Problems with Installing Software for XFi Extreme Gamer C

Hi, I've just bought an XFi Extreme Gamer card. I've got a dual boot system (two difrent hard discs). The board installed ok under XP and works OK. The problem is that under Win2K Pro the installation comes up with an Entry Point Error for CTXFISPI.EXE WTSRegisterSessionNotification could not be located in WTSAPI32.dll. These files exist on the CD and Hard dri've. I do get sound and music etc but the problem is that when I try to launch the volume control or console etc it says "The current selected audio device is not supported by the application. Do you want select another audio device now?". If you say yes you get the choice of "Follow Windows Default". Now checking the device manager etc you find that Creative SB XFi is there and has no problems. There doesn't seem to be any updated drivers for Win2K on the site, I'm at a bit of a loss what to do next, I only upgraded to try and play some newer games, hasn't helped so far. Also can't launch the diagnostics programme either.
Any suggestions would be great, I don't if it's Windows fault or Creative at the moment.

are you blind man? that what nearly every post on this forum is about the complete lack of vista support. Yes we all have the driver but you can forget the console and all of the advanced connectivity you paid for. Creative are just a joke in my opinion why can't they get this sorted i also use optical in for my xbox 360 i'm totally pissed off with this situation. Come on creative get your act together and get some proper support sorted!!!!

Mountain Lion already has the most recent, updated version of AirPort Utility installed on your Mac. The version on your CD is out of date, so you can trash the CD.
Look in Macintosh HD > Applications > Utilities > AirPort Utility.

Problem with 'install credential for Adobe Document Services'

I am trying to install credential for Adobe Document Services but I have got problem with some facts that are explained in tutorial how to install credential.
1. I do not have directory persistentcom.adobe~Trust.. under my directory server0
2. where to find 'filename.pfx'?
3. I do not have Document Services Configuration in my visual Administration tool

You could go to SAP Software Distribution Center with in SAP Market place . You could search for adobe ther in S/W search . It will list all the available Aobe designer. Latest version is ADOBE LIVECYCLE DESIGNER 7.1 .

Hello,?I've a new X-Fi Xtreme Gamer Soundcard, but I'm not able to install it. I tried the CD, the driver on the page and the ISO somewhere in the forum. I get everywhere the same errormessage:?"No audio device that is compatible with this application can be found" I have deinstalled and deactivated the onboard sound in the bios. the soundcard is correctly in the slot ... (got the some problems with another slot)

Problems with downloading software for vista

I have tryed 3 times to download software for Ipod nano 4g with no luck
I get that the download is ok and I can see Itunes on my computer but see no devices on it I dont know what i am doing wrong is there a way to contact someone to walk me throught it on the phone. Please I need some help this is a gift for my daughter and I would like to have it work . thanks

Problem with Installing software!

Newbie to Mac, new iMac 2.66, Have a strange problem. Whenever I try to install most software I get this error! (even software from OS X install disks)

Without having read through all the log you enclosed I did notice that the computer is concerned about permissions. A first step is to Open Disk Utility, select the hd and Repair permissions. If there is a list of permissions repaired rerun this to verify that there are no more repairs needed. It takes about 10 mins to do this (each time).
After this you can try one of the installers again to see whether it works.
If not, I suggest that you insert the original installation dvd and restart holding the C key until the Select your language screen appears. Do this and on the next screen select Disk Utility from the tools menu. This time select your hd and choose repair disk. If there are repairs indicated and completed, rerun this to check that there are no more needed then rerun Repair permissions until these are clear too. Then restart and see whether installers will work.

Major Problem with Soundblaster x-fi Fatal1ty Extreme Gamer Pro Ser

I just built a new system and everything is working great except my sound. I have installed, uninstalled, reinstalled, checked bios, swapped pci slots, used disc drivers, used drivers from soundblaster auto update, tried speaker connections, headphones, and I am at my wits end here. I can hear sound very faintly with headphones/speakers and yes I am sure I am in the right jack and I tried all the jacks just to be certain. If anyone has any ideas please post.
My system specs are Windows XP Pro SP2 , Intel Core 2 Duo @2.33Ghz, 2GB of Corsair DDR2 RAM,
XFX Geforce 8800 GT 52DDR3 Alpha Dog, and an MSI P35 Neo Combo Mobo with a 650W Power Supply.

Put the card in another PC to be sure that it wasn't defecti've and it worked fine, checked and rechecked to be certain that each time I reinstalled that there were no previous traces of creative drivers left on the system that could cause a conflict. On board audio disabled in bios, tried both PCI slots on my computer. On another note, I took my old X-fi extreme music card and that wouldn't work in my PC either.

Don't pay attention to the guy that claims that it's "spyware city" at that site... If you follow the instructions I gave and only download the specified .torrent file, you won't have any problems. It's when you download unpopular torrents that claim to be something unlikely (one on there claims to be an early release of crysis, for instance), that you're going to find spyware. Be careful with that and always know what you can trust. The download for the X-Fi CD is definitely safe, as I use it myself. Good luck.

Hello HP team.
Having problem with installing driver for HP Officejet pro L7590.
Starting the process the process bar goes to the end 100% and then disappear.
After that nothing happens.
Rebooting doesn't help.

Lets try some more steps:
Uninstall, level 3 for HP PC or level 4 for non-HP PC.
1. Click Start and type %temp% in the run field and click OK.
2. Look for, and open the folder starting with 7z (Example: 7zS2356) (if there is more than one 7z folder, try the most recent one)
3. Open folder Util
4. Open folder CCC
5. Run the uninstall_ L4.bat for a non-HP PC or run the Uninstall_L3.bat for a HP PC
6. When the uninstall has completed restart the computer
Try to install again using the HP Printer Install Wizard for Windows

i have some books of cf.
i need to start on my tutorials
however,
they said the prereq is mx server

1. i did download mx 7 and chose mx developer edition.
my problem is that when it is self configure. (the second
option without apache or iis)
it is reall taking a long time to configure 2hrs. i did not
let it finish so i stopped the process.
what am i doing wrong in the set up process.
2. do i need apache to run CF. if so i did go to apache .org
