated. Since that update, the called function makes the video with just 1 frame, although no errors are reported. I was getting crazy (same problem on two computers). Now I downgraded to an older version (7.1.3) and the application is working perfectly.
    Any suggestion/known reason?
