Problems with mapping the BOM and ROUTING

Hi.
in my business process for manufacturing one finished product.it needs 2 operations. in the first operation there are 4 raw materials. the first operation produces a material x. and this material x goes in to the 2nd operation and and there the material again under goes some manufacturing. there are four more raw mterials involved in the operation.I get my finished product there.but my business wants to track material x. which is a non stock material. it gets manufactured in operation 10 and gets consumed in operation 20. how to track this material.
so will this bom be a multi level bom, lower level to manufacture material x and higher level for manufacturing the finished product.

If you want to track the consumption of material "X", then you need to go for multilevel BOM. This calls for different production order for material "X" also. This needs seperate routing also.

You need to add the pbclient.jar or some similar name like that, in the CalssPath.

I need to read using current from a DC Power Supply ( HP E3631A),via GPIB interface.
When I use the follow command.Why can't read the current value.My environment is in vc++ 6.0.

A read timeout error is usually caused by an error on the command string sent.
The first thing I would check is if the instrument requires a termination character at the end of each message (such as linefeed). I noticed in the Spy capture that the commands do not have a termination character attached. This means that the instruments never recognized that you completed the query command, it doesn't execute the requested action and as a consequence of that it doesn't have any data to return.
One question: Is the instrument detected by MAX when you scan for instruments?. If yes then you can assume that the GPIB software and hardware are properly installed. The scan for instruments sends the *IDN? (terminated by a linefeed). You can right-cli
ck on the instrument entry in MAX and select "Communicate with instrument". Notice that at the end of the command the linefeed is included (\n).
Double check with the instrument manual if the commands sent are the right ones.
Finally, there is an instrument driver available in the idnet library: www.ni.com/idnet. Search for 3631. Since you are working in C you can use the LabWindows/CVI Plug and Play driver. Even if you decide not to use the instrument driver, you can still use it as an excellent reference on how to program with the instrument.

Have you restored the iPod to factory defaults/new iPod? If so then you have a hardware problem. Maybe a loose/brken connector or maybe something else.

I am using bom and Routing Interface to load the Bom and Routing Header.papulating the BOM_INVENTORY_COMPS_INTERFACE,BOM_OP_SEQUENCES_INTERFACE,and BOM_OP_RESOURCES_INTERFACE tables BOM header and Components are created sucessfully but routing is failed with process flag 3.the errorr i am getting is You cannot update or delete operation sequences when there is no routing for the assembly item &ASSEBLY_ITEM_NAME. (ASSEMBLY_ITEM_NAME=TESTITEMBOM) (ORGANIZATION_CODE) and
This record received an error status since a severe error occurred in the operation sequence 10 while performing user unique index conversions."
please let me know any api is avilable to load ROUTING Components

Try following
step 1. Insert routing header (bom_op_routings_interface) : Run Interface
step 2. Insert routing lines (bom_op_sequences_interface) with correct reference to routing_sequence_id: Run Interface
step 3. Insert all resource lines (bom_op_resources_interface) with correct reference to operation_sequence_id, routing_sequence_id , Run Interface.

For a oil refinery wht will be the BOM and Routing.Input is crude and out put is 32 FGs at differnt level.The routing seems to be complex and how to structure the BOM ?How the product costing is done in refinery? Any body have implmented in refinery?Please share your experiance.

I just wanted to leave a note that it's working now. I'm not sure if it was the latest iTunes update that got it working or that i decided to start a new library instead of using the one i had backed up on Windows 8 (it didn't occur to me to check using the old library when i re-installed iTunes). But if anyone is having this problem, it might be worth trying again with a new installation of iTunes to see if the latest update works for you, and if not, try using a fresh library instead of a backup (by fresh library i mean discard your old library completely and start a new library, not just restore as new iPhone, a whole new library).

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
*Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
*Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

I have been using 3 devices with my wireless network, and suddenly none of them work. I've tried turning off the modem and router but that hasn't fixed the problem.

I've been using iPhone, iPad and MacBook with my wireless network, and suddenly, none of them will connect. The first sign I had that there ws a problem was when I was asked multiple times to re-enter the password, but regardless of how many times I did so it wasn't successful. I've tried turning off and on the moden and router but that doesn't help. Suggestions please?

go into the routers setup and redo the setup like it have disabled the whole wifi system

Looking for BOM and Routing objects created with a BAPI

(I ran this one up the flagpole in the data forum and didn't get any responses. Maybe someone here has see this phenomon?)
I'm invoking BAPI_MATERIAL_BOM_GROUP_CREATE from an external Java program. I believe my code matches the example I find here and in the SAP documentation (transaction BAPI). When it finishes, I get a successful return (type=I, number=000), and a message of "BOMGroup 00000070/TAM1/1 has been created. External reference:" But I can't find anything back on the SAPGUI - the material number still says it has no BOM (on CS02); I don't see any new BOM Groups (on CS06). By the way, the "00000070" number seems to be assigned by SAP: I t increments each time I run my test, so I must be doing something; the TAM1 in that message is the plant, and the "1" is the BOM Usage I assign in my BAPI (both in the BOMGroup structure and the MATERIALRELATIONS structure). I do a commit transaction at the end too, although the BAPI to create the material created it without me doing a commit, so I don't think that was necessary.
(Update since I posted this on the other forum: I tried to create a routing and have the same result - 000 message number, and a message including an SAP-assigned number, making me think I've created an object, but I don't see it anywhere. Any idea which tables I can look at to find them, and maybe see what's missing (e.g., with SE12 or some such)?)
Any thoughts on what I AM creating? Or some little thing I'm missing here?

Standard cost with material with alternate BOM and Routing

I have a set up where the same material can be manufactured in 2 different production lines and each production line has two different BOMs and Routings. If I want to have a blended standard cost for the material what are our options?
We do not want to do split valuation.

You can different PCC (Product cost collector) for both lines of the same product (Product cost by period).
You can define a production process within a product cost collector for each line of production with a combination of BOM and Routing. TCode KKF6n. It would generate a order number for each production process.
You can use each order within the PCC for each production line to capture the costs for seperate lines.

Problem with Map Loader 3.0.28.0 and 5800XM

Hi all, i have a problem with maps upload to my mobile, whenever i start Map Loader i see a message: You have connected at least one phone (Soft) without a Maps drive. Either you are using an old Map version - .. - or have never started your Maps application... I use USB PC-Suite mode, I have had run Maps application on my phone before i try to connect Map Loader, the Maps version installed on the phone is v3.03 10wk01 b05 - so that's obviously not a reason!! Now i can't install new maps anymore - i just can click this error window away and choose some maps, they would be downloaded from the Internet, but they would not appear on my mobile! With a previous version of the map loader (don't know the version number any more, and previous maps version on the phone, i have no problem) I also need a link to Maps Updater due the Nokia site malfunction - couldn't find this software anymore.... sorry my poor english :-)

Problem solved! The STUPID software searchs for ALL mass storage devices attached to your computer, so I got error messages all the time until I unplug my USB Hard drive.
Thank you Nokia guys, your were great help by solving this problem .....
By the way, the STUPID software doesn't shows the maps that would be all ready installed on the phone, and you couldn't say that the upload of the maps was really successful until you waisting your time watching the progress bar to the end.
I wouldn't be suprise if you can install the same map twice so it takes the twice space....

iTunes is a mess! It couldn't find it's own libraries and I was forced to create a new one. Now I don't know where my music is or if any's missing.
