Problem with SWC libraries

My workspace consists of all projects I am working on. I have one project which is an AS project (library) and it's added to every web project as a SWC library. When I modify a class in AS project and then debug a web project I dont see the changes I just applied meaning that AS project wasn't not compiled. Debugging the web project again (simply hitting F11 again) and now I see the changes. So, how much of frustration an average developer should be going thru seeing that the change he just applied is not helping and he has to look for another solution but wait, the first change was correct, it's the environment that is failing.
Any ideas to try?
Thanks for help.

Hey there,
I managed to duplicate my library when I copied it from my PC notebook to my PC desktop, and then I triplicated it when I went from the PC desktop to the MacBook. I'm not sure how I managed that because I'm relatively sure my hard drive(s) weren't holding multiple copies of the files, but there you are.
What I'd recommend in this situation is essentially clearing your iTunes library and starting over. You can go to your library and click Edit > Select All, followed by Edit > Delete. You'll be asked if you're sure you want to remove the files from the library, so click Remove, and then you'll be asked if you want to move the files to the Recycle Bin or Keep Files. Choose "Keep Files."
Then, click File > Add Folder to Library and add the folder that currently contains your music files.
Hope this is helpful

  • Problems with old Libraries in iPhoto '09 Version 8.0.4

A couple months ago I upgraded to iLife '09 and few days ago I software updated iPhoto to version 8.0.4.
I have numerous iPhoto libraries created with an older version of iPhoto (not sure which) because I have alway found iPhoto to become balky and bog down if the libraries become too large, so every few months I rename the library and move it to an external drive and create a new library in iPhoto. Accessing the libraries was never a problem.
Today I attempted to open one of the older libraries with iPhoto '09, and everything seemed okay after the initial update to the library completed, but now I see that many of the older JPG images will not open to edit or magnify when I double click them. This is true of some but not all JPG images, it does not seem to be a problem with RAW files.
I also can not drag them out of iPhoto onto the desktop or into a folder, and I am unable to export them, either. Also, whereas the older version of iPhoto allowed me to access photos through the library folder, after the library update into '09, that organizational system is gone and there is only a library icon in its place with no access to the files.
So now I have no way to edit, copy, or export many JPG files, and I can not access them in the newly updated/converted library file. Except for viewing them as thumbnails, they are essentially gone.
Any suggestions on how to recover the "lost" JPGs, and any suggestion about what to do with all of my other older libraries?
    Thanks...

    Hmmm,
I installed iPhoto Library Manager and rebuilt the library...
Seems to be okay at first inspection, except that many of the photos are now rotated (appear normal in window, rotated 90-270 degrees when double clicked to edit)...
I also got an error message saying the 229 photos could not be found because the originals could not be located, but everything seems to be here...
    Problem solved...?

  • Forms/Designer 10g - problem with attached libraries

I've problem with forms with attached libraries. All of libraries have removed paths. I can run all forms without any problem on my local application server from Forms Builder 9i or Designer 9i. I added all paths in registry FORMS90_PATH. WORKINGDIRECTORY in formsweb.cfg is blank.
Unfortunately I can't do it with Developer 10g on second workstation. I added all paths in registry FORMS_PATH. WORKINGDIRECTORY in formsweb.cfg is blank too. When form is running I get ORA-06508. I can't store all files (fmb, fmx, pll, plx etc.) in one folder because I've to use CVS. In this case I can't set any folder in WORKINGDIRECTORY.

Assuming Forms 10.1.2.x, FMX, MMX, PLX, and OLB files are found based on the value of FORMS_PATH which is set in default.env and not the Registry. This applies to runtime only. The Builder uses the Registry.
Understand that "runtime" refers to any time a form is displayed in a browser, regardless of whether is was started from the Builder or Application Server.
Also, be aware that if you have FMX, MMX, or PLX files which were created in older versions they must be recompiled using the 10.1.2 compiler.

  • Problems with gtk libraries?

    Hi,
I installed arch and lxde on a Aspire one, but I have some problem with different software. The main example is the image viewer: gpicview crashes when I open an image (for a segmentation fault). So I installed Mirage to see if it's a problem due to only gpicview. I can start Mirage, but when I open an image from the open menu, it says that it can not load the picture and there is a small red "x" in the window right part for the image. So I tried with xzgv: it starts but the right part of the window remains always empty, while I can navigate in folders through the left part of the windows. Feh instead works. I have a similar problem with xsmbrowser: it starts but I can't interact with the buttons and text fields present in the windows.
Gpicview, mirage and xzgv use GTK libraries: may the problem be with these lib? They are installed but maybe something is missing...
May I need gtk-engine? I searched about but I found that it's used for the theme. Or it's necessary for any software based on gtk? But if it's necessary with gpicview (default viewer for lxde) why wouldn't it be already present?
Thanks for your help and attention.

I started the applications through the terminal:
    - mirage: the only message is a deprecation warming for the use of md5 instead of hashlib, but I think nothing important. No message added opening the image. I made a screenshot using mirage (giving a .png image) and it can open this. But when I try to open the other images (.pnm made with luvcview), it opens always this png screenshot (that is: if there are other images, opens those, else nothing). Remark: the preview in the open menu shows the effective pnm image.
    - gpicview: it opens the png file but get the segmentation fault on the pnm
    - xzgv: opens other images but pnm file doesn't exists for him
So I think it's likely a image format problem (but openoffice draw can open pnm).
    - xsmbrowser tells that he wants the tcl version 8.5 exactly and not the 8.5.5 that I have. There is a 8.5.0 in the AUR, maybe I'll try removing 8.5.5 and installing 8.5.0.......
So there shouldn't be problems with gtk...
Moreover in dmesg now I have:
    [drm] Initialized i915 1.6.0 20060119 on minor 0
evdev.c(EVIOCGBIT): Suspicious buffer size 511, limiting output to 64 bytes. See http://userweb.kernel.org/~dtor/eviocgbit-bug.html
Maybe synaptics from google...I will verify...

  • Upgrading WLS+ADF to 11.1.1.6: problem with ADF libraries

    Hi,
I'm upgrading a standalone ADF environment (on RHEL5 64-bit) from 11.1.1.2.0 to 11.1.1.6.0. I followed note 1408663.1 "How to upgrade a WLS domain extended with ADF libraries" so first upgraded WLS to 10.3.6., then uninstalled Application Developer and finally installed the new ADF Runtime.
When I ran the upgradeJRF command in wlst for my existing domain, I got a listing of 11.1.1.2.0 targets and no mention of 11.1.1.6.0 (no error messages either, though). Starting the servers I'm still seeing deployments such as adf.oracle.domain(1.0,11.1.1.2.0) and adf.oracle.domain.webapp(1.0,11.1.1.2.0). Shouldn't these be 11.1.1.6.0 now? Also tried re-deploying my application, re-built with JDeveloper 11.1.1.6.0, but the library deployments are still on 11.1.1.2.0.
How can I upgrade the existing domain to 11.1.1.6.0?

  • Problems with Itunes Librar

    Hey guys,
I just recently got some problems with using Itunes, and now I also can't figure out how to contact apple. So I hope someone here can help me out. I have a couple of problems that I will try to explain here. First of all I wanted to delete some songs of my Ipod touch so I started with the library, but I accidentally deleted all numbers, now they are still on my Ipod but I can't sync from my Ipod to my computer. How do I get my songs back, so that I can delete some of them. And why can't you sync you from your Ipod to your computer. My mom and dad have both a computer with Itunes, If I sync one of them it delete the songs on the other computer. Also do I have some picture's on my Ipod that aren't on my computer anymore. Is there away that I can put it from my Ipod to my computer. Thanks.
    Milan

Buy a 3rd-party ipod manager such as CopyTrans. You can't do what you want with iTunes. The general consesus is that itunes was purposely designed this way to assure record companies that it would deter piracy. When in fact, all it does is cause grief to folks who have had a hard drive crash or accidently hit the wrong button, like you did.
Here is an article that explains a bit more

  • Problem with referenced libraries (after flash 5.5 trial install/uninstall)

I've been using flash builder 4 & flash cs5 with on problems.
I unstalled flash 5.5 trial version to have a play around, then uninstalled it. I also changed the flex sdk version flash builder was using so I could export and test stageVideo.
Now when making Flash Professional Project in flash builder ( and selectiong and selecting the main fla), the referenced libraries are not imported to the project, and all old predicts ( which have referenced librares and used to work) are looking for swc's held in the 'Adobe Flash CS5.5' folder, and so none of the code hinting is working.
    Help please

    Hi MoTor,
You would need to uninstall existing Flash Builder 4.5 on your machine and then install Flash Builder 4.6 in trial mode.
During installation, it doesn't accept the serial number of Master Collection. So, just install it in trial mode and make sure that the you select the same language as that of your Master Collection, during FB installation.
Now launch FB and it would then accept Master Collection CS 5.5 serial number.
http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/924/cpsid_92402.html is the related tech note.
    Hope this helps.

  • Problem with external libraries and Web DynPro

    Hello,
    we're stuck here.
We're trying for a week now to include external libraries(e.g. Hibernate) into our Web DynPro Project, without success so far.
We read every single forum and blog entry we could find on this topic.
    E.g.: /people/valery.silaev/blog/2005/09/14/a-bit-of-impractical-scripting-for-web-dynpro
    We're running Netweaver 2004s SP9 Trial Version.
The biggest problem is, that when we deploy an J2EE Server Component Library DC exactly like described in the blog entry above, although it is deployed correctly an lists under Server->Libraries in Visual Administrator, the external hibernate.jar doesn't get deployed onto the server. It's just an empty container named hib/lib without any entries in "Jars Contained". The sda file of the library DC also has only 2K and doesn't include the hibernate.jar which we added as used dc...
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Or is there a simpler way to include external jars into Web DynPro Projects and deploy them to the server? (We already tried putting them into the lib folder without luck, we always get "NoClassDefFound...")

    Hallo Christian,
this is a bug which should be fixed in NW 7.0 SP9 patch1: [Look at this forum thread on the same issue: External Library DC in NW2004s SP09|External Library DC in NW2004s SP09].

    Hi
Just modify the NativeVersionEnabled property to false in nodemanager.properties file, that will solve the pb. If you dont have a property in nodemanager.properties file add one.

  • Problems with iPhoto libraries since installing iLife

I have got very confused as to what has happened since I installed iLife and upgraded my photo library. I have read a few posts here and theer so apologies if this is answered elsewhere. I seem to be stuck in a loop with accessing my photos, it tellms me to upgrade the library - which I did - but it still isn't working. I can see all my pics and folders via Adobe Bridge, so they are there... but even when I try to look at the library (actually I have two for some reason) via Time Machine, it says the same thing. Can anyone help?  Thank you.

Try this:  launch iPhoto with the Option key held down and create a new, test library.  Import some photos and check to see if the same problem persists. If you can create and run a new library then the problem lies with your existing library.
If that's the case make a temporary, backup copy (if you don't already have a backup copy) of the library and apply the two fixes below in order as needed:
    Fix #1
Launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.
Select the options identified in the screenshot.
    Fix #2
Using iPhoto Library Manager  to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
Download iPhoto Library Manager and launch.
Click on the Add Library button, navigate to your Home/Pictures folder and select your iPhoto Library folder.
Now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the File ➙ Rebuild Library menu option
In the next  window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed.
    Click on the Create button.
Note: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments but not books, calendars or slideshows. The original library will be left untouched for further attempts at fixing the problem or in case the rebuilt library is not satisfactory.

  • Problems with multiple libraries

    Hi,
I'm having an issue with my 2 libraries. I have an external hard drive with 2 folders on it. One is Ipod, one is Music. Inside both is iPod Media that contains the music files. The Music folder has my entire music collection as imported. The Ipod folder has all that music in 128 bitrate and culled for dupes in order to get it all to fit on the ipod. When I first set this up it worked fine. I had to wipe every bit of itunes off my computer and reinstall. Now when I bring up a library using the shift, if I go into edit preferences, the import speed has change to that of the previous library (each folder is different), and in advanced, the location of my iTunes Media folder has changed to the folder of the previous library opened. It did not do this the first time I set this up. Now every time I swith folders I have to switch preferences. That gets really old really fast. Does anyone have any ideas what is going on and how to fix it. Thanks
    Teri

+It did not do this the first time I set this up.+
Are you sure? Because mine has always done that when I shift-start for another library. The preferences are tied to the windows user profile, when they should be tied to the library being used.
Every time I switch libraries, I check to make sure the itunes folder is correct and import settings are correct.
One idea is, you can create a windows users named iPod (or whatever makes sense to you). Have that user set up in itunes with the ipod preferences. The downside of this method is, itunes for windows doesn't support fast user switching, so you will have to close itunes in your regular windows account to use itunes in the ipod user account.
I've sent Apple feedback on it. You can too.

  • Problems with songs skipping in ITunes Library

I recently transferred my Itunes from an old PC based computer to a new PC based laptop (GateWay M Series - Windows Vista). After that I upgraded to Itunes 8.1. I am now experiencing the problem with songs in my Library skipping after about 5 seconds into the song. I have my library sorted alphabetically, sometimes after the 5 seconds it skips down 10-15 songs before it lands on one that it plays all the way through. In one instance it played all the way through on 3 songs from the same album - only to start skipping after 5 seconds into the 4th song. It doesn't happen on every song. There doesn't seem to be a rhyme or reason to the types of songs this happens with - some of them were purchased songs, some were from CDs. I tried uninstalling the Library and then reinstalling - figuring that my library was corrupted. But - it is still doing it - only now it is doing it on different songs than before. Again no rhyme or reason. Has anyone else experienced this? Any ideas on what I can do to fix this!! My husband and son were able to transfer their libraries from the old PC to their new PC laptops and they haven't had this problem with their libraries!

Similar problem here, running OS X 10.5.6 and iTunes 8.1.1. Any suggestions?

sorry but,the external libraries that i use are in .jar, what i've to do to include these libraries in my jar?One of 3 things
    1) Take them out of the jar, and put them in a folder, preferably a folder in the same folder as the jar
    2) Write a custom classloader to load classes from nested jars
    3) Extract the contents of all the dependency jars, and jar them all up with your own code
The first is almost always the most preferable, the second one is doable but brittle and resistent to updating dependencies ( you have to release everything for any changes you need, even if it's not a change in your own code ) and the third one is tedious and suffers from the same robustness problems of the second, not to mention that a lot of software licences prohibit you from actually doing it. Do the first one, it's by far the most common and easiest to maintain. I really wouldn't advise the third option, ever, though. Any activity that reduces the modularity of your application is ill-advised
