Problems combining 2 pages into 1

OK, we have our department letterhead as a .pdf file (created in MS Office and saved as .pdf) and we have a fillable fax coversheet form created in Adobe Acrobat 9.0 and LiveCycle Designer and saved as a .pdf. We need to combine these two into one document, with the end result being the form fields of the fax coversheet appearing on the letterhead template. However, I cannot copy/paste between forms; I cannot import any graphics into the fax coversheet via LiveCycle to have the logo appear; and I cannot determine any other way to get these two forms into one.
Can anyone help me with this? We really don't want to start over from scratch - and if we do, what do we do differently?

My guess is that you are dealing with two different form types. The letterhead pdf needs to be imported into Designer so you have the same form types. Then you shoudl be able to copy and past between them. You can import the letterhead PDF or the word file into Designer.

Thanks for your reply. The error ocurrs even before I manage to choose files, the Combine Files into a Single PDF window doesn't even come up when I click on it from the menu. It is definitely not a problem with the files.

How can I convert digitally signed PDF's so I can combine them into a single multi-page PDF?

We are an architectural firm and we receive drawings from consultants as PDF's that are digitally signed. In order to combine all of our drawings into a single PDF, we currently send the PDF's to a printer, have them printed, and scan them as new PDF's. This process reduces the clarity of the PDF and re-printing the scanned PDF's reduces the clarity even further. Is there a way to "flatten" or otherwise convert the digitally signed PDF's so we can combine them into a single multi-page PDF? Making a portfolio is not an option. We need an actual multi-page PDF for a variety of reasons. This problem is actually preventing our office from using digital signatures so any help would be greatly appreciated.

But, if you need to combine single pages, then it can be done with Adobe Acrobat only.

Is there a way to combine 2 log in page into one on my macbook

I had 2 login pages 1 for home use and 1 for work use but now I wanna combine them so I can access all files without log into 2 different accounts on the home page....so was wondering if there is a way to sync both account instead of deleting 1 bc I still wanna be able to access all the files .......please help

Unfortunately cutting and pasting doesn't work. The margins are so different for each document as the first document is a standard report with the text centered on the page while the second document is in the form of a letter that is off center toward the right side of the page. Cutting and pasting either one into the other (I've tried both ways) alters both documents in a way that causes the images, quotes, etc that are interspersed throughout each of them to show up in the wrong place (and they cannot be moved to the correct location due to the differences in margin.
They really need to simply be placed end to end rather than trying to combine them into one. This is apparently a simple thing with Pages on the Mac itself but it does not appear to be as simple with the iPad app. Thanks anyway for your help.

Adobe Reader is a free trusted standard for reliably viewing, printing, and annotating PDF documents. It’s the only PDF file viewer that can open and interact with all types of PDF content, including forms and multimedia.
In order to combine PDF pages into a single PDF file, you need to either use Adobe Acrobat (Merging and combining PDF files | Acrobat XI - Adobe India) or Adobe PDF pack (Reliably Create PDFs, Convert PDFs, & Merge PDFs Online | Adobe PDF Pack).

Cannot log into Bank of America account "Problem loading page"

It will allow me to sign in but after asking for my "sitekey", which is essentially a password, gives me the error message "problem loading page" and that Firefox can't find the server at onlineeast1.bankofamerica.com. I have contacted Bank of America and they say it is a browsing issue. Works occasionally in IExplorer but is very intermittent and I don't use that browser anyway. Can't see how much money I don't have!

I HAVE THE EXACT SAME PROBLEM. I've contacted paypal several times, they always give me some bs answers like my bank account is a payoneer virtual account(it's not! it's a traditional one!), or sometimes they say it's my bank whose not allowing the linkage. I contact my bank account and they say it must be an error on paypal's end. I'm so frustrated right now, paypal isn't doing anything.

But, since the thread is dealing with CUPS-PDF and I have been desperately seeking CUPS-PDF for a long time ever since I've got my brand new iMac only 5 days ago (5 days on a new iMac [which is not only new but is intel-based, and which I was forced to buy because my older PPC iMac G5 died of preternatural or some other causes] is an extremely long time on account of Snow Leopard, about which I am like a babe trying to start speaking for the first time) I found it more expedient to "reply" in order to get some help with CUPS-PDF from someone who knows.
I've downloaded CUPS-PDF from "https://bitbucket.org/codepoet/cups-pdf-for-mac-os-x/wiki/Home" and installed it following the instructions included therein.
The only instruction I could not follow is to pick "Generic postscript color printer"; I could pick "Generic postscript printer" though.
CUPS-PDF shows in the printer list.
CUPS-PDF apparently prints as indicated by the progress bar.
But, the print doesn't show anywhere on my computer:
The output is not in /Users/Shared/CUPS-PDF in a folder with my user account's name.
I did make an alias to this folder on my desktop but it only contains two folders: "my user name" and "SPOOL"
The first folder had a "clone" of the download source page (which I deleted.)
SPOOL has nothing in it.
I've never had a problem using CUPS-PDF while on OS X 10.4.11, something I'll never be able to revert to.
I'll be eternally grateful to you if you could help me with this issue but, on condition that you use a language as plain as English since my expertise with OS X, which was never as considerable as to be able to use terminal to any advantage, nor understanding terms such as sudos and the like, is now even diminished on account of the new OS I am forced to use from now on.

Reformatting problems combining multiple indesign docs

My daughter's school newspaper has 24 pages. Each page is laid out using InDesign and is a separate document. When all the pages are done, they combine all 24 pages into one big InDesign doc. But when they do this, some pages will randomly reformat the text, adding spaces, changing line breaks, etc. They then have to go through the whole thing and re-do all the changes that occurred when the pages were combined. Does anyone know what settings should be in place so that this random reformating problem does not happen?

There's nothing random about it. When you move a page from one ID doc to
another if you have identically named styles the definition in the ID doc
that is being added to takes over.
Use the book feature to avoid this.

Since I upgraded to Yosemite, Image Capture does not combine pages in to one PDF document

Ever since I upgraded my OS to Yosemite, in my Intel iMac, I have not been able to combine the scanned multiple pages of a document into one PDF file using Image Capture, even though the option to combine pages is checked off. It makes multiple PDF files of these pages. Furthermore, I have even tried to use Preview to combine these individual pages into one document and save it into one file but it will only save one page. Is anyone else having the same problem? If so has anyone found a solution to this problem? Please help. It was wonderful to be able to do this in Maverick. Thanks.

Problem combining PDFs in Acrobat 9.1

I'd appreciate some help with the following problem. Maybe I'm simply being a nong -- always possile -- if so, please be gentle with me!
I have a document that was saved with each page as a separate PDF, and I need to combine them into one -- obviously, in the correct order.
The only way I know to do this is to open either the first or last page, then go to Document | Insert Pages | From File ... (I'm using Windows XP), and select the range of pages in the selection box. Then I tell Acrobat to insert them after the existing first page, or before the page if I have the last page opened, and it does so.
Everything seems to go without a hitch, but no matter how I select them, or what options I choose in the dialogue box just before their inserted, they're always inserted in reverse order.
The PDF files have their page number in the file name, so they appear in the dialogue box in the correct order. But how do I get them to be inserted into the existing PDF in the correct ascending order?
Or do I have to insert them manually, one at a time? Surely not?

I went back to Acrobat, and thought "wait a minute ... Combine !!" I guess sometimes you just need to ask the question, get it out of your thoughts, for the answer to show up. I was on my way here to post that I'd solved it, but you beat me to it.

Hi Feinimoshu,
I think what you are trying to do is display your four VIs in a single front panel. For that you can have a main VI with a Sub Panel in its front panel and dynamically call your four VIs as required. You can view all your VIs in the same front panel in this way.

How to merge two A5 pages into a single A4 page.

I have three PDF documents that I want to print duplexed onto a single A4 sheet. The first two pages (front and back) are A5 which is causing a problem when printing as it will not allow me to print in booklet format without cropping the back page.
Is there any way to combine the two A5 pages into a single A4 page within Acrobat??
I am currently running Acrobat 6.0 Standard on Windows XP SP2

When you have been around since AA5 and earlier, the printer used to be the trick to doing things. Since AA5 a lot of the features have been built into Acrobat and it might be possible to create the page in another way. However, the print approach should still work.
