Problem with serial number and installing PSE 12

I purchased Adobe PSE 12 yesterday and the purchase went through. But I never received a confoirmation email from Adobe. Now, when I try to enter the serial number to install, I'm told there is a problem with the serial number and I must contact customer support. Can't get through to customer support though. What should I do? I desperately need to get this program installed. Thanks.

Exactly what happens? Do you get any kind of message? Are you sure it's the serial number (should start with 1057)?

Problem with serial number on second install

I bought and downloaded CS4 upgrade. The first install on my desktop went fine. When trying to install the second on my laptop, the serial number box turns up a red x immediately upon typing it. I have verified my serial number and re-typed it numerous times. I did an on-line chat and after a half hour wait was told they couldn't help me. Gave me two phone numbers to call for licensing problem, both long distance. I called both numbers and got fax machines both times. This is frustrating, thus my screen name.....frustrated Brooks. Can anyone help?

Technically you are only allowed 2 installs on your machine, which includes all versions. If you have CS3 on the computer then you are at capacity and the system may know this. This is a grey area but there was a thread on in today.

suddenly my acrobat pro doesnt accept my serial number any more. Some people had the same problem before.

I own CS2, CS3 Web Premium and Design Premium and CS4 Design Premium. After not having opened Acrobat 8.0 or 9.0 in some time, when I opened 9.0 today it asked for a serial. I looked up my serial and entered it only to be told that it was an invalid serial. Needing to use Acrobat immediately, I then opened 8.0 and the same thing happened. so I called support and spoke with someone in India (of course) who, after a half hour had no explanation for the problem and no solution other than to re-install my apps, which I do not happen to have with me on the road. He did check the validity of my Adobe accounts and the serial numbers, but to no avail. I was out of time, so I had to revert to using Acrobat 7.0.
What's going on here? Has anybody else been experiencing similar problems recently?

Damn, nobody replied to you and your problem. I have the same here: Acrobat Pro is updated automatically but now it cannot start up as it asks for a serial number and my CS4 number doesn;t work. It seems it isn't linked with the CS4 serial number or so.
ADOBE please help us out!!!

Problem with Serial Number when I tried to do the UD

Dear Colleagues,
I need your help with the issue below:
I have one material that Serial Number profile was not configured. The GR was done for 3 pcs, these material is to do the UD, but before to completed the process (UD) the material was changed and the Serial Number profile was set.
More 27 pcs were receiced, and for these pcs the Serial Number as created in the Material Document.
The user was not able to do the UD, and I requested him to use the t-code MBST to cancel the Material documents, but is not able to do this process for the Material Document that doesn't have the Serial Number (This is the fisrt Material document regarding that 3 pcs).
Now I have these 3 pcs for to make the UD and I'm not able, because I have an Error inform that I need to have the Serial Number, and I'm not able to cancel the Material document as well.
I want to know if we have some SAP Note, or one procedure that I can use to resolve this problem.

Problem with serial Number in Inspection Lot

Dear All,
I have a typical problem that material is there in quality inspection lot and serial numbers are aslo assigned during 101 mvt. but when I am posting it to unrestricted stock system is not determine serial number and giving an error
*Stock data of serial number XXXXXX not suitable for movement
Message no. IO231*
All configuration setting are also OK as this problem comes for the first time and previously we were able to clear inspection lots of that material easily with serial number.
Any Idea to rectify that problem?

Check with your serializing Procedure check the assignment in Work scheduling View for this material also check in Quality view
for inspection type 4 for GR of Production order.

Invalid Redemption code after problems with serial number.

I have been somehow kicked off with two chats today in dealing with this problem. I have brand new Lightroom software that was given to me as a gift. I inserted the disc and downloaded it to my computer, went to retrieve my serial number and that is when the problem started. I entered my redemption code, got my serial number, clicked the "download" option, an error window popped up saying "the webpage couldn't be loaded at this time" and when I went back to get the serial number (hit back arrow), it was gone. This has now resulted in an invalid redemption code. Help!! How can I use my software, obtain my serial number or obtain a new serial number?

Problem with serial number while reinstalling CS6 Design Standard on new computer

I have a new Computer (Windows 8) and am now trying to install my Adobe Design Standard CS 6.
I bought that suite and installed it sucessfully on my old computer in Jan 13 as an Upgrade to Adobe Design Standard CS 5.5 (which was also an Upgrade Version from another Adobe Product).
When beginning the installation on my new computer today , I was asked for my serial number. The serial number for my Adobe Design Standard CS6 was accepted, however, that is only an Upgrade Version.
As the Product I'm upgrading from I chose the option Adobe Design Standard CS5.5 and gave my serial number for that product.
Then I got the message: 'Diese Seriennummer gilt nicht für ein kompatibles Produkt. Geben Sie eine andere Seriennummer ein', which means translated: This serial number is not valid for a compatible Produkt. Give another serial number.
I don't know why my Adobe Design Standard CS6 should not be compatible to my Adobe Design Standard CS 5.5 and I don't have another serial number.
Could you help me with this problem?

Problem with serial number when in stalling second disc

I am installing Adobe Photoshop Elements 10. The first disc installed fine. Then the computer restarted and I inserted the second disc. But this time when I put the same serial number in as I did before with the first disc, it tells me that it is incorrect. Please help me!

What is in the second disk? Is it Adobe Premiere Elements? If it is then it must have come with its own serial number. Look on the disk sleeve if there is anything on a orange label.
To ryn Adobe Photoshop elements, you only need one disk. I don't know what package have you bought or did you buy about a year ago because some PSE came with Windows and MAC disks in one box while some people buy a special package that comes with PSE and Photoshop Elements.
I hope this message will make you look further in the box to see if there is anything else in it.

I have installed Photoshop CS 6 on my new PC, I have a Serial number but got the answer that it is wrong ( I have checked With My Adobe and it is OK). I have also tried the Serial numbers for CS 5 and CS 4 but With the same results. What to do??

Problem with Serial Number (me=idiot)

I am one of the stupid who bought a Master Collection on eBay (looked pretty good).
I installed it and it worked for a while. (I later found out from a "techie" friend that it changed something called a host file.
Anyway, I got a virus that also changed (deleted all but it's own number) the host file and it killed the bad eBay version.
I went and bought one (at a legit shop), but it keeps thinking I have the old serial number(s) for the Master. I tried uninstalling and then using the CS5 Cleaner program I was directed to, then reinstall the new (good) one, but it didn't help. Anything I can do? Where is the bad serial kept so I can manually delete it?

Problem with serial number reinstalling Acrobat

I purchased CS6 a few month ago, including Photoshop, Acrobat etc., which used to work fine. A few days ago, I had to reinstall Acrobat (starting with my CD Rom). Since then, Photoshop etc. work normally, but Acrobat keeps on asking me for my serial number, but does not take it when I give it (it says it is not valid for this product). What shoud I do?

Which Suite did you purchase? In general Acrobat will be licensed by one of the other installed CS6 point products. If this license is not being applied then I would recommend the following steps:
Open Photoshop or another Adobe Creative point product
Go to Help>Deactivate
Close the application
Reopen the application and choose License this Software
Enter your Adobe ID and serial number
This should then reapply the license for your suite and allow Acrobat to run without requesting a serial number. This process should have already happened though so if you still face difficulty then you may want to try the same steps in a newly created administrator account.

Problem with serial number Lr2 to Lr4 upgrading

Welcome. I have a problem in LR 4 I use Lr2 upgrade to L4. From time to time my PC lost the serial number of the program. I have to enter the new LR2 and LR4 number losing all presets. After reinstalling Windows 7 is still the problem exists. Is it possible to send me a new LR4 for installations already without error?

Your presets should not be lost even if you have to re-license LR4 with 2 serial numbers. Something else must be resetting things on your computer. Are you using System Restore?
Make a backup of your critical LR files elsewhere on your computer and if they are reset or lost, restore from that backup.

Hi I've to reinstall lightroom on my computer. I bought a version of lightroom last year, but now I can't find the executable on my computer, i followed the suggestion of a chat helpline on the site that gave me the link of the trial version and che serial to get the full version. That serial is the same serial i had in the first, now I'm tryng to fit this serial but the program says (translating in english) "the serial number is not valid" has someboy a suggestion to fix this problem!? Which version of Lightroom did you buy last year?
I assume your new download is 5.6 so you'll need to have a serial number for 5.x.
If your serial number was for an earlier version you'll need to upgrade or download a new copy of the version to which you do have a licence.
If your licence is for 5.x then it's possible you've been sent a link to the CC version rather than the standalone. If this is the case you'll need to un-install this a download from one of the following links instead.

You don't need a serial number. The problem you're having is due to having the iWork trial installed. You need to delete the trial & then reinstall from the boxed DVD or the Mac App Store. The files to delete are the iWork ’09 folder from the main HD > Applications; the iWork ’09 folder in HD > Library > Application Support & the individual iWork application plist files found in HD > Users > (your account) > Library > Preferences for each user.
Yvan Koenig has written an AppleScript that removes the files. You can find it on his box.com account in for_iWork'09 > other_iWork'09 items > uninstall iWork '09.zip.
