Problem with program working on WF Terminal through SAPConsole

Dear all,
I have some WF Terminals, Terminal server with SAPConsole and Z-transaction. The problem is that this Z-transaction works fine on my computer through SAP GUI. But when I start it on WF Terminal (Barcode scanner) it works only till the moment when the data changes (BAPI calls). It writes "Processing" on the screen and after some time the session terminates. I tried to use BDC call of transaction MB1B instead of BAPI - the same result. Works fine on my computer but "Processing" and terminate on Barcode scanner.
May be I should do some tunes for the barcode terminal or something else?
Please, help me!

Here is the solution I have eventually found :
1- Application of the OSS note 559276 which enables the customizing of the workflow variant (the transaction OBWD becomes here effective)
2- Assignment of the documents types, workflow variants and release approval groups with the transaction OBWD.
Therefore, the document types that are not defined in the transaction OBWD will not require validation (no workflow will be launched).

Five other slower XP-Pro 32 Bit systems though they are older and slower systems do not seem to hang as readily if at all.
It has been very frustrating as the Client-System, SB-Server and Program should work w/o any hitches, but this seems to work fine @ times and then hang randomly.

You can try this, as I have had similar problems with another MS Access .MDB file and slow access before. This fixed my problem for me. On the slow computer, make sure the program is set to see the .mdb file via UNC path, not a mapped drive letter. ex.
USE: \\yourserver\shared\dental\file.mdb
DO NOT: S:\\shared\dental\file.mdb

If it's happening on all the apps that you've downloaded from the App Store, but not the Apple built-in ones, then try downloading any free app from the store (as that appears to reset something) and then re-try them - the free app can then be deleted.
If it's happening on all apps then try closing them all completely and then see if they work when you re-open them : from the home screen (i.e.not with any app 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of each app to close them, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If that doesn't work then you could try a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

The Ask Toolbar is causing that in the Firefox 3.6.13 version. Evidently something in that extension isn't compatible with a Firefox security fix. Disable that extension or un-install it.

AppleWorks has never been available for legal download.
Have you done the usual trouble shooting steps:
Quit AppleWorks
Delete most or all of the Recent Items list.
Remove the Preferences files to the Desktop or to the Trash.
Launch AppleWorks to see if the problems remain.
You'll find Recent Items in:
username > Documents > AppleWorks User Documents > Starting Points > Recent Items
There are several preferences files.
Go to:
username > Library > Preferences
Locate, select and delete the file com.apple.appleworks.plist
Still in the Preferences floder, locate and open the folder AppleWorks.
Select and delete the two Cache files and the Preferences file.
Button Bars is also a preferences file, but may be left where it is IF you have no problems that appear related to the Button Bar, and wish to preserve any changes you've made to the Button Bar.

Airport Extreme Utility problem with Vista (works with XP, MacOS)

Hi,
I just setup a new Airport Extreme network at my house, and most things are working fine. I have wirelessly connected at various points an Airport Express (using WDS), a MacBook Pro (OSX) and an IBM Thinkpad. I have several wired machines as well.
My problem: The wired machine I use to configure and setup everything is a Vista Ultimate machine. Unfortunately, the Airport Utility won't connect to the Airport Extreme (or Airport Express for that matter) from Vista. The utility works fine from XP or OSX, but not from Vista. Note that I'm using this in a wired capacity. The Vista machine is directly connected to the Airport Extreme, while several other machine are connected through a GBit switch.
Any help would be much appreciated? Is this a Vista security problem or an Airport Utility problem with Vista?

It's most likely a security issue with Windows Vista. Vista has the ability to set "compatibility modes" for applications.
Try:
1. right mouse clicking the Airport Utility's .exe file.
2. Click the Compatibility tab. Change the Compatibility mode to Windows XP (Service Pack 2).
3. Now go down to "Privilage Level" and check the "Run this program as an administrator"
Apple never tells you this but you must connect to the Airport Extreme wirelessly. Now run the Airport Utility. You should see it.

Lots of problems with program

I really am having a lot of problems with a program. I got the program to compile but it looks absolutely nothing like it is supposed to look. I have a deadline for tomorrow and sent my teacher an email but the chances of him getting back to me by tomorrow night for a weekend is pretty much slim to none. Anyways I am sending my output and if anyone could give me advice or feedback on why it does not look right if it is something small and if its alot of things go ahead and call me dumb.

Problems with compressed words in emails sent through Outlook in Office for Mac 2011

I have had problems with sending emails through Outlook both when:
1) I copied text from a Word document and pasted into an email.
2) I shared as HTML and sent an email.
The problem I experience is that emails are received with random spaces dropped, such that words get merged together.
I have spoken with Microsoft and have been told that problems with the copy and paste from Word into Outlook is a known issue.
However, I have been told that I should be able to "Share as an HTML" in an email without issue. However, the very same problem exists.
Now I am told that this may be a problem with my documents. However, I have had a colleague use my docs in the same way in Outlook on his PC without a problem. The other possibility I am told is that possibly I have a problem with my OS.
Have others expererienced the same problem?

Is your Outlook window formatted as HTML or text only? A word file has formatted text. If you want to copy only the text from your Word file, you should make a detour over a TextEdit window, or if you have BBEdit like follows:
Copy your Word text, paste it into a TextEdit window - in this window you have to make a command first SHIFT + COMMAND + T if you have a window allowing formatting ("rich text"). Copy it once again - all the Meta formatting from Word are eliminated now! - and paste the text into your Outlook Window.
If you want to send an HMTL Email, I am not sure, whether a copy and paste between Word and Outlook will work. This would mean, that the copy and paste should transform the Word-formatting into HTML-formatting fit for Outlook. Perhaps some others could answer this question.

The latest version of After Effects CC is 12.2.1 - you are missing an update. I would recommend installing the latest version.

This error message only really matters if you use the ray-traced renderer. Do you use it? Most people do not use it anymore. I game online and have problems with games working after updating firefox. I use an older version but am concerned about security. Two questions: can I be sure that Firefox 4 will work on my system (vista) and where do I save the file at?

I have had a problem with the compatibility of Firefox running with the games I play online. I don't want to attempt an upgrade again, only to have to turn around and degrade so my activities can work. Furthermore, I'm not sure where to save the Firefox file in my system, since for some reason it doesn't take me right to where it should save.

Problem with Program RSEOUT00

Hi,
Im executing RSEOUT00 to process all outbound idocs with status 30. The problem is if I only have one idoc to be processed, the status remains 30 while if I have for example 5 outbound idocs, all idocs EXCEPT the last are processed. Processed Idocs would have status 03.
How come this report does not process the last IDOC? Is this a problem with selection parameters?

What selection parameters you have given on screen?
You can give idoc number or time of change or msg type or execute in background setting some variants...
There is no chance to leave the last idoc unprocessed.
Try to execute once again.
There might b a chance, when you execute the program,last idoc might not be created.

Huge problems with Programs crashing on quit!!

Is anyone else having an issue with programs like Logic Pro 8, Firefox and other widely used programs that crash when you do a command-q to quit?
Mine does this all the time. I have re-installed Snow Leopard 3 times now. I have re-installed all my programs I use fresh as well, yet almost every program I close locks up the machine or just sits there and does nothing at all.
I am beginning to think I have a hardware issue on my new iMac.

did you do an erase and install or did you install snow leopard on top of your current install? if the latter make a new user account and log into it. do you have the same problem there? if you did do an erase and install then it may be hardware related as you suspect.

Problem with ejecution work book (determining run time)

Hello, I have a problem with the Discoverer Desktop (v. 10.1.2.1) db. Oracle 10G.
Whenever I execute a work book with my user in any equipment of the network
when determining the run time of the report is delayed , only with my user and
the privileges of the reports and tables is ok.

It sounds like the problem with the query estimator. Basically, the query estimator IMO should be turned off for Discoverer as it's not Disco's best feature. As to why only you see it, are you sure it's not only when run on your PC?

or at the bottom of this message I've copied it, you'll see #1 is the first thing you want to change.
You may not want to change #2 or #3 but take a look. Also, where the instructions refer to: Disco 3.1 just change to your version (ie: 10). Gotta' update that someday.

3 REGISTRY SETTINGS TO CHANGE

Note that for each of the three suggestions below, if the entry does not exist in your registry, then create it and set the value suggested.
1. Database\QPPEnable
type - DWORD, default 1
To Do: Turn off query prediction.
This can be done by specifying the following registry key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Oracle\Discoverer 3.1\Database\QPPEnable
It should be set to a DWORD value of 0 (zero). To re-enable query prediction at some later point in time, either remove the registry key or set it to 1.
2. Database\QPPCBOEnforced
type - DWORD, default 1
To Do: Stop query prediction forcing the use of the cost-based optimizer.
This can be done by specifying the following registry key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Oracle\Discoverer 3.1\Database\QPPCBOEnforced
It should be set to a DWORD value of 0 (zero) which means use of the Cost-based Optimizer (CBO) is not enforced. The CBO will follow the normal rules of the database server.
3. Database\ObjectsAlwaysAccessible
type - DWORD, default 0
To Do: Stop validating that the tables/views folders refer to exist and that the user has access to them.
This can be done by specifying the following registry key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Oracle\Discoverer3.1\Database\ObjectsAlwaysAccessible
It should be set to a DWORD value > 0 (ie: 1) which means validation will not take place.
