Problem with the regeneration of Table Maintenance
My Scenario is like this.
I have to add a Long Description with a length of 4000 Charecters. For this I have created in my Z TAble ZINT INT2 5 and ZZLONG_DESC LCHR 4000. I have activated the ZTABLE. I have Adjusted & Activated the Database by using Data Base Utility. I have regenerated the Table Maintenance (SM30), here my concern is I am not able to see the ZZLONG_DESC Field for Value Entry. I have seen all other Fields are ready for input, except this field. How do you achieve this.
What ever I will type in ZZLONG_DESC, when I say SAVE it should be available in ZTABLE.
How to read the Long TExt for 4000 charecters, is it possible using the Function Module "READ_TEXT". Please suggest me.

Yes, there is a problem with fields of long lengths. But, can I know exactly what type of table maintenance u have generated? Is it a one step or a two step? I suggest you to go ahead with creation of two step table maintenance. Then you will definitely see that in the second screen means, when you click on "New Entries" you should be able to see it. Plz have a try at this and let me know with the update. Hope this should work out.
Otherwise, better to go with Text table concept. Hope you got it.

Real Time Simulation, problem with the 3D Lookup table

I have a problem with LabVIEW RT. I want to read under the parameters of temperature, time and voltage, the current out of a matrix.
The matrices differ only in the temperature (first entry in a matrix).
If the 3D Lookup table only get one matrix, I often get "Not a Number" as result. But not always, although the parameters remain the same.
If the 3D Lookup table gets three or more matrices, the result never be "Not a Number". But the 2 other matrices are "dummys" filled up with zeros, expect the temperature. Also the problem appears only if I start the test sequence as Startup on the RT-System. If I start the test sequence from the Front Panel, the 3D Lookup table works well, whether one or more than three matrices!

The 3D lookup table is not generated in my code, but is invoked as a constant. I examine the behavior of electrical loads in the cars. Consumers were in a climate chamber measured at various temperatures and these values were packed into a 3D lookup.

Problem with the XI-Audit log entries in the table "XI_AF_MSG_AUDIT"

I have an async-szenarios for PO:
We send Idoc's from SAP ERP to a WebService via SOAP. And we take Ack's. We use Integrationsprocess with deadline block to catche the errors after the retrying (three times) and to send they via e-mail.
Our problem is, the number of the audit logs in the table "XI_AF_MSG_AUDIT":
In the RTW only we see one audit log (with three retries) in an error case. But in the table XI_AF_MSG_AUDIT there are about 76 entries for the same audit log in the error case and about 20 entries in the case of the succuessfull processing.
This number of the entries in the table causes problem with the size of the redo log file and delete job of cours the large size of the table and therefore problem on the data base. The table can not be controlled. The delete job can not run and cancels every time due this redo log problems
What can cause that?
How can it be prevented, that so much entries are not be made in the table "XI_AF_MSG_AUDIT".

I am only aware of the general property auditLogEnabled of J2EE Engine Service SAP XI AF Core, which controls in general (default = true) that entries in the AF Message Audit log are written at all.

I assume that your scenarios in the error case is sending up to three messages and for each message the number of audit log infos are created. You might want to check the detailed entries in the log and see from where they are comming, you might use customer modules etc. as well.

I got the problem with the table control in FV60 transaction.
This is working for 900 line items.After 900 line items it is giving the problem like it is 1000th line item.You can post only 999 line items.
I know we can post only 999 line items,but in my file only 920 line items.
Please give me solution,if anybody come across this situation.

your file may have only 920 line items , but based on those line items, SAP may create few more new lines ( based on the clearing recon accounts , inter company transaction ...etc )...

I notice that my new IPad (3rd generation) will not stay connected to the power cord at all, I'm not exagerating, if I plug it in and browse the Internet without fail it will become unplugged and I will have to push the plug back in (Ba-beep). Ive actually grown to despise that sound when you plug your iPhone or iPad in because it reminds me of how much money I spent on something that PHYSICALLY will not charge while I'm using it.
I know the problem with it holding a charge while in use, I get it, the screen is amazing and it takes a lot to run the display, however, it is unacceptable to me that I can't even keep the thing plugged in while I'm using it. I can not even leave it on my Cal King bed overnight because I will wake up in the morning to find that the plug has been jiggled loose in a corner, so it's still attached but not making a connection thus not being charged.
I love the 4GLTE from Verizon and I love the iPad, but I'm actually using my 1st generation IPad while I am at home so I can leave my new $900 iPad on a table to charge free of incident so I can use the 4G while I'm away from wifi during the day. I have been getting more upset about this because I can not even use the Griffin extended cord to charge the iPad and be far from the plug because only the original apple sync/charge cord will have a better shot at staying in. Absolutely none of my non apple cables will stay in the iPad 3 while having it in my hands.
The plug is at an angle, unlike the first iPad, not sure about the iPad 2. Please let me know if they have same issue.
If anyone else is having this problem with the Gen 3 iPad please let me know because I'm tempted to do something about it with apple and I'm hoping that I just for some reason have a bad cable receiver or something and maybe I can get a replacement and enjoy the iPad as I had expected to. There is no reason why I should be even using my first iPad and I have friends that want to buy it but I am not selling it because I'm unable to sell it because I can't handle the new iPad while it's plugged in, that is ridiculous if it's a common issue so please let me know!Thanks for the swift reply, I have been looking online and a loose plug seems to be somewhat of an issue with many, I hope mine is actually a problem and not what others are experiencing. It's taken me this long to even reach out for the simple fact I HATE being a complainer but this is just horrible.

Can anyone help me?You are trying to lookup data from qw_qualifier you are currently modifying. You could see the data in a inconsistent way and Oracle is protecting you from it.
You could read here about how to program around this problem.
But: your table design seems questionable. You have two records for qw_qualifier and you are trying to log it into one qw_qualifier_log record. Maybe you could fix that, and the need for querying the same table as you are updating is removed.

What i am trying to do is..On multiselection or on single leaad selection, I should pass the whole amount to the BAPI or the amount related to only the leadselection.

If you use the selectedRow variable in if condition, it will fetch only one row from table. Because the getLeadSelection() method gives the number of row which got selection on first click before pressing Ctrl key. So you can get only one value for leadselect. that's why the if loop failure for other selected rows.

I have a problem with the synchronisation of my iPhone and iPad with Outlook 2007 on my 64-bit Windows 7 PC. For several years,
I have had no problems with the synchronisation by cord connection and iTunes between these programmes. However, a few months ago I decided to use Mobile Me. However, there were problems with duplication of calendars and then “rogue events” – which could not be deleted – even if deleted on Outlook and on the iPhone (or both at the same time) – they would just reappear after the next synchronisation. All other synchronisation areas (eg Contacts, Notes etc) work fine.
I have looked for help through the Apple Support Community and tried many things. I have repaired my Outlook. I have repaired my .pst file in Windows. I have re-installed the latest version of iTunes on my PC. I have re-installed the firmware on my iPhone. I have tried many permutations on my iPhone. I have closed down all Mobile Me functions on the iPhone. I have spent upwards of 24 hours trying to solve this problem.
What am I left with? Outlook works seamlessly on my PC. My iPhone calendar now has no events from my calendar, but does not synchronise through iTunes. Nor does it send events initiated on the iPhone to the Outlook. I am at the point of abandoning iPhones and iPads altogether. I need to have a properly synchronising calendar on my phone. How to solve a serious problem with the Battary of my T500 laptop ?

My personal laptop is Lenovo THINKPAD T500 2055, and its main specifications are as follows:
- 39T6651 SBB 9 CELL LI-ION BATTERY
- Intel Core 2 Duo processor T9400 (2.53GHz 1066MHz 6MBL2)
- 8 GB DDR3 SDRAM Memory Module 4 GB (2 x 4 GB) 1066MHz DDR31066/PC38500 DDR3 SDRAM SoDIMM Kingston.
- 2 GB Intel Turbo Memory hard drive cache.
- ATI Mobility Radeon 3650 with 256MB.
- 160 GB Hard Disk Drive, 7200rpm.
- Windows 7 Ultimate with the latest Service Pack (x64).
My problem precisely and concisely is the Battary. I have been using my laptop with the same battary since 01.01.2009 (Almost 3.5 Years), and the battary has been working quite OK.
Most of the time my laptop is plugged in and working with the electricity. However, A very few times I used the laptop while it is running on battery, Nevertheless, I have the habit to empty the batter once in a while i.e. Every 3 weeks, I unplug the charger and keep using the laptop till I see the warning orange sign (5%), then, I plug it in again.
Thankfully, I never had any problems with the battary nor the laptop, and when I charge the laptop usually it shows full sign (100%).
Three days ago, All of a sudden my laptop starts flashing the orange battary sign constantly while charge indicates 100%. When I try running on the battery by unplugging the AC adapter, the laptop loses power immediately and shuts down right away.
What do you think should I do? Could you please provide me any useful tips to resolve this problem?

If I click onto any link or webpage I am quite often getting a briefing 'hanging' before Mozilla responds. I also get a message at the top of my screen stating that Firefox is not responding and the loading symbol justs spins in circles until it eventually frees up and opens the page. Prior to Firefox 32.0 being downloaded on 3/9/14 I had no problems with this 'hanging' at all. I can only assume it is a Firefox issue as I do not have the same issues if I use Internet Explorer or any other programs installed on my computer.

Here I have a Problem regarding the creation of Table using CSS.
In My Application i have a table with multiple rows(Rows are Dynamically added to the table).First i am setting the table with the following properties:
width:900px;
height : auto,
Overflow : visible,
Max-height: : 200px.
If I use above properties,I'm getting a table with 5 or 6 rows(height upto 200px).After that i am getting the Vertical ScrollBar.
The problem is when a table has many columns, Vertical and Horizontal Scrolls are coming at the time of setting the table. The table height is not Increasing dynamically.
How can i use "height" property in CSS? (I want the table height to be increased when the columns are more.)

MadhaviHey humble user. Errr I'm trying to understand what ur trying to do. U want to create a section of a region destructively from an existing region right? If so select the option convert to new region (opt-comm-R or selecting it by right clicking). Check your audio bin to make sure. Whats the "merge" function? Are u refering to the glue tool?

Problems with the function DBMS_XMLSCHEMA.copyEvolve
I´m having problems with the evolution of xml-schema.
First the function DBMS_XMLSCHEMA.copyEvolve works correctly, but since one week I get only errors. Strangely is the fact that I use the same files (xml-schema, xslt and xml instances) and the same SQL-Code. Even if I delete all tables, directories, ... with the drop instruction and create them again, I get only error messages. It is also strangely that the function DBMS_XMLSCHEMA.copyEvolve not works if the old and new xml-schema are identical and no XSLT-Stylesheet is handed over. Can by the function DBMS_XMLSCHEMA.copyEvolve something going wrong in the database ? Do I must recreate the database, and how can I do that by the XE? But that can not be a good solution.
Has anybody a idea what can I do?

0CUSTOMER_TEXT - problem with the cyrillic (ukrainian) characters

Within the framework of Ukrain deployment, I try to extract customer texts (0CUSTOMER_TEXT) and I meet a problem with the cyrillic (ukrainian) characters. All of them are replaced by a '#' (into the table /BI0/TCUSTOMER & into the PSA too).
From SAP marketplace source, customer text comes from KNA1-NAME1.
The funniest thing is that the cyrillic (ukrainian) characters extracted by 0CUSTOMER_ATTR are accurately uploaded and specially 0NAME attribute filled by the same r/3 field KNA1-NAME1.
FYI: I checked the configuration of RFC connections and for all of ABAP connections have the radiobutton UNICODE selected.
Could someone help me?

Problems with retrieving data from tables with 240 and more records
Hi,
I've been connecting to Oracle 11g Server (not sure exact version) using Oracle 10.1.0 Client and O10 Oracle 10g driver. Everything was ok.
I installed Oracle 11.2.0 Client and I started to have problems with retrieving data from tables.
First I used the same connection string, driver and so on (O10 Oracle 10g) then I tried ORA Oracle but with no luck. The result is like this:
I'm able to connect to database. I'm able to retrieve data but from small tables (e.g. with 110 records it works perfectly using both O10 and ORA drivers). When I try to retrieve data from tables with like 240 and more records retrieval simply hangs (nothing happens at all - no error, no timeout). Application seems to hang forever.
I'm using Powerbuilder to connect to Database (either PB10.5 using O10 driver or PB12 using ORA driver). I used DBTrace, so I see that query hangs on the first FETCH.
So for the retrievals that hang I have something like:

Problems started when I installed 11.2.0 Client. Even if I want to use 10.0.1 Client, the same problem occurs. So I guess something from 11.2.0 overrides 10.0.1 settings.

I've been connecting to Oracle 11g Server (not sure exact version) using Oracle 10.1.0 Client and O10 Oracle 10g driver. Everything was ok.Earlier (before installing new stuff) did you ever try retrieving data from big tables (like 240 and more records), if yes, was it working?Yes, with Oracle 10g client (before installing 11g) I was able to retrieve any data, either it was 10k+ records or 100 records. Installing 11g client changed something that even using old 10g client (which I still have installed) fails to work. The same problem occur no matter I'm using 10g or 11g client now. Powerbuilder hangs on retrieving tables with more than like 240 records.

Problem with the "Total By" icon
Hi.
Working with Answer I've a problem with the "Total By" icon when the fact displayed is semi-additive.
I try to explain better:
1) my fact table has the following dimensions
Time (year granularity)
City
Type of contracts
2) the fact table contains the fact "Number of Active Contracts"
this fact is additive by City and Type but not by Year.
The "Number of Active Contracts" is calculated usign 2 existing logical columns
Sum (of Number Of Contracts (at base granularity)) / Count Distinct ( of Years )
This fact express an average when more than year is involed in the aggregation,
but express the exact number of contracts if the year is displayed as an output column of the report.
This fact works well changing the aggregation in reports, but when I click on the "Total By" icon to show
the totals its behaviour is different from expected.
consider the report with the following columns:
Yearm City, Number of Active Contracts

The "Total By" icon Instead of the sum divided by ditinct years involed, i.e. 1, shows the sum divided by the number of Cities.
It seem it is counting 5 tiimes (= number of cities) the same year.
But If make a report with
Year, Number of Active Contracts

I tried it, and it looks like it gets attached to the Bookmark Tool bar. It may help to make sure all the Toolbars are visible in '''View> Toolbars. '''
It may also be because I have too many extensions on my toolbar ( Too many favorites :-))
