Problems mit CCMS Monitoring
Dear community,
I've got a question regarding the CCMS Monitoring. I monitor the MTE-Class R3SyslogSpool.
I already set an autoreactionmethod about the transaction rz21 and I get an mail when an error aoocurs.
But now I've got the problem that I want to reduce the mails of an error. At present I get every five minutes an error mail that a print queue is down.
I just want to have one mail when the error occurs the first time and not every times.
I already set the value "Max. number of alerts for each message ID" under "Monitoring: Properties and Methods" --> "log attribute". But this configuration doesnt't take any effect. I still get an mail by every alert.
What else can I do, to get just one mail by occuring an error?

Hi Michael,
try this:
go to the rz20, finsd the MTE, mark it and click on "Properties".
Choose "General" tab and enter the following:
Maximum number of alerts kept: 1
Which alerts should be kept? The oldest.
this should solve your problem

We have installed all SAP components in Solaris 10 zones including Solution Manager.
Solaris File Systems are not shown in CCMS Monitoring under FileSystem. It looks like SAPOSCOL is not sending the OS data to CCMS. It does not show file systems in OS06 also.
The probles exists on Systems runnig in Solaris 10 zones only and NOT on systems running on individual Servers. [without Solaris zones]

You need take some special considerations while installing SOLMAN on SOLARIS 10 zones. Check these notes

Missing "SAP XI Adapter engine" in CCMS Monitor
Dear all,
we try to configure PI CCMS monitor but we can't find the subtree "SAP XI Adapter engine " in Visual admin.
In detail:
the subtree "SAP XI Adapter engine "is not displayed in Visual administrato under
server->service->monitoring->Monitor tree ->Root application .
So we have set to true the value "CCMSEnabled" of seervice "SAP XI AF core" , and we have restarted the instance.
After the restart i DO NOT find the "SAP XI Adapter engine " in
SAP NetWeaver Administrator,
'System Management' -> 'Monitoring' -> 'Java System Reports' -> 'Reports'. From the dropdown list 'Report' choose 'Monitor Browser', and display all monitors
So I can't activate the monitor.
and if the subtree is not present , i can't see the MTE in "SAP XI Adapter engine " RZ20.
Additional info:
- In RZ20 I have my system under SAP J2ee Monitor template->All system
but the MTE "J2EE Applications" is grayed.
- In file application.xml under /usr/sap/ccms/XIT_10/j2ee<server0> i do not find the tag:
<app name="application sap.com/com.sap.aii.af.app">
<node>\XIT\XIT 10 Appl .... sp30t0\SAP XI Adapter Engine</node>
</app>
I think this is the correct procedure that we have done in other different landscape whithout problems.
Is there something else to check ?

I am using PI 7.0 instead so I have followed the instruction in (http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/en/e5/5d1741b393f26fe10000000a1550b0/frameset.htm) instead.
The problem is, Adapter Engine is still not listed as one of the application avaialble for Monitoring in Visual Admin even though the SAP XI AF Core has definitely been set with CCMSEnabled = true.
Any further suggestions?

CCMS monitoring of SRM's own XI integration engine
I have CCMS problems when monitoring XI integration engine of a SRM system. The integration engine will not appear in CCMS. I opened a question on SRM solution forum, could somebody have a look at it there. Here is the link to original question and earn your points there:

Of course you have to adjust the GRMG in order to have only the ABAP part under monitor.

In CCMS monitoring RZ20, the node XI_system Business Process Engine -> Overall status -> Status of the automatic customizing is red. The text is BPE customizing not fully maintained.
When clicking this text, an information page is shown, and you can go directly to Automatic Workflow Customizing to Perform Automatic Workflow Customizing. Here, all the steps are green! A few days ago I had to manually execute the job scheduling for Packaging and Reorganization. They where grey before I did this. But now, they are all green.
So why is the status red in the CCMS monitoring?
BTW: The nodes Runtime -> Process scheduling -> Status of automatic clean up and Status of container definition buffer are also red!
Anyone with a suggestion of what the problem could be?

Let me just get your issue straight... your issue is in the CCMS monitor itself?
Becuase two things here:
1: I am sure there are two views... as in one with current alerts and one with previous alerts. (Open Alerts and Current Status). Check which one you are in...
2: When an error is solved I think you have to update it manually...
I am just taking a stab at this since it is a while since I last worked with CCMS...
Could any of these be your issue?

CCMS monitoring for SAPconnect based on Error Message Numbers
Hi,
We are trying to use the CCMS monitoring to produce alerts for SAPconnect based specific Error Message Numbers for emails for example, however the monitoring function or data collection method for SAPconnect (BCOMAL_SXDS) does not provide that level of granularity. Has anybody faced this same problem and can provide a recommendation for this?

You can see the message details in SE91.
In FI, you can control the message number in OBA5. Normally message numbers are issued like this
AA165
First two digits (alpha) is called application area next digits are called message number.
Sometimes, you may not be able to see the messages in OBA5, in such case you need to go to OBMSG transaction code and include the message number to your application area, then you need to come to back to OBA5 to make it information / warning / switch off / error (as the case may be)

CCMS Monitoring of Java Engine
Hi Guys and Girls,
I have configured a central system for CCMS monitoring.
I am able to see the paramters for abap part.
I have uploaded a J2ee scenario and it is running in GRMG Tcode. I have also activated ccms service in SICF.
But i am unable to see my java server nodes in RZ20 -> j2ee template monitor set.
The j2ee template looks like this.
Allsystem
-> <SID>
|
-> J2EE Engine
-> J2EE Applications
-> J2EE Logfiles
+-> CCMS Selfmonitoring
+ ->Operating System
I can see parameter details for CCMS Selfmonitoring and Operating System.
But J2EE Engine, Applications and Logfiles and just there with no sub nodes.
am i missing some setting. Request your help on this.

Can you please check the note 1065754 as this can cause similar problems to what you have. Can you also check the following
CCMSPING is able to monitor if a system is accessible and if the instances are up and running (ABAP and JAVA instances)
GRMG is able to monitor if a HTTP application is up and running.
You have to install the SAPCCMSR agent to view the J2EE monitor information via the RZ20 transaction in the ABAP system
You have to install SAPCCM4X agents, to improve the CCMS monitor concept or for additional monitor functionality like using central auto-reaction methods or log file monitoring.
The J2EE availability didn't work because the old CCMSPING functionality was still used. All the systems in the availability configuration in the transaction RZ21 may be using the RFC destination "CCMS_SYSTEM_PING_
Can you change this to the new agent.
And after this please re-initialized the whole availability structure by executing the function module
SCSM_AVAILABILITY_STARTUP_METH one time manually in the transaction SE37 and activate the new CCMSPING technology in your system.
First of all I think the problem is related to the availability and you don't need the sapccm4x agent or sapccmsr to have the availability alerts in RZ20. If you want to extend this functionality, let's say
you want to get email alerts whenever one of your system is down you should install the sapccm4x agent for ABAP or sapccmsr for non-ABAP.
We have to focus only on ccmsping at this stage.
The ccmsping program (agent) only exists as Non-Unicode version and is able to work with Unicode and Non-Unicode instances.After registering the ccmsping agent it is necessary to restart the instance (or at least to reset the monitoring segment into warmup status) so the startup method for availability monitoring is able to
determine if there is an agent running registered with push option or not, because in this case other function modules have to be used.
Once check whether ccmsping is working fine?
If you get the error message when you check ccmsping like Message No. RA100
This message means 'Neither instance nor logon groups found' and it means that the ccmsping registration wasn't successfull.
its better to register with the newest version of ccmsping as per note 1013331 CCMS agents and kernel: Patches 2007

Problem mit Speedgrade - "Reel nicht geladen"
Ich habe seit neustens ein Problem mit Adobe Speedgrade.
Nachdem ich mein Premiere Pro Projekt per "senden and Speedgrade" an Sg gesendet haben öffnet sich direkt die .ircp Datein in Sg. Bis hier her alles Ok. Die Szenen werden wie gehabt in der Timeline richtig angezeigt, jedoch zeigt das Vorschaufenster den Fehler "Reel nicht geladen" an. Wenn ich jedoch eine neue Timeline erstelle und jede Szene einzeln in die neue Timeline ziehe funktioniert alles. Bis ich Sg neustarte. Dann zeigt der Vorschau-Monitor wieder "Reel nicht geladen" an.

Probleme mit meinen G580 ( Laptop startet nicht )

ich habe eine Problem mit meinem Laptop ( G580 ). Seit ca 3 Wochen hatte/ habe ich das Problem das ich zum starten des Laptops den An/Ausschalter nur ganz kurz antippen musste damit dieser startet. Hat man etwas länger gedrückt , sprang der Laptop an aber ich hatte kein Bild. Seit heute habe ich nun das
Problem immer. Der Laptop geht an und arbeitet nur ich bekomme kein Bild. Wenn ich den An/ Ausknopf länger drück geht der Laptop mit einem lauten "klick" aus. Welches Problem kann hier vorliegen? Wenn die Festplatte nach dem Einschalten aufgehört hat zu arbeiten müsste sich Windows durch kurzes Drücken des Einschalters wieder in den Ruhezustand versetzen oder herunterfahren (je nach Einstellung). Dann wüsste man zumindest schonmal, dass im Hintergrund alles normal läuft.
Auch einen externen Monitor könntest du einmal testen. Das G580 sollte ja einen VGA- oder HDMI-Anschluss haben.

Guten Abend,
ich habe ein Problem mit meinem neuen E73 (10DR-001DGE). OS ist W7-64 Professional.
Der Rechner hat eine NVIDIA GT 620 mit je einem VGA- und einem Displayport als Ausgang.
Am VGA-Ausgang betreibe ich einen Samsung 19" mit 1280x1024, am DP über einen DP-HDMI-Adapter einen IIyama 27" mit 1920x1080. Der Parallelbetrieb beider Monitore mit erweiterten Anzeigen klappt, soweit also alles ok.
Ich habe nun eine etwas ältere Rennsimulation installiert (GTR2) und möchte diese über den 27' laufen lassen. Die SW hat eine eigene Konfigurations-SW, in der ich ebenfalls eine Auflösung von 1920x1080 eingestellt habe, Sobald ich die SW starte, passiert folgendes:
1. Monitor 1 (27") wird zu Monitor 2 und die Auflösung wechselt auf 800x600
2. Monitor 2 wird zu Monitor 1, die Auflösung bleibt bei 1280*1040
Beende ich das Spiel und komme zurück zum Desktop, ist die Auflösung wieder normal und beide Monitore haben wieder die richtige Nummer, also 27" als No. 1, 19" als No. 2.
Um Fehler am Monitor auszuschließen habe ich folgende Tests durchgeführt:
1. einen anderen PC mit ebenfalls W7, allerdings 32-bit Home Premium mit der gleichen SW getestet. (NVIDIA GT 210 als GK). Dieses läuft am gleichen Monitor problemlos in 1920x1080, allerdings über eine DVI-D zu DVI-D Verkabelung, da der alte Rechner keinen Display-Port hat.
2. Ein noch älterer PC mit XP liefert auch am VGA-Anschluss die volle Auflösung mit dem Spiel.
Also scheint der Monitor zu funktioneren.
Um Fehler am Dual-Monitor-Betrieb auszuschließen habe ich folgende Tests ausgeführt:
3. Wenn ich das VGA-Kabel am 19" abnehme, wird naturgemäß nur noch der 27" erkannt. Dann läuft das Spiel in der gewünschten Auflösung. Es scheint also so zu sein, dass es Probleme im Dual-Monitor-Betrieb gibt.
4. Obwohl im Dual-Monitor-Betrieb der 27" als Hauptbildschirm eingestellt ist, wird beim Booten der Startbildschirm "Lenovo" und auch der Startbildschirm mit dem Windows-Logo auf dem 19" angezeigt. Erst wenn die Desktop-Anzeigen kommen ("Bitte warten", "Willkommen" und dann der eigentliche Bildschirm, wechselt die Anzeige auf den 27".
Es könnte also ein Problem beim Dual-Monitot-Betrieb vorliegen
Ich würde mich sehr freuen, wenn mir jemand dabei helfen könnte, dieses Problem in den Griff zu bekommen.

Ein Weg, um zu testen, ist Safe Boot aus dem HD, (Holding Shift-Taste gedrückt beim Booten), führen Sie das Festplatten-Dienstprogramm in Applications> Utilities, dann markieren Sie das Laufwerk, auf Zugriffsrechte reparieren, Test für Problem im abgesicherten Modus klicken ...
PS. Sicherer Start kann auf dem grauen Radiant für eine lange Zeit bleiben, lass es gehen, es versucht, die Festplatte zu reparieren
Starten Sie, erneut zu testen.
Ist dies der Fall es nur in Regular Boot, dann könnte es einige Hardware-Problem wie Grafikkarte, (Quartz wird im abgesicherten Modus eingeschaltet), oder Flughafen oder eine USB-oder Firewire-Gerät oder 3rd-Party-Add-on sein, Check System Preferences > Accounts> Login Items Fenster, um zu sehen, wenn sie oder etwas Relevantes aufgeführt ist.
Überprüfen Sie die Systemeinstellungen> Andere Row, für 3rd-Party Pref Panes.

Fehlerhaftes Creative Cloud Abonnement und Probleme mit dem Support von Adobe
Liebe Adobe Gemeinschaft.
Vor ca. einem Jahr bin ich in die Adobe Creative Cloud eingestiegen obschon ich etwas dagegen war. Meine Kreditkarten Informationen einfach so bekannt zu geben.
Alles lief ohne Probleme ein halbes Jahr lang bis wir die Kreditkarteninformationen wechseln mussten.
Es gab bereits Probleme mit der Mehrwertsteuer aber wir dann in eine Team Cloud wechseln wollten wurden uns ein zu hoher Betrag abgerechnet. Wir beanstandeten diesen zu hohen Betrag aber nicht einmal Adobe Support war
im Stande dies zu ändern und bat uns abzuwarten da Sie intern dies klähren wollten. Ein paar Tage später hatten wir plötzlich anstelle eines tieferen Betrages ein "Neues" Abonnement auf der Kreditkarte belastet. Eine erneute Beanstandung
mit dem Support ergab weiterhin Probleme mit interner Software seitens Abobe und man könne momentan nichts tun. Wir wissen vom Vorfall dass Adobe vor Jahren mehrerer Millionen Kreditkartendaten gestohlen wurde, so sorgfälltig
geht Adobe mit externen Daten um. Schade um diesen Giganten der nicht einmal sowas auf die reihe kriegt.
Nun gelang es mir vergangenen Sonntag mein Abonnemt in meiner Cloud einstellung zu stornieren aber siehe da zwei Tage später bedankt sich Adobe bei meiner "neuen" Bestellung. Nun werden mir Monatlich vier Einzelplatz Lizenzen
a 88.95 (384.25) Franken abgebucht und mir sind die Hände gebunden. Adobe schafft es nicht meine Abos weder zu verwalten noch zu korrigieren. Der Support selber versteht nicht einmal richtig Deutsch. Schade solche Mitarbeiter zu beschäftigen!
Der Support ist kaum erreichbar, nur Telefonisch und sonst kommt man zu einem chat, hat jemand für mich eine E-mail Adresse? Ich finde diese Art und Weise wie mit Kunden umgegangen wird einfach schade. Keine Hilfe mehr bzw. geschultes Personal welches
im Stande ist einem zu helfen bzw. Probleme zu lösen.
Ich werde versuchen in Zukunft bei Avid oder Final cut mein Glück zu finden, dieser Adobe Software Konzern ist einfach nicht in der Lage eine saubere faire korrekte und freundliche Dienstleistung anzubieten.

Ich war noch nie ein Cloud Fan aber jder denkt Heutzutage das ist doch eine coole Sache weil Apple damit angefangen hat oder was? Hauptsache man kann sich Cloud nennen. Wahnsinn wie Kreative!
Andere Möglichkeiten gibt es ja nicht! Schade drum. Ich sehne mich nach einer Installationsdatei via CD oder DVD ohne dass Dir einer täglich vorschreibt was Du zu tun und lassen hast und Dich monatlich daran erinnert für etwas zu bezahlen
welches nicht einmal wirklich toll funktioniert. Oder funktioniert Dein "Untertitler" bei Premiere? Haha nicht einmal der Support von Adobe wusste wie er geht und verwies mich auf Adobe TV!

CCMS monitoring a remote server on a ditributed system that is not an R3 in
CCMS monitoring of a remote server using RFC-SAPOSCOL on a distributed system that is not an R3 install but just an DB server. Has anyone any idea how to set this up? I've read SAP note that refer to it and where to download the files but nothing on how to set it up.
Sorry to make that clear we have a distributed system with a SAP CI on one server and a SQL DB on the other. I would like to monitor the os through CCMS on the DB server.

Error in CCMS monitoring Batch job SAP_CCMS_MONI_BATCH_DP.

I am using a Sanbox system for CCMS Monitoring activities. I assigned a method CCMS_ONAlert_Email under auto reaction to the MTE class ABAP shortdumps on node System errors. So the requirement is when an alert triggered i have to receive an alert email. I just found there is an error in Batch job created for Alert monitoring, please find the error details mentioned below. Please let me know how to solve this error
