Problem with SOAP receiver

Hello,
Our PI system is 7.4 . We have a lot of interface with related to  proxy to soap.When they are used  very intensively, errors occur in soap receiver .
Types are error:
503 server  not avalibale,
401 unauthorized ,
invalid content type for SOAP:TEXT/HTML  such as...
When system is restarted, mostly it is worked but after while again errors occur and a lot of message is waiting in queue.
what can we do for it?
Thanks in advance,
Nurhan

Hi Claudia,
It is dual stack installation. While calling  soap receiver adapter, error occur. In sxmb_moni  display error  as follows:
After restart, we have new error:
It is abap proxy to soap scenario. It's synchronous communication.
Thanks,
Nurhan

    Hi Bhavesh,
    It is an Async call where method does not return anything.
    I added entries in IDX_NOALE but still it is setting the message status to WAIT and does retry.

  • Problem with SOAP receiver adapter? Please help!

    Hi experts
       I have the following scenario:
       SAP R/3 -ABAP Proxy>XI--->SOAP --webservice
       As you can see, I am sending data from R/3 system to XI via ABAP proxy. XI then sends data or calls a webservice via SOAP adapter.
    When I test this scenario I am getting a error in the sxmb_moni that is,
    "com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.DeliveryException: TEXT/HTML; HTTP 504 Gateway Time-out"
    I have checked the webservice url and it is working fine.
    Can somebody tell me why am I getting this error message? How do I resolve this?
    Thanks
    Gopal

    Hi,
    Can you please check the  settings in Soap Adapter with Module Adapter setting with ModuleTranformBean parameters? There may be some problem. use HTTP Adapter and the message type 'HttpPostIn' to send as HTTP Post.
    Also
    There is the note 450226 gives an overview over error codes
    Probably below solution may help you.........
    As an administrator on your portal go to:
    System Configuration > Service Configuration >applications
    Under: com.sap.portal.ivs.httpservice > Services > Proxy
    If any proxy settings are configured you may end up with the problem, so you need to set the "nonProxyHosts" to include the trex host.

  • Another problem with SOAP sender

    I have another problem with SOAP scenario in a different environment (PI 7.0) from my earlier post.
    Scenario:
    Soap Sender -> PI -> Soap Receiver
    Following steps from GoogleSearch SOAP scenario in the SAP How-to Guide for SAP NetWeaver '04 entitled: "How To... Use the XI 3.0 SOAP Adapter" version 1.00 - March 2006.
    I have loaded in the api.google.com/GoogleSearch.wsdl file as an External definition and created the SOAP receiver as described in the How-to guide.  It takes a doGoogleSearch as input and sends back a doGoogleSearchResponse (Sync Call).
    Note that the GoogleSearch.wsdl contains a complex type ResultElementArray that refers to ResultElement\[\], and a DirectoryCategoryArray that refers to DirectoryCategory\[\].  The ResultElement and DirectoryCategory types are defined in the GoogleSearch.wsdl file.
    Problem One:
    The generated WSDL for the SOAP sender contains the ResultElementArray and DirectoryCategoryArray types but it DOES NOT contain the required ResultElement and DirectoryCategory types.  XML Spy complains that this WSDL is not valid because the type ResultElement\[\] is not defined.
    Problem Two:
    I generate a SOAP message in XML Spy, provide values for the doGoogleSearch fields, and send.  In SXMB_MONI, the SOAP sender payload contains only the <key> value from the doGoogleSearch message body, i.e. <part name="key" type="xsd:string" />
    The other doGoogleSearch fields seem to be missing, i.e.
      <part name="q" type="xsd:string" />
      <part name="start" type="xsd:int" />
      <part name="maxResults" type="xsd:int" />

      <part name="lr" type="xsd:string" />
      <part name="ie" type="xsd:string" />
      <part name="oe" type="xsd:string" />
    Does anyone know why:
    (1) PI/XI seems to leave out the ResultElement and DirectoryCategory types from the SOAP sender service WSDL file?
    (2) The doGoogleSearch message seen in SXMB_MONI contains only the first <key> field, and not the other fields?

  • Problems with sending/receiving picture messages

    Does anyone know how to sort problems with sending/receiving picture messages on the iphone 4S?  I've gone through all the re-setting etc at the place I bought it and it still doesn't work!! Spoken to 02 and they said it's an issue with Apple software?? Any help appreciated.

    Can you send/receive SMS's? If so, and you can't send/receive MMS's, and MMS is turned on in Settings, 99.9% of the time the problem is on your carrier's end...most likely MMS is not provisioned properly on your account, regardless of what your carrier is telling you. Call back & have them remove MMS from your account & then re-provision your account for MMS.

  • Newline problem with soap

    I'm having these weird problems with newlines. I'm sending \n in a message because I have a multi lined message i want parsed. Axis is receiving the message and throwing exceptions. I printed out the line it's parsing and it's giving this error that it can't parse:
    '2.5
    PID'
    The parser is not supposed to parse past the \n but it seems to be trying to. I've tested this without webservices and it works fine, adding webservices into the equation gives me these errors.

    Additional info: The problem is the same in the entire environment here (PI DEV, QAS and PRD) and on another PI machine.
    So I doubt very much if it's cache related.
    Edit: This is the 'application error':

  • Issue with SOAP receiver

    Hi,
    I'm using PI 7.0, SP13 and I'm sending a message to a MS webservice, using BURP as a proxy in between to avoid NTLM authorisation issues.
    The problem is that it's perfecly possible to send a message using soapUI, but sending the exact same message ends up in an error:
    "SOAP: error occured: com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.RecoverableException: invalid content type for SOAP: TEXT/HTML; HTTP 400 Bad Request: java.io.IOException: invalid content type for SOAP: TEXT/HTML; HTTP 400 Bad Request"
    I already configured the MessageTransformBean by setting the ContentType to text/xml; charset=utf-8. Here are the settings of my communication channel:
    Target URL: http://<correct URL on local network>
    User authentication: false
    Certificate authentication: false
    Proxy: BURP proxy and BURP port
    Proxy user authentication: false
    Secutiry profile: false
    Do not use SOAP envelope: false
    Keep headers: false
    Keep attachments: false
    Use encoded headers: false
    Use query string: false
    SOAP action: <correct SOAP action>
    I also played with the parameters "Do not use SOAP envelope", "Keep headers" and "Keep attachments", without any success. The only difference that I can think of is that soapUI runs on Windows, and the PI system runs on Linux.
    Ideas, anyone?

    @Baskar Gopal: I didn't generate a WSDL: I'm using the SOAP receiver to post a message to an existing webservice.
    @sdnuser: the endpoint URL is 100% correct. I also added the MessageTransformBean like I stated before.
    @Chirumamilla Sukarna: HTTP adapter doesn't work because I need the SOAP envelope.
    The payload is in both cases (soapUI and PI) the same. Here's the part that's different:
    soapUI (working part):
    POST /DynamicsNAV/WS/Rendon%20Voorburg/Codeunit/Webservice HTTP/1.0
    Accept-Encoding: gzip,deflate
    Content-Type: text/xml;charset=UTF-8
    SOAPAction: "urn:microsoft-dynamics-schemas/codeunit/Webservice:ContractorOrderInSync"
    User-Agent: Jakarta Commons-HttpClient/3.1
    Host: 192.168.1.8:7049
    Proxy-Connection: Keep-Alive
    Content-Length: 4292
    Connection: Keep-Alive
    SAP PI (not working part):
    POST /DynamicsNAV/WS/Rendon%20Voorburg/Codeunit/Webservice HTTP/1.0
    Accept: /
    Host: 192.168.1.8:7049
    User-Agent: SAP-Messaging-com.sap.aii.messaging/1.0505
    Authorization: Basic aGFhZ3dvbmVuQGJpbTpRYnFyRU84IQ==
    content-id: <soap-C89FD74E68782E13E1000000C0A8E010 @ sap.com>
    Content-Type: text/xml;charset=UTF-8
    Content-Length: 4292
    SOAPACTION: "urn:microsoft-dynamics-schemas/codeunit/Webservice:ContractorOrderInSync"
    Connection: Keep-Alive
    I know the content type looks correct here, but the SOAP adapter gives an error about this nevertheless.

  • WLS 7.0 sp2 - Servlet Problems with SOAP messages

              I'm using Weblogic 7.0 SP2 and trying to create a Servlet to receive SOAP wrapped
              XML messages. I'm getting the following error. Is this a problem with WLS7.0sp2's
              support of JAXM? The System.out.println's indicate I have successfully received
              the incoming SOAP request and then successfully formatted the SOAP response, but
              upon returning saving the response it appears to blow up. Does anyone have any
              suggestions?

              - receive an incoming SOAP request with an embedded XML message
              - perform some processing
              - return a SOAP response with an embedded XML message
              Should I be using JAXM? Or can I do this same task easily with JAX-RPC?

    Michael,
    I got the same error on WLS8.1/Win2K professional and apache FOP (old version).
    After digging into the WLS code and FOP(old version). i found the conflict happens
    on
    the "org.xml.sax.parser" system property. In WLS code, they hard coded like the
    following when startup weblogic server:
    System.setProperty("org.xml.sax.parser", "weblogic.xml.jaxp.RegistryParser");
    But the FOP code try to use the "org.xml.sax.parser" system property to find the
    sax parser then conlict happens.
    Here is the response from BEA support :
    "I consulted with our developers regarding the question of whether we can change
    the hard-coded value for the java system property: org.xml.sax.parser by using
    a configuration parameter and I found that unfortunately there is no specific
    setting to change the value. As you had mentioned in your note the org.xml.sax.parser
    system property can be changed programmatically in your application code."
    I solve my problem by using newer apache FOP (it never use the system property:org.xml.sax.parser
    any more) and XML Registy for WLS8.1.
    Good luck.

    parsing that did not previously exist.
    We get the error "weblogic.xml.jaxp.RegistryParser is not a SAX driver".
    What does this mean? And, what should we do about it.

  • Performance Problem on Soap Receiver Side

    Hi,
    my scenario is: FTP to SOAP (asynchronous) on PI 7.31 SP11.
    The ftp sender is providing a few hundred files at once, unfortunately the processsing at productive environment takes too long, like 15-60 minutes, depending on the number of files.
    What is really strange here, the same scenario is working 100% properly at the test environment! So i did some tests to find out the bottleneck:
    FTP -> PI prod -> SOAP prod - slow
    FTP -> PI test   -> SOAP prod - fast
    FTP -> PI prod -> SOAP test   - fast
    FTP -> PI prod -> NFS prod    - fast
    So if found: Only slow, if i use the productive PI to productive soap receiver.
    The adapter configuration is 100% the same as on test system.
    I watched the slow messages and found:
    First message:
    Normal processing of the steps until "XISOAP: XI message received for processing".
    Then it takes 4 seconds before "SOAP: Processing completed". This happens withing milliseconds on test environment.
    Later messages stay longer and longer in a queue.The processing time is going up to 36 seconds (instead of 4).
    -> Something is stopping / slowing them to be processed. This "stopper" becomes worse if more messages are processed.
    Does anybody have an idea to explain this strange behaviour?
    Regards,
    Udo

    Hi Udo,
    The problem seems to be in the message system queue in the AFW in the production environment. It has sense because the SOAP pro and NFS pro are different adapters, however afaik the SOAP test channel uses the same thread pool that the SOAP pro in PI pro.
    Have you check to increase the number of threads?. You can check the number of them,
    in this URL http://host:port/MessagingSystem/monitor/systemStatus.jsp (System Status):

  • Problem with BPM Receive step

    Hy all,
    I have a strage Problem with a BPM Definition into a receive step. I receive from SAP System IDoc and (per dynamic receive determination) I receive it into BPM.
    But the Block that contains the receive Step can't be executed. I get following error message from XI :
    Error when executing work item '000000177354'
    Error when starting work item 000000177354
    Work item 000000177345: Object FLOWITEM method EXECUTE cannot be executed
    Error when executing work item '000000177354'
    Runtime handle of object type  could not be created
    Exception 'ex_EDIFactOrder_received' caught and transferred to the exception handler
    Error when executing work item '000000177354'
    Could anyone help me please.
    Thank's a lot.
    Mat

    I have following scenario :
    Block 1
    1) Infinite Loop with receive step
    2) exception creation (2 minutes) (parallel to 1))
    3) exception  handler (parallel to 1))
    Block 2
    1) Mapping steps + send Steps + container Operation steps (set of flag)
    2) Exception handler (paralle to 1))
    Block 3
    1) receive steps (where I get the error message)
    I hope it's OK
    Cheers

  • XSLT Problem with soap namespace

    Hi there,
    I have a problem transforming an XML doc with soap elements, using XSLT (Xalan).
    Here's the input:
    <?xml version = "1.0" encoding = "ISO-8859-1"?>
    <soap:Envelope xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" xmlns:soap="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" xmlns="http://www.ean.nl">
      <testthis>123456</testthis>
    </soap:Envelope>and here's the XSL:
    <?xml version="1.0"?>
    <xsl:transform xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform" version="1.0" xmlns:soap="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" exclude-result-prefixes="soap">
    <xsl:output method="xml" indent="yes"/>
    <xsl:template match="soap:Envelope">
    <Orders>
         <H01>
              <xsl:value-of select="testthis"/>
         </H01>
    </Orders>
    </xsl:template>
    </xsl:transform>I expect to get something like:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <Orders>
    <H01>123456<H01>
    <Orders>But instead I get:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <Orders>
    <H01/>
    </Orders>I've tried a lot of things and I'm probably overseeing something stupid, but I'm stuck.
    It seems as if anything without soap: namespace cannot be processed by my XSL (when I add it in the input XML and XSL it works).
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Greetings,
    Erik

    Yes, I found it!
    The following XSL for the same XML doc works!
    <?xml version="1.0"?>
    <xsl:transform xmlns:ean="http://www.ean.nl" xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform" version="1.0" xmlns:soap="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" exclude-result-prefixes="soap">
    <xsl:output method="xml" indent="yes"/>
    <xsl:template match="soap:Envelope">
    <Orders>
         <H01>
              <xsl:value-of select="ean:testthis"/>
         </H01>
    </Orders>
    </xsl:template>
    </xsl:transform>Thanks, you pointed me in the right direction :-)

  • SIGNING problem in soap receiver adapter

    Dear Friends,
    I am sending the file to soap adapter , it reaching to reciever system but I SIGNING is not happening.
    sender side file adapter
    receiver side soap adapter
    sender side ok , reciever side also ok but only the problem is SIGNING.
    receiver side any settings are required.
    Please suggest me how to resolve this issue.
    Regards,
    Shalini Shah

    Hi,
    If you want to sign the message then enable webservice security in receiver communication channel and specify the certficate for signing in the receiver agreement. Certificates need to be created in Visual Admin and corresponding public key should be provided to the partner for validating the signature.
    You need to create a connection type G in SM59 which is required for connecting to J2EE from integration server and you need to specify  this connection in the port which need to be created in tcode lpconfig.

    Prakash

  • Problem with File receiver

    Hi, I have the following scenario, File->XI->File and
    I have a problem with the File adapter (receiver). I can't generate it.
    I was reading blog: File-Xi-File scenario donu00B4t work.
    SXMB_MONI shows the message correctly but the receiver file is not generated.
    Somebody can help me?
    Thanks in advanced
    Regards,
    Sergio.

    Hi Sergio,
    I would suggest that you go through this blog for the entire File to File scenario and cross check this with the cofiguration done by you.

    Also, do check these links for configuring your sender and receiver file adapters.

  • Help, strange problem about SOAP receiver adapter

    Hi XI guru,
    Secnario as following:
    ABAP proxy -> XI -> SOAP receiver
    I am using SOAP receiver to send data to legacy system. It looks good in sxmb_moni, so we go to RWB, I see the following error:
    <b>2007-08-13 13:48:53 Success SOAP: continuing to response message df934151-4960-11dc-a195-0015c5f7cd3b

    2007-08-13 13:48:53 Success SOAP: sending a delivery error ack ...

    2007-08-13 13:48:53 Error Delivery of the message to the application using connection SOAP_http://sap.com/xi/XI/System failed, due to: com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.RecoverableException: SOAP: response message contains an error XIAdapter/PARSING/ADAPTER.SOAP_EXCEPTION - soap fault: java.lang.StringIndexOutOfBoundsException: String index out of range: 0.
    2007-08-13 13:48:53 Success The asynchronous message was successfully scheduled to be delivered at Mon Aug 13 13:53:53 CST 2007.</b>
    So I use XMLSpy to simulate XI to send SOAP request to legacy system, it works fine.In XI, I use WSDL file which legacy system provided to build the mapping, so I think it should be fine. Please comments, thank you for your time.

    Hi
    For receiver webservice you need to configure a receiver soap adapter

    Check out these threads..
    RFC -> XI -> External web service
    How to resolve this RFC_adapter_sender to SOAP_adapter_receiver Exception?
    Why getting "DeliveryExcetion" in SOAP->XI->RFC scenario?
