Problems with iPad 3 after IOS 5.1.1 update

Hello.
I connected my iPad to my imac this afternoon for the first time (usually it was synch with my sister's macbook pro), and the software update for ipad immediately started.
I thought it was no harm with updating.
However ever since it was updated, just within a hours, i noticed problems with it.
The screen moved on its own. Without me pressing or holding anything. The camera stopped working too.
I tried restoring through itunes on both my imac and my sis's macbook pro, the problem persisted and it was even more serious.
After restoring i could not even configure. The screen just enlarge, minimise on it's own, going back to the previous page on its own. And after a few seconds it will just HANG there. After restarting it's still the same.
NOW I IT'S LIKE I CANT EVEN USE IT?!?!
I'm getting really fed up with it.

Try a reboot of your ipad. Hold the Sleep/Wake button and Home button simulataneously. Keep holding, ignoring the red slider, until the Apple logo appears. Release the buttons and let the ipad restart. A reboot often fixes numerous problems.
Also are you aware that by suncing with a different computer it is likely the personal stuff you had on your ipad from your imac will be removed?
The ipad is designed to sync with only one device.

Popular mechanics app problem with ipad 2 IOS 5

I have a problem downloading old magazines from app popular mechanics after i updated the IOS to ver 5. For some reason it appears a message in the ipad screen indicating a problem with the server or that it loose the connection. Please help

I notice that they updated their app at the end of october to account for ios5. Did you do the upgrade from the app store? If you have, then the only other suggestion i have is to make sure the app is fully closed, - double tap the home key, hold an app on the task bar till they jiggle, and close off anything that is lurking down there. Look for an old instance of the same app.
Then relaunch the app and see if it works.

Music sync problems with ipad after 8.1.3 update

So toady after many weeks of meaning to update my music on iPad, I got round to doing it. I could cry at this moment I had the same problems with my iPod a few weeks back, where I could get so far with putting music on and then iTunes would just wipe what I had just put on. Does anyone know how to fix this problem? I ended up just giving up with my iPod. I lost over 200 songs, that iTunes decided to wipe off my device, and now I have just lost over 100 on my iPad. Help would be appreciated

Thanks Apple, for breaking my ipad, I suppose I will just have to wait for a 8.1.3 Jailbreak update, have never done it before, but it looks like that's the only possible way to get my ipad working again.

Problems with apps after iOS 6 update

I updated my iPhone two days ago and nearly nothing is working any more. Can't use the weather app, passbook doesn't work at all and don't want to talk about the maps. Also most of apps like facebook does not work or are incredibly slow. Does anyone has the same issues?

Yes. Sort of. Most of my apps work - and I received LOTS of notices for app upgrades I assume to be compatible with the newest OS upgrade. I am not having any problems with the maps - in fact like it much better than the google maps. I hope I am not jinxing myself considering I only used it once so far.
Issues I'm having on my 4s since the update: battery draining like crazy. Example ore upgrade I charge my battery every evening before I go to bed. Then I unplug it and keep it next to me on my nightstand. When I would wake up in the morning I would have about 95% battery remaining. That is without anything running in the background except mail. With upgrade SAME scenario I now wake up and have 25% remaining.
Can't get in passbook at all even with the so called date change work around. Absolutely useless!!!! That was probably the biggest change of the upgrade and can't use it.
Have errors - cannot connect to iTunes Store when trying to access App Store. Weird because the iTunes Store and App Store are 2 different things. I can access the iTunes Store. I can't access the App Store.
Very frustrating!

Many problems on IPad since iOS 8.1.3 update

SSince the update, my mail opens and either loads all messages again or just crashes. Most apps crash. Rebooting a lot. I tried to restore from backup and received an error saying that it could not restore because of an error. Any suggestions on how to fix this? It is almost unusable.

have tried plugging in to iTunes- on computer but doesn't get iPad out of recovery mode! Help?!?

Did you already try to reset the phone by holding the sleep and home button for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again? You will not lose data by resetting, but it can cure some glitches.

Audio problems with ipad 2 IOS 5.0.1

Are you experiencing same problems as i am? Just recently, i discovered that my ipad's audio wont work but when i tried to fix it, i was surprised because the volume is in max and every game was in mute. The music, ringtones, youtube, facebook videos work but i was bothered with the games. I think this was caused by the updated recently released by apple which is IOS 5.0.1 .

Have you got notifications muted ? Only notifications (including games) get muted, so the iPod and Videos apps, and headphones, still get sound.
Depending on what you've got Settings > General > Use Side Switch To set to (mute or rotation lock), then you can mute notifications by the switch on the right hand side of the iPad, or via the taskbar : double-click the home button; slide from the left; and it's the icon far left; press home again to exit the taskbar. Problems with storage after iOS 8.0.2

After I updated my wife to 8.0.2 on her 5s, it was not allowing her to take pictures. Said she had 12.1 GB of photos. She deleted practically every video and photo she had, and currently only has 11 photos on her phone but it says she still has 8.7 GB of photos. I've tried restarting the phone, syncing it in iTunes and still it shows she 8.7 GB of photos when that can't possibly be true. Any ideas?

same as above, only with a iPad A1416 64gb. until a day or two ago, it was resetting itself every few minutes and lots of crashes hanging there.. now it only resets itself every few hours.. before upgrading the ios 8 it never crashed, ever. geeus talk about regretting this upgrade !!! lots of apps still that are stuck in 'loading...' state, no amount of deleting or re downloading those apps work.. i just gave up and left to that.. i tried for two weeks.. everything i could find about it.. so gave up. guess i need to try some 'does the ipad3 blend' type youtube videos to get attention now
worse part is, I'm stuck in china, no 'genius bars' around here !

Music app problems with iPad 2 (iOS 5.1.1)

So lately I've been noticing the music app has been acting up. A while ago I deleted songs directly off of my iPad and then when I plugged it into a computer, the tracks came back but you cannot play them - they're faded, but you can still see all the information and stuff, I don't know if they're taking up memory or not. I know I should just go onto the computer and delete them from there, but it's still annoying. Another thing, sometimes it doesn't let me go to the previous song without putting up a fight. I have to repetitively press previous at least 10 times in a row, very fast in order to go back to just one song. Just a few moments ago, when I clicked on a song it would play a random one, not the one I selected. It did that to every song I selected, and then it suddenly started working correctly again. Lastly, I noticed that I've been missing a few album covers that were once there.
I just want to know if anyone else has been having the same issues at all? Thanks.

You don't have to delete music on your computer to remove music from an iPod, iPhone, or iPad. If you have Sync Music selected under the Music tab for your iPad sync preferences with iTunes and you have Sync Only Checked Songs and Video selected under the Summary tab for your iPad sync preferences with iTunes, you can uncheck the songs in your iTunes library or in the selected playlist in iTunes that you want removed from the iPad followed by a sync.
Any change after powering your iPad off and on and/or after a reset, which is done by pressing and holding the home button and the sleep/wake or on/off button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo and then release?
If not and you have Sync Music selected under the Music tab for your iPad sync preferences with iTunes, deselect Sync Music followed by a sync. This should remove all music from your iPad. Follow this by reselecting Sync Music making your selections below followed by another sync to re-transfer the music back to the iPad.

Problems with iPAD2 after iOS 8 installation

After the iOS8 upgrade, all the radio-APPs I have stop after about 20 minutes. If I start the same radio stations from Safari it's the same, they also stop after a certain time.
I have not found any setting that may cause this problem.

A lot more problems after the upgrade, i am back to ios 7.2.1 which runs smooth.
After ios8 upgrade very slow performance on all data channels, facetime freezes , streaming audio working bad. :-(

Problems with camera after iOS 5 update

My camera screen keeps going black since I installed iOS 5 update. This is on a 3GS. Is anyone else having this problem or know how to fix it?

Have you tried a reset ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

Anyone having problems with keyboard after iOS 7.1 installed on iPhone 5s?

After install of iOS 7.1 certain characters on keyboard are not functioning (U, H, N, !, $, 7). I have reset the keyboard and also restarted but still no luck.

1. Settings > General > Reset > Reset Keyboard Dictionart
2. Reset: Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Note: You will not lose any data

Problems with 3G after iOS 6 update

I updated to iOS 6 the other night and since then my 3G has not worked. The symbol appears but am unable to connect to the Internet without wifi. I am on O2 and have done a soft reset (home and on/off) button until apple symbol appears but this did not work either. Any ideas?

Can not open videos on iPad after iOS 8.0.2 update

I've updated my iPad's software to iOS 8.0.2 from iOS 8 and suddenly I can not watch any video from Youtube or any website. This is a big issue for me and couldn't find any solution. When I open the Youtube app, videos do not load and an error occurs. Then I tried to watch something on a website and realized that the problem is not only for Youtube but any kind of web based platforms. By the way, this not because of wifi connection. It is connected with a strong signal. Everything works fine except watching something.
Can I convert my software to previous version through iTunes or is there any other way to fix this? I hope the only way to get rid of this problem is not waiting for the next software version to be released.

(A) Try reset iPad
Hold the Sleep/Wake and Home button down together until you see the Apple Logo.
Note: Data will not be affected.
(B) Close all apps in the multi-task window
1.Double-click the Home button.
2. Swipe the app's preview up to close it.
3. Preview will fly off the screen.

My video zoom does not work on my iphone or ipad after IOS 7.0.2 update.

After updating iPad and iPhone 4S to IOS7.0.2 the video zoom function does not work. I have also lost the function to zoom on video playback.

Is somebody from Apple monitoring these forums? I do have the same problem, i just recently noticed that the zoom in my video camera is no longer available since I upgraded my 4S iPhone to the newest version.
