  • Problem with packed data type variable?

    Hi all,
I have a problem while doing calculations with packed data type variables . As they are saving in the format '0,00'. so unable to do calulations because of ',' .
To convert these fields into str and replacing ',' with '.' is very time consuming because i have many packed data type variables.
Can you please provide any other alternative for over coming this problem? Is there any option while defining these variables?
    Thanks,
    Vamshi.

    Hi VAMSHI KRISHNA,
First check out SU01 Tcode (if u don't have permission then u can ask BASIS to do it)
    Enter User Name
    Execute
    Goto Defaults Tab
Check Out Decimal Notation here... set it 1,234,567.89
    SAVE it
Log Off once and again login with the same user id and check the result...

  • Serious problem with pack cs5

    hi!
i bought yesterday the pack standard CS5, a student/teacher version. i installed it without problem. i tried today to use it but i have a really big issue: on photoshop and indesign (probably with illustrator also), i can't open or save a file. the only way to do it on photoshop now is to create a new file and drag directly an image and to save i need to use save for web.....
if someone can help me to correct that....
    Marina

Hmmm... Could that mean that the CF-card not is part of he problem after all?
You did not mention how you are getting the files. Assuming you mean Adobe Photo Downloader with using Bridge to download?
Do you use a separate card reader or are you downloading directly from camera.
    Here is what I use:
Always using a card reader, safer, faster and better then directly from camera with cable.
    Use Photodownloader to:
place them in a central folder that I pointed Downloader to, rename the files with shot date yyyymmdd and sequence number
Convert the CR2 files (raw files) to DNG
back up the originals on a separate HD
Add copyright metadata template to the files.
This has all been set in Advanced panel and needs on click for the whole bunch.
When finished and the files are cached (using always HQ thumbnails) I check some previews to see if they buils. If so the files are correct.
When using this CF card again (I have several) I first use the camera software to format the CF card and have a clear start.
Also check the corrupted thumbnail, point your mouse at it and with right mouse click choose purge cache for selection from the menu to see if this helps.

  • Problem with App-V 5 in Xenapp 6.5 Feature Pack 2 /PVS Server 7.1 Environment

Hi I hope someone can help me. We are pretty desperate right now.
At e customer of mine we are Using App-V 5 SP2 RDS Client together with a Xenapp 6.5 Feature Pack 2 /PVS Server 7.1 Environment.
The Golden Image for PVS gets built with SCCM 2007. We “Install” the App-V Packages local with Powershell with e Install Wrapper.
The Wrapper uses for Example the following command to “install” the Package during the Task Sequence.
    Add-AppVClientPackage -Path "C:\_SMSTaskSequence\Packages\I010012B\x86-GE\001\Biella-Dominalprint(V)-2.0.appv" -DynamicDeploymentConfiguration "C:\_SMSTaskSequence\Packages\I010012B\x86-GE\001\Biella-Dominalprint(V)-2.0_DeploymentConfig.xml"
    | Publish-AppvClientPackage -Global | Mount-AppvClientPackage -Verbose >C:\Windows\Logs\Install\Biella-Dominalprint(V)-2.0_001.LOG
The Package was Sequenced with SP1 Sequencer.
The Package contains e SystemX86 folder
    C:\ProgramData\App-V\5D8F5879-923B-4401-BE13-F6E120F6569C\83FF2A00-5D2A-4A3B-82FD-3238D786BEE3\Root\VFS\SystemX86
In This Folder are a few Files. One of them is the tdbg5.ocx
The Package works without a Problem after the Installation of the Server has finished.
But when the Citrix Department does there Magic with PVS and they provision the VHD to another Server the Package is no longer Working. When we start the App we get an Error that it is Missing the tdbg5.ocx
But when I Use ACDC 2.0 to start the App or modify the Shortcut with the command /appvve: 5D8F5879-923B-4401-BE13-F6E120F6569C_83FF2A00-5D2A-4A3B-82FD-3238D786BEE3 it is working. Also when I remove the Package with Powershell from the provisioned Server
and reinstall it again it is working Again.
We have this Problem with two other Apps and both of them have files in the Root\VFS\SystemX86 Folder.
We also have e Virtualized Java Package. We have a Shortcut like this:
    C:\ProgramData\App-V\1A971C0F-1C0F-430F-A2E2-2DF8487E6FF0\80A50994-7B30-4FC3-9DA4-1CE8B979B337\Root\VFS\ProgramFilesX86\Java\jre1.6.0.38\bin\javaws.exe
    http://whatever.ch/zpv/webstart/zpv-prod.jnlp
If I start that link on the provisioned Sever Java Launches but it’s not downloading the App to the Cache. But also here it works perfect after the installation with SCCM, and it also works when I remove the package on the provisioned Sever and “install”
it again with Powershell. But here the /appvve workaround doesn’t work.
I know that we should ask that in the Citrix forums, the Citrix department of the Customer is opening a Case with Citrix and one with MS Support.  But we are I a big hurry because the customer needs to start testing the Apps, because they need to start
the pilot Test very soon. So I hoped that someone in the community can help me out with this.
    Thank you for your answers
    Pascal

Another alternative, if  you dont want to use the Shared Content Store, is to have your PackageInstallationRoot pointing to a non-provisioned disk (non-PVS).  In our environment we had the same exact issue.  Each of our Citrix servers have
a D drive thats non-provisioned that we use for Logs.  Once I pointed the PackageInstallationRoot over to this location everything started working.   The key here is to have a script run at server startup that deletes the PackageInstallationRoot
since the provisioned non-persistent disk will reboot to a fresh image each time.   This way you wont end up with stale content out there as applications are updated and/or removed.
There are other things that also have to happen for this to work in these types of environments (related to roaming profile exclusions) that I can provide to you if you need them.
Let me know if you want/need more details.

  • Problems with root_archive unpack / pack

    Hi folks,
I am trying to build a bootable CD ROM based on the 10/08 release of Solaris 10.
Having mounted the Solaris DVD as an hsfs filesystem I have cpio'ed the files I think I need to a writable directory on my hard disk
    (directory -- /export/home/my_cd/new_iso)
If I now make no changes to anything & create an ISO using mkisofs...
    # cd /export/home/my_cd
    # cp new_iso/boot/hsfs.bootblock .
    # mkisofs -r -omit-period -allow-leading-dots -full-iso9660-filenames -d -sparc-boot ... -G ./hsfs.bootblock -o my_boot_cd.iso -volid BOOT_CD ./new_iso
... then everything works OK. The result is a CD that boots and runs up to the language selection stage of the installation process.
However if I use root_archive to unpack / pack the miniroot...
    # cd /export/home/my_cd
    # cp -p new_iso/boot/sparc.miniroot ./miniroot/sparc.miniroot
    # cd miniroot
    # /boot/solaris/bin/root_archive unpack ./sparc.miniroot ./unpacked
    # /boot/solaris/bin/root_archive pack ./sparc.miniroot ./unpacked
Even though I have made no changes to the unpacked files the new miniroot is a different size to the original.
    (Original size 186777600 bytes
    New size 185548800 bytes)
If I now copy the newly created miniroot to the directory cpio'ed from DVD and build the ISO again...
    # cd /export/home/my_cd
    # cp -p miniroot/sparc.miniroot new_iso/boot/sparc.miniroot
    # cp new_iso/boot/hsfs.bootblock .
    # mkisofs -r -omit-period -allow-leading-dots -full-iso9660-filenames -d -sparc-boot ... -G ./hsfs.bootblock -o my_boot_cd.iso -volid BOOT_CD ./new_iso
... this time the CD boots but panics shortly after displaying the Release / Copyright / Licence banner
Anyone out ther have any suggestions as to why this might be failing.
The system is an Ultra 10 running Solaris 10 10/08
    Many thanks
    Kevin

    Hi there,
the FACT attribute can be reviewed in system table SYSDD.TABLES.
The BWTABLES table has been abandoned with 7.6 - it's just not there anymore.
If you've got problem with the performance, you may want to check [SDN WIKI|http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/x/hx0B] or open a support message for that.

  • Crystal 11 - Latest Service Pack loaded - problem with Kyocera printer

    Post Author: sorrock
    CA Forum: Integrated Solutions
    Hi
We are using Crystal 11 Report Writer, and Sage ACCPAC.  Since Upgrading our ACCPAC all the crystal reports that ACCPAC utilises are coming up as garbage on the preview screen.  I have ruled out a sage issue by opening crystal directly and opening the respective report, the garbage still appears, if I change the printer that it is set to then the report appears fine.
The printer is a Kyocera  -  fs-c8026n   the driver is a Kyocera Mita extended Driver.
Any other printer is fine - so I am looking for anyone who has had problems with a Kyocera printing garbage.
I have loaded the latest service pack for Crystal.
Can anyone please help - apologies if I have put this on the incorrect forum
    Thanks
    Stacey

    Hi Jim,
You can upgrade to CR XI R2 for free by downlaoding the trial version, install using your XI keycode and then getting a keycode for XI R2 to enable all features.
Or to upgrade XI only then install the latest service pack will bring you up to date.
    Thank you

  • Problems with BW-Feature Pack

    Hi experts,
we set up a ERP on MaxDB 7.6.0.6 and use this system now only for BI. The reports necessary to activate feature pack ran, but queries over fact tables are very slow.
During the search for the reasons I found the notes 976930 and 901377. The system table DOMAIN.BWTABLES does not exits and the table DOMAIN:TABLES does not contain a property/column which shows that a table is a fact table.
    DOMAIN.TABLES is described as follows:
    SCHEMANAME;OWNER;TABLENAME;PRIVILEGES;TYPE;TABLETYPE;CREATEDATE;CREATETIME;UPDSTATDATE;UPDSTATTIME;ALTERDATE;ALTERTIME;UNLOADED;SAMPLE_PERCENT;SAMPLE_ROWS;COMMENT;TABLEID;DYNAMIC;ARCHIVE;VARIABLE_COLUMNS;VIRTUALKEY;
    SAPKBI;SAPKBI;/BI0/F0FC_C07;SELUPDDELINSREFINDALT+;TABLE;TABLE;2010-02-10;15:00:21;2010-02-10;15:00:21;2011-04-27;10:30:37;NO;?;20000;?;000000000002C4FD;NO;NO;YES;NO
Is there somebody who has the possibilty to campare this table with "real" BI system?
    Thanks in advanced.

  • Problem with S60 2nd Edition FP2 and mobility pack

When i run the sample game from mobility pack with the S60 2nd Edition FP2 the bottom part of the phone display seems to freeze and wont refresh. I have that problem with the emulator and with a real phone (6630). Does anyone experienced the same problem? I tried with other platform SDK and it runs ok. There's a screenshot of what happens.....
    http://img297.imageshack.us/img297/9373/s602ndfp2le5.png

And I must add something else, I can't format the memory card, I have some important applications installed on the memory card... and I don't know how I can move them to phone's memory, a new memory card or take backup...
I appreciate if someone help me with both problems.

  • Packing instructions - problem with external number range

    Hi Gurus:
I have a problem with configuring packing instructions. I have created a number range entry with external numbering (tx. OPIN), but when I want to create a new packing instruction in POP1, I get an error message: Manually-entered packing instruction ID cannot be checked (Message no. VHU01116). Can you please tell me how to avoid this error message?
The system works fine if the number range is set to internal. As a matter of fact, initially I did create a setting with internal numbering and conducted a couple of tests, but I had to change the "external" flag in the number range to meet business requirements. Is it possible that somehow the system does not recognize that I have changed the flag and I need to run some generation program or something similar?
    I appreciate your valuable input
    Tamas

    For further records:
we have found the problem after debugging the function. In order for the system to accept the external number range, a second number range object with ID 02 must be maintained in OPIN. Then you can use this number range as external and keep the first as internal.

  • Linked Folder Problem with Oracle Enterprise Pack for Eclipse

I need to migrate an Eclipse/Tomcat dynamic web project to Oracle Enterprise Pack for Eclipse/WebLogic.
The Eclipse/Tomcat shares JavaScript files with other projects by using an linked folder /JS under WebContent. It works fine. But the migrated version in Oracle Enterprise Pack for Eclipse shows warning: "Resouce WebContent/WEB-INF/JS/Common.js not found." (Common.js is a JavaScript file in the folder /JS). The linked folder is under WebContent, not WebContent/WEB-INF. For some unknown reason, the mapping is not correct. I deleted and re-created the linked folder, it was still the same. I then delete the lined folder and created a real folder and copied the files into under WebContent/JS folder, it solved the problem.
I want to use linked folder because I do not want to maintain multiple copies of the same set of files. Please help to solve this mapping problem with linked folders.
    Thank you,
    Jerry

Thanks -- I tried Kosta's suggestion (which I had tried before) but still the same error.
I realized that on my development install (the rest of my team has a year+ old install) that I installed weblogic 12c version 12.1.3 (they have weblogic 12c 12.1.1).  12.1.3 requires jdk 1.8, correct?  I started eclipse w/ jdk 1.8 & no more error.  I added jdk 1.7 (jdk 1.7.0_45) as the default Java compiler in my Eclipse STS (sts 3.6.4; luna 4.4.2).
When I added a weblogic server instance to eclipse, 12.1.3 would not accept the jdk 1 compiler - it needed java 1.8.  So ... I specified that.
I haven't tried it yet but -- is it ok to compile the code w/ jdk 1.7.0_45 and deploy it to weblogic 12.1.3 that uses jdk 1.8.0_40?
    Thanks,
    Bill

  • Problem with logic pro 7 & jam pack

    Hello,
first sorry me for my english....but I need help
I'v a big problem with my jam pack.
    1/
when I want to hear some loop with the navigator loop, the sound is deformed like with a tremolo and a reverb...
when I take a midi loop and I put it on my arrangement the sounds is ok
It makes the research of loop very difficult(it does'nt sound right).
    2/
I've the same problem in the navigator loop with the audio loop.
But when I put it in my arrangement the sound isn't ok (deformed, tremolo...)
On the other hand the deformation disappears when I put a faster tempo
    (around 100 bpm)
Precision; my arrangement is at 50 bpm
Thank you so much for your help
    g5   Mac OS X (10.4.9)

hi, you are play the loop back too slow.
there's a limit to how far a loop may be slowed down.
apple loops are generally played back via the last audio channel available, whether you are using in your song or not.
check this channel to see if it has effects inserted or is using the bus sends. if so, switch these off to hear your loops properly.

    Hi Mahesh,
This problem what your facing is typical of implementing of support packages.  Mahesh , there is a problem with the import .  What you can do is reimport  the Support Package thru OS level.
    tp import <support patch> <sid> pf=\usr\sap\trans\bin\TP_DOMAIN_ACD.PFL tag=spam -Dclientcascade=yes -Drepeatonerror=8
After You Import Restart the Server by stopping SAP. hope this solves your problem
wish u luck and God bless u.

  • Problem with JFrame and busy/wait Cursor

Hi -- I'm trying to set a JFrame's cursor to be the busy cursor,
for the duration of some operation (usually just a few seconds).
I can get it to work in some situations, but not others.
Timing does seem to be an issue.
There are thousands of posts on the BugParade, but
in general Sun indicates this is not a bug. I just need
    a work-around.
I've written a test program below to demonstrate the problem.
I have the problem on Solaris, running with both J2SE 1.3 and 1.4.
I have not tested on Windows yet.
When you run the following code, three JFrames will be opened,
each with the same 5 buttons. The first "F1" listens to its own
buttons, and works fine. The other two (F2 and F3) listen
    to each other's buttons.
The "BUSY" button simply sets the cursor on its listener
to the busy cursor. The "DONE" button sets it to the
    default cursor. These work fine.
The "SLEEP" button sets the cursor, sleeps for 3 seconds,
and sets it back. This does not work.
The "INVOKE LATER" button does the same thing,
except is uses invokeLater to sleep and set the
cursor back. This also does not work.
The "DELAY" button sleeps for 3 seconds (giving you
time to move the mouse into the other (listerner's)
window, and then it behaves just like the "SLEEP"
    button. This works.
Any ideas would be appreciated, thanks.
