Problem with viewing iTunes

Question

When i open iTunes, All i see is a black area, with very fuzzy writing, Shown below... Anyone else had/have this problem or know what i can do to fix it? Just spent 250 on an iPod today, needless to say i dont want it to be useless.
I AM using the 64bit Version, with my 64bit Vista Home Premium OS.

I've just had to revert my full theme of computer back to the old one to allow it to work.
I have installed the 64bit version, and the installer i meantioned was something completely un-related to iTunes but was using some of my computers resources (Newest WoW Test Realm Installing).
When i booted iTunes with a vista background theme, It caused the black iTunes, the screen was fine everywhere that the program was not (see above SS). When i tried the method described in the first posters post, It did not work, but put me onto a green screen when i launched it due to a theme change not applying correctly when vista tried to do it itself. I then did the change myself, back to the old, 95-style start menu/bars etc... and tried launching iTunes in XP SP2 Compatability as mentioned in the first posters reply to me. And it worked fine.
Summary: Tried with base settings on install of Vista, Both normally starting it, And starting it in a different compatability. Neither worked, however when i reverted my whole windows theme, aswell as the compatability it was running in/as, it worked fine... I now have tuned on my pod and get to relax knowing i never need to open iTunes again 800 songs should keep me interested for a while.
