Problems with Action menu in 3.1.2.00.02

Hi,
I wonder if any one has encountered a similar problem am having with the action menu of Interactive reports in version 3.1.2.00.02. The action items of the action menu do not work for a conditional report.
If I have the Interactive Report set to display conditional (like on the click of a button) when the report is displayed and I try to select any items on the menu, the following error message appears.
Error
A Runtime Error has occurred.
Do you wish to Debug?
Line: 1
Error: 'options' is null or not an object
Yes No
If I select no, the space to display the select manu item appears blank and the loading image remains on the page ( close to the top of the page) until I close the page or rerun the report.
I would appreciate any comments on how to deal with this problem.

after the installation i queried the dba_registry table

Is this the reason because of which i cannot LOGIN to APEX..

JDeveloper problem with actions

Hello
I'm working on my first struts application and I have any problem with actions(I think).
When I run the application, I don't see any data from DB on my page but when I click any of these 4 buttons, then the data load from DB.....Can anybody help me....I want to see my data when the page loads for the first time, not after the button click. Thanks a lot.
(The buttons shows the rows of the table....first,previous,next,last)

I forgot to say one more thing that could be relevant:
If i add any action from the struts-config.xml in the provider for the <defaultAction> of the portlet it works correctly.
So the actions work correctly, the problem is that when sending back to the oracle portal the request with the new action, there is no response.

Problem with action links

I have a relatively simple DVD project with 10 movie sequences each placed on a separate timeline. DVD has just one menu with a Button: "Watch whole movie" which basically sequences all 10 clips and then back to the menu.
Then I also have 10 Sequence-Buttons on the menu that should only show the respective sequence and then back to the menu.
1. I set up the action sequence for "Watch the whole movie" m1-m2-m3-m4-m5-m6-m7-m8-m9-m10-menu. No problem with that.
2. When I then start working on the first sequence button "SCENE 1" the problem starts. What I want is just Scene1-back to the menu. I tried it without and with end action override but then I disturbed the m1-m2-m3-m4-m5-m6-m7-m8-m9-m10-menu sequence.
I really couldn't figure out this simple task. Maybe somebody can give me a hint.

1. I set up the action sequence for "Watch the whole movie" m1-m2-m3-m4-m5-m6-m7-m8-m9-m10-menu. No problem with that.
Actually, that is the problem. Instead of making the end action of each timeline the next timeline, create a Playlist and sequence the timelines in there. Your play all button links to the playlist. End action of the playlist is Return to last menu.
Without end actions that go to the next movie, your Scene buttons will work fine. (The end action on each timeline will be "Return to Last Menu."

Problem with CC Menu Bar app (Mountain Lion)

Howdy!
So, i have this little problem with the CC menu bar app. I have it set to start when i login and everytime i (re)start my computer, the CC app window starts in the middle of the screen. I have to click in the menu bar icon for it to go to it's rightful place.
It's not a big of a problem (not really a problem even), but i wonder if there is any way for it to start hidden and in it's place.

Ok, i disabled that option, restarted, then Pinned it to the menu bar, changed the option back on and restarted again.
Still shows up in the middle of the screen as soon as i login.

Problem with: Action Required: Your AOL Username login must transition to Apple ID

In the early days of the iTunes store, it was possible to log in and make purchases with an AOL screen name. This has since been discontinued. In March 2015, Apple sent out a message to legacy iTunes account holders who have not yet converted their iTunes accounts from an AOL screen name to an Apple ID.
However, the conversion program seem to be completely mismanaged and full of glitches and problems. If Apple does nothing about this, the company will face costly class action lawsuits by disgruntled consumers who purchased music but will in the future be prevented from playing it.
I tried to follow the directions, but I am not able to log into the iTunes account under the AOL screen name. I tried to initiate a password recovery through the recovery email, but the recovery message with the re-sent link never arrives.
I contacted Apple support several times. During very lengthy (several hours long) conversations, we were able to locate the account. However, I was told that Apple cannot reset the password and give me access to the account - I should contact AOL. My appeals that this would be illogical because AOL does not have the power to change passwords on an iTunes store account were ignored, and it was clear that each Apple employees I spoke with just wanted to push the problem on someone else.
So I contacted AOL and was told that they have nothing to do with this. Nevertheless, we reset the password for the AOL screen name. As I predicted, this made no difference for the iTunes account: I still cannot log in.
Today I contacted Apple again, and after we we made certain that I we identified the correct iTunes account, the Apple employee manually initiated a recovery e-mail sent to me. However, the confirmation message I received refers to resetting the existing Apple ID (not the iTunes store account we are trying to turn into an Apple ID).
Clearly, there is a glitch in the system. It somehow intermingles and confuses information from the Apple ID and the AOL Screen Name / iTunes store ID and thinks that we are trying to reset the Apple ID.
Apple's response was ridiculous: Talk to AOL. (I already have done that and established that changing the AOL SN password does not allow me to gain access to the iTunes account).
This is my 4th call to Apple. Each lasted several hours (including hold time). Now I've been on hold for about 3 hours while I'm waiting to talk to a higher tier tech support person.
Does anyone have similar problems with this conversion? Any solutions?

You need to sign in with just the user name. not with the @aol.com at the end.
Example: If your AOL username is AOLUSERNAME & your AOL email is [email protected], you must log in with only AOLUSERNAME & your AOL email password & it will prompt you to change it. You can’t use your @aol email, it must be something else.

I`ve managed to open a JFrame in fullscreen mode but I have problems with centering buttons. I want to have a menu that consists of a number of buttons and I want them to be centered (both vertically and horizontally). I have the buttons in a JPanel but how can I center it now?

In a JFrame class I call this like that:
this.setContentPane( new MainMenu() );

Firstly make sure that your JPanel is the same size as your screen, use a setsize method. Secondly, go to www.javaalmanac.com and search for gridbaglayout. A gridbaglayout is a way to organize components horizontally and vertically.

Problems with customising menu template backgrounds

Hi.
I am experiencing problems with changing the background of the included disc menu templates in PE9. I can change the background image to anything i like on the computer and all seems to work OK but when i burn the project to disc (PAL_Dolby DVD) the custom background image has gone and been replace with the default template imagine.
Anyone got any ideas whats going on!

This issue showed up with PrE 9. I do not recall reading of it with earlier versions.
I do not know if the PSD files have some corruption, or if some change in PrE 9's code "did the deed," but many have filed a Bug Report, and I ask that you please do, as well. It should be an easy fix for Adobe (but I am not a coder, or software engineer, and could be wrong).

Cyrillic problems with TrayIcon menu

Hi, developers,
I've been writing an application which has the option to minimize to tray. I've set a awt.Menu to the TrayIcon instance and all works like a charm... on my machine. I have a tester who sees square-like characters instead of cyrillic ones(the picture bellow) when he trigers the popup:

My tester is using Windows XP sp3 and I'm running on Windows XP sp1. I suppose that the answer lies somewhere in the awt part - all Swing components with labels display cyrillic without any problems.
The menu labels are originally written in cyrillic. Could it be a local system issue or could I do something in my application?

Nope, I don't think your link was helpful at all :( See, I am not writing an applet neither am using java 1.3. As a matter of fact the TrayIcon class sticks me to java 6 :) Besides I know the basics of bundling custom fonts within my application. I think you might not be aware of the fact that most fonts support cyrillic so I don't really need to load another internationalized font.
I will remind you that labels are properly displayed on my machine. That's why I was firstly asking whether it could be a local problem of my tester.

Having Problem with Spry Menu - Help appreciated

I am currently developing my website but I am having terrible problems with the spry menu. I have tried lots of things but not yet resolved the issue. I will try to give as much info as possible. My website is www.huntfilms.ie
When I am in dreamweaver the site looks fine and when I preview in browser also looks fine but when I have uploaded to server there is the problem as you can see.
I uploaded all the files that are required I think . I have attached a screen grab of my server view below. : I have six spry files : js,css and four giff files : I have included the code below. I would apprecaite help as been at this for best part of day with no luck ; going mad here

Internet Explorer Problem with Spry Menu Bar

OK here we go
#1) In IE, the toolbar doesn't appear with the same decreased
opacity as it does in Firefox and Safari. I'm using a png
background image with a transparent background and I've defined the
background color the same as the lower layer's color. Any ideas?
#2) THE BIG ISSUE - IE doesn't display the drop down portions
of the menu properly as they display horizontally. If the cursor
moves into the <li> from another <li> the menu displays
as aforementioned. If the cursor moves into the <li> from
outside the menu bar, the menu bar behaves properly.
This is the first page I've done with a Spry menu bar as it
seems the former navigation bar process has been removed from
Dreamweaver. Any tips will be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
I took a look over your page and I noticed that you are using
a very old spry version 1.4. The current released version is Spry
1.6 and contains some major bug fixes for Menu Bar widget.
Please update to this last Spry version. You can download the
new files from
here.
The problem with the transparent background is an IE6 problem
which doesn't support transparent backgrounds. This problem is
fixed on IE7 and I check it and it works there.
Please let us know if you still have problems with MenuBar
after updating it to the new version

Problems with Help menu in photoshop CS2

When I try and access the help menu and then "photoshop help" (or press the F1 Button) in photoshop cs2 I get the following error.
"the operation could not be completed"
I then press ok on this and the following pops up.
"The instruction at "0x00864a4d" reverenced memory at "0X00F40B08". The memory could not be "written". Click ok to terminate the program"
I have win xp professionals sp2 and am using cs2.
Pc is lintel dual core with 2gb of ram.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled but still recieve error.
Does anybody have any ideas how to fix this?

MTSTUNER's advice is right on in this case. I've seen problems with the older versions of Photoshop not being able to write to their installation areas because of UAC.
If Run As Administrator doesn't work, one additional thing you can try is to turn the UAC level down to the lowest setting, run Photoshop once, then return UAC to its default (or leave it off, your choice).

DDP/IMG difference possible? Problems with the menu.

I exported an IMG and a DDP from Encore CS5. The IMG was burned as a DVD-Video. The DDP was burned as Data to a DVD.
Both were sent to a replicator. They made a few hundred copies from the DDP.
The resulting DVDs have a bug on most standalone DVD-Players and on MACs (tested with MacBook and MacBookPro): If you do nothing in the menu for a few seconds it is not possible to select any menu item anymore. The menu has a motion background and music in a loop. But the problem occurs before the loop is played through one time.
BUT ... the DVD-Video from the IMG works fine.
My problem is that I can not determine if Encored did something diffrent with the DDP or if the replicator itnroduced this strange bug somehow.
I have no software available to burn the DDP and see for myself if that works.
So my questions are:
- Has someone experienced differences between DDPs and IMGs?
- Has someone experienced the same wired bug with the menu?

Hello,
thanks for the offer to check it. But in the meantime I retransmitted (this time as a download) the same image (IMG not DDP as I feared there was something wrong with the DDP) I already gave them. The new batch of DVDs work fine. I guess I will never find out what happend because their communication is rather strange. Either something went wrong on the way with the first image (burning/reading) or they messed something up on their side and would not tell.

Problem with ACTION (move, rotate, etc) in iBookAuthor with a Keynote file

Hi everyone,
I'm doing nice keynote animations with ACTION like rotate an image, move an image, etc. That makes great animation on my Mac screen.
But when i put that animation (keynote file) in iBookAuthor as a widget, the actions are not showing correctly on the iPad. I can't see them anymore.
Do you know why?
